We had a delicious breakfast here! The service was warm and welcoming, and our waitress was so kind and helpful, she really set a positive mood for the rest of the day. The food was tasty with lots of options to choose from. Definitely recommend!

If you're wandering around Hamburg and your stomach starts making polite threats, KÖRRI is a decent pit stop—especially if the weather gods are being kind. We sat outside under the arch (yes, that one), which added a touch of charm and made it feel more like a casual city escape than just another place to eat. The atmosphere? Vibrant. Mostly because it was busy—not chaotic, but definitely not whisper-quiet either. Expect some hustle, which can be a good thing if you enjoy a bit of city buzz with your meal. It’s the kind of place where you hear snippets of five different languages and someone’s dog might be better dressed than you. Food was... fine. Solid 7/10. Not bad, not life-changing, just reliable fuel. You're probably not going to dream about it later, but you also won't regret ordering it. Staff were friendly enough but catching their attention sometimes felt like trying to flag down a taxi in the rain. Not rude, just spread a bit thin. Patience helps. Pro tip: If the weather’s good, definitely aim for a seat outside. The indoor vibe is okay, but that arch really does most of the heavy lifting in the ambiance department. In summary: good spot for a casual bite with a lively setting. Just don’t come expecting fine dining or lightning-fast service.

A great buffet in the center of Hamburg

I was here on Wednesday, August 20th, with a group of 10 people. Two of us were quite "extroverted," so to speak. As a group, we certainly weren't easy, and I apologize for that. Our server, however, remained calm. All drinks and food arrived promptly, and nothing was left out. Everything tasted excellent, too. The Irish in our group confirmed that the fish and chips were better than they'd get back home.

I was at Körri and was very impressed by the ambiance inside. It's also cozy outside, with atmospheric lighting in the evenings. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is truly excellent. It's great value for money. I'll be back, since it's only a stone's throw (or two) from the main train station 😉🔥

We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The dishes were superbly seasoned and very creatively prepared – you can immediately tell that the food here is cooked with great attention to detail. The service was also attentive, prompt, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. We particularly liked the relaxed atmosphere, which made the visit all around pleasant. For us, this is definitely a place we would happily recommend and will definitely visit again.

No one is friendly. I asked to eat there and she wanted to serve me in a plastic dish when there were ceramic dishes provided for meals there. I am disgusted by their behavior.

I met up with friends for brunch. The selection of hot and cold dishes is extensive. Unfortunately, the noise level was very high, making conversation difficult.

We were there for lunch during the week. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious. The service staff was friendly. Over the years, Körri has raised its lunch prices significantly, so that most of the lunch menu is between €15 and €20, which I find quite ambitious. Therefore, one star deducted; there are good and cheaper alternatives around the corner.

A great experience here as a larger group. We all enjoyed the service, food, and drinks.

The food was very good. The service started off well. However, we had to wait a very long time for our dishes. Once we were finished, no one came to clear the table or offer us dessert — even after we had waited at least 20 minutes. The staff seemed more focused on clearing tables from guests who had already left. That was a shame, especially as we were among the last customers in the restaurant. We ended up leaving on our own, without ordering dessert, and with regret.

Unique and a great experience, we will definitely come back 🙂

Delicious currywurst and fast service

The food was very good, beautifully presented, and served quickly. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with any questions. The restaurant itself is very chic and modern and also has an outdoor area. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit, and I would recommend it again and again!

Me and my friends were searching for hours upon hours until we stumbled upon this place bestowed upon us by the gods themselves. I ordered the luxurious curry-wurst with Japaleños along with a cheese pasta and the housebeer. Even better when i lifted the potato bowl to find a peculiar, umami filled, succulent piece of almond paste. I must admit that I, an experienced eater, have never felt such satisfaction and I leave this restaurant with an everlasting reverance towards the chef.

We've been to Körri at least four times now. The atmosphere and food are great every time. On June 7, 2025, we were here with a family of eight. The food arrived at the same time, was hot, and, as always, very tasty. However, we probably could have had three or four more drinks if the staff hadn't been so busy chatting behind the cash register. In general, the staff that evening seemed to only respond to shouts.

Four of us went there for dinner on July 4, 2025, and unfortunately, we weren't satisfied in the end. The staff was friendly, but not attentive. We had to wait about 45 minutes between the appetizer and main course, and unfortunately, no one came to our table to take our dessert orders. The meat in the burger was unfortunately flavorless. Given the prices, I expected better. We won't be eating there again.

