Très bonne expérience dans ce restaurant juste en face de la gare, la nourriture était bonne et le personnel très agréable. De plus nous avons pu manger à 22h ce qui nous a bien dépanné !

Wir haben bei schönem Wetter einen Platz draußen gewählt, trotz der lebhaften Bahnhofs-Gegend haben wir sehr gut gesessen und gegessen. Das Essen war wirklich gut und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ristorante di carne, utilizza carni saporite e ben condite. Ci sono molti tagli e molti abbinamenti da fare. Il locale si trova al piano superiore ed è raggiungibile con ascensore. Le patatine sono buonissime e anche le loro birre e salse. Molto buono

一般，中规中矩。牛排可能没在意几分熟，有些老筋嚼不动只能吐掉，感觉不再想吃牛排了。土豆里面加咸奶油挺好吃；凯撒沙拉跟其他地方不一样，只有烤面包丁和2种绿色的生菜组合，不好吃；啤酒跟国内的鲜啤口感差不多。很一般，食物品质跟价格不对位！服务员倒是很热情。

Das Blockhaus in Hamburg Kirchenallee ist definitiv eine Empfehlung wert! Wir waren dort auf unserer Reise nach Hamburg essen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Ambiente war wie immer traumhaft und das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Bruschetta und Carpaccio bestellt, beides war frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Der Salat, den wir als Beilage bestellten, war knackig und frisch. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass wir zwischen verschiedenen Dressings wählen konnten - sowohl das French Dressing als auch das American Dressing waren köstlich. Unsere Hauptgerichte, Steaks nach unserer Wahl, waren ein absoluter Traum. Perfekt gegrillt und auf den Punkt genau gebraten, genau wie wir es bestellt hatten. Dazu gab es leckere Beilagen und Saucen, die das Geschmackserlebnis komplett machten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder ins Blockhaus in Hamburg Kirchenallee und können es jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Hier stimmt einfach alles - Essen, Service und Ambiente. Ein rundum gelungener Restaurantbesuch!

Block House ist das beste was man in dieser Realität finden kann. Zu den Markt Bedingungen unschlagbar. Wenn irgendwas nicht stimmt liegt es am Gast selbst.

Rarely have we experienced such attentive service. Here the customer is king. Wishes are literally read from your eyes and it was delicious too. This makes eating out fun!

So yesterday it was an absolute nightmare when it came to food... the meat was great as always but the side dishes of crunchy pan-fried vegetables were somehow a mush of vegetables and the mushrooms weren't much better. But the crowning glory of the whole thing was the alleged potato gartin, a mush carelessly thrown onto the plate and tasting like nothing. It's a shame ☹️ we were once again looking forward to Blockhouse. Well then probably Paulaner around the corner.

Generally a good restaurant sometimes the salad seems old with brown leaves and the food can be cold but if you say that you immediately get something new

Tenderloin and bruschetta in a train station/canteen atmosphere. Bruschetta has become smaller and smaller in recent years, currently only 1/3 of a baguette, and the price has risen. The ambience is absolutely unsuitable for a nice lunch or dinner. You don't get what you pay for. Alone, you are sent to the bar (2 classes). Unfortunately, the tenderloine has shrunk and the price has also increased significantly. All in all, I'd rather fire up the grill at home and put a nice fillet from Edeka Mühlenkamp on it. I'm taking a blockhouse and crab break first.

It wasn't the food or the service. The hotel got one star because I personally found it impossible for a young manager to drink alcohol in front of the guests during the meal. It's a shame because his behavior and this consumption turned a beautiful evening into the opposite.

Here we eat fantastic - really good food. Bustle around us. We have been here 2 times and almost got it together, but still not when the service first time asked the waiter for the food if we wanted something as a side dish and the second time we got what was on the menu card and thought we got the same as the first time - so we had to order again when we thought it was included, such as the ice cream for the dessert. Would like to recommend the chicken with skin and the baked potato and the ribeye and the bleeding heart for sharing - remember the ice cream. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mvh Heidi and Torben B.

Really great restaurant that I would happily recommend. The staff is really super nice and friendly. The working atmosphere there also seems to be very good (at least that's how you get the feeling). The food was also really tasty.

Dinner on a weekday. It wasn't full. The food comes in small portions (the Block House bread for example) The taste is ok. A burger looks different than normal here. It has a baguette (garlic bread) on the bottom and nothing on the top. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. All in all ok but not my favorite Water from the tap is offered. But this costs €2.60 Vegetables also came in very small portions. There were also few fries on the plate.

The service was very nice and attentive. The room is too open and very loud. The food was subpar. The burger was served on a limp piece of baguette without a lid. The meat was half raw, there were no sauces and the cheese was tasteless. Even the fries were dry and soggy. Only the tablespoon-sized coleslaw was tasty. Absolutely outrageous for just under 18 euros. The wines are also completely overpriced. Never again!

Our highlight was our restaurant specialist Isabella. Even though there were a lot of guests on site today, she mastered it with flying colors. Absolutely great employee, and has been for 23 years! As always, it was a fantastic steak experience (like in South Africa), no matter where you visit the Blockhouse, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for the good dinner.

A really big compliment to the friendliness of the staff. Small children are rarely treated so kindly and lovingly. There were art supplies for the kids and a puzzle. The food was perfect as always.

On February 22, 2024 at 9:20 p.m. I wanted to enter your restaurant at the main station with my partner. Unfortunately, we were turned away on the grounds that there were no more goods in stock. So my surprise dinner was over and our journey from Uelzen was unfortunately free.

