Nice place to have a drink in the evening.

Simply wonderful... The food was a dream... The service was superb, and the atmosphere was top-notch.

The layout of the space is poorly designed and very cramped. This makes it uncomfortable, especially for a Christmas brunch. The food was okay for €25.

I used to frequently take advantage of Scotty's lunch menu to grab something tasty during my lunch break. Unfortunately, the quality of the takeaway food has declined significantly. My fish and chips from Hamburg today was very disappointing. For €13.50, I only got a tiny piece of fish, and instead of fried potatoes, I had unsalted parsley potatoes... I know that the restaurant industry is struggling these days, but the price/performance ratio was completely off. It's a shame; I'll have to find somewhere else for my future lunch breaks.

We were there with a large group and despite the dining room being full, the service was quick. The food was delicious.

We were there on Friday and came from Hanover. I was given a 45-minute time slot for the reservation. The atmosphere was lovely, and the ladies gave us a warm welcome. The food was exceptional. And to top it all off, my girlfriend received a birthday surprise. Thank you for the wonderful evening! ❤️

A cozy steakhouse with a good, manageable selection of burgers and steak variations. The staff is friendly and attentive, the prices are reasonable, but it's not cheap.

We had lunch at Scotty's today. Five stars for the food! We had the delicious burgers. The meat was incredibly juicy and high quality. You could definitely taste the difference. The salad was crisp and fresh. A big thank you to Nury & Jukii for the wonderful service. They were so attentive and friendly. Five stars for the service too! The owner can be proud to have such great staff. We'll definitely be back.

I recently learned about Scotty from a very nice employee, Nuri. Everything there is lovely. The food is truly excellent. It was seriously the most delicious steak I've had in Hamburg. The mixed grill platter with various steaks is the absolute highlight.

The restaurant on Friedensallee is okay, but the new one in the former Katelbach isn't. The kitchen apparently hasn't been renovated, and the oil hasn't been changed, etc. We ate at Katelbach twice years ago. The first time wasn't so good, so we gave it a second chance, and again we had gas and an overall feeling of lethargy. After Scotty took over, we were glad that this classic coffee house had been preserved. But again, we had gas and felt tired. At least the cake was good! Ottensen has a lot of restaurants, but hardly any good ones. Everything's on that shabby H&M level. The "Kleine Brunnenstraße" restaurant is okay, the rest is rubbish. But there are hundreds of fast-food joints within a 600-meter radius. That surely explains the rampant human excrement on the streets.

A chance find on Friday evening at the start of our girls' weekend. Super delicious food, the lamb skewers are highly recommended, the burgers also looked great and, according to my friends, were just as delicious as they looked. This evening, to round off our weekend, we went back after a very early, wet start at the fish market and then, unfortunately, nothing but rain for the rest of the day. A delicious salad with a delicious dressing and shrimp as tender as you could wish for. And the service left nothing to be desired; incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. All around, fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Altona!

Small, cozy steakhouse. We were lucky and got a table for five without a reservation. Friendly service, and the burgers looked very good. We had the fish pan for two people. The different types of fish were cooked to perfection, and the vegetables weren't overcooked. Everything was well-seasoned.

We've been going to Scotty's regularly for three years now. We appreciate the delicious steaks and the truly inviting atmosphere! The super-friendly staff and delicious, plentiful food round out the whole experience. Great location!!! 😊We look forward to many more visits this year!

A spontaneous visit to the restaurant. Very friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Good selection of dishes. Wait times for drinks and food were absolutely reasonable, and the steak was prepared as requested (rare). Very good meat with proof of origin, portion sizes appropriate. The steak and the side dishes were delicious. I'll stop by again on my next visit to Hamburg 👍🏻😊

Nuri is the highlight of this restaurant for me! She does more than just serve, she's the soul and made sure we didn't miss a thing! This is what the 5 stars were invented for: really, really good! Absolutely perfect meat/steak. Side dishes are also delicious, and even if it's a salad, Scotty delivers.

We were here for the breakfast buffet, which is always very good, with a very good selection. The selection of cold cuts and cheeses was a bit limited, in my opinion, but the grilled vegetables were plentiful, with typical Italian flair and dishes. They served very good filter coffee and a delicious selection of tea bags. The salmon, as always, was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, there was a small drawback this time: juices and water were often running low, as there was also a large birthday party there, and service was a bit slow... all in all, we'll be back.

We ate there as a group yesterday and were thoroughly satisfied. The service was excellent, and the team, despite the full house, worked together well and enjoyed their work. The white wines were particularly delicious. The menu, while limited, offers something for every taste. Highly recommended!

