Great lunch with good value for money. Very good quality of ingredients paired with friendly service. Parking situation but very difficult.

We would like to share our experience at the “Küchenfreunde Lehmweg” because it unfortunately disappointed us very much. First, we sent our feedback directly to management, hoping for feedback or at least some insight. Unfortunately there was no answer. Instead, an attempt was apparently made to have our review deleted - an approach that speaks volumes. Now about our experience: A week before our visit we had reserved a table and specifically asked for a high chair because our daughter cannot yet sit independently in a normal chair. Despite this early request, there was no high chair available for us when we arrived. When we asked, we were told rather rudely that other families had reserved earlier and that the high chairs were therefore already taken. A simple advance notice would have allowed us to find a solution - but instead we were faced with a fait accompli. After a while a high chair became available, but the entire handling of the situation was anything but customer-oriented. What was particularly concerning, however, was our experience with food for our daughter. Since she doesn't eat potatoes and all the children's meals consisted exclusively of them, we were offered risotto as an alternative. When we specifically asked whether this was prepared with alcohol, we were assured that it could be freshly cooked and prepared for our child without alcohol. After our daughter had eaten with us and we took the risotto home, we discovered that the risotto had a clear alcohol note - an absolute shock, because we would have almost given it to our 22-month-old daughter without hesitation. It is completely unacceptable that such a sensitive request was not treated with the necessary care. Our experience shows that there is a significant need for improvement in this restaurant - both in communication with guests and in the responsible handling of food for children. Instead of dealing with legitimate criticism, attempts were made to suppress our evaluation. We have drawn our conclusions from this and will no longer visit this restaurant.

We had an incredibly nice evening with the kitchen friends, super friendly service, both the starters and the main courses (the rump steak and the Viennese schnitzel) came super quickly and were simply wonderful. Warmest recommendation for everyone!!

A wonderful experience with the kitchen friends! The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was simply excellent. We were particularly impressed by the excellent wine advice - perfectly coordinated and presented with a lot of specialist knowledge. We had a really nice evening and would love to come back. Absolutely recommended!

I usually visit the store regularly, but yesterday, along with two friends, I had stomach problems for the first time after visiting. Unfortunately, when I mentioned this politely on the phone, I was treated very unfriendly. This response disappointed me because I just wanted to point out the problem. Although I actually enjoy visiting the store, I am now unsure whether I will continue shopping there in the future - not because of the stomach problems, but because of the rude treatment on the phone.

Food was super tasty, drinks were great! But the young male waiter was far too pushy. Impossible! Things were sold to us (which isn't bad at first), but it got to the point that we no longer got what we wanted. It's a shame that such intrusive and aggressive behavior from a waiter makes the atmosphere and the restaurant visit unenjoyable. We won't be coming back again.

Very tasty food. Great dishes and great changing lunch menu. The service is warm and relaxed. The atmosphere is more suitable for business lunches and dinners for adults. All in all, a good place if you want to eat really good food.

I found a 50€ voucher that I received for my birthday, it had expired and I realized that it could no longer be legally redeemed. I asked him to accept it as a gesture of goodwill. At its core, this was possible. At Küchenfreunde Family this was dismissed with a “no longer valid”. I was very annoyed.

A beautiful restaurant - suitable for a date or business lunch. I really like the color scheme. The food is good and creative. The prices are Hamburg level but not exorbitant! When it comes to open wine, I can particularly recommend the red wine - Primitivo! Extremely round and at 9 euros not too expensive.

I have been to this restaurant many times, including in the last week. The service is consistent, friendly and accommodating. The food has always been fresh and well thought out. The changing lunch menu is definitely highly recommended!

We sat on the terrace on a cozy summer evening and enjoyed the delicious food and the really outstanding, professional and funny (I just say spaghetti ice cream) service. But I have to deduct one star for the unfortunately outrageously high drink prices.

