I felt like I was in the middle of Cologne. Super tasty steak, French fries were really tasty and the side salad was like my grandma's.

Very good food, fast and friendly service. The prices are OK and correspond to the good quality. Sometimes not suitable for quiet conversation, but more suitable for a nice evening with beer and hearty food.

Busy business and rightly so! Food was delicious, staff is polite and knows how to serve guests well. Clean business; menu cards were cleaned, tables, toilet very clean, etc. If you like large portions then you should eat here. We were surprised by the size of the schnitzels and quite a few fries and lettuce per person.

Nice Cologne restaurant in the middle of Trier, the food was very tasty and recommended. Unfortunately, once the food order was taken, the service was inattentive and empty glasses and plates stood there for quite a while.

So first of all, kudos to the nice waiter with the glasses (the one from Düsseldorf), 😊you're doing a really great job, and you can tell that you really enjoy serving the guests. We were assigned a table without a reservation, but then had to independently look for a Köbes to take our order. My husband was more or less denied a “large” Kölsch because the carbonation would lose too quickly. Instead, two small Kölsch were brought, a bit incomprehensible to us, but oh well. We then only took one. Food came quickly and tasted okay. Next time we'll go back to the original in Cologne ;-)

Best pork knuckle I've tried in Germany so far (better than experience in Munich) ! Crispy, big portion, juicy and at a fair price. The local beer was also good. Service was nice.

After our vacation in Trier, this is our clear favorite in the catering area from morning to night. Ambiance cozy and nice, service very courteous, organized and fast. The food and the price-performance ratio are simply great. In addition, the children's portions and prices are really fair. That's why we went a second time on the last evening of the vacation.... That says it all...

Cologne brewery tradition meets Trier cuisine. I would describe the food as the usual brewery fare, which is what I expect when I visit a place like this. In addition to schnitzel, the menu includes Cologne and Trier dishes. The service is absolutely friendly and very attentive. What you won't find here is the typical Köbis, but that's not a bad thing.

Relax on the terrace. Good choice on the menu. Also vegetarian. We liked the taste. Price and quality also excellent. Service was very friendly. Great experience!

Well, you shouldn't expect top-class cuisine on a nuclear basis here. However, brewery culture is in vogue. The early in Trier also provides the reason. Warm service, responsible prices, good beer and solid cuisine. Keep it up!

The place is spacious and traditional. Delicious German food, drink and desserts. Nice attention. Expensive for a Latin American pocket... The interior is very cozy in winter and the esplanade is enjoyable in the summer. Very clean and complete toilets, descending a large staircase.

Kölsch is also available on the Moselle. And it tastes good. Good selection of Rhenish Palatinate cuisine and steak. I chose heaven and earth and it was very tasty. As a child in Schleswig Holstein this was called Grützwurst. Brought back memories.

We had steak and it was really very good. Fried to perfection. The service was also friendly and attentive. But that's it. The food was on the table 2 minutes after ordering, you barely sat down. The atmosphere is anything but cozy for our taste. Train hall character with an extreme volume, so that normal conversation is almost impossible. For me personally, the tables are uncomfortably close to each other. So certainly recommended for a quick lunch with colleagues, but more of a disaster for a cozy dinner with friends, as the only emphasis here is on quick processing (mass processing) so that the table is free as quickly as possible. Nobody sat for long while we were there (in the evening).

In my opinion this restaurant is one of the best I have eaten at so far. If you like hearty, home-style regional food, you should definitely eat here. The service was very nice and accommodating. But the other employees who came past the table also asked if everything was OK or if anything was needed without being intrusive. The food was ready very quickly and incredibly filling. If you don't eat much, it's best to order smaller portions beforehand. The price is more than fair, even for these large portions. I had barely gotten all of the dish but there was also the salad that came with it... I had to eat it, even though nothing else fit in my stomach because it tasted so delicious (the dressing was first class) Conclusion: if I come to Trier again...I will only eat in this restaurant!!!!

The restaurant is located in the middle of the city in a great old building. We were there with a smaller group and received a very warm welcome from the service. We immediately felt welcome and throughout our stay we were always asked about any further requests and the service team was in a very good mood and always polite. We all enjoyed the food very much. All dishes were fresh and appetizingly prepared. We had schnitzel dishes, salads and the rump steak. We will definitely come here again to eat as we really enjoyed it here.

