Seit Anfang diesen Jahres haben die / der Besitzer gewechselt. Die früheren Besitzer waren so ziemlich die besten Gastgeber, die ich je kennengelernt habe. Beim ersten neuen Besuch fiel die Begrüßung aber auch sehr freundlich aus und es gab die Bratkartoffeln noch in gewünschter Form. Das Gewicht des Fleisches wurde zwar falsch notiert, aber dann nach Reklamation auch nicht berechnet. So weit noch okay. Gestern war ich erneut da. Bratkartoffeln nicht mehr lt. Hinterlegung und auch nicht mehr wirklich heiß und geschmacklich mittelmäßig. Das Linsengemüse ohne Biss. Das Fleisch hatten wir medium-rare (Filet aus Südamerika- zumindest bestellt) und Ribeye medium bestellt. Das Ribeye war well done und das Filet medium mit Tendenz zu medium-well. Enttäuschend. Wir haben das moniert, aber auf einen Austausch verzichtet. Ein Teil wurde vermeintlich nicht richtig notiert. Als Ausgleich wurde dann ein Espresso oder ein Grappa angeboten. Zumindest eine nette Geste. Bei Rückgabe des Fleisches wäre es aber natürlich deutlich teurer ausgefallen. Bei der Abrechnung heute ist mir dann (mein Fehler, aber im ,alten‘ Estancia war eine Kontrolle praktisch nie erforderlich ) aufgefallen, dass nicht das Südamerika-Filet, sondern das australische Filet berechnet wurde. Immerhin eine Differenz von € 12,-. Welches ich nun tatsächlich hatte, weiß ich nicht. Aber zumindest weiß ich, was ich eindeutig bestellt hatte. Insgesamt kein positives Erlebnis und nachdem ich das Estancia jahrelang zu meinen Lieblingsrestaurants gezählt habe, werden ich erstmal ein wenig pausieren und Alternativen testen.

Lovely staff, nice setting, very extensive choices in meat and side dishes. Prepared very well, cuisson as requested. Super tasty. Highly recommended.

The food is good but the portions are quite low according to price.

Their service mentality, food, ambience, they obviously deserve to hear nothing but only good things. We tried 21 days dry aged Irisches Weiderind and Rumpsteak, chief prepared my steak just as I demanded; medium rare. It was perfect cooked! Irisches was with a bit more fat percentage a bit more delicious by the way. Grilled Green pepper were delicious as well and were a perfect companion to steak. French fries were crunchy enough. We drank Pinot Noir and Malbec as per Claudia's recommendation, Malbec was spicy and strong enough which perfectly fits to my taste. All the waiters and waitresses can speak perfect English btw. Ambience was crowded but not too loud, it was such a cozy and clean Restaurant. Definitely we will be back, Thank you and conguratulations for great job!

Regardless of whether it was starters, main courses (meat quality A1) or side dishes and sauces, the food was simply excellent - absolutely recommended!!!

Wonderful service, first class steak. There were three of us and we ordered “Taste the north”, Irish steak and black Angus beef. It was all just very tasty.

We went to Estancia for the first time on our anniversary. We were greeted very friendly and escorted to our table where greetings from the kitchen were already waiting for us. Our waiter was very relaxed, courteous and personable. We had the Jack's Creek filet and the Marlon Seebürger ribeye. The steaks were really perfectly grilled and really tasted the best. However, Marlon Seebürger's ribeye is out of this world. Insanely ingenious and yet unusual meat taste. I really wished this delicious piece would never end. Absolute highlight! The side dishes were good, but nothing really special. There is actually something that can be improved. But the focus here is more on the steaks. We would definitely be happy to come to you more often. Thanks for having us!

They messed up out booking and pushed us out really quickly, food was good surroundings ok.

