Due to the many positive reviews, we came here with quite high expectations. The decor is well done, the service is quick and attentive. So the first impression was very positive. The map is manageable, which is a good sign. My barometer in Italian restaurants is the spagetti carbonara. And what can I say, they are served here with cream and smoked meat. Ragazzzi whoever makes pasta with cream will go to Italian hell. Cream belongs in dessert and nowhere else. Apparently the chef is not Italian. The second negative point was the Primitivo, which was served too warm. Unfortunately, this is more the rule than the exception. We've been to Tuscany several times and they can't read the label either. Our noodles were okay but not anymore. The empty dishes were quickly cleared away, but the empty wine glasses were no reason for the service to ask if we wanted to drink something else. Overall, we had the impression of mass processing; we didn't feel like guests.

Die Tapas sind lecker, aber nicht zu hundert Prozent authentisch spanisch. Trotzdem hatten wir einen tollen Abend dort. Abzug gibt es, weil vieles von der Karte nicht verfügbar war & die Preise etwas zu teuer waren.

Food was good, but the woman who served it was completely unfriendly. First you have to wait a long time and then you only get your drinks at the same time as your food that are not worthless in advance.

Great coffee and delicious fresh waffles. There is also friendly service. Highly recommended!

Contrary to other reviews, I would specifically like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. We have rarely received such friendly service and we were here on two evenings. The draft beer is recommended and the price is also completely reasonable. The cheese plate, actually for one person, is plentiful and we were able to eat it as a couple. The view directly onto the Porta Nigra is fantastic and you can easily listen in at concerts. ;)

Price/performance leaves a lot to be desired. We weren't satisfied.

Very friendly service, good buzzy atmosphere. The food was really good. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. The roast beef strips were more like medallions and looked delicious - I wish I'd ordered those, although my pork knuckle was great too, especially with the accompanying potato mash/sauerkraut. It might be worth booking in advance, It's a large place, but was full on a weekday night.

We reserved a table for 3 people to eat 1 week in advance, but when we arrived we were allocated a table for 2 people. When we pointed this out and asked for another larger table, they became even more unfriendly... I can't say anything about the food itself because we then left... Update: We went there again and the food was good...large portions Update: Visited again in 2023...food was great and the staff was very friendly

As always, a culinary taste experience. Super friendly service staff despite the very full restaurant. For me it is one of the top 5 in Trier and the surrounding area.

Quite spontaneously stopped by this beer garden of the allotment garden association. I felt like steak and it just so happened that it was rump steak day at the place. So go in and order. Food was great, steak was very good, fries perfect and the salad was fresh. Plus fast and very friendly service. The only deduction for the ambience is because the chairs were a bit low in relation to the table. Otherwise highly recommended.

THE SHOP IS CLOSED!!! I also placed an order through the website, went there and was informed by the other company that King Tacos had been closed for 2 months