The brunch I attended on Sunday at Körri Speisekontor was consistently excellent! A very nice restaurant with lots of charm, a cozy, yet sophisticated atmosphere. Another plus point is the beautiful (partially covered) outdoor area. I received a warm welcome and was escorted to my table. The senior manager himself then showed me around, showed me the buffet, and shared a bit about his past (which I found very entertaining and interesting). The food (see pictures) left little to be desired, in my opinion. Those who wanted could also order various coffee specialties, which were included in the price. There were various flavored waters, teas, and homemade iced tea, as well as milk, lactose-free milk, and oat milk. The buffet itself, as mentioned, was beautifully presented, extremely extensive, and always quickly replenished. Everything was available, from salads to fish, poultry, and meat, as well as a great selection of desserts. €42 isn't cheap, but for the service, the ambiance, and the dishes offered, I think the price is absolutely reasonable and just right. I would definitely recommend the brunch and would definitely visit again. Thank you for everything! Best regards

Wir waren mal wieder mit der ganzen Familie zum Brunch im Körri Speisekontor – und wie immer war es einfach großartig! Ich bin regelmäßig dort, ob zum Brunch oder auch mal abends zum Essen, und jedes Mal überzeugt mich das Restaurant aufs Neue. Die Qualität der Speisen ist durchgehend hervorragend – frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und mit einer tollen Auswahl, die sowohl Klassiker als auch kreative Überraschungen bietet. Besonders beim Brunch merkt man, wie viel Wert hier auf Vielfalt und Geschmack gelegt wird. Das Personal ist immer aufmerksam, freundlich und herzlich. Man fühlt sich willkommen und bestens betreut – auch mit Kindern! Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gemütlich zugleich. Modern, aber mit Charakter – perfekt für ein entspanntes Familienessen oder einen besonderen Anlass. Für mich ganz klar: 5 von 5 Punkten. Wer in Hamburg gut essen möchte, sollte sich das Körri Speisekontor nicht entgehen lassen!

We waited 20 minutes for drinks, never again. The store wasn't even half full!

Good food, but service could have been better The Wiener Schnitzel was really good – nice and tender and flavorful. Unfortunately, the "crispy fried potatoes" were rather soft and could definitely have been crispier. The cocktail menu was also somewhat disappointing: The menu explicitly states that you can request a cocktail – but when I did, I was met with a curt "Not available." This could have been communicated more cordially or at least more explanatory. Overall, though, a solid meal and a nice atmosphere – with a little more attention to detail in the service, it would have been perfect.

Ich war jetzt mehrfach zum Brunch und auch im normalen Restaurant Betrieb im Körri und ich muss einfach sagen, dass es immer wieder toll ist. Vor Allem der Brunch überzeugt einfach jedes Mal erneut durch beste Qualität und viel Liebe zum Detail. Auf den ersten Blick sehr hochpreisig, wenn man aber bedenkt dass sämtliche und umfangreiche Kaffeespezialitäten, sowie auch Softdrinks inclusive sehr hochwertiger Säfte mit im Preis enthalten sind, ist es am Ende günstiger, als wenn der Grundpreis günstiger ist, man aber alle Getränke extra zahlen muss. Auch das Personal überzeugt immer wieder durch Aufmerksamkeit und Witz. Wenn dann auch noch der Vater des Inhabers im Hause ist, dann ist Comedy und ein Hamburger Spruch garantiert. Immer wieder sage ich, dass ich noch nie so gut brunchen war. Ich komme immer wieder und fahre dafür auch gerne eine Stunde.

Das Brunchbuffet ist phänomenal lecker und unschlagbar in der Vielfalt und dem gesamten Angebot! Wirklich ALLES schmeckt lecker, ist frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet! Es bleiben wirklich keine Wünsche offen und ich bin der Meinung dass hier wirklich jeder etwas findet und satt wird! Von süßen kleinen Speisen, Frischem Obst, Salaten, frisch gebackenem Brot, Brötchen und Crossiants sowie wechselnden herzhaften Speisen und dem obligatorischen Rührei+Spiegelei mit Würstchen und Speck. Das Personal ist ebenfalls ein Traum! Man fühlt sich direkt wohl und wie zu Hause, man wird quasi für den Moment ein Teil der Körri Familie. Immer gut gelaunt, ein Lächeln im Gesicht und das auch bei hoher Gästezahl! Oftmals ist ein frecher Spruch oder die gute Norddeutsche Art mit am Start und Runden den absolut perfekten Service ab! Die Küche ist super schnell im nachfüllen der Speisen und hilft bei Fragen direkt weiter! Und ein letztes Hoch und Danke geht an den Senior! Wie viel Freundlichkeit und Liebe kann in einem einzelnen Menschen stecken? So ein herzlicher Mensch!!! Tausend Dank für jeden Spruch und jedes Gespräch! Es ist absolut perfekt bei euch!

