Toller Abend. Sowohl Personal (Valentin) als auch das Essen waren fantastisch! Wir würden immer wieder kommen. Auch die Empfehlung der Getränke!

Bueno, primero las buenas noticias: Los filetes sabían muy bien y se cocinaron a la perfección. El personal también era amable y conocedor del vino, pero también eran muy pocos y por lo tanto estaban demasiado ocupados. Nos llevó mucho tiempo tomar nuestras primeras copas, y nos echaron a perder el filete. Se los llevaron de vuelta sin discutir, pero a medida que nos abríamos paso a través de los que volvíamos, teníamos una fuerte sospecha de que no eran los ojos óseos - en costilla - que habíamos ordenado. No tenían un ojo gordo, y el hueso parecía un – 10 € más barato - corte de Nueva York (ver foto). Pero sabían genial. De hecho, fue el mejor filete que he bebido en mucho tiempo – el nivel perfecto de nuez seca - envejecida y cocinada a la perfección, por lo que no tuvimos energía para quejarnos más. Pero probablemente no volveremos.

Wenn ihr von Valentin bedient werden seit ihr in den aller besten Händen. Essen war lecker kann ich nur weiter empfehlen als leidenschaftlicher Fleisch Esser.

Ribeye perfekt zubereitet und die Blutwurst war auch ganz besonders lecker..alles in allem eine glatte eins. Danke an Herrn Göppel und Frau Hübner für den schönen Abend und den so aufmerksamen Service.

First-class food in a successful atmosphere, a lovely evening

ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!!!! The evening started out fine, the host was super attentive and the personal were nice, UNTIL we got our bearnaise sauce to our main. This restaurant presents to be an high end steak house, but they don't even have their sauces in check! The bearnaise sauce was completely blah, tasted nothing but butter. No acitity or estragon! When I went to the waitress and told her this bearnaise tasted like nothing. They did nothing but telling me that this is how their sauce is. For an HIGH-END steak house, should this be the service level?!?! On another hand, it is rather worrisome that this so called high-end steak house don't even know how bearnaise sauce should taste like?!?! The WORST PART: Nobody bothered to tried the sauce. Nobody did anything to make it better.

One of the best restaurants I have ever visited in my life. It's something special. You definitely have to dig deeper into your pockets but it's worth it. The meat literally melts in your mouth and everything else tastes incredibly good. Only people who really understand good, high-quality food can taste this.

Excellent restaurant with a great ambience, great service and fantastic food. We were there for the second time and it is an absolute recommendation. The service is on point, very accommodating and there are no long waiting times. We will continue to stop by every time we visit Hamburg.

Unfortunately the steak was very tough :,( and the service wasn't attentive at all. Too bad...

The atmosphere and food were very nice, the head waiter took good care of us, but I saw only one flaw: they gave our food to another table, we waited a little too long, but overall I can say it was good.

The price-performance ratio is not right. The quality of the food (oysters and steak) is not in proportion to the prices. Very disappointing restaurant. There's no point in offering an aperitif as an excuse next time. I just don't go there anymore.

Definitely one of the best (steak) restaurants in Hamburg. Excellent food combined with first-class service. Not cheap, but worth every cent 😉

The food was top notch for us. We had the appetizer variation, which is highly recommended. You can't go wrong when choosing a steak because everything sounds very good. We had the dry aged rump steak. It was grilled perfectly. The dessert was also really great. We have to mention our waiter Valentin Steinfeld, who had a great wine recommendation for us and also did a great job. Thank you again for that :-)

I had dinner at Meatery and I can honestly say this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves a good steak. The atmosphere when you walk in is welcoming but also has this sleek, modern vibe. It’s comfortable and upscale without being pretentious, which I really appreciated. Excellent selection of meat, self dry aged steaks with extraordinary quality. Perfect dessert.Espresso was fresh but could be stronger.

A fabulous restaurant with delicious meat dishes and a very warm and peaceful atmosphere. Works well for business lunches, romantic dates and more. The steaks are reasonably priced and the quality is hard to beat!

Wir haben uns im schönen Ambiente sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei der Auswahl des Fleisches sollte man unbedingt auf Tippˋs vom freundlichen Serviceteam vertrauen. Herr Göppel hat uns alle Cut’s und Herkunftsregionen super erklärt, sodass meine Frau und ich jeweils unsere Steaks so bekommen haben, wie wir sie am liebsten mögen! Getränke und Beilagen auch alle Top, nur das Kartoffelgratin hätte etwas weniger Rosmarin vertragen können….