We were there today with a larger group and our two small children. Rarely have I experienced such a child-friendly restaurant and staff - really great, thank you very much for that :) The food was really great, we were completely satisfied! :)

I was there on the 18th and 20th of February and ate in this nice restaurant. Isabella did an amazing job. Everything was 6/5. Will definitely go back if I visit Hamburg again. The mushrooms were tasteless but it didn’t affect the nice experience I had there. Thank you Isabella, love you from Oslo.

Food was incredible with very little wait time. Steak was perfect and, although being a bit pricey, included side salad, baked potatoe and bread, making it a fulfiling meal. Servers were very atrentive, almost didnt have to signal them. Chocolate souffle was delicious.

Steak were really nice, its tenderness and juiciness is perfect. Price is not bad as well. Service are really good too and location is just across the central train station.

During our short vacation in Hamburg we stopped at the Block House (Kirchenallee 49-51). We received a friendly welcome, the waiter was super nice, funny and quick. Anyone expecting typical burgers here is misinformed - this is a deconstructed burger. A super tasty patty with Block House bread... we had the New York Cheese Burger twice. The quality is good, unusual but good. The kids ordered a patty with Block House bread - it was a culture shock for the kids - THAT's not a burger :D Including the tip, we spent 100 euros, which is within the same price range as we found elsewhere during our days in Hamburg.

Im Hamburg-Kurzurlaub sind wir im Block House (Kirchenallee 49-51) eingekehrt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, der Kellner war supernett, lustig und schnell noch dazu. Wer hier typische Burger erwartet ist falsch informiert - hier gibt es einen dekonstruierten Burger. Ein super leckeres Patty mit Block House Brot ... wir hatten 2x den New York Cheese Burger. Die Qualität ist gut, ungewohnt aber gut. Die Kinder haben ein Patty mit Block House Brot bestellt - für die Kinder war es ein Kulturschock - DAS ist doch kein Burger :D Inklusive Trinkgeld haben wir 100,- Euro ausgegeben, liegt im preislichen Niveau, welches wir in den Tagen in Hamburg auch woanders festgestellt haben.

I was here today on February 16, 2024 at around 2:15 p.m. with my girlfriend. We asked an employee if we could sit in a seating area. This was approved. After about 20 seconds, a lady in black clothes came and very rudely/disrespectfully asked us to leave the seating area immediately. There was no response at all to my statement that we were allowed to do so. This means that the Blockhouse chain is done for us and we will not be entering any of these restaurants in the future.

We really enjoyed our meals. Great service.

Good food at a relatively high price level.

Während des Essens fiel mir eine Kakerlake auf den Kopf. Die Betriebsleiterin sagte mir dass die Nacht vorher Kammerjäger u.a. die Zwischendecke begast hätten. Nun die angegangene Kakerlake auf der Flucht. Hätte am Folgetag überhaupt geöffnet werden? Essen langweilig - Systemgastronomie - wie immer. Ich weiche aus auf Tatar und Salat.

No visit to a blockhouse has ever been this good! Very friendly and attentive staff! Food was super quick; An order had come incorrectly but it was taken care of immediately and apologized, then gave us a small snack to tide us over. And then it still went quickly. Here the guest and his well-being are our top priority! Very good ! We really liked it and will definitely come back! Thank you for the delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere! :)

We've eaten at Blockhouse several times, but were a little disappointed today. As usual, the ambience is a bit too dark and old-fashioned but it fits the concept. However, the Blockhouse Salad was missing pumpkin seeds, even though they were on the menu. The main courses (Fjord salmon & fillet steak mignon) were okay in terms of taste, but there are also small points of criticism here: The salmon was a bit too cooked (protein flaked easily) as was the fillet steak. This was ordered medium but was more towards medium-well. The seasonal vegetables ordered with it were also a bit overcooked and a bit mushy. Unfortunately, the way it is served doesn't match the price range of the dishes. This seemed loveless and uncreative. The sauce for the salmon in particular should be given extra, because on the plate today the fish was swimming in the sauce and the potato gratin was also in the middle of it. Not everyone likes everything drenched in sauce. Dried parsley over every dish is no longer fashionable and can be arranged and decorated in a much more attractive way. The dessert (lava cake) was also placed rather carelessly on the plate with enough sprayed cream and here too the cake was rather floating in the sauce. If you decide to offer such a high quality of meat or food quality in general that is in a higher price range, then the eye should also eat. All in all, the taste is okay, but here and there the work needs to be done a bit more modernly in order to be able to present the value of the food as an experience to the customer.

If you expect totally hip, innovative and vegan cuisine, you've come to the wrong place. But if you want to eat the best steaks in town, this is the place for you.

Visited on a Friday evening around 1800 upon arrival in Hamburg and managed to get a table. The restaurant was busy but not overly loud and had a nice atmosphere. The staff were extremely attentive and polite. We ordered a Sirloin Steak with fries which also came with a salad to start which was delicious. The meat was really high quality and cooked to our liking. The dessert menu was also good, we had the Strudel and the Chocolate Lava Cake which were also excellent. Starter Salad, a good sized Sirloin, Fries, a dessert each, 2 beers and a bottle of water for the table all came to €112 (£96) which was excellent value for money given the quality of the food, drinks and the staff! Can’t recommend enough.

Ich habe hier 5-6 mal zu Abend gegessen und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Kellner/innen sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, bieten einen sehr guten Service. Ich bin ein Fan von Ribeye Steaks und bin vor allem sehr zufrieden mit der konstanten Qualität, die hier abgeliefert wird. Das Steak war immer auf den Punkt Medium, wie ich es mag, das Pfannengemüse knackig und lecker, die angebotenen Weine sind sehr gut. Hier wird ein guter Standard mit einem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und konstanter Qualität abgeliefert ! Weiter so und immer wieder gerne.