A truly fantastic brunch, with a huge selection of hot and cold dishes, everything your heart desires. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The roast beef was so tender, and all the desserts were delicious. Drinks, including specialty coffees and juice, were all included. Although the restaurant was half empty when we arrived, we were immediately kicked out with the words "no reservation, no seat." The fact that reservations are apparently required isn't mentioned on the website, and there were no tables with reserved signs...a strange place with an interesting approach to service. We therefore advise against a visit (especially if you're just walking by).

A group of 20 of us ate here for dinner. We couldn't order à la carte, but had to choose a set menu. For €35, I received the following: bread that was no longer fresh with whipped butter, a small plate of pasta with a thin truffle flavor in a lackluster sauce, dry slices of fried chicken breast, and a carelessly arranged pile of cinnamon cream for dessert. The food was prepared without flavor, and the chef either had no love for his job or no budget. Perhaps it was simply conceived, but unfortunately, it wasn't always good. A set menu is usually intended to make life easier for the kitchen during busy times. Why we had to wait 45 minutes for this meal is beyond comprehension. When I asked if I could swap an ingredient in a dish, the waiter spoke to me rudely and unfriendly. At the other large tables around us, this didn't seem to be a problem; the schnitzels and burgers on their plates were twice as large as ours. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant.

After such a great review, I expected much better food. We also waited 45 minutes for the food. The food selection is simple, and the quality is just average. My biggest surprise was that I was charged an approximate price without being given a bill. I didn't have time to discuss it then."

Very good restaurant. We were there for brunch. It was absolutely fantastic. They really have everything you could possibly want. Even though the price might seem high, the quality is top-notch and the service is plentiful. Reservations are highly recommended if you don't want to sit outside. I'd even give it 6 stars.

The atmosphere is really cozy. The food and drinks were also delicious and visually great. Unfortunately, the service didn't seem particularly motivated, we sat for quite a long time in front of empty glasses and plates. And we always had to wave someone over to order, which is a shame and makes the overall experience worse. The last round was announced at 10 p.m. even though the opening times are advertised on the homepage as 1:00 a.m. That was one of the reasons why we chose Körri, we wanted to celebrate a birthday. We were all the more disappointed that we were thrown out at 11 p.m. So we had to look for another location. We were really happy and unfortunately we were disappointed. We would have liked to drink more and also have dessert, it's a shame such evenings in this group are very rare for us as mothers, which makes us all the more disappointed with this evening. Luckily we were able to find a location where we were welcome and could still celebrate.

If we didn't live 500km away, this restaurant would 100% be our favorite. Here everything we want in terms of quality, cleanliness, service, atmosphere, customer orientation and presentation of the food comes TRUE. We reserved GSD for 6 people at 4 p.m. before our musical visit. When we entered the restaurant, we first saw the beautiful ambience with the tasteful interior and immediately felt at home. It was clean, tidy and very cozy with warm lighting. We were greeted warmly and only ordered two starters, all the others only main courses. The 4 of us quickly regretted that without starters, when the tomato cream soup came, the whole table smelled fruity of fresh tomatoes and basil, so delicious that we were all happy about the presentation of the soup. Then our main courses came and they were all just as beautiful, tasty and perfectly presented, kudos to the kitchen :-) We only ordered two desserts and managed them and our clear favorite was the Franzbrötchen Tiramisu. The portions are very good and well prepared, this restaurant has 10 out of 10 stars for us and we will definitely come back the next time we visit Hamburg because we enjoyed this atmosphere so much and all our friends know how demanding we are :-) that we can only rave about it...