Very tasty food. Great dishes and great changing lunch menu. On previous visits, the service hasn't been as warm and relaxed as, for example, at Herzstück (also from the same owner), but the cuisine here is a bit stronger. The atmosphere is more suitable for business lunches and dinners for adults. All in all, a good place if you want to eat exceptionally good food.

The food here never disappoints and the vibe is easygoing! The schnitzel is especially nice and you can see that it’s freshly made (there is just more to be desired from the cucumber salad it comes with).

The food was excellent, the service humorous and down-to-earth, honest. Despite there being no more seats available in the restaurant for guests without a reservation, the service was immediate and incredibly friendly. Even though it was a while ago, writing a good review stayed in my head for months. Thank you for your good seasonal regional cuisine.

Soooo beautiful! My comrades found it “too” expensive. I have to disagree with that. Of course, as a student I wouldn't have been able to afford that. But this quality in anything other than homeopathic portions is an almost astonishing price-performance phenomenon: the beef comes not only from extremely species-appropriate husbandry, but also from slaughter. Very transparent to read on the website. Finally a restaurant where I can eat tartare without having to eat animal torture! That alone justifies prices that are more than fair given the real quantities. Plus a service that perfectly strikes the balance between courteous and reserved. The ambience is stylish, but still warm and cozy. I was amazed: a ray of hope in the culinary desert of Hamburg. Not fancy, but love and art - a little France, only much cheaper in comparison 😀

I'm happy to give this restaurant a full 5 out of 5 stars. My visit here was a thoroughly positive experience. What particularly stood out was the extraordinary friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. They really went out of their way to give each guest individual attention, which contributed to a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Wir saßen draußen zum Mittagstisch. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Wein gut gekühlt und der Service dezent, aber immer da.

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir Gäste und schätzen den erstklassigen Service und die Qualität der Speisen sehr. Eine Empfehlung!

Fleisch, Fisch und Geflügel sind in diesem Restaurant von hervorragender Qualität. Der Service ist perfekt und ein Besuch dort ist schlemmen auf hohem Niveau zu moderaten Preisen. Das Tartar dort ist zum Niederknien. Und die Pommes mit Trüffel Mayonnaise sind so gut! Aber schaut selbst vorbei. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Leider kann ich für essen und Service nur jeweils 5 Punkte vergeben. Die Hochzeit die wir am 9.9.23 bei den Küchen Freunden feiern durften war ein absolutes Fest der Königsklasse. Das Essen und der Service war unglaublich gut bei 30 Grad im Schatten waren die Service Kräfte über Stunden liebevoll um jeden Gast (30 Grad) bemüht. Das Essen war unglaublich lecker 😋 man kann es nicht beschreiben, man muss es erleben. Mein besonderer Dank gilt Melanie und Chef Hannes. Amazing food, great and super friendly service! 💚 Fair prices comparing to the service they provide. I liked how they immediately switched to English when they realise that I wasn’t German.

Wir hatten über OpenTable reserviert für 20 Uhr, 4 Personen. Kellner meinte vor dem vollen Restaurant das würde nicht stimmen, er hätte nur eine Reservierung für 2 Personen auf unseren Namen … als ich ihm gezeigt hatte das wir korrekt für 4 Personen reserviert haben, meinte er wir hätten angerufen und für 2 Personen reserviert. Als ich ihm gesagt hatte das das nicht stimmt und ich dort nie angerufen hatte, behauptet er das Gegenteil. Als ich ihm nach 10 Minuten das Gegenteil bewiesen hatte, war der Tisch dann doch reserviert …. Sehr skurril 😤 der Service war ziemlich langsam und immer eine Spur arrogant und eingebildet obwohl wir Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Nachtisch sowie zahlreiche Getränke konsumiert hatten- wir sind oft in HH und haben am Morgen noch im Schwesterrestaurant in St Georg gefrühstückt- sorry das brauchen wir nicht mehr und in Summe nicht zu empfehlen

Alles super ........nur die Begrenzung auf 2 Stunden "Tischzeit" ist nicht so schön........Man traut sich gar nicht 3 Gänge zu bestellen weil man ja nicht im Schnellgang alles in sich "reinschauffeln" will.

