Not recommended!!! I politely asked if I could use the toilet. The boss replied unfriendlyly, whereupon I asked where the toilet was. The answer I got was that it wasn't his problem and he couldn't take care of everything and "I should just open my eyes." This is not how customers should be treated! I also read the other reviews and it seems I'm not the only one with such experiences. It's a shame that it seems to be everyday life there. I have great compassion for the employees.

Thanks to the friendly serving staff. I had no idea from the menu that sorbet would be offered instead of typical ice cream. Soon I will have to ask in advance wherever I am. I found no connection between the taste and the advertised variety, just (only) very, very, very sweet frozen food. Probably a matter of taste. It's a shame that ashtrays are distributed, why not postpone the service until the evening.

Very friendly service, nice conversations are also possible. No stress of branch chains. The ice cream and especially the homemade cream are a delight. Anyone who asks for spray cream here is making themselves unpopular. You can sit wonderfully in front of the entrance in the shade, no through traffic. Perfect, keep it up...I'll be happy to come back. :-)

Ice cream is ok. But I think it was the boss who asked my 4-year-old son out of the shop because his ice cream might drip all over the floor, complained to the employees that they should work properly because there was so much going on and told the people in the entrance area to take their place do for the employees (with the words "I don't care about you"). I don't go there with my children anymore. If you can't handle stress, you shouldn't open a restaurant or bistro. The sound always makes the music

It's best not to go there at all. Food is okay but unfortunately the boss is very disrespectful to his employees (even in front of the customers) NOT WORKING AT ALL! I don't want to be in that kind of atmosphere. Once and never again!

That was my first and last time in this ice cream parlor. The food was good but what's the point of a good meal if the boss is a complete disaster. I have never seen a boss treat his employees as badly in front of the customers as he did in this juice shop. The employees did a good job and still did their best in the overcrowded store and everything else deserved such treatment.

Ice cream was delicious, but you can see that the boss unfortunately treated his employees very disrespectfully and inferiorly. I won't go there again because I don't support that sort of thing.

The ice cream is known for its quality. You can enjoy a cappuccino and ice cream there in peace.

Not recommendable!!! Was spoken to in an extremely unfriendly manner by the boss just because I wanted to take a few servings because I accidentally spilled some ice cream on the table. The owner said that the servings were too expensive and that we didn't need any servings for my ice cream. At a price of €2.30 per scoop, that's a bit excessive. (We ate on site). There are much cheaper alternatives with friendlier staff. Vg

In a small hidden bend you can eat good and tasty ice cream. Few varieties but all the more delicious.

Nicely located cafe. Ate a fruit sundae. Everything fresh and delicious. There were delicious sounding dishes on the menu. Super friendly and nice service. We'll go there again.

The employee or boss seems a bit overwhelmed because one of the employees was probably sick. Card payment is only possible from €20 and is otherwise not accepted. You are asked to drive to the nearest bank, receive interesting instructions and unfriendly comments. Finally, there is a note on the counter in the size of a business card. Not very customer friendly.

We came for ice cream and stayed for the burrata on eggplant puree. Incredibly delicious!

What should be highlighted most is the great, lovely chef who always creates new, unusual, delicious dishes. Here you can have a great time in a relaxed atmosphere. Great, nice and courteous service. I was in Hamburg for a week in December 2023 and lived in the middle-class district of Volksdorf. You automatically pass the historic and one of the oldest buildings in the chic suburb, house number 5, in which I spent several lunches and evenings. Luckily. The immediately very appealing location is basically a café, restaurant and ice cream bar in one, super cozy and is run by an extremely friendly and courteous couple from Volksdorf. Both really lovely and unusually customer-oriented. My final impression described in just a few words: Very, very tasty, visually appealing, because the eye is always eating and drinking, very fast, varied, high quality, first-class culinary and, above all, AFFORDABLE, a very important attribute especially in these times. In my opinion, the attached pictures speak the rest. Conclusion: I will definitely come back and thank you very much for your unique hospitality and the chef's real work!!! It is very tastefully decorated. Very good food. Fish with pumpkin risotto. Delicious. Very good wine. Delicious dessert, ice cream! We really liked it and we'll be back.

Das Eis ist das beste in Volksdorf und einer der besten in Hamburg.

Sehr gutes Eis! Die Auswahl war wahrscheinlich Jahreszeitenbedingt nicht mehr so gross, da ich Mitte September dort war. War aber kein Problem, da das Himbeer- und Belgische Schokolade-Eis wirklich lecker waren! Sehr freundliche Bedienung und nettes Publikum. Ich komme sicher wieder.

Die Kugel Eis kostet laut Karte 1,80 €. Dafür schmeckt es außerordentlich gut, Qualität hat eben ihren Preis. Sehr gerne wieder, alletdings nicht so oft (Preis).

Wir waren jetzt des öfteren dort. Zum Eisessen und auch warm. Das Eis ist ein Traum ich habe noch nie so gutes Eis gegessen. Als wir mit der Familie dort waren, 5 Erwachsene und 6 Kids,wurden wir sehr herzlich bedient. Wir fühlten und nicht eine Sekunde unwohl. Alle waren sehr lieb und verständnisvoll. Es gab warmes essen und als Nachtisch Eis.Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Danke an das tolle Team und alles super lecker. Macht weiter so....