The Meatery is one of my favorite restaurants in Hamburg! We were there again yesterday at the start of the year and it was once again terrific - the quality of the food, drinks and service (especially Ms. Ilic) were, as with every visit, simply great.

Hier kommen wirklich Erlebnis und Genuss zusammen. Für besondere Abende sehr zu empfehlen. Ich habe hier das beste Steak seit langem gegessen. Dazu ein schönes Ambiente...., gehobene Klasse , und ein perfekter, freundlicher, professioneller Service. Und auch die Weinempfehlung passte. Wir waren zu viert und wurden sehr freundlich und aufmerksam von Herrn Göppel bedient. Ausgezeichnet und auf hohem Niveau. Ein unvergesslicher Abend , gerne wieder....

I can only agree with the previous reviewer: this is the best steakhouse in Hamburg I’ve been to so far. I’ve tried other well-known restaurants, but none came close to shining like “meatery” in terms of service, taste, and value for money. Highly recommended—thank you so much! We visited as a couple for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere was fantastic and quiet, making it easy to have a good conversation. The service was extremely friendly, highly competent, and eloquent. The steak was cooked to perfection, the sides were generously and expertly prepared, and the drink selection was excellent. Parking was convenient via the parking garage. The table was spotless and set in a contemporary style. 👌🏼🤩🫶🏼

I was there to eat and it was really good. The dry-aged steaks were particularly tasty. The atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed but still chic. The staff was very helpful and patient with all the questions I had. The cocktails in the Botanist Bar after the meal were also perfect I will definitely come back next time

Immer wieder beruflich in Hamburg + heute das 15 x allein hier im Hotel Side, Hamburg, Drehbahn. Was liegt näher, als auch im Restaurant Meatery essen zu gehen? Immer gern die Bricks oder den Wild-Oktopus als Vorspeise, dann Fleisch = Rinderfilet in der Salzkruste + dazu einen herrlichen Rotwein 🍷 ‼️ So genießt man das Leben. Dank des ausgezeichneten Services durch Herrn Dietmar Göpel + Herrn Biagio De Sanctis wird der Abend ein unvergessenes Erlebnis. Bitte „meinen“ Rotwein nicht ganz leer trinken!

What an unforgettable evening 😊 We came to the restaurant full of anticipation. These have not only been confirmed but also far exceeded. A big compliment goes first and foremost to Omid, who accompanied us through this wonderful evening in a very personable and friendly manner. He spent a lot of time and effort explaining not only the menu to us, but also the steak variations and various details about the wine. We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant! As soon as we entered we received a warm and friendly welcome, which immediately gave us a pleasant feeling of hospitality. The menu was explained to us in detail, and we particularly liked the fact that the meat was shown to us directly at the table to illustrate it - a really nice idea! The service was absolutely top – attentive, professional and always with a smile. The food was a delight: everything was perfectly prepared, the meat was cooked to perfection and of excellent quality. We felt completely at home and can only warmly recommend this restaurant. As for the best prepared steaks in Hamburg. Friendly welcome, followed by top service from entertaining staff. The room itself is a bit noisy unfortunately, but this does not change the quality of the food. The tartare is also delicious.

Food looked like all the other pictures. The service was good, especially from the head waiter. The quality and taste of the food was top notch. I especially liked the ambience. Nice dark and cozy, relaxed electronic lounge music. We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, we must have had a bad day. Too little service, drinks/aperitif after the starters, wrong steak at first, waiting for the new steak, espresso without sugar (none of the waiters within shouting distance). Bill and wait again until the waiter comes with the EC device. The staff tried hard but unfortunately it doesn't match the expectations when you pay €190 for dinner. Unfortunately, overall the price/performance doesn't match and it was our last visit, even though the steak was very good. Sorry

I love this restaurant!! The food is always on point, incredibly good quality, great selection and 12/10 stars for the preparation. The staff deserves at least as many stars. All employees are super friendly, courteous, attentive and absolute professionals. We eat here regularly and nothing will change.

Ambience is so-so. It's just a breakfast room. You can clearly see the breakfast counter. The food was good but not outstanding. The employees are friendly and accommodating. Okay to eat here but it's better in this price segment.

