Super tasty kebab! Above all, lamb is served two days a week. The meat is of great quality, not pressed meat, but real meat! I've been visiting Faruk regularly for years, he's a great person. His tasting bites are great, his salad mixes are fresh! Highly recommended. I have now moved away from Hamburg and will miss him!

Hamburg's "best" kebab didn't blow me away. There are far better ones in Pott and Rhineland, but it's a matter of taste and so on. I only found the chicken meat too salty, otherwise stable 8/10. Nice graduate who serves one!

By far the best kebab I've eaten in Hamburg. I ordered the lamb kebab, it was super filling and the boss alone deserves 100 stars. He gave me sweet chicken to try and I was just as excited about it. I can really only recommend it, I don't understand the negative reviews. I would just be prepared for not being able to find a parking space. But it has nothing to do with the kebab, staff or taste :).

Doner, kebab, durim, first class. I haven't eaten better meat in a long time. We ate there three days in a row and it's delicious. The owner is very friendly, ready to talk and always with a smile. I will definitely come back again.

I couldn't leave Germany without trying some doner and I was very lucky to find this place. I had the lamb which was a generous serving of very tender meat with salad that felt a bit more sophisticated than what we get here in the UK. The pita was an upgrade too. The owner is an absolute star and I hope to return for more of his food. Cash only but there is a cashpoint at the garage opposite.

Very very strong kebab. €9.5 for chicken and €10.5 for lamb. I ate lamb for the first time in a kebab. Personally, I don't like the taste of lamb in kebab, but you can rarely taste it because it is heavily seasoned. The kebab man does it with love. You notice that. He puts effort into every kebab and doesn't just throw it away. Unfortunately there is no seating inside. Bread, vegetables and meat and sauce are all high quality. When you have to shell out €8 for a standard kebab. Then starting at 9.50 is mega fair. If you're a kebab fan, you should definitely have been here!

I don't know if it's the best kebab in Hamburg (probably so), but in any case it was the best kebab I've ever eaten. I'm very picky when it comes to meat, so I usually eat vegetarian versions, but here I chose the kebab with chicken and didn't regret it. Simply sooooo delicious!!!! And the employee was very friendly, you could tell that he enjoyed his work.

I ordered a mixed kebab and paid an extra charge. In the end I paid a whole €11 for a kebab dürüm. That's a high price for a kebab, but when I started eating I realized that there was hardly any meat in it and I was almost only eating salad. When I got to the halfway point and couldn't take it anymore, I told the seller: "There's very little meat in it and I paid an extra €11 for it." I then got a cheeky answer: "Then order the next one "Sometimes extra with a lot of meat." I didn't want any extra meat, I just wanted a kebab with a normal amount of meat. An overpriced place that is not worth the value for money nor does it provide good customer support. Nothing special, a kebab like any other.👎

Food was very good. The store looks more like a 5-6 than a grade. No seating inside, two old benches to sit outside. The kebab is really tasty but I could have eaten two as they are unfortunately a bit small. The next problem is the price of €9.50 is completely excessive.

I am from Frankfurt am Main and was in Hamburg for the first time. I really wanted to try the most delicious kebab from Hamburg, many people recommended Kurtulan to me (some food bloggers were also very satisfied). The kebab was simply delicious, which is exactly how a kebab should taste (you should eat lamb kebab right there as it tastes best warm) and the kebab master was also very friendly. Difficult to evaluate. Sales out the window, there are 4 small beer benches outside. Owner very nice at the beginning - until payment. Dürüm costs 9.90 euros, which is not a small amount. All dishes with lamb (only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays) cost 1 euro extra (separate sign 2 meters next to the price board). Since there wasn't much lamb left, we got half/half lamb/chicken - you can live with that. So 50 percent lamb, 100 percent surcharge: 1 euro. I wanted to pay half the surcharge for half the lamb, but the seller became uncomfortable. He explained that the (full) surcharge is always due as soon as Lamm is even included. According to this logic, the full surcharge for a Dürüm with 10 grams of lamb and 190 grams of chicken. He did not respond to this argument and simply repeated several times that the surcharge for lamb was always due. In the end he was stubborn and I didn't have to pay any more surcharge. It's a shame, because it tastes good, but I don't like being made fun of - it's not about a euro, it's about the principle. If he does this all day... but that's just speculation.

