Restaurant Bamiyan in Hamburg

Das Essen war insgesamt gut und geschmacklich absolut in Ordnung. Leider hat der Besuch trotzdem keinen besonders angenehmen Eindruck hinterlassen. Das größte Problem war die extrem laute Musik. Eine Unterhaltung am Tisch war kaum möglich und man konnte sich nach einem stressigen Tag überhaupt nicht entspannen. Wir haben das Personal sogar darauf angesprochen. Die Musik wurde zwar etwas leiser gestellt, war aber immer noch viel zu laut. Außerdem haben wir uns beim Betreten des Restaurants nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Man wird kaum wahrgenommen, bekommt keinen Platz angeboten und muss sich selbst bemerkbar machen. Insgesamt wirkte der Service eher unaufmerksam. Außerdem schaut auch , dass ihr nur soviel bezahlt wie ihr gegessen habt. Am Ende nochmal Rechnung überprüfen .

Wir sind mit meiner Familie von weit her angereist, um im Restaurant Bamyan zu essen – einem Ort, an dem wir Ruhe finden und das Essen genießen wollten. Haben wir uns da getäuscht? Tatsächlich handelt es sich nicht um ein Restaurant, sondern um einen ohrenbetäubenden, lauten Musikclub, der die friedliche Atmosphäre völlig zerstört. Ich frage mich, ob die Pflicht eines Restaurants darin besteht, seinen Gästen gutes Essen, eine entspannte Atmosphäre und ein herzliches Miteinander zu bieten oder Musik über Lautsprecher zu beschallen. Es wäre gut, sich an den Gepflogenheiten von Restaurantbesitzern anderer Kulturen zu orientieren. Vor dem Essen verließen wir das Restaurant und gingen in das türkische Restaurant Adneh, wo wir in ruhiger Atmosphäre herzlich empfangen wurden. Ich hoffe, die Verantwortlichen des Restaurants Bamyan nehmen dies zur Kenntnis.

Als erstes möchte ich die Möbel erwähnen, die für ein Restaurant unbequem waren und anders aussahen als auf den Bildern. Außerdem war es dort kalt! Ich bestellte Kebab Kubideh mit Reis. Das Essen war in Ordnung und die Bedienung schnell. Es gab kostenlos Tee und Kamut (eine kleine Süßigkeit), was sehr nett war.

Habe eben höflich gefragt ob ich mal kurz auf Toilette dürfte. Kam direkt „leider nur für Gäste". Kein einziger Gast im Laden. Hab nochmal freundlich nachgehakt - nix. Nicht rein gelassen. Abgewiesen. Ich war nett - die nicht. Schade. Bei leeren Restaurant echt keine große Sache, aber gut. Hatte eigentlich vor mal mit paar Leuten hier hin zu gehen. Abgehakt… Falls Ihr mal in der Situation seid - rüber zu Döner Time. Solides Essen, nette Leute und super gastfreundlich. Toilette is übrigens umsonst dort. Für jede(n).

Super lecker und sehr schön ich würde es jeden Tag nochmal essen 10/10

Heute waren ich und meine Freunde zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Wir haben Kebab, Hähnchen und Reis bestellt. Leider waren wir mit der Qualität des Essens und dem Service nicht zufrieden. Der Reis war viel zu ölig und auf dem Teller war sehr viel Öl. Das Fleisch war unserer Meinung nach nicht richtig durchgegart. Für den Ayran wurde uns ein höherer Preis berechnet als in der Speisekarte angegeben, und er hat überhaupt nicht nach Ayran geschmeckt. Außerdem mussten wir ungefähr 40 Minuten auf unsere Bestellung warten. Bei dem Preis, den wir bezahlt haben, haben wir eine bessere Qualität und einen besseren Service erwartet. Leider war dies unser erstes und zugleich letztes Mal in diesem Restaurant. Wir können es anderen nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren rundum begeistert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet – frisch, lecker und schön angerichtet. Auch das Ambiente hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war top und wir kommen gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!

Mega gutes Essen. Reichlich und Geschmacklich sehr gut. Zum Nachtisch afghanisches Eis war sehr lecker. Wer den Rauch von Shisha im Garten liebt, wird sich in dieser Oase auch bei Regenwetter wohlfühlen, wo es auch sehr schöne überdachte Plätze gibt.

Leider war ich diesmal sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen (Kabuli Palaw) und der Salat waren nicht mehr so frisch und ordentlich wie früher. Außerdem war die Toilette unglaublich dreckig und unhygienisch. Auch das Personal war leider unfreundlich. Früher war das Restaurant deutlich besser!!! Ich hoffe, dass sich das wieder verbessert.