The only thing missing from the steak I got was some vegetables, I got a steak with a baked potato, 2 pieces of Flüt with some tomato sauce. It tasted fantastic, nothing to complain about the taste, and the burgers my family got were super delicious. Highly recommended

Two of us spontaneously went here for dinner today. We each had two drinks, an appetizer, and the grilled platter for two. The two waitresses were very nice, and we didn't lack for anything. The tomato soup was delicious, and the grilled platter was a dream. Card payments accepted. 😀

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, but rather clumsy. They prepared a steak at lunchtime upon request – a special gesture. We ordered both dishes medium, but unfortunately, one was still very rare. Ordered one dish with fries, one with a baked potato – both arrived with a baked potato, but the waitress immediately brought us a portion of fries. Neither of them tasted particularly good either, rather chewy. Ordered a lemonade without ice – received it with ice. Ordered a Lagavulin – it was quite light, because it was only 8 years old, not 16. For €9.50, it would be nice if the age was listed on the menu. Overall, the visit was rather disappointing. It's a shame, the staff seemed to have made an effort.

Exactly what you'd expect from a steakhouse. Delicious fries, juicy burgers, and well-cooked meat. Prices are absolutely reasonable. It's just a bit noisy outside in the summer, being on a busy street.

Very tasty, the grill platter for two is highly recommended. The homemade lemonades are really good and not too sweet. The wait time is relatively long, but reasonable, and it's also great with small children. There were somethings to draw right away. Unfortunately, a few things in the restroom were broken and need replacing: the towel and soap dispenser.

I can't comment on the ambiance inside; we sat outside. The surf & turf was a joke (two shrimp on a skewer), the meat was pretty good, but the vegetables and potatoes could have been a bit crispier.

Overall the food was bland. The Australian Premium Ribeye was tasteless. The baked potato was okay. The hamburger was good, but the French fry’s tasted like old oil. The lamb kabobs were decent. Nothing food wise that would bring us back. The service was awful. Dirty plates sat until we asked for them to be removed, but only took 2 for some reason without even asking about the third. We had to request the third plate be removed. Then we had to get her attention again to ask about that pay the bill. Never once were we asked if we wanted more to drink (we did) never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee (we did). We paid and left mad.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately there were initially only 3 menus and 4 coasters for the glasses for 7 people. The duck was only boiled instead of then grilled until brown and crispy. There were only 3 croquettes per plate. I thought that was stingy and overall the canteen looks better.

Mein Mann und ich waren am 3.Advent im Scottys zum brunchen. Das war mit Abstand das beste , was wir als „Frühstückesjunkies“ jemals hatten. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön , das Personal herausragend und die Speisen ein Gedicht. Besonders hat uns die ganze gebackene Lachsseite( aus frischen Lachs!) und der selbst gebackene Käsekuchen gefallen. Aber auch alles andere verdient die Bewertung erstklassig ! Alle Speisen waren wunderschön angerichtet und es wurde ständig nachgelegt. Wir kommen wieder - auf jeden Fall !!! Da lohnt sich auch die weite Anreise aus Göttingen

Yesterday we traveled from Hanover/Hameln for the musical and had dinner at Scotty's Steak Bar beforehand. Before eating we were served bread with a dip made from dried tomatoes with oil, garlic and parmesan... very tasty. For dinner we ordered 2 steak plates and the grill plate for 2 people and the food absolutely impressed us and was very good. The waiting time was very short, but we were eating at an unusual time in the afternoon and the restaurant wasn't full. For dessert there was the chocolate mishap and the chocolate mousse, both of which are highly recommended. The staff was totally friendly and service-oriented. We can only recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back on our next visit to Hamburg. 5 stars 🌟

For me, Scotty's is a restaurant that I enjoy visiting again and again. Whether it's steak or vegetarian dishes, it's always delicious. I particularly appreciate the cozy and unpretentious atmosphere. The service is without exception friendly and mostly attentive. Sitting outside in good weather, having a relaxed chat and watching the locals go by – that makes it one of my favorite places. Simply good

I've been enjoying my lunch break here for years; The constantly changing menu with some “regular dishes” is highly recommended (vegetarian and vegan options are also on offer); They always try to accommodate my special requests (if possible); very friendly staff and competent restaurant management!! In the evening I also enjoy using the extensive menu; Unfortunately, satisfied guests rarely give feedback here; I wanted to make my positive contribution!!

There could be more! When, when you enter the restaurant, the service staff start arguing about the reservation (which table is now available), you are asked twice what you want to order while the menu is still open, and the mezze all taste the same and are also slightly fizzy, and at the end you don't get a receipt without asking, then you get the faint feeling that you're in the wrong place! Fundamentally wrong! Should we have paid attention to the spelling errors in the menu? Beure instead of Beurre, etc. I hadn't seen my girlfriend in a while and didn't want to spread a bad mood, especially since she suggested Scotty's. But I remember one thing clearly: this bistro doesn't deserve a second chance!