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend da. Die Qualität des Essens war nicht so gut. Der Kellner war freundlich. Aber wir haben das Essen zu spät bekommen und sofort nach dem Essen haben wir die Rechnung bekommen, ohne danach gefragt zu haben, denn wir wollten noch Nachtisch bestellen. Also quasi rausgeschmissen. Den Nachtisch hatten wir dann in einem anderen Laden. Das war keine schöne Erfahrung, obwohl wir in diesem Lokal 200€ für drei Personen ausgegeben haben. Durchweg ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr netten Personal und einem qualitativ hochwertigen und leckeren Essen! Bin wirklich sehr positiv überrascht und kann es mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Zuerst mögen die Portionen vielleicht etwas klein erscheinen, aber es reicht absolut zum satt werden.

Es ist immer wieder erstaunlich, wie es den Küchenfreunden beim Mittagstisch gelingt, bieder klingende Gerichte in einer optisch und geschmacklich überzeugenden Weise umzusetzen. Das ist wirklich Klasse!

Schönes Lokal mit super netten Service. Die verarbeiteten Produkte kommen von lokalen Bauernhöfen, was sich auch im Preis spiegelt. Ich empfehle anzurufen und zu reservieren, da zumeist alles ausgebucht ist. Die Karte ist übersichtlich aber trotzdem vielschichtig. Leider hatten wir Pech, wir sind extra wegen dem Wiener Schnitzel gekommen, das leider furztrocken war und mit in Fett triefend Bratkartoffeln serviert wurde. Mag sein, das es einfach nur der falsche Tag war, den alle anderen Gäste schienen glücklich und zufrieden zu sein. Am Ende hat unser großartiger Gastgeber alles rausgerissen, es war ein toller Abend auch, das Essen nur gerade so OK war. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich war heute zu dritt hier. Und ich habe lange nicht so schönes Essen gehabt, so dermaßen lecker ! Und meine Freunde waren auch begeistert. Ich hatte von ihnen schon vernommen, das sie hier unbedingt wiederkommen wollen....ich natürlich auch ! Übrigens zum Preis, eigentlich müsste ich 50-60 angeben, weil es mit Vorspeise wieder teurer wird (diesmal hatte ich keine gehabt) - sollen laut meinen Freunden aber sehr lecker gewesen sein.

Es war alles Klasse und ein toller Abend , es gibt echt nichts zu sagen .Wir waren mit 12 Freunden bei den Küchenfreunden und waren alle sehr zufrieden, und das bei 12 Leuten. Wir hatten durch die Bank weg alle Gerichte und alle fanden es ausnahmslos 👍 gut . LG. Marcus

Was gibt es zu den fünf Sternen noch zu schreiben. Die Essen waren alle lecker und auf den Punkt gebracht. Die Bedienung war immer zur Stelle. Das Ambiente war super. Wir werden beim nächsten Mal wieder vorbeischauen.

Wir waren zum Abendessen da und es war seit langem mal wieder eine rundum zufriedenstellende Erfahrung. Der Service war top und schnell, obwohl es voll war und in meinem Empfinden nicht viele Servicekräfte im Einsatz waren. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Dessert habe ich fast nicht geschafft! Und die Atmosphäre ist sehr schön. Sehr, sehr gerne wieder.

Wir hatten bei den "Küchenfreunden" einen richtig schönen Abend. Das Menü zu Sylvester war ein "Gedicht"! Einfallsreich, geschmackvoll, anders und besonders! Von der Vorsuppe über die Jacobsmuscheln, den Tafelspitz und die Nachspeise war alles hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiterin - Madita - war unglaublich aufmerksam, höflich und motiviert. Es war ein sehr schöner Abschied des alten Jahres und ein super Start ins neue Jahr! Wir kommen gerne wieder! 👍