Ich war vor Kurzem in Ihrem Restaurant in Hamburg und habe „Kabab Loghme Safrani“ mit Reis sowie Tee bestellt. Zunächst möchte ich sagen, dass ich das Lokal sehr schön und stilvoll finde. Ich kenne den Besitzer auch indirekt noch aus früheren Zeiten, als er ein Autohaus hatte – deshalb hatte ich eine entsprechend positive Erwartung. Umso enttäuschter war ich vom Essen. Das Fleisch bestand leider größtenteils aus Fett und war kaum essbar. Das entspricht nicht der Qualität, die ich bei diesem Gericht erwartet hätte. Als wir das angesprochen haben, kam lediglich eine kurze Entschuldigung, jedoch keine weitere Lösung oder ein Entgegenkommen. Besonders unangenehm fand ich die Situation danach: Obwohl ich bereits bezahlt hatte, wurde ich am Tisch gefragt, ob die Rechnung beglichen ist. Meiner Meinung nach hätte man zunächst intern beim Mitarbeiter nachfragen sollen, bevor man den Gast darauf anspricht. Das wirkte auf mich unhöflich und etwas misstrauisch. Insgesamt bin ich daher enttäuscht – sowohl von der Qualität des Essens als auch vom Umgang mit der Situation. Gerade wegen meiner positiven Erwartungen hat mich das überrascht. Ich hoffe, dass dieses Feedback dazu beiträgt, den Service und die Qualität künftig zu verbessern.

Wir waren gestern Abend dort. Leider hat es in dem Bereich, in dem wir saßen, sehr unangenehm gerochen, vermutlich weil das WC defekt war. Dadurch war es kaum möglich, länger sitzen zu bleiben. Auch das Essen hat uns leider nicht überzeugt, besonders das Fleisch war von schlechter Qualität und der Reis war schlecht gekocht. Insgesamt waren wir sehr enttäuscht, da wir uns deutlich mehr erwartet hatten. Für uns steht fest, dass wir dort nicht noch einmal essen gehen werden.

I was truly shocked by my visit. The food was already rather mediocre, but the worst part was that the prices on the bill didn't match the prices listed on the menu. It seemed to me that they simply added extra charges without any prior notification. When I inquired about it, I received only evasive answers – completely unprofessional and, in my opinion, extremely unfriendly. The whole experience just doesn't inspire confidence. I will certainly not be returning to this restaurant and, based on my experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend it at all.

Their service was not good. The kabab was tasty and the other dishes did not taste Afghan at all.

We ordered through Wolt, and within just one week we ended up ordering three times because the meat was that delicious. The meat is excellent — flavorful, tender, and it really melts in your mouth. The Qabuli basmati rice was also delicious and perfectly cooked. The Sikh Kabab was a standout; the balance of the meat and fat gave it an amazing taste. Overall, an outstanding experience every time!

We've been to the Bamiyan restaurant several times with friends and family, but unfortunately, we're not satisfied with the service. The staff are very slow and rude when you say something critical. The prices also don't match the menu—there are differences of €20 to €50. Once, our meal was supposed to cost around €100, but we were charged €150. I'd like to ask if you also pay extra for seating, or why there are such big differences.

I was very dissatisfied with this restaurant. The food was old and didn't taste fresh at all. The staff behaved disrespectfully—they talked and laughed loudly among themselves while guests were sitting in the restaurant. No one asked if you needed anything or if everything was okay. In addition, the restaurant smelled very unpleasant, the floor was damaged, and the carpet was dirty. Overall, the restaurant gave a very unkempt impression. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

I totally recommend this restaurant! I've been there for dinner with friends the food was absolutely delicious (as well as the çay 😋🤍). The atmosphere was beatuiful and relaxing, with lovely decor that made the whole experience even better 🤍 As for the service I'd give more than 5 stars if I could! ⭐️🩷 - the girl working there was incredibly kind and attentive to details 🤍✨️ We had such a wonderful time and will definitly be visiting Bamiyan again 🤍✨️

We were extremely disappointed with our visit to Bamiyan Restaurant in Hamburg. The food served was clearly leftover and far from fresh, which is both unhygienic and unacceptable. It was honestly disgusting and left us with a very bad impression. We spent almost 70 Euros, not including taxi costs, expecting a quality dining experience – instead, we left feeling completely let down. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for clean, fresh, and properly prepared food. This was a complete waste of money and a major disappointment.

Yesterday, 20 of us were at Bamiyan and had a truly lovely evening. The food was truly excellent—fresh, delicious, and everyone found something to their liking. The service was super friendly and attentive, even though there were quite a few of us. You could tell the team was making an effort. We felt at home and would definitely come back!

Very disappointing visit - won't be back Today we had lunch at the Bamiyan Restaurant in Hamburg around 1:00 p.m. Unfortunately, this time the visit was a complete disappointment - completely different from my first time in the evening, when the boss was there and everything went well. The service today was chaotic: • Long waiting time • Wrong order taken and wrong food delivered • The waiter just said, “Well, I did it wrong.” – without apology or solution • No written invoice, just a verbal amount of €53 – no transparency at all About the food itself: • Qabuli Palau was old and dry, without carrots and raisins - i.e. without the main ingredients • For the second dish we ordered “Bamiyan Mix Grill”, but only got lamb skewers – we still paid the full price It's a shame that the whole restaurant loses quality due to inattentive staff. Something like this shouldn't happen - especially not at these prices.

