Very friendly service. The food was simply delicious and of high quality. I'd happily return...

The concept played right into my hands: You can try a lot of things here that you wouldn't order in a restaurant because you don't know what it tastes like. The price is of course initially a house number, but in retrospect it was absolutely fine for the quality. It's actually kind of like a buffet, only beautifully presented and brought to the table. And apart from the European dishes, I actually tried EVERYTHING. The staff is very friendly. As has been mentioned many times, the parking situation is not very good. But it was more than worth it. We will definitely come back.

There was a fantastic selection of dishes from all over the world, all of which were very well prepared and served. Most dishes are also available in a vegetarian/vegan option. The only drawback is that there are very few gluten-free options for people with celiac disease. More options would be very desirable here.

Just had dinner here: TOP! Delicious dishes, all top notch. Two things that really stood out: the barbajuan and the pavlova. Highly recommended to join us here (reservations can be useful, it was already busy on a Monday evening.)

The All you can Eat is selected using the tablet. The staff explains how to use the tablet to all newcomers. Operation is then easy. The food is very tasty and there is really a lot to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is also great. The seating is too tight in some areas. Love the concept! We could try many dishes from around the world. Not sure how authentic they are, but they tasted good. We needed to wait for 6 minutes before ordering the next dish. That’s enough to try all dishes we want within 2 hours. The best ones were chicken with green sauce from peru and all the desserts. Staff were friendly and attentive.

We ate there today as a couple because the concept and the dishes made us very curious. You can order a small dish (size similar to tapas) per person every 6 minutes. The shop was really very full and due to this constant ordering and “delivering” of dishes (by us and the 50 other guests) it was unfortunately very loud and hectic... a cozy meal as a couple is really not possible. The dishes tasted pretty good! The bottom line is that I have to say that the price per person (39.90 euros) is five to ten euros too expensive!

The masons in Trier shows the inventiveness of some people. But compared to other ideas, this one is implemented in such a way that everything works. This is rare to find. When you come, you get a tablet on which you can send an order every 6 minutes. These are always small portions so you can try a lot. That's funny. Always happy again.

We'll be back. update 3/2025 Unfortunately, after another price increase, I've reached the point where I no longer want to treat myself to Masons, even on special occasions. Not long ago you were at €25-27 per person. We came there several times a year as a family. Now 40€. And even if you see this as confirmation that the house is still well attended, it is still questionable whether you always have to get the most out of everything. Unfortunately, it's a sign of the times. In any case, these enormous price jumps are not justified. Maybe you'll consider introducing a family day or happy hour. Then I would like to be there again. update 1/2024: Masons is definitely still worth spending a nice evening there. I like to criticize the price increase. Of course, the signs of the times don't stop at Masons, but that doesn't explain a price increase of around 25%. In addition, the specials used to be available for ordering at a flat rate for an additional euro. Now they cost individually and if you want to try them all you'll have to pay another €5. Unfortunately for me it's a kind of hidden price increase and incomprehensible given the not insignificant overall price increase. I would also like to point out that perhaps there is a little more variety on the menu when it comes to drinks. At least when it comes to the beer selection. Trier has 2 very good local breweries. That would be one approach. I would also like to see good foreign beers as an alternative. Why not a Mexican Corona or a Thai Singha, Fosters from Australia, Peroni from Italy, Budweiser from the Czech Republic? To name the classics. I would also like to take the step further to craft beers. While we used to go to Masons every now and then, due to the price increase, in the future it will probably only be on special occasions such as birthdays. For a family of four, that's now around €40 more, but unfortunately that's no longer possible. Too bad.

The restaurant offers high quality food and good service. However, the prices are in the upper segment. Recommended for an upscale meal, but not for "penny-spinning" guests.

Friendly staff, delicious and varied food and a beautiful location. You can also specify for most dishes whether you want them vegetarian or vegan. Of course it has its price, but given the quantity and variety it is absolutely justified. I can definitely recommend it and will definitely eat there again often. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

We were received very friendly on arrival and we were assigned a suitable table. Nice location, well organised, friendly and attentive team. Fast service and an interesting concept. All the dishes I had ordered were super delicious, the homemade soda as well. My friends and I had a great evening! 🙂

Just a great experience. We went to Masons on a short trip today and we were very impressed. We think the concert is great and the food is excellent. If we are in the corner again or are going away with friends, we will eat there again. Thank you for the lovely evening ☺️

Unfortunately, we can only partially understand the great reviews. First of all, the positive aspect: The employees were very accommodating and did a great job. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the price/performance does not match. We paid a total of just under €100 for two people with drinks. For the money I expect better quality when it comes to the meat, for example. Unfortunately the ambience wasn't satisfactory either, it had more of a pub feeling...very loud, the table wobbled and was very narrow.

Nice concept of small dishes from all parts of the world. You can order again every 6 minutes. Most consists of chicken or pork. Everything cooked through. Personally missed fresh beef or fish. You can get some salmon or shrimp for an additional charge.

It was our 2nd visit to Masons. After Kaiserslautern during the holidays last year, today we visited Trier, close to home. We received a very friendly welcome on both visits and the concept and procedure were explained to us very well. Now one highlight followed the next for two hours. Culinary diversity from all continents, made from high-quality ingredients, prepared and presented with the highest level of craftsmanship. An absolute must for anyone who values ​​diverse, high-quality food. We will definitely come back. There was also dog Elli who was also very welcome.

The food was really very tasty. The service was also all polite and courteous. I got a little cold and felt like I was getting a slight breeze, but otherwise everything was fabulous.

