What a delight – it was divine!! Thank you!!

We wanted to make a reservation, but the guy didn't take us seriously. The service was awful; the next day we were there the same day. The food was mediocre and the atmosphere terrible. Never again.

We came to this restaurant on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and helpful. My wife and I received excellent advice regarding the wine selection. The appetizers, bouillabaisse and tuna tartare, were superb. The main courses, dry-aged ribeye and Iberico pork chop, were cooked to perfection, very tasty, and tender. All in all, our visit was well worth the money, and we will gladly return.

We came here today on a friend's recommendation, and we were thrilled! The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was great, and a special shout-out to Kai! 🙋🏻‍♂️

The dishes were cooked and prepared to perfection! The cognac as a digestif was the perfect finishing touch! All four of us experienced multiple culinary orgasms 👌. If I could give ten stars, I would! TOP 👍☝️

Top quality and incredibly delicious preparation are synonymous with Delta Bistro on Lagerstraße. The high prices are justified. Better to eat meat less often, but at Delta!

The two of us went there and had a lovely evening. The food and service were truly worth every penny. If you want to treat yourself and enjoy good meat, this is the place to go. Unfortunately, it was very noisy and some of the tables were a bit too close together. Overall, though, it's a fantastic place that we would gladly recommend.

I had the 300g rump steak for €48. The price might seem relatively high, but my goodness, what a fantastic piece of meat! And it was cooked so wonderfully (exactly as I'd hoped, well-done but still pink inside) and already beautifully presented. The caramelized onions on which the steak was served were superb. The generous portion was also a real plus. It was practically a side dish and the flavors complemented the steak perfectly. The herb butter was also excellent. The clearly fresh bread, served beforehand with avocado cream, was another great touch.

Unfortunately, we can only give 5 stars. We would have gladly given more. I recently invited a dear friend here to celebrate the sale of my apartment. Since we were both already familiar with the place, our expectations were high. Were they met? No! They were far exceeded. The tomahawk steak for two, along with the sides and truffles, was cooked to perfection, just as ordered. The texture and flavor were a feast for the palate, and the fried potatoes were simply superb. An excellent wine recommendation from the restaurant accompanied the meal. I trusted our waiter and wasn't disappointed. I hadn't asked about the price beforehand, but this wasn't taken advantage of in any way. The bottle of rosé was listed on the bill at €32, which is very reasonable. The service was outstanding—attentive yet discreet, and delivered with a touch of Hamburg humor. Extremely pleasant. Coffee and espresso rounded off this wonderful evening, along with another excellent digestif recommendation. The bill was a pleasant surprise at the end. €186 for two glasses of rosé Crémant, the wonderful meal, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, coffee, espresso, and a digestif was more than reasonable. Our visit to Delta Bistro was disappointing overall – especially because of the exceptionally poor service. Even upon arrival, there was no clear sense of responsibility among the waiters. We had to wait a very long time before anyone even came to take our order – and later even longer to ask questions or pay. During this time, we were repeatedly ignored, even though staff were visibly present. What was particularly unpleasant: The service staff made incomprehensible and inappropriate comments that were irritating and made us feel unwelcome. The food was also disappointing: • The oysters didn't taste fresh – more like a cold storage room than the sea. • The meat was okay, but far from what you'd expect for the prices. • Tap water wasn't offered free of charge – instead, we had to pay extra for it, which seems downright petty in a restaurant of this class. • The bill was unreasonably high considering the quality and service. Conclusion: A place that doesn't live up to its reputation. Neither the hospitality nor the cuisine were convincing – we definitely won’t be coming back.

From the outside, okay... from the inside, wow... The food was super delicious and the portions were huge. Very meat-heavy, and of the highest quality. For the first time, I couldn't quite finish a schnitzel. Even my wife, who doesn't eat much meat, found something for herself, and she really enjoyed it! It's not cheap, but the prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. The service was also pleasant, relaxed, and very friendly!