Kleine, feine "Eisbar" in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße im Ortskern von Volksdorf (Hat gerne mal den Vorteil hinsichtlich der Wartezeit). Die Sorte mit dem größten Erfolg im Gaumen ist für mich dunkle Schokolade und Tonka. Aber auch ein Spaghetti Eis lässt sich hier gut Löffeln. :)

Wir hatten letzten Freitag Abend spontan einen wunderschönen Sommerabend in der Eisbar. Geplant war Wein und Flammkuchen, aber dann waren wir von der Speisekarte so überrascht, dass wir als Vorspeise eine Burrata auf Auberginenpüree (unfassbar lecker), Pasta und Eis verzehrten. Von vier Hauptgerichten waren drei mit „Sonderwünschen“, die alle mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht berücksichtigt wurden. Der Wein und Service waren ebenso wunderbar wie das Essen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und erzählen gern von unserer Neuentdeckung in Volksdorf! Toll, dass es euch gibt!

Für unsere Familie und Besucher mit Abstand die beste Eisdiele in Volksdorf und weiterer Umgebung. In schöner, ruhiger Atmosphäre gibt es stets freundlichen Service, der neben leckerem Eis, Kaffee und Kuchen auch Mittagstisch und Gerichte einer kleinen Abendkarte serviert. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Eine Kugel 1,80€ ist schon eine kleine Ansage allerdings war das Eis (in meinem Fall Sorte Gries, da ich Milchreis Eis Fan bin) auch wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Ich gebe 5 Sterne für den Geschmack und einen Stern Abzug verbunden mit der Frage ob es nicht doch auch für 1,50€ geht. Inzwischen haben ja sowohl die Rohstoffpreise als auch die Energiepreise wieder deutlich nachgelassen.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Köstliches selbstgemachtes Eis,kleine Gerichte,lauschigen Terrasse unter Bäumen und vorallem sehr freundliches Personal.Wir kommen wieder und werden Stammgäste.Weiter so!

Wir können diese Eisbar wirklich nur weiterempfehlen!!! Das Eis ist Weltklasse, wechselt sich regelmäßig durch, daher ist es immer wieder spannend hinzugehen und sich überraschen zu lassen. Auch die warmen Gerichte sind sehr liebevoll gestaltet und einfach nur lecker! Die Mitarbeiter sind mega lieb und auch gerne mal für ein spässchen bereit. Einfach TOP! Wir kommen extra aus Bergedorf hier her- es lohnt sich jedesmal !! Lieben Gruß

Sehr nette Bedienung. Das Eis ist eher fruchtig mit geringerem Sahneanteil. Die meisten Eissorten sind nicht beschildert, so dass man sich durchfragen muss.

Vor ein paar Wochen bin ich zufällig über diesen kleinen, aber feinen Laden gestolpert. Da es relativ warm war, dachte ich mir holst du dir mal ein Eis. Ich glaube, ich habe in meinem Leben noch nie so ein tolles Eis gegessen, überhaupt nicht künstlich, so wie man es von ganz vielen anderen kennt, auch der Mittagstisch, der wöchentlich wechselt, ist ein Traum!! Bin mittlerweile so gut wie jeden Tag in meiner Mittagspause da :)) Auch ein ganz großes Lob an das so unglaubliche tolle Team! Mega sympathisch, immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht und einfach mega lieb. Bitte behaltet das so bei!!!

Kleine Eisdiele mit sehr schöner Terrasse Es gibt auch Mittagstisch und einige warme Speisen. Alles eher im höherpreisigen Bereich. Das Team ist sehr freundlich... bei uns gab's ein kleines Malheur das professionell und freundlich aus der Welt geschafft wurde.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal bei der Eisbar und es war einfach toll! Das Eis war super lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Auch die Lage ist 1A. Zentral, aber doch ruhig. Wir hatten einen -ich würde schon fast sagen- perfekten Nachmittag. Platz 3 unter den Eisdielen Hamburgs ist auf jeden Fall verdient! Wir kommen gerne wieder, um auch mal das herzhafte Essen zu probieren.

Die Bremerin sagt halloooo 🤓 Ich war letzten Freitag mit meinem Freund zum ersten Mal bei der Eisbar. Nicht nur dass das Eis unglaublich war, durften wir den super sympathischen Chef kennenlernen! Es war super schön und man hat vom Nebentisch gehört, wie perfekt das Essen sei und man noch nie sowas gutes gegessen habe. Heute waren wir selbst zum Abendessen da und es war wieder ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Man kommt rein und fühlt sich total wohl! Alle sind lieb und total aufmerksam. Der Espresso ist der Wahnsinn und er mundet in vollen Zügen. Dass das Essen der Wahnsinn sei können wir nun bestätigen und möchten anmerken, dass die wechselnde Tageskarte eine tolle Idee ist und dort echt lecker aussehende und riechende Sachen gezaubert werden. P.S.: Das Birnen Eis mit dem Vornamen Williams ist super duper!

Tolle Atmosphäre, gefühlt eher eigenes Wohnzimmer, als Restaurant oder Gastro Stube. Die Tagesgerichte (Risotto mit Seafood und Pasta mit Spargel und Rinderfiletspitzen) rasant über jedem Erwartungshorizont. Dessert bestes belgisches Schokoeis und Himbeer/Blaubeer Parfait irre lecker. Tolle Weine, super Service. Reelle Preise. Volksdorf, geht doch!!! 😍😍