Arrived here hungry. Only sales from the window, no seating inside or outside. After looking at the price board, another look... it actually said €9.50 for a mini kebab... No thanks. It's just outrageous to quote such a price.

I can absolutely recommend it. The kebab is made with real meat, which I found grilled very well. I was greeted warmly and the employee seemed to enjoy his job. The price may be a little higher, but it is justified.

Interesting place on the edge of the commercial area with a large Turkish community. Eating outside was ok as we had good weather. Doner kebab looks appealing, but veal had a lot of cartilage. Handling the kebab is a bit difficult, also because the kebab is on a napkin. Price very high: 9.50. Conclusion: It's an experience the first time, but I wouldn't go there again.

The first kebab that I really enjoyed here in the north, but this shop looks really inconspicuously holy So what do we learn from this? The good stores that have quality to offer don't always have to look good from the outside and they don't have to be advertised on Instagram or other platforms

Incredible Döner, just what you need after a long day.

I've never had such a bad kebab!! eaten. My request was a veal kebab. I was served a mixed kebab with chicken. Simply disgusting. To pay €14.50 for this, I'm speechless. Never never again!!!!! Disgusting!!!!

Unfortunately it's no longer what it used to be. The last 3-4 times the quality continues to decrease. Everything no longer tastes as fresh and tasty as it did years ago. Everything is somehow musty and old. Meat extremely fatty. Plus this absurd waiting time. 5 people in front of you and then wait easily for 30-45 minutes. The owner is still more than friendly!

Unfortunately I can't try the kebab because I'm 700 km away from Hamburg. I just watched the post about Kurtulan Döner on YouTube. It's not just the kebab that looks very, very tasty, but I also find the way the owner treats his guests with respect very exemplary! Very open-minded, tolerant, and a big heart. The kebab is mentally ill. Best in Germany. I have never eaten meat like this anywhere. Not even in Berlin. Unfortunately there is no seating and the queue takes a long time. But quality also has its price. Doner kebabs now cost €10.

I have no idea how you get the best kebab in town, but this one is definitely not it. 9.50 euros for cartilage meat that was really heavy in the stomach. Bread, salad and sauce were just standard, nothing special here. No Ezme.

I was here yesterday with my wife to try the *best* kebab in town. When we arrived, a corner shop with window sales was waiting for us. A nice older gentleman welcomed us in a friendly manner. The kebab costs 9.50 but is prepared in a special way. That's how it's advertised...I've never seen or tasted anything like it. Tastes different. Personally, the 9.50 is too much for me for some salad with meat. There is no seating to linger here. There are also no paper bags or aluminum foil. The kebab is served with a napkin, which I find problematic, because the napkin and the bread turn into a napkin kebab mass during the consumption process.

One of the best kebabs in Hamburg is sold at the window. The ingredients are always fresh and the bread impresses with its crispiness. The ambience is debatable, but selling at the window definitely has its charm. All in all I was very at peace.

I didn't dare eat something here. The hygiene really leaves a lot to be desired, flies everywhere, even on the salads! The bowl for the meat looked like it had been used for a week, with leftover food and sauce splatters everywhere. And there's only one employee in the store, so it's difficult to clean up every now and then. It's a shame, I would have liked to try the kebab, but just looking at it gave me a stomach ache.

I had heard a lot about this store beforehand and was therefore very excited. This was by far the best kebab I've eaten so far. The meat has its own unique taste, has a wonderful bite and is served together with the salad, a little sauce and hot powder in an oblong oval bread. Tastes great! The employees are super nice. It's just a bit of a shame that you can't eat in the store. €9.50 is a hefty price, but it's worth it!

