On the first evening, we had gourmet salad and rump steak. Everything was absolutely delicious, so we went back the next evening. This time, there were three different schnitzels, in a quantity we'd never experienced before. Instead of the usual two schnitzels, there were two on each plate. Simply amazing!

Reachable by car, but off the beaten track. Very friendly, attentive service. We weren't disappointed with the food, but we weren't expecting Michelin-starred cuisine. It was good, home-style, very plentiful, and delicious.

We stopped in spontaneously today while strolling along the Moselle. The price/performance ratio is excellent and I highly recommend it. We had a lentil soup and a game cream soup, both hearty and very filling! We'll be back 👍🏻 You can also pay with PayPal if you don't have cash on you 👌🏻

I love this restaurant – the food is good, but it's unfortunately been declining lately 👍 We still enjoy coming here – both in summer and winter! In summer, the beer garden-like terrace is lovely, and in winter, it's very cozy inside! What we personally miss, however, is an outdoor play area for children! There used to be a slide here, but unfortunately, it hasn't been replaced since it broke – what a shame! The service is excellent, the selection is always refreshingly new, and the value for money is just right!

We were here for dinner again. We always stop here on the way home after our day trip from Mainz/Wiesbaden via Luxembourg. I highly recommend this place. The owners are always friendly and welcoming, and always accommodate our requests when ordering. Also worth mentioning is the nice, young waitress who served us yesterday. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great. We had one schnitzel, which was 100% frozen, and a meatloaf, which should really be called a schnitzel, which was pretty dry. However, the instructions and atmosphere were great.

Coming back from a hike in Luxemburg we were looking for a place to eat. Somehow we found this gem and were surprised of the ambience. It feels like you are dining in someones backyard. Green everywhere around you. It felt intimite and cozy.

The food is delicious and it's a lovely, quiet place to sit. The staff is very friendly, and the wine is inexpensive. Definitely recommended if you enjoy German food. Be sure to bring cash!

We were there twice this week. The schnitzels are amazing, with generous portions and fries just the way you'd expect them. The service and manager were very pleasant. Keep up the good work. We hope you have a great vacation. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be back.

The food was truly disappointing in terms of value for money. None of us three enjoyed it; they used convenience products from a packet, and the ingredients were unfortunately poorly prepared. The drinks were well chilled, and the terrace was quite nice, though without any view of the Moselle—which is something you'd expect given the name. The service was mediocre, not particularly friendly but reasonably fast.

No frills - simply delicious food, down-to-earth, homemade and served with love. You can sit wonderfully outside with a view of the greenery or inside in a cozy atmosphere. Stopped here yesterday on a bike ride. My schnitzel, fries and salad were good, my husband ate vegetarian noodles in mushroom curry sauce, the taste was good but unfortunately there were no fresh mushrooms, which would have improved the dish even more.

Very nice service that almost reads your wishes from your eyes. Very accommodating with special requests and great solution-oriented. In addition, the schnitzel was very tasty and the sauce was delicious and didn't leak anything. The fries can do something too.

All in all, the food was okay but nothing extraordinary. My wife had a salad. Unfortunately, this one was a bit “too simple” for the price. A few tomatoes, peppers or corn or something similar should already be in there. I had the venison meatloaf which was very good. The service was great, the food came quickly but could have been a bit warmer. The guest room is very lovingly designed.

It was delicious, the place is really pretty and the waiter was very friendly. Please note they do not take card payments. But don’t hesitate to visit them, it’s perfect!

As always a celebration. I've been to the Moselaner at fairly long intervals over the last 8 years. Sometimes outside in the tent, sometimes inside. The rooms are a mixture of waiting room and hunting room. 🤔 You have to like it. The service is always excellent as is the food. The menu had always changed, with the exception of a few classics. For me the top address for very good food at a very good price.

Schnitzel with Gorgonzola (unfortunately from the deep fryer) Surf and Turf unfortunately only 2 small shrimps and they were fried to death. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

We had a delicious meal of the day and then a super tasty, highly recommended apple strudel with ice cream. We had reserved the seats in advance. The service and the boss were very nice, flexible and helpful. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Food was edible. Some waiters were really strange and often lost track of their tables and often forgot things for us.

Unfortunately, our food wasn't that good and the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. My schnitzel was overly crispy. The breading was way too dark, very hard and it wasn't fried in the fat in the pan. Unfortunately the sauce tasted like a ready-made sauce. It's a shame because the restaurant was highly recommended to us.