Very nice service and outstanding food. Came by especially for the brisket and was not disappointed. There were also 2 delicious sauces and side dishes of your choice, the potato gratin was prepared in a classic way and went very well with the main course. The Half Baked Cookie with vanilla ice cream as dessert was exactly my taste. Prices are reasonable for service and quality of food. Meat lovers will get their money's worth. Parking situation is a bit difficult.

A nice experience, but in the price range the doneness has to be right. That wasn't the case. In addition, I felt there was a lack of anything “special”. The meat was ok but not great, the side dishes were tasty but ordinary, the tartare was lightly seasoned and therefore unexciting. The service is great, courteous and friendly, the atmosphere is great. Only the music was a bit loud, so you couldn't really hear the service staff.

Moin Folks, hier im zentralen Genusstempel darf man der fleischlichen Lust unbegrenzt folgen. Die Restaurantleitung ist sehr dicht am Gast, unauffällig und dennoch max. bemüht das es uns als Gast an nichts fehlt. Es gibt einige Fleischtempel, alle haben ihre Berechtigung und jedoch die Qual der Wahl ist relativ einfach, hier stimmt alles, von A wie Anmeldung, via R wie Reservierung, weiter wie S Service, das Alphabet könnte ich hier zum austoben bringen, es ist auch in Sachen Inneneinrichtung-geilogalaktisch und wir werden demnächst Grüß Gott sagen und uns genusstechnisch verwöhnen lassen. „Für denjenigen der das besondere sucht“ Wir waren durch Zufall auf das meatery aufmerksam geworden. Dry aged beef …. Tatar vom Lachs oder Thunfisch… …und vieles anderes… Der Restaurantleiter Herrr D. G. empfing uns wie „alte Freunde“ ..so muss dass sein!!!…. Danach aßen und tranken wir uns durch die Karte😎 …einfach ein Genuss….

The Meatery had the best steak we have ever eaten, even among well-known restaurants in New York, the Meatery was far better. Today the disappointment came, we were there shortly before 9:00 p.m. and the table was reserved for 9:00 p.m. It was ten past nine and we still didn't have a table, only after we asked again did we get the table. It wasn't pretty, but it wasn't particularly tragic either. At 9:45 p.m. we barely received the food and drink menus. After ordering the drinks, it took a long time again, even though we only ordered a simple ginger ale and a beer. At 10:30 p.m. we finally ate something. Unfortunately this time it wasn't a taste explosion like usual, plus the waitress gave incorrect information. We'll first see whether another restaurant "T" can convince us more in the near future. It's a real shame, but unfortunately that wasn't convincing today! Addendum! But of all the steak restaurants I have ever visited, the Meatery remains the BEST in terms of steak quality and preparation!!!

Excellent food and outstanding service! The lighting concept would have to be changed so that the tables are better lit. Unfortunately, the volume of the background music and the acoustics in the room made communication difficult and pleasant conversation impossible. That's why we only get 3 stars for the ambience even though the furnishings are modern and comfortable. What a shame! It was still a very nice evening and would have been perfect if there had been pleasant conversation.

For anyone who likes good food, this restaurant is a must. Every single dish was perfectly prepared and tasted great. The meat in particular is simply great there. Even today, I sometimes wake up drenched in sweat because I dream about that steak. In addition to the food, the service was also impeccable, always helpful and friendly. Only recommended.

One the best steaks I’ve ever eaten!! Unforgettable… Just, they beed more staff to serve. You have to wait a lot for a simple request. The guy that receive orders, named Kevin was great and well-trained.

Decided to treat myself on my last evening in Hamburg, ordered the 4 x meat appetisers which included a ridiculously good "beef tea", ordered a Malbec from Argentina and a T bone steak which was crazy good with the herbs butter and salt. Place is expensive but I believe it is worth the money, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, quiet, super fancy and incredibly decorated. I would recommend it If you want to take your significant other, if you want to impress someone in any aspect, or if you want to treat yourself like a king ; ) this is the place to go

This was one of the best beef I had ever eaten. It comes at a price but it is definitely a place that I would recommend. We had a casual business dinner with the 5 of us in total. We chose to have the starter, main and desert in a shared dining way. In this way we all got to taste the diverse selection of beef and prawns the meatery has to offer. All of it was amazing and it was very well prepared. I would recommend going here if you are looking for leaving a good impression!

Very good steakhouse, with a hidden entrance. Steak was very good and also medium rare. Only the highly praised tartare was relatively tasteless. The steaks made up for it. Conclusion: a good place for steaks but I personally wouldn't order the tartare again. Price/performance okay
