Rio Grande Blankenese Restaurant Steakhous in Hamburg

Very tasty Black Angus steak and burgers, we were served quickly, unfortunately the pasta couldn't keep up with the steaks.

A good steakhouse, the food is tasty and the service is good.

Schönes Ambiente und sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Tolle Ausstattung und leckeres preiswertes Speisen. Die Gerichte sind sehr gut angerichtet und schmecken hervorragend. Auch gibt es immer ein tolles Angebot für den Mittagstisch und der geht auch besonders lange.

We were there for brunch and it was excellent. Very large selection and really tasty. The staff is attentive and courteous.

Sorry, but this was by far the worst delivery meal in the last 4 or 5 years. We had 1 cheeseburger with fries and chicken wings with country potatoes for 38 euros. Good: everything was hot, nothing was spoiled, the sour cream was solid and poured generously from the cooled ready-made bucket. Bad: the BBQ sauce was disgusting, the country potatoes were still raw inside, the cole slaw side dish contained a homeopathic dose of almost 2 tablespoons. The chicken wings were the type of VERY cheap ready-made frozen products, wow. The burger was the low point. Only the pickled cucumber slices stood out in terms of taste, the rest was completely tasteless. Or my tongue was paralyzed from previous experiences, you don't know. Oh my God. Never again. That was really bad, so I'd rather just drink tap water and starve ;)

Pleasant atmosphere, delicious food and extremely friendly staff. We have been there several times and can really recommend the restaurant. The Sunday brunch is particularly noteworthy: a rich buffet including a pot of coffee and even juice. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right.

Not recommended! Pepsi is touted as Cola Zero! Other sugar substitutes lead to health problems. It's not nice that you get the wrong information and only when confronted directly does the waiter admit that it's not Cola Zero. The icing on the cake was when the bill showed the drink as Cola Zero! I have to admit, this almost borders on cheating.

My daughters and I love the family atmosphere, the friendly welcome and the uncomplicated way of dealing with the guests. The food is really good and we are happy to have a local restaurant where you feel completely welcome.

Very nice restaurant, service excellent. Short waiting times, food tastes great with a good selection. Best restaurant I've eaten at in a long time. Prices are appropriate for the quality. The only negative point: when I look at the drinks menu, I find the prices, for example for a 0.4l orange lemonade at an impressive €6.50, no longer proportionate and disappointing. I tried: avocado burger and pork tenderloin, both highly recommended

We have been eating here regularly individually and as a family for years. We celebrated big birthdays here and other highlights. The great food, the family atmosphere and everything make it one of our favorite restaurants. We just haven't eaten dessert for years because everything is just too expensive.

We eat here with 12 people every first Saturday of the month and are always impressed by the service and good food. I can recommend the Rio Grande restaurant with a clear conscience. The owner and the staff are very friendly and attentive to the guests. The food is always tasty.

Wir waren an zwei Abenden hintereinander dort essen, weil es sehr lecker war. Tolles Ambiente, sehr nette Bedienung, schnelle Bewirtung und wirklich für alle ein leckeres essen, keine kleine Portionen. Die Karte ist recht groß und alles was wir probierten war lecker!

Wir hier überaus gut gespeist. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Gerichte haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Aufenthalt in diesem Lokal ist jederzeit zu empfehlen.

We have enjoyed the great and sumptuous Sunday brunch several times. The service is extremely friendly and quick. You should definitely reserve in good time. Unfortunately, the price is too high for children between the ages of three and ten and does not include soft drinks - a shame. Otherwise: recommended!

That's how it should be! We had another family reunion in Blankenese and were never disappointed with the Rio Grande. And that's how it was today 👍, delicious affordable food and never the feeling of being ripped off. Good wine, cold beer, even draft wheat beer... What more could you want? The service is attentive but never intrusive and we were even able to choose the color of our candle flame from the charming service staff 🤩 the patron personally said goodbye to us and shook our hands... Where else can you get that other than in Italy and unfortunately it's becoming increasingly rare France... A successful evening and a great team, stay like that, we'll be happy to come back 👍😊

We went to Rio Grande for brunch today. It was really great. The buffet was plentiful and varied, the team friendly and attentive. The ambience of the restaurant is upscale, but not aloof, everything is clean and tidy. We were also very impressed by the great tableware, which is very high quality. The only point of criticism is perhaps that it was very tight at the buffet. Nevertheless: We will definitely come back :-).
