The food was good, but nothing special. The prices are too high. The worst thing was the chairs (inside!) – simple, wobbly wooden folding chairs, very uncomfortable.

The food was delicious. What we all disliked were the tables and chairs. The tables were so low that you could barely kneel underneath them, and some of the chairs were folding chairs like you'd find in a garden. Neither was exactly ideal for a relaxing evening.

Super tasty food and such a nice vibe! Loved the atmosphere and the overall experience. Will definitely come back!

We were there with two couples and found the prices completely unreasonable. €4.90 per water bottle, which was clearly filled with tap water. Our bill came to €386, and I left the restaurant feeling hungry. All in all, I definitely expected much more for that price. Not to mention that I was sitting on a wooden folding chair. So, all in all, the concept is nice and the service is very friendly, the atmosphere is very cozy, but the prices are ABSOLUTELY OVERWHELMING.

All the appetizers, the octopus, caviar, and Robert were excellent!

We came here on a recommendation. The tapas we ordered were okay. They were pretty standard and nothing special. The spinach croquettes were disappointing, as there were only traces of spinach, too much batter. We're used to it differently, but the taste was okay. We didn't understand the cold salsa. Everything was reasonably priced. The service was rather distant and uninspiring. We were the first guests, so maybe that's why we were a bit lackluster! Unfortunately, Cava wasn't available, but the Navarra Rose was very tasty. I can't imagine they have scampi here?! Perhaps they have shrimp/prawns?! It wasn't good enough for a better score this evening; tastes and opinions are subjective. Good luck in the future!

We enjoyed our 10th wedding anniversary outside on the terrace with fantastic food and a super friendly family business. When it's busy, you'll need a little patience, as the waiters have to walk a long way. If you want to enjoy food in a great atmosphere, this is the place for you. The dates were a great recommendation.

We had three dishes, two of which were good and flavorful. However, one of them didn't have the advertised main ingredient. The prices of the regional wines were inflated. Extremely positive: friendly, competent service. I would try it again.

Der Abend begann viel versprechend. Das Lokal einladend und die Terrasse vor dem Show-Room (Mercedes Garage). Die Bestellung haben wir klar deklariert und gesagt, dass meine Frau warme und ich kalte Tapas bekommen möchten, aber gemeinsam das Essen einnehmen wollen. Über den ganzen Abend haben sich die Sprachprobleme der Bedienung gehäuft. Ich bekam das Essen (kalte Speisen) alleine. Nach ca. 3/4 Std. bekam auch meine Frau das Essen (warme Speisen) und auch sie, ass alleine. Zum Schluss sagte ich (Brandy-Liebhaber) ich würde den Cardenal Mendoze für 22.— gerne haben, aber er solle am Tisch eingeschenkt werden. Die sehr arrogante Bedienung machte es anders, brachte mir den Brandy eingeschenkt und präsentierte die Flasche anschliessend. Diese was der Falsche. Zum Glück wurde wenigstens der Richtige verrechnet. Schade der Service ist das Wichtigste, aber wenn es dem Chef (war nie bei den Gästen) am Arsch vorbei geht, dann kommen halt solche Bewertungen heraus. Schade…..

The evening began promisingly. The restaurant was inviting, and the terrace in front of the showroom (Mercedes Garage) was lovely. We clearly stated our order and said that my wife wanted hot tapas and I cold, but that we wanted to eat together. Throughout the evening, the waitress' language problems increased. I received the meal (cold dishes) alone. After about 45 minutes, my wife also received the meal (hot dishes), and she also ate alone. In the end, I (a brandy lover) said I would like the Cardenal Mendoze for 22.00, but it should be poured at the table. The waitress changed her mind, poured me the brandy, and then presented the bottle. But it was the wrong one. Luckily, at least the correct one was billed. It's a shame that service is the most important thing, but when the boss (who never saw the guests) doesn't care about the guests, then these are the kind of reviews that come out. I cannot and will not answer the questions below. Since I can not recommend this restaurant, sorry

Definitely the worst Spanish restaurant I've ever eaten at... The gambas al ajillo were cheap shrimp warmed up in the microwave. No garlic or any other flavor in the oil. The meatballs were dry from the microwave. The sauce was something from Maggi or Kraft... The little meatballs tasted like they came from a packet. But the waitress was probably from Spain...

I'm always happy to eat here because the food is always delicious. I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed. The service is very friendly; I highly recommend it. Plus, the whole atmosphere exudes a sense of calm.

