Stedet virker ved første øjekast som et helt normalt döner sted, men det smagte helt fantastisk. Vi var mega overraskede. De laver deres eget kebab spyd og det kunne virkeligt smages.

This kebab is really outstanding! The bread is crispy and wonderfully soft at the same time, the sauce is perfectly balanced and the meat is simply phenomenal. The lamb is particularly recommended on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Despite slightly higher prices, the quality is worth every penny, supported by the friendly management of the owner. The only point of criticism is the simple ambience on site, but this does not detract from the taste experience. The opening hours from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. are also ideal for working people. You can either enjoy the kebab on site or take it with you. Overall, an absolute highlight! Unfortunately the lamb was sold out, but the chicken was also great.

One of the best kebab shops I have visited till this day. At first glance it doesn't look like a great place, but trust me once you start eating their kebabs you'll want more and more.

The kebab was very very tasty, even a fork so you could eat it. The salad was fresh and the meat was very tasty. The men at Kebab House made everyone feel like they were regular customers. The Croatian football fans - English speakers - were treated the same as everyone else in line. The only downer is that the kebab costs almost 10 euros, without aluminum foil or paper, just napkins around it.

Although I had high expectations, I was quite disappointed. Firstly, the prices for the kebab are significantly too high. For what you get, the price is not justified. The kebab itself was just average, neither particularly good nor particularly bad. There are many other kebab shops in the city that offer similar quality at a better price. Secondly, there is no option to sit and eat in the store. You have to stand outside, which is particularly uncomfortable on cold or rainy days. A comfortable seating area would definitely be a plus, which this store unfortunately doesn't offer. In summary, I cannot recommend this kebab shop. The kebab isn't bad, but it's too expensive and the lack of seating makes the overall experience unsatisfactory. There are better alternatives in the city.

Sooooooooo... Was there with my brother. The meat hanging on the skewer was definitely yaprak, however, I observed one thing that really disappointed me and turned the whole taste experience into a nightmare. The good man put frozen meat (probably from the day before) on the turntable of the kebab skewer and mixed it with the freshly cut meat. Unfortunately it was a disaster in terms of taste. Both were disappointed. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating and deserves my utmost respect because it takes a lot to treat every single customer like a king. Unfortunately, the product on offer, i.e. the kebab, did not convince us.

Really top top kebab in Hamburg but the prices are becoming more and more suspect. Charging €11.50 for a kebab with “extra meat” that is actually equivalent to a standard kebab is the finest satire. It's better to drive 300km further to Eddys, where you get twice as much for half the price and similar quality! HAS BEEN a regular customer for years A pity!!!

More like a 3.5. It definitely wasn't a bad kebab. But the best kebab according to social media? So there was very little meat and too much salad. Meat was cold. Too little sauce. It's a kebab in the middle. The innkeepers are nice and I find it difficult to criticize because I don't want to be disrespectful, but for €9.50 for a kebab the criticism has to be honest. I'd love to come back, maybe I had a day where it wasn't so good. If it is better next time, I will happily give it 4 stars.

The food is excellent, likely the best doner in town. The doner guy is also very friendly and tries (not always successfully) to remember your usual order. The only reason not 5 stars is the wait. If you go during the lunch hour rush, it can easily take 45min to get your food, even if there's only 4 or 5 people in front of you. But hey, slow food tastes better! ;-)

My husband and I recently visited the Kurtulan kebab shop and tried a veal kebab. It was simply delicious! I can say with confidence that it is the best kebab I have ever eaten in Hamburg. The meat was incredibly tender and the taste was simply unsurpassed. The seller was also super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be repeat customers!

The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the salad mix is ​​different but brilliant, the sauce is very tasty and perfectly portioned. And the meat is simply phenomenal and the quantity is generous! On Tuesdays and Thursdays there is lamb here (1€ extra), which I highly recommend. The prices here are also at a higher level, but given the quality offered, they are completely acceptable. The owner is very personable and accommodating, you can really tell that he runs the shop with passion. The location and opening times (Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.) are less aimed at casual walk-in customers; this is more of an insider tip. The only real point of criticism from my point of view is the ambience on site: the shop is very inconspicuous and sales only took place in front of the open window, so you had to either eat the kebab outside or take it with you. But that didn't affect the taste experience, which is why I'm happy to give it five stars in the overall rating and am already looking forward to the next visit!

But veal kebab also tastes incredibly good, because here you can get homemade Yaprak kebab (also chicken kebab). This is kebab craftsmanship!! I love this authentic taste. It looks inconspicuous, but that gives the whole thing even more charm. I had a chicken dürüm and it was one of the best dürüm I've ever had. The seller was so nice and just right character. You order at this small window and get your food quickly. Really great kebab here, I'll definitely visit there often!

Very tasty donner but a bit pricey!

I ordered 2 Lahmacun for which I paid 21 EUR(!) and when I came home I realised, that I got 2 Dürüm. The taste was fine but it wasn't the best I ever had. Only takeaway and you can't wait inside - which I wouldn't mind in the summer but waiting 10 min. in the freezing cold... Cash only, no cards, no PayPal etc. and you will hardly find a parking lot close by.

Hähnchendöner war sehr lecker, es hat an nichts gefehlt. 5/5 Sterne! Der Döner war sehr gut gefüllt und gestopft. Mit einem Preis von 9,50€ natürlich deutlich über dem Durchschnitt. Kein Vorort Verzehr möglich was es im Winter schwierig macht den Döner vor Ort warm zu verzehren. Inhaber äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das ist mit Abstand der beste Dönerladen in ganz Hamburg. Diese Qualität die das Fleisch und der Salat hat findet man sonst nirgendwo. Ich bin ein sehr sehr großer Fan und komme gerne von Bergedorf nur für den Döner dorthin.

Im Regen auf den Döner zu warten war nicht so schön. Der Döner war okay, denn ich mag Salat sehr gern, meinem Mann war es zu wenig Fleisch für den Preis. Mini Döner mit 7,50 und normaler 8,50 ist auch eher ein hoher Preis. Leider war das Brot so matschig, dass bei mir das Papier komplett fest klebte und ich so nur das halbe Brot essen konnte. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und hat alles wunschgemäß zubereitet

War zwei Tage hintereinander Döner essen. Der erste war richtig gut mit Kalbfleisch nur das Brot war bißchen zu kross. Am nächsten Tag hat ich ein mit Lammfleisch der war richtig lecker und diesmal das Brot nicht so kross. Einfach nur cok güzel.

Den Döner bestellt man hier an ein an einem Ausgabefenster und bekommt ihn von einem sehr freundlichen Herren überreicht. Leider gibt es keinerlei Sitzmöglichkeiten im Laden. Ich habe hier einen Lahmacun bestellt. Dieser wurde sehr üppig gefüllt, welches ein Pluspunkt ist. Geschmacklich war das Fleisch auch halbwegs in Ordnung. Der Salat hat mir aber nicht wirklich geschmeckt. Leider war in dem Lahmacun auch kaum bis gar keine Soße vorhanden. Somit kann ich dem Essen nur zwei Sterne geben.