Home cooking. Every day there is a special daily menu. Definitely worth it if you work in the Zewen/Euren area for your lunch break. Take-away food is also offered and, if you make an advance telephone call, you won't have to wait long. Portions are always generous and you will usually be more than full. My favorite is schnitzel or meatloaf in pepper sauce with fries. The salad dressing is also very good and must be mentioned. It should be noted that there is only cash payment, which I don't find tragic.

Gutes deutsches Essen an der Mosel. Der Ort ist etwas schwierig mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Man fährt ein Stück auf dem Fahrradweg an der Mosel, bis man zum Restaurant kommt. Dort ist ein Parkplatz. Besser gleich mit dem Fahrrad kommen 😉

Sind durch Zufall an dieses Lokal da wir außerhalb Trier im Urlaub waren. Ein schönes Lokal, großer gemütlicher Biergarten. Super leckeres und reichhaltiges Essen und eine Top Bedienung. Es steht fest, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren gestern zum wiederholten Mal zu Gast im Biergarten um die letzten Sonnenstrahlen zu genießen. Man sitzt hier ganz gemütlich und lauschig im Grünen nahe der Mosel. Das Essen ist biergartentauglich lecker und kommt heiß und recht zügig an den Tisch. Die Bedienungen sind trotz vollem Biergarten immer freundlich und auch ganz gut auf Zack! Das einzige was ich verändern würde - ich würde am Eingang vom Biergarten ein großes Schild aufstellen „Sie werden platziert“ - es gab jedesmal wenn wir hier zu Gast waren totale Diskussionen und unschönen Szenen, weil sich die Leute einfach an irgendwelche vermeintlich freien Tische gesetzt haben, ohne dass sie vorher reserviert hatten - das Resultat ist Ärger und Streit zwischen gefrusteten Gästen und den armen Bedienungen. Also - stellt doch entweder ein Schild auf oder stellt kleine Resiert-Schilder auf die Tische - das erspart einfach so viel Ärger. Komischerweise sind es fast ausschließlich Gäste Ü65, die sich ohne Reservierung ganz selbstverständlich an die Tische setzen, obwohl andere am Eingang stehen und warten um zu fragen ob noch Platz ist…

Empfehlenswerter Haltepunkt auf dem Radweg links der Mosel! Ruhiges Plätzchen, netter Service, gutes Essen und gut ausgewählte Weine aus der Nähe!

Sehr idyllischer Ort, gut bürgerliche Küche. Das Restaurant liegt gut versteckt am Muselufer. Leider ist nur Barzahlung möglich.

Zum Geschäftsessen mit 6 Personen sind wir sehr aufmerksam und freundlich bewirtet worden. Alle Getränke und Speisen waren sehr gut und haben uns prima geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren - wie schon mehrfach beschrieben - großzügig, die Preise sind angemessen. Reservierung ist wohl empfehlenswert. Umfangreiches Angebot für die die netten Dinge nach dem Hauptgang. Liegt für Radler an der Mosel ein klein wenig versteckt, es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, wenn man dort eine Pause einplant.

Essen super. Aber ohne Reservierung kein Platz im Biergarten zu bekommen. Und macht um 20 Uhr zu 😞

Außergewöhnlich gute Schnitzel, große Portionen und faire Preise. Das ist das Fazit unseres Besuches. Schön draußen sitzen kann man noch dazu. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Gute Einkehrmöglichkeit am Moselradweg.

Heute spontan wieder eingekehrt und wie immer alles bestens. Platz auf der Sommerterrasse bekommen. Das Essen war wieder sehr lecker und der Service ebenfalls. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei.

Sehr große Portionen, nur die Hälfte geschafft. Rest wird aber gerne eingepackt. Sehr nette Bedienung und der Außenbereich ist gemütlich. 100 % Empfehlung.

Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen. Das Ambiente war super, das Personal war gut organisiert und sehr freundlich und das Essen war der Hammer!!! Wir hatten das Surf ans Turf und den Salat mit Garnelen. Beides nur zu empfehlen. Endlich mal ein Restaurant wo am Garnelen nicht gespart wird. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch mit dem Rollstuhl (ich fahre E-Rolli) war alles kein Problem. Wir haben draußen gesessen und der Kies lies dich super befahren, gerne wieder!