Unfortunately the visit was disappointing. Right at the beginning, only a tiny portion of cheese with a few herbs was served for four people - that was more embarrassing than a welcome greeting. The main courses were also too few for four people and the service was very weak. Not recommended.

We drove to Hamburg over the weekend and this restaurant was our first stop after a 6 hour drive. It was super tasty, all the staff were very polite and, above all, it was very clean. Since we came exactly at opening time, we didn't have to wait or make a reservation at all. We'd love to come back.

I briefly asked if I could use the toilet and that I wasn't familiar with the area and was coldly sent away. If a bum comes in and wants to go to the toilet, I can still understand why someone would say no. But when a normal young woman comes in and denies such a basic need is disgusting. The store made a really bad impression.

The service was friendly and the food came quickly. The portion was very small, the plate was only the size of a breakfast plate. The eggplant was mushy, there were only three (!) small pieces of meat for 17 euros. There was also a plate of rice as much as the main course. That was nothing!

The cheapest restaurant in Hamburg... there were about 8 people there to eat, the very evening of the day everyone felt sick and had nausea, diarrhea, etc... the rice with meat (Kabuli Palaw) was out of date and I don't know when it was, it was definitely from the day before, so there's no way it's cooked fresh every day... I recommend you not to waste money and risk your health... Never again 👎👎👎👎

The decor is amazing and adds to the authenticity of the place. The customer service was excellent—the young lady at the entrance welcomed guests with great respect, and the waitstaff were professional and attentive. Their warm hospitality made the experience even better. However, the food could use some improvement. The Kashk-e-Bademjan was delicious and well-prepared, but the Bamiyan mixed dish was underwhelming. While the lamb cutlet was decent, the rest of the dish was not cooked well. The rice seemed to be only briefly boiled, lacked salt, and overall was quite bland. The entire dish was missing the necessary spices to bring out the flavors, making it feel overpriced for the quality. Additionally, I found it disappointing that the waitstaff approached my table asking for the bill to be paid while I was still drinking my tea. This felt rushed and took away from the dining experience. Overall, while the atmosphere and service were great, the food quality and dining experience need some improvement for the price point.

A wonderful experience at Bamiyan Restaurant! The atmosphere is very inviting and authentic, which immediately creates a special atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, you feel well looked after. The food is simply outstanding – the flavors are intense and fresh, and every dish is prepared with great attention to detail. I particularly liked the Afghan specialties. If you are looking for a taste journey, you have definitely come to the right place.

Afghan restaurant with traditional cuisine and grill. Nicely decorated restaurant, and in summer you can sit outside in a secluded outdoor area. As a starter I had Chatni, vegetables pickled in vinegar and slightly spicy with herbs. For the main course I had Halifa, lamb skewer pieces on eggplant puree with flatbread and rice. The lamb was fried to perfection, I would have liked a little sauce for the rice as it was a bit dry. The food was very tasty and there are many other good dishes on the menu. The service was extremely friendly and I can recommend the restaurant!

The service was really bad. Long waiting times. You are ignored. My food didn't come until 20 minutes after the rest of the people had eaten. Then it was the wrong one and it wasn't even warm anymore. Ordering more drinks was almost impossible. The food was ok, but definitely not appropriate for the price. I can't recommend dishes with rice because you just end up with a huge portion of unseasoned dry rice.

Good day, I've eaten Persian minced skewers all my life and I've eaten them everywhere in Hamburg. , I thought to myself today I'm going to eat bamiyan, when I came in there was no requirement, I wanted to sit by the window but the waiter insisted that I have to sit somewhere else because the 4 seater table was too big for me, we then ordered food a cubic plate wait time bite it comes 20 minutes eat really cold I started eating and straight away I had a glass piece in my mouth, I spit it straight out I wouldn't have noticed I don't want to know what would happen then would , I said that to the waiter, then the boss came, very unfriendly, touched me on his shoulders and pressed me to be quiet and that something like that can happen at such a price that is unimaginable for a little bit. Rice that is cold, the boss said to go outside and outside he said that it could happen that there is a piece of glass inside

We were here on a Saturday afternoon. The service was VERY nice, friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty and also a lot. We had Quabuli. This is a pile of rice with raisins and carrots. Braised lamb is underneath the rice. It was very tasty. I've eaten this dish elsewhere before, but I liked it a bit better here. There is always a small bowl with this delicious spinach dish as standard. It was very tasty. I actually thought I didn't like it but I think I'll order it next time. We'll definitely be back.