This kebab is really outstanding! The bread is crispy and wonderfully soft at the same time, the sauce is perfectly balanced and the meat is simply phenomenal. The lamb is particularly recommended on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Despite slightly higher prices, the quality is worth every penny, supported by the friendly management of the owner. The only point of criticism is the simple ambience on site, but this does not detract from the taste experience. The opening hours from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. are also ideal for working people. You can either enjoy the kebab on site or take it with you. Overall, an absolute highlight! Unfortunately the lamb was sold out, but the chicken was also great.

The kebab was very very tasty, even a fork so you could eat it. The salad was fresh and the meat was very tasty. The men at Kebab House made everyone feel like they were regular customers. The Croatian football fans - English speakers - were treated the same as everyone else in line. The only downer is that the kebab costs almost 10 euros, without aluminum foil or paper, just napkins around it.

Although I had high expectations, I was quite disappointed. Firstly, the prices for the kebab are significantly too high. For what you get, the price is not justified. The kebab itself was just average, neither particularly good nor particularly bad. There are many other kebab shops in the city that offer similar quality at a better price. Secondly, there is no option to sit and eat in the store. You have to stand outside, which is particularly uncomfortable on cold or rainy days. A comfortable seating area would definitely be a plus, which this store unfortunately doesn't offer. In summary, I cannot recommend this kebab shop. The kebab isn't bad, but it's too expensive and the lack of seating makes the overall experience unsatisfactory. There are better alternatives in the city.

Sooooooooo... Was there with my brother. The meat hanging on the skewer was definitely yaprak, however, I observed one thing that really disappointed me and turned the whole taste experience into a nightmare. The good man put frozen meat (probably from the day before) on the turntable of the kebab skewer and mixed it with the freshly cut meat. Unfortunately it was a disaster in terms of taste. Both were disappointed. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating and deserves my utmost respect because it takes a lot to treat every single customer like a king. Unfortunately, the product on offer, i.e. the kebab, did not convince us.

Extremely friendly service and good taste, but the chicken must have been old because the next day I just hung out on the toilet. This is an absolute no-go, especially for the steep price. In addition, the Dürüm is packaged so stupidly that fat and sauce oozes out.

They give 10 EU doner kebab everywhere, 6 EU at least, don't do it cheating, you frozen the salad, you put sipiskoll in it instead of eisber, there isn't even a plastic bag because it's cheap, everything costs 3, it's a disgrace.

Really top top kebab in Hamburg but the prices are becoming more and more suspect. Charging €11.50 for a kebab with “extra meat” that is actually equivalent to a standard kebab is the finest satire. It's better to drive 300km further to Eddys, where you get twice as much for half the price and similar quality! HAS BEEN a regular customer for years A pity!!!

3 durüm 1 kebab: everything was done wrong, nothing was as ordered .... 1 bush of parsley inside everywhere and lemon to the hilt .... hardly any meat 44 euros ... if you like it, bon appetit

More like a 3.5. It definitely wasn't a bad kebab. But the best kebab according to social media? So there was very little meat and too much salad. Meat was cold. Too little sauce. It's a kebab in the middle. The innkeepers are nice and I find it difficult to criticize because I don't want to be disrespectful, but for €9.50 for a kebab the criticism has to be honest. I'd love to come back, maybe I had a day where it wasn't so good. If it is better next time, I will happily give it 4 stars.

The food is excellent, likely the best doner in town. The doner guy is also very friendly and tries (not always successfully) to remember your usual order. The only reason not 5 stars is the wait. If you go during the lunch hour rush, it can easily take 45min to get your food, even if there's only 4 or 5 people in front of you. But hey, slow food tastes better! ;-)

It couldn't be better... except that it's unfortunately not super central, but I'd happily sit in the car for a kebab like that.