It’s the worst schinitzel I ‘ve ever eaten

We went to Körri for brunch again today and, as we are used to, the buffet was laid out with a lot of love. A very large selection of cold and warm dishes, the high quality of the dishes is evident. There is something for every taste and, above all, there is a wide range on offer. The atmosphere invites you to linger and the staff is warm and attentive. Thank you very much for the successful brunch with you, always happy and absolutely recommended 🌻

Wir haben den Frühstücksbrunch besucht und waren von der Vielfalt der angebotenen Speisen äußerst beeindruckt. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die verschiedenen Fischvariationen sowie das exzellent zubereitete Vitello Tonnato. Das Personal überzeugte durch Freundlichkeit und aufmerksamen Service. Die Qualität der Speisen war durchweg hervorragend – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We were able to spend a wonderful Sunday at the KÖRRI SPEISEKONTOR in Hamburg. Even the reservation by email was completely uncomplicated - and you should definitely do that, because the brunch is in great demand! We were warmly welcomed on site and immediately felt at home in the cozy Hanseatic atmosphere. The brunch buffet was a real highlight: a huge selection of lovingly prepared dishes, all of excellent quality. What was particularly pleasant was that the food was always attentively refilled - so we were able to enjoy the brunch to the fullest, without any rush or empty plates. A perfect place for a relaxed start to your Sunday. We were thrilled and will definitely come back when we are in Hamburg again.

That was delicious. The brunch includes everything you could wish for. And it tastes better than your run-of-the-mill brunch. Large selection from chocolate fountains to the great avocado and rocket salad to various fillets. Very friendly staff too. Yes, it's not a bargain. However, a large selection of drinks is included. We made a reservation at short notice and therefore only had a table with bar stools. I'd love to come back.

Saturday late afternoon, wonderful weather and we wanted something to eat in the nice outdoor area of ​​the Körri. Although there were employees outside, no one thought it necessary to welcome us. Since 90% of the carpentry was there, there was no sign at the entrance saying "You will be seated" and there was no reserved sign on any table, we sat down. This was noticed, but no one came anyway. I then went to the toilet and when I came back there was still no one at our table, so I somehow have menus grabbed, told a waitress that I was taking cards myself and showed her that we were sitting outside, which she acknowledged with a nice "OK, I'd be happy." When her colleague came out after 5 minutes, my husband called out to him and was told "You're still looking anyway." When we pointed out that we would like to order something to drink, he became mushy and snapped at us "First they ask if you're even allowed to sit down"... Huh, who? For Nobody felt responsible for newly arriving guests and if you don't want them to just sit down somewhere, then put up a sign or take care of it when you see them come in. Either way, it doesn't matter whether the food tastes good, it is and remains a currywurst and for all that money we will eat somewhere else in the future without having to be yelled at by a bad-tempered waiter

We went to the KÖRRI dining office for brunch and were simply thrilled: large selection of cold and warm dishes, everything beautifully presented, friendly service and a nice boss who makes sure that you don't miss anything. Our dog was also very welcome.

Der Brunch wirkt vielleicht mit 42 € etwas teurer, aber was einem geboten wird, ist wirklich großartig. Natürlich findet man die Dinge eines klassischen Frühstücks, wie Käse, Wurst oder Fisch und diverse Aufstriche. Die Auswahl an warmen Speisen war für mich ein Highlight und geht über Kartoffelgratin bis zur Entenbrust. Dabei überzeugt neben der Auswahl auch die Qualität. Wer zum Abschluss noch etwas Süßes möchte, kann u.a. zwischen Franzbrötchen, Pastéis de Nata oder Crème Brûlée wählen. Neben dem Essen sind zudem diverse Getränke (Saft, Kaffe, Wasser, Tee) inklusive. Zusätzlich ist das Personal noch super nett.

However, when you put it in the context of the price quoted, I unfortunately find it too expensive. Unfortunately, the central location probably ensures this. Unfortunately, it's also a shame that for groups of more than 10 people you get an extra menu that is significantly more slimmed down than the normal one and you are not informed of this when making your reservation. Overall okay, but not a repeat offender.

Creme brûlée was delicious as well, maybe not the best but the presentation was good. This place looks also very accommodative for big groups. I recommend to make a reservation though, it was packed on a Thursday evening.

A rustic, standard restaurant. The food was good, and so was the service. However, the portions were far too generous. I understand that a restaurateur never wants to serve too little, but we were a group of 13 people, and apart from one, no one was able to finish their portion.

Never experienced a brunch of this magnitude... everything your heart desires, and the rather high price is reasonable... only the noisy environment wasn't entirely pleasant. But at a buffet, a certain amount of unrest is somewhat normal.
