The restaurant is huge so it's very likely they will be able to squeeze you in somewhere, but if you're a large group, better book a table in advance. Food is good, portions huge and it's good value for money. What I appreciate about this restaurant is that they are very family friendly and always go out of their way to accommodate the little ones.

Unfortunately not really very satisfied. Been there 3 times now. My companions always eat steaks, I always have to try my way through the menu because I don't like steaks^^ But unfortunately I haven't found anything yet that makes me happy. Schnitzel was okay, but I don't know. The roulades are too tough for me and there was cinnamon (?) in the red cabbage. I'll probably try the vegetarian items next time I visit. On the last visit, my companion's steaks were too cooked (and burnt) and herb butter and vegetables were forgotten. :( The service wasn't really nice either, rather bitchy and annoyed.

I also particularly enjoyed the coffee – nice and strong and aromatic. In the evening, the café turns into a popular meeting place with a nice selection of wines and small snacks. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. A small point of criticism is the waiting times, especially when it is full. Sometimes it can take a little longer for the orders to arrive. However, the staff was always friendly and helpful, which made up for the small disadvantage. Overall, "Early to Late" is a great address in Trier that I can recommend to anyone who wants a good breakfast or a relaxing evening!

Quaint brewery with great food at reasonable prices. The highlight for us was the spit roast! If you like hearty food and large portions, this is the place for you. Would definitely go here again. It's always full. So it's worth making a reservation or coming early (6 p.m.).

The food is impeccable, especially the sauces are to die for. The staff are generally very friendly, but sometimes seem a bit overwhelmed, even when there is little going on. The ambience inside is great, outside you sit directly in the pedestrian zone. Depending on the time of day, it can be very crowded and it's better to eat inside. Still worth a visit.

Cologne. Early Kölsch. That's what this inn is all about. The Köll style is cultivated and lived by the staff. The chatter at the counter between the guests and the bar staff reveals that the Köllner likes to come over and then feels at home. So I think the store can rightly call itself authentic! Tasty food with large portions: from schnitzel to rump steak to Leberkäs and heaven and Ääd you can find everything at normal prices. Good, tasty, honest.

Brauhaus character Very nice, cozy location, came without a reservation, very friendly reception, we were assigned a table straight away. The food, meatloaf and steak, was super tasty, large portions, and the price-performance ratio was right. We felt comfortable, a good address that you can visit again and again if you want to eat well in Trier, highly recommended!!

A cozy restaurant in a beautiful part of the city. Quiet and pleasant place. On Sunday at 18:00 95% of the tables were occupied (talk about quality!). The order was: 1- sausage with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut (I didn’t like it. The sausage was dry and bland); 2- blood sausage with potatoes and apple (liked it)). The portions are huge. It’s a pity that it’s not entirely clear from the contents of the menu that sauerkraut is not like a salad, but as an additive to the puree itself. The dishes are broken, you CANNOT serve food in such dishes!!! (last photo). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Respect to all the girls who very tactfully and unobtrusively asked if we liked everything.

Busy business and rightly so! Food was delicious, staff is polite and knows how to serve guests well. Clean business; menu cards were cleaned, tables, toilet very clean, etc. If you like large portions then you should eat here. We were surprised by the size of the schnitzels and quite a few fries and lettuce per person.

Nice Cologne restaurant in the middle of Trier, the food was very tasty and recommended. Unfortunately, once the food order was taken, the service was inattentive and empty glasses and plates stood there for quite a while.

Everything was to be repeated, especially the cuts of meat. Good price. Friendly waiters.

We were assigned a table without a reservation, but then had to independently look for a Köbes to take our order. My husband was more or less denied a “large” Kölsch because the carbonation would lose too quickly. Instead, two small Kölsch were brought, a bit incomprehensible to us, but oh well. We then only took one. Food came quickly and tasted okay. Next time we'll go back to the original in Cologne ;-)

Best pork knuckle I've tried in Germany so far (better than experience in Munich) ! Crispy, big portion, juicy and at a fair price. The local beer was also good. Service was nice.

Na het lezen van de goede recensies hier naartoe geweest voor diner. We konden ook zonder reservatie een tafeltje krijgen. Persoonlijk vonden wij dit restaurant een tegenvaller. Ik bestelde schnitzel met peperroomsaus. De schnitzel was droog en smakeloos, de saus overduidelijk uit een pakje. Mijn echtgenote nam een spaghetti, eveneens niks speciaals. Daarenboven is alles nogal prijzig.

Cologne brewery tradition meets Trier cuisine. I would describe the food as the usual brewery fare, which is what I expect when I visit a place like this. In addition to schnitzel, the menu includes Cologne and Trier dishes. The service is absolutely friendly and very attentive. What you won't find here is the typical Köbis, but that's not a bad thing.

The place is spacious and traditional. Delicious German food, drink and desserts. Nice attention. Expensive for a Latin American pocket... The interior is very cozy in winter and the esplanade is enjoyable in the summer. Very clean and complete toilets, descending a large staircase.

Kölsch is also available on the Moselle. And it tastes good. Good selection of Rhenish Palatinate cuisine and steak. I chose heaven and earth and it was very tasty. As a child in Schleswig Holstein this was called Grützwurst. Brought back memories.

In my opinion this restaurant is one of the best I have eaten at so far. If you like hearty, home-style regional food, you should definitely eat here. The service was very nice and accommodating. But the other employees who came past the table also asked if everything was OK or if anything was needed without being intrusive. The food was ready very quickly and incredibly filling. If you don't eat much, it's best to order smaller portions beforehand. The price is more than fair, even for these large portions. I had barely gotten all of the dish but there was also the salad that came with it... I had to eat it, even though nothing else fit in my stomach because it tasted so delicious (the dressing was first class) Conclusion: if I come to Trier again...I will only eat in this restaurant!!!!

We had steak and it was really very good. Fried to perfection. The service was also friendly and attentive. But that's it. The food was on the table 2 minutes after ordering, you barely sat down. The atmosphere is anything but cozy for our taste. Train hall character with an extreme volume, so that normal conversation is almost impossible. For me personally, the tables are uncomfortably close to each other. So certainly recommended for a quick lunch with colleagues, but more of a disaster for a cozy dinner with friends, as the only emphasis here is on quick processing (mass processing) so that the table is free as quickly as possible. Nobody sat for long while we were there (in the evening).

The restaurant is located in the middle of the city in a great old building. We were there with a smaller group and received a very warm welcome from the service. We immediately felt welcome and throughout our stay we were always asked about any further requests and the service team was in a very good mood and always polite. We all enjoyed the food very much. All dishes were fresh and appetizingly prepared. We had schnitzel dishes, salads and the rump steak. We will definitely come here again to eat as we really enjoyed it here.