We used to be real fans of this place - but unfortunately we've now romanticized it rather nostalgically. The current experience was… let’s say: sobering. The asparagus cream soup? Basically solid, with a little less salt it might even have had asparagus flavor. The dry aged beef was undoubtedly a good piece of meat - you could almost have tasted it if it hadn't been buried under an avalanche of spices. The beans were also – surprise – salty. Maybe salt was on special offer? And then the finale: No dessert, no espresso, no demand - instead the bill straight away. A service that apparently prefers to conclude rather than round off. Conclusion: Price at star level, taste more like diet cuisine with a risk of high blood pressure. It's a shame - there was more to it.

I meet my best friend here regularly when he's in Hamburg. The food is beyond suspicion and so is the service, but yesterday we were both missing a bit of the Hanseatic flair as there was an event next door whose music was pounding through the otherwise rather slow bistro. Deep, pounding bass made us run away after the first bottle of wine. Oh, and for a meal over 200 euros, it should be cloth napkins and not these cheap scraps. That doesn't fit.

Wir waren gestern Abend zu Besuch im Delta Bistro Restaurant. Das Ambiente ist ohne Fenster etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber ok. Wir bestellten Wein, Vorspeisen und Hauptgang. Der Hauptgang war sehr gut. Dann kam die Rechnung, leider wurde mehr abgerechnet als bestellt wurde. Nachdem wir unsere Servicekraft darauf angesprochen haben, nannte er zur Begründung seine dicken Wurstfinger (die selbe Begründung nannte er auch schon am Nachbartisch, wo auch zusätzliche nicht bestellte Getränke abgerechnet wurden). Leider schade, aber scheint wohl so üblich zu sein. Auch beim Abräumen ist leider das fettige Besteck direkt auf unsere Kleidung gefallen und statt der bestellten Flasche Wein, kam nur ein Glas. Ging natürlich zurück. Insgesamt haben wir bei den Preisen und Bewertungen etwas mehr erwartet.

Then the bill came, unfortunately it was billed incorrectly. After we asked our waitress about it, he gave the reason for his big sausage fingers (he also gave the same reason at the neighboring table, where additional drinks that were not ordered were also billed for). Unfortunately, it's a shame, but it seems to be common practice. Unfortunately, when we were clearing away, the greasy cutlery fell directly onto our clothes and instead of the bottle of wine we ordered, only a glass came. Of course went back. Overall, we expected a little more given the prices and reviews.

It was our first time dining here. The food and drinks were really excellent and first class. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a lack of attention from the staff; when you were served and wanted something extra, you sometimes had to make a "long" neck to draw attention to yourself. Unfortunately, to me the atmosphere seems a bit like mass processing with given time blocks - there's a bit of coziness missing because you're always looking at the clock to see that you have to be ready with everything from ordering to eating to paying in 2 hours. Nevertheless, it was a successful evening for us.

Very inconspicuous from the outside but a very good atmosphere inside. We were here for a birthday dinner and you have to say it was the best steakhouse we've ever been to. The carpaccio starter was to die for. For the main course there was surf and turf and a dry-aged 400g steak, everything cooked to perfection and very juicy! The service was very attentive and did a great job! If you want to treat yourself to one of the best steaks in Hamburg, you can't miss this location! The prices are high but worth every cent!

We came here on a recommendation, because honestly, we wouldn't have noticed the Delta Bistro otherwise. It's a bit hidden away on a side street, where you wouldn't just happen to stumble across it. The food was really good. The meat, in particular, was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing – there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The service was also quick and uncomplicated, so we didn't have to wait long. All in all, a really good restaurant that we can definitely recommend. We'll definitely be back.

As a steak lover 🥩, a visit to Delta Bistro is a must. Absolutely fantastic food, the steak was super tender and the side dishes were more plentiful than we thought. We were definitely full and satisfied, even if it wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth the money. 👍🏼

Best steak and wine place in town. They have a strict policy of reservation. Please reserve a table before you arrive. The wine collection is unbelievably elaborate. You can always ask for taste and decide. Tomahawk steak is the best. Sides are filling, order one for two persons when you have a bigger steak portion.

Es war einfach klasse hier im Delta und für mich eines der besten Steaks in Hamburg. (Gerne Tipps für weitere gute Steaks hier oben). Der Service war schnell und aufmerksam und man konnte sich obwohl der Laden gut gefüllt war in Ruhe plaudern. Der Tatar war Mega und dann das Rib Eye ein Gedicht mit guten Beilagen. Ich freue mich wenn ich demnächst wieder hier sein werde.