My partner and I have been there probably 6 times now and are always super satisfied! We like the concept of trying out the small dishes, as the menu changes from time to time. The atmosphere is nice and the food usually comes quickly. Especially since you're busy eating the previous dish, choosing a new dish and having a conversation at the same time, time goes by really quickly. The food is really well prepared. A HUGE compliment goes to Marc, an employee who is always in a good mood and has a smile on his face. With him you can really tell that he really enjoys his job and we are happy every time he works that evening. I find it rare that a service stands out in such a positive way, which is why the restaurant is worth a visit. The food is great, what more could you want :)

We have been to Masons Trier many times and always enjoy coming back. We think it's particularly great that you can get almost every dish in a vegetarian version! Simply great :)

Yes, friends of brass music, what can I say? That was probably the absolute BEST! A visit to "Masons" is more of an experience for body and soul than a normal restaurant visit. Furthermore, the term “restaurant visit” would probably not do justice to this top-class culinary experience. Where should one even begin? The food - formidable, as our neighbors from France would put it. Something for everyone, the staff are always attentive and friendly. And the concept? My dear swan, such a refreshing and witty change came in handy this evening. I would like to express both my great thanks and my praise to everyone involved in this project. Unfortunately I didn't achieve as much as I aimed for, but that gives me incentive for next time - doesn't it? ;-) All the best and stay as you are, your Count von Schmausenstein

That was a culinary highlight - and a challenge :-) The four of us managed all the dishes in 2 hours. The next day we felt fine, which is a testament to the high and fresh quality. We'll be back and look forward to the next time

As usual, the food and service were top notch. Unfortunately this time we had the table right at the entrance. As promised, the door didn't open as often after 8 p.m., but when it did it was damn cold and really drafty in the corner. I actually wouldn't want the table again next time I visit.

That wasn't the last meal at Masons. After the many good recessions, expectations were not low, but they were clearly exceeded. All dishes were finely prepared and tasted authentically delicious. The concept of small portions allows you to enjoy several dishes without quickly killing your taste buds. The service was effective and refreshing in its jovial, warm manner. Eigentlich geh ich gerne zum Masons nach Trier. Warum sag ich eigentlich? Nunja am Wochenende waren wir leider etwas enttäuscht. Wir hatten für 20:15 reserviert, dadurch dass die Zweitbesetzung da stattfindet, ist es verständlich dass man etwas warten muss. Gegen 20:30 saßen wir an unserem Tisch. Um 22 Uhr wurden wir bereits aufgefordert den letzten Gang zu bestellen, nicht wie vorgesehen nach 2 Stunden, sondern nach 1,5 Stunde. Auch finde ich es nicht gut dass es als „all-you-can-eat“ gepriesen wird, man kann nur 20 Gänge bestellen, was meiner Meinung nach nicht dem all-you-can-eat entspricht

Die Auswahl und die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut. Natürlich hat jeder seinen Geschmack und andere Empfindungen aber hier stimmt‘s! Der Service war klasse, freundlich und zuvorkommend von den festen Bedingungen, auch die Service Kräfte die unsere Speisen serviert haben waren sehr freundlich.

I celebrated my 4th anniversary there with my girlfriend and it was just lovely. We were warmly welcomed and immediately introduced to the world of the digital ordering system by an extremely friendly waitress. Thanks to this first-class service, we were able to be enchanted by the world's delicious dishes in no time and send our taste buds on a culinary trip around the world. We will let ourselves be carried away into the world of food again and again.

Wir waren als Gruppe dort essen. Das Konzept ist klasse! Der Service / Küche sind sehr gut organisiert. Die Bestellungen erfolgen fortlaufend durch ein Tablet.. und das Essen war sehr gut! Jedes Gericht war lecker und toll angerichtet ( wie auf den Fotos der Speisekarte ) . Die Tische werden am Abend 2x belegt, so dass eine Zeitachse von 2 Stunden vorgegeben ist, die wir als völlig ausreichend empfanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

There are many vegan alternatives. Unfortunately, almost all of the items weren't quite my cup of tea (original and vegan). Many things are very spicy or very sweet.

It was our first time here and we were very skeptical at first. But.... It was a wonderful experience from A to Z: You can stay for 2 hours, it's a fixed time slot for the entire restaurant. During this time you can order selected small dishes from all continents, every 6 minutes. Both savory and sweet versions. In the end you are completely full and satisfied. The team is sensational: Super friendly Super accommodating Super polite And all of this during a fairly hectic period, so in one word, GREAT!!! Thank you for the great experience 🍀

I hardly understand the good reviews. I was here a total of 3 times for different occasions to give the restaurant a chance each time. Every time a disappointment. The idea is great, but the food isn't all that authentic and great.

A visit to Masons is always a highlight for me. Delicious food and very friendly, friendly staff. You never have to wait long. You should definitely reserve in advance. It's always very crowded. In my opinion the tables could use a little more spacing, but that's not a big deal. Gladly again!

Disgraceful... Simply outrageously DELICIOUS!! 😳 We felt so bad, we completely underestimated the portions, we had to struggle to keep the food in and rolled towards the city center around 7pm after just under 90 minutes. 😂🤩 They were super awesome spices, never tested before, perfectly matched, pleasing to the eye, very nice, quick, organized staff who also treated each other very respectfully. The portions were larger than expected. Some things didn't suit my particular taste, e.g. I don't like tomato sauce, peanuts, bacon or barbecue, but what I had was sensational!! My favorite was this baked Monaco ravioli and anything with chicken. A poem! A tip would be to use less ice with the rhubarb spritzer, it could have had a little more flavor :) We'll wait until the menu changes and definitely come back and then we'll take it slower 💪🫣😂