Ich war in einem nahegelegenen Amt mit einigen administrativen Angelegenheiten beschäftigt und bekam Hunger. Also schaute ich auf TripAdvisor nach einem Restaurant in der Nähe und fand dieses mit vielen positiven Bewertungen. Daraufhin entschied ich mich, es auszuprobieren. Ich bestellte das klassische „RibEye – Entrecôte (300 g), Black Angus, grain-fed aus Uruguay“. Die Wartezeit war angesichts des vollen Gastraums akzeptabel. Das Steak selbst war jedoch enttäuschend und blieb hinter meinen Erwartungen zurück. Der Kellner fragte nicht nach meinem gewünschten Gargrad, und das Fleisch war stärker durchgebraten, als ich es bevorzuge. Vielleicht wird ein Standard-Gargrad angestrebt, möglicherweise mit vorgegartem Fleisch, um dem Durchschnittsgeschmack zu entsprechen. Das Steak war anfangs warm, kühlte aber schnell ab, und ich fand es gegen Ende zunehmend unappetitlich. Ich aß es in weniger als 15 Minuten auf und bereute es im Nachhinein, ein Trinkgeld gegeben zu haben. Die meisten anderen Gäste wirkten wie Touristen. Leider habe ich nicht vor, wiederzukommen.

It was a very pleasant stay and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, my first steak wasn't cooked as requested. But the waiter noticed immediately and made me a new one. Everyone was very attentive, and everything was delicious.

Der Service war gut, aber nicht herausragend. Das Essen hätte schöner drappiert werden können und war teils nur lauwarm. Es wurde sich Mühe gegeben, aber all in all kein Highlight. Da gibt es weitaus bessere Steakhäuser in der Stadt mit höheren Wiedererkennungswert.

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar! Duidelijk bij reservering aan gegeven 1x glutenvrij maar werd totaal geen rekening mee gehouden. Als je er zelf niet naar vraagt! De gang zat er in als of je de trein moet halen! Vlees aangebrand waar door je bij elke hap alleen maar de kool smaak proeft. Zonde van het vlees en zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar!

I've been to many steak restaurants, but this one beats them all! The meat is of absolute top quality, perfectly matured and prepared to perfection. Every bite is a real taste experience - juicy, tender and full of aroma. The service is first class: friendly, attentive and competent. The side dishes and wine selection also leave nothing to be desired. The atmosphere is stylish and cozy, perfect for a special evening.

The food was a 10/10. The service was impeccable until the end. But when we had finished the main course after the starter, the waitress came and asked if we had ordered anything else. We said no, we hadn't received the card a second time and were actually going to order a dessert. Then she said that the next reservation was waiting and brought us the bill. We were there for 1.5 hours, had the starter, main course, 4 drinks and wanted to order 2 drinks + 2 desserts. It's a shame, because our overall experience is now marked by the last situation.

I ate here twice in one week while attending a conference in Hamburg.

Dropped by spontaneously and luckily got a table despite the restaurant being busy. The waiters were all super friendly and accommodating. The food was impeccable, large selection of different meat dishes. Since we were undecided, we asked the friendly waiter for recommendations, and he gave us great advice on both food and wine. The slightly higher price is completely justified. My husband raved about the pepper sauce all evening. All in all, just a wonderful evening! I can only warmly recommend it.

Ringed in the evening there with good friends on New Year's Eve 2024. Starting with an outstandingly competent and friendly service, we were already looking forward to the great food. The staff were always very attentive, but never intrusive! Both the Bellota ham as a starter and our steaks in the main course were, in short, perfect in taste and presentation. Finally, with a great dessert and good conversation, we agreed on the conclusion: we would love to come back here!

One of the best steak restaurants we have ever visited...if there were 10 stars I would give it. Top service, great atmosphere and all the food and steaks are divine. We will put this restaurant at number 1 among our favorites and look forward to eating there again on our next visit to Hamburg:

I cooked a lot of steaks and I ordered a lot of steaks in different places, but the one I had here was the best one. Super friensly folks, I got there in a winter night, tired and hungry with no reservation and the place was completely full, the lady there managed to find a table for me with a bit of waiting time.

Highly recommended steakhouse. The service is extremely friendly and gives the feeling that they are simply keen to create a fantastic experience for you. The same applies to the kitchen: our fillets were grilled to perfection. Another little tip: you should definitely pre-order.

Was the opening year 2020 or 2021? - I don't remember it exactly - it was pretty good at first, but it wore off very quickly. Given the many alternatives, it wasn't worth another visit after the third or fourth time there.