It was simply great here in the Delta and for me one of the best steaks in Hamburg. (Happy tips for more good steaks up here). The service was quick and attentive and you could chat in peace even though the store was full. The tartare was great and then the rib eye was a poem with good side dishes. I look forward to being here again soon.

The service at Delta Bistro is simply outstanding: attentive, friendly and always committed to providing guests with a wonderful experience. As soon as you greet us you feel warmly welcome. About the food: I can only rave about this! For a starter I had a tender beef carpaccio – perfectly seasoned and wonderfully prepared. For the main course I chose a 300g rump steak, which was served with fried potatoes, bacon and onions. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and simply delicious – a true dream! The chef here clearly knows his craft; This dish could hardly have been prepared better. In terms of price, the Delta Bistro is in the higher segment, but the quality absolutely justifies the price. The price-performance ratio is therefore top in our opinion! We are already looking forward to our next visit to Hamburg and will definitely eat at Delta Bistro again. Amazing food, tomahawk is worth buying!!

We recently had dinner with several friends. Well, for such a “classy restaurant” and prices like that, it’s pretty close to the limit. The waiter could be put in the Bundestag. Arrogance is capitalized and woe betide you if you have to walk too much. Then you get looks like you're someone from the gutter. The fried potatoes were very tasty. My 50 euro steak, however, was probably really old beef. The chewiest thing I've ever had. We have a truck stop around the corner and the steak is world class. But I didn't dare tell the waiter that. Before he makes the look of death again, I'm halfway through it. Well all in all it was the first and last time.

The food is disproportionate for the price. The burrata and bruscetta were out of the fridge, which unfortunately didn't taste good at all. But what bothered me the most was the service. The waiters were unfriendly and constantly annoyed, especially the blonde one who was miserable, unfriendly, spiteful and with an arrogant manner and that too with a bill of almost €1000!! The steak was good but the bacon beans were less than average. The worst was the waiter. So arrogant and condescending. You don't feel comfortable there and for me that's a reason not to go there again. Hamburg has enough other good steak restaurants.

Compared to my previous visit, unfortunately a bit weaker - service not 100%, some people were killing time on the sidelines and turning the drinks plate while they were bored - I don't understand, you can go up to the guests and say hello, buy them a schnapps, wash up , clean up whatever. But inaction is just semi-contributing to the atmosphere. It's a shame, the food is otherwise 1A!!

Been there again for a long time. I've never been served such bad fried potatoes in a restaurant. Super thin slices, all dark brown and not in the good crispy way, but endlessly chewy and dripping with fat. The schnitzel was mediocre at best, my companion's steak was good to very good - at least. Overall, not ok for the price. Always a fan of the Delta but that was a poor idea. Service sorted it out a bit but unfortunately there was no response to the complaint.

Finished with day 2 of SMM and found this wonderful place for dinner. Had dry aged beef ribeye steak and it was cooked to how I had requested - medium rare. Servers were polite and quick on their feet and made sure that we were attended to and that everything was well!

First of all, the food is very good! But the service is really weak. The waiter in particular was so unsympathetic and condescending. I can't remember a time when almost everyone at a table (there were 14 of us) said so negatively about a waiter. If only he had at least implemented the orders correctly... The organization is not recommended for larger groups. Despite an almost completely empty restaurant, we were seated so awkwardly against the wall that we couldn't stand up separately. 7 people had to sit on a bench against the wall. The table placement and the waiter made this restaurant visit feel like an unwanted child's birthday party. I've never experienced anything like that before.

Leider gibt es keine Sterne von uns. Um 20.00 gekommen, dann kam nach Anfrage um 21.00 das Brot. Die Gerichte dann um 21.45. Leider nicht wie bestellt, so dass eine Person nach Reklamation an den Abend keine Mahlzeit bekommen hat....Für die Preisklasse nicht akzeptabel. Für einen Valentinstag definitiv nicht zu empfehlen...und hätten bei einer Platzreservierung einen Hinweis erwartet, wenn sich der Platz im seperaten Seitenstübchen befindet.