Wonderful hidden gem in the busy city centre of Trier. I had black angus steak, well done and it was indeed that well done that i didn't have time to take picture of it before i devoured it. Make sure you try their rose wine by the glass its super good. The portions are the true German style - huge and fulfilling. I'm happy my friend recommended me this place. Salads are fresh and the sauce in it tasty. All recommendations from me.

And the Köölsch works fine Update Unfortunately, as regular guests, we increasingly cannot shake the feeling that things have developed negatively here since the expansion. I could describe the charm this place had with a BB King title "The Thrill is gone". I also have the feeling that the staff are exhausted, are no longer allowed to make small talk with their guests and the regular staff are no longer there. Will man eine ehrliche Meinung haben oder ist alles immer super super super? Freundliches Personal. Wir hatten den Spießbraten und den Hackbraten mit Pfeffersauce. Der Spießbraten war geschmacklich okay, aber muss es denn wirklich sein, dass da noch 20 cm Schnur dranhängen müssen? Die Schnur war sehr ersichtlich und kann die in der Küche nicht einfach vorher abgemacht werden? Dann war das ein großes Endstück, was man locker noch in zwei Scheiben hätte durchschneiden können, wurde also einfach auf den Teller geklatscht und kam somit mit der Schnur zusammen unappetitlich rüber. Das war nicht schön. Die Bratkartoffeln waren wirklich nicht gut gemacht, sehr blass und nicht abgeschmeckt. Der Hackbraten und die Sauce waren essbar. Dafür waren die Pommes richtig klasse. Wir haben das auch so offen kommuniziert…

I went to this restaurant for dinner today with my brother and sister-in-law. My meal was a salad with roasted champions and parmesan. The salad came carelessly prepared. I had to go look for the champions. The lettuce leaves were torn and disheveled. Among them were tons of red and white cabbage. The plate was far too small, there was more salad on the table than on the plate. The waitress wanted to bring champions, but I had lost my appetite. My conclusion: A carelessly prepared salad on a plate that was too small. Price/performance very bad!!!!!!!

Mega friendly staff/waiters and the boss is also very nice. Location is very cozy. Despite it being busy, the drinks and food came very quickly. Not a long wait. Super delicious food. One evening I ate gypsy schnitzel with fries and salad (€18), very generous, large portion 😃 Second evening I ate 400g steak with herb butter, fries and salad (€35). Cooking point was optimal 👍 very tender meat. I'd love to come back because everything was perfect👍 Sanitary facilities were also very clean.

It's OK for the price, not the best. You don't get that much for what you spend. And they do not serve something until you wait for your 500gr steak for 20-30 minutes. No bread or something, you just wait. Potatoes are good enough. Salad was not that fresh, and mush. Its good for only one time to go there. Keep in mind its expensive.

Our first impression was wow, it's big, it's crowded and it's loud. Yes it's full Yes it's loud but it's a pub! Get a table without a reservation, take a quick look at the menu and immediately ask about the drink. Super fast service. We both decided on the spit roast, thought it would take forever but we had our food in less than 15 minutes Felt like 600 gr. of delicious meat with good fried potatoes (I've had better ones) Unfortunately, paying took longer than expected. That should have gone better, but it somewhat tarnished the great service from the beginning.

Beautiful restaurant, well organized. Pleasant, welcoming and attentive staff. We were 16 people. (room of 5 tables with 4 chairs per table and space). Of course, we had booked online and received a confirmation email (very professional) with barcode. Even on the phone, to add people, the staff was very friendly. We were served very quickly. Our meals were delicious and very filling. Too full to have dessert. They spoke French with some of our group. Really recommended. Top. And prices really more than reasonable, even for drinks.

A great find for German food and drink for locals and tourists alike. The food is very good, portions are large, and the service is very attentive. Prices are comparable if not lower to prices elsewhere in Trier for the same items. Recommended for a good time. This is a walk to destination as there does not seem to be much parking nearby.

Food was very tasty! Praise to the chef! I would have liked more attention from the numerous waitresses: - Reordering drinks had to be made explicitly - Food arrived with a delay (approx. 5 minutes) - no questions about whether the food tastes good - cleared away while another guest was eating. Bread also had to be requested. It was the afternoon, not fully booked, guess average attendance. Please clean the bread baskets or put napkins in them, that was NOT appetizing!

We would have had time during Corona. We would have no patience!! Sorry, but that doesn't work at all! We will definitely not be entering this store again. Whole minus zero stars😳