If you like meat, you can really treat yourself to something here. Very friendly staff, very attentive and open to requests. I haven't experienced the meat selection myself. The quality was really top on our two plates. A large selection of side dishes. Including special things such as an incredibly delicious lentil dal. This definitely needs to stay on the map. Without a reservation you shouldn't even try your luck. Actually, I would have said that it is a shame that there is no real alternative to meat. For certain couples, this becomes a killer criterion. Alternatively, you can put together a successful menu yourself from the side dishes. But the place is always full. Therefore there is no real reason to adapt the map. I can really only recommend this restaurant. When making a reservation, make sure that you are asked again to confirm it the day before.

Good steaks, friendly with kids but no options for kids when dining. The tables are a bit too close together, the light is too bright and intrusive. The fried potatoes are not fried potatoes, they are roasted potatoes.

The two of us were there for dinner and were immediately welcomed. The ambience gets 5 stars because it was adapted to the restaurant and its history. RUSTIC but COZY The service was very attentive, friendly and professional. The reason why there are only 4 stars here is because one lady poured me more wine so hastily. So it ended up next to my glass rather than in it and unfortunately she didn't notice it herself. The food was simply great. The meat was so tender and so delicious that I didn't even need a side dish. Highly recommended PS: There's a really cool lamp hanging there ^.^

When we visit Hamburg several times, a visit to the Estancia is mandatory. The fillet steaks are first class and melt in your mouth. Large selection of side dishes plus an extra recommendation per season. The restaurant is not very large, so make sure you make a reservation to eat there. The staff is super friendly + attentive, but not intrusive at all.

The service is friendly and attentive, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. Fantastisk steakhouse. Det bliver rated i top 3 af steder vi har fået steaks og det er mange! Vi bestilte 300 gram mørbradbøf og den sad lige i skabet. Kødet var perfekt stegt og mørt som smør. Tilbehør kartofler og bearnaisesovs. Eneste lille minus var sovsen, som ikke var en korrekt emulgeret bearnaisesovs. Betjeningen var helt i top og med god fokus på bordet. Absolut et genbesøg værd.

Meine Freundin und ich waren heute, zusammen mit unserem kleinen Mops, dort. Es war von vorne bis hinten ein Genuss! Der Service (Alle!) unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend. Immer wieder unaufdringlich nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei usw.. Und das Essen? Das war einfach spitze! Steaks auf den Punkt und absolut lecker. Preis-Leistung stimmt über alle Maßen. Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

It all comes at a price but imo it’s 100% worth it. Had an excellent ribeye, which is of course the center of the experience. The sides, a Cesar salad and garlic bread, were also top-tier though. Service was great as well. 5/5 for me, will come back in the future for sure.

For us, Estancia remains the best Hamburg steakhouse. The service is friendly, funny and attentive. But what we particularly like is that there are also cuts here that are not often found in steakhouses (e.g. US picanha, our tip, nice and buttery and nutty). The extensive selection of side dishes is also impressive. The cooking points ordered were all implemented perfectly. Grilled on lava stone, all steaks were super juicy and aromatic. Overall, the price level is quite high - around €100 per person - but the quality is convincing. Clear recommendation!

My wife and I were looking for a steakhouse for our short vacation and came across this one based on the reviews. First of all: this restaurant deserves 5 stars! Eat: Reduced to the bare essentials that you would expect in a steak restaurant. Very assorted clear menu with simple prices. My wife's fillet and my rump steak were fried to medium rare, wonderfully tender without a single tendon. The garlic bread with homemade garlic butter is a must-order. The seasoned vine tomatoes and mushrooms were wonderfully firm to the bite and aromatic. Service: Very courteous, omnipresent service staff. The glass had no chance of being empty. The empty dishes were removed from the table professionally and discreetly. Ambiance: Cozy ranch style to match the menu. Absolutely recommended if you are willing to spend money for fantastic food.

If you want to enjoy a fresh and high-quality meal in good company, you should make a reservation! Especially during summer time, when the terrace is open, the estancia is always worth a visit!

Arguably the best steakhouse 🥩 in the city! Fantastic hosts!!!

There were 6 of us at the Estancia and overall we had a very nice evening. Our youngest at the table (12 years old) said he had never had such a good fillet steak. Overall we found the price/performance to be okay, but it could have been a bit cheaper. Since we were there on a warm summer evening, we were able to sit outside. Overall it was a bit dark, but we felt comfortable. Service was all right. We will definitely come again...