The tapas and dishes are excellent and can easily compete with the Spanish original. The wine list also leaves nothing to be desired. For us the best tapas bar in Trier and the surrounding area and one of our favorite places to spend a special, enjoyable evening. We have been going to Robertino's for years and have never been disappointed, whether we were a couple or a larger group. The changing selection of dishes is always at the highest level, as are the wines and spirits, so there is something for every taste. You can always come up with new culinary delights and on special days such as Valentine's Day or New Year's Eve there are special multi-course menu creations. The restaurant exudes a cozy atmosphere and the eye quickly recognizes the attention to detail in the furnishings. OK, the chairs could be a bit more comfortable, especially if you sit for longer (and the older you get ;-). The service staff serve with welcoming hospitality and professional, competent relaxedness and Robert is always available if something doesn't fit or if you make a special request. In everything at Robertino's you can feel the desire to continually provide the highest level of customer service. We appreciate that. No, it's not the cheapest restaurant for every day, but in our opinion the quality of the food combined with the service, interior and the all-round experience is absolutely worth the price-performance ratio. Since the small restaurant is no longer an insider tip, we recommend making a reservation in advance.

For the gastronomic scene of Trier, this place is a gem. The food is more towards tapas,with an interesting choice the wines are good. The atmosphere is of Parisian bistro and the service was on point. Certainly a place to revisit.

It seems a little secret and exclusive to take a seat on the small, creatively arranged terrace in cozy temperatures. You won't be alone for long - so a reservation is recommended. The card is available via QR code and in no time you are in Spain. We chose goat cheese in honey, the albondigas (delicious!), prawns and grilled vegetables along with aioli and bread. Then we chose wine and were absolutely thrilled to be able to taste Spanish white wines! We also treated ourselves to one of the best red wines and enjoyed every drop. What particularly appealed to me personally was that the selection did not match that of the other tapas restaurants. You can experience some really magical moments here. We will be happy to come back, after all there are still dishes on the menu that we haven't been able to try yet. Also in the restaurant itself, where you can sit very comfortably in a charming ambience. There is also music and if you fancy pasta you will get your money's worth. Gracias por la noche 🍷🍇🧀🎶

For me/us, what makes a good restaurant is that the owner is ALWAYS present and is a passionate host and expert in gastronomy. Even on busy days, the service and attention at the table was never lacking! I tried everything in the order: Beramendi Chardonnay Navarra 13.0%Vol Vina del Oja - Rioja Rioja 13.0%Vol and Verdejo Classic 2022 Rueda 13.5%Vol The tapas are delicious. Jamón de pata negra, manchego and gambas alioli. The portions had a good price-quality and quantity ratio. The octopus “specialty dish” was delicious. Only this one was on the small side as a portion for a main course. My husband thought the potato mash was “the best thing ever” with a secret ingredient in the taste. The service was very attentive and friendly. It was new staff who were still learning, but who did their best to meet all our wishes. The interior is very cozy. Benches are small but the ambiance gives a good feeling. The tables have table linen, and I always give a plus point for that. We had a wonderful evening! Thank you!

I can't understand the many positive reviews. I had dinner there with my wife today. Table reserved for 2 people. You sit outside on the sidewalk with your shoulder against the window of a Mercedes car dealership with busy car traffic. In addition, the small tables are slanted due to the narrow, sloping sidewalk. I'm wondering how you even get permission for this. In relation to the quality, the food was not in any price-performance ratio for my taste. (In our case over 100 euros) In addition, the waitresses hardly spoke any German. The atmosphere was more than uncomfortable.

A great Italian (Spanish) style restaurant where we had a great birthday. The boss had good service and carefully prepared off-menu pasta to meet our needs at no extra cost. The quality of the food is very good, the preparation is exquisite, the taste is probably one of the best in Germany, and the price is reasonable. We ordered small cakes for dessert after the meal, and the boss specially prepared candles to light to celebrate the birthday. Great value for money! The price of white wine is also very reasonable and there are no arbitrary charges! Highly recommend this place to friends who like Southern European-style dishes! 👍

Wir hatten einen tollen Tisch im sehenswerten vorderen Teil der Vinothek & Tapasbar mit Theke und unzähligen Weinflaschen. Ein schönes Ambiente, in dem wir uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt haben. Wir haben uns durch die verschiedenen Tapas-Speisen geschlemmt, dazu herrlichen Wein getrunken und hatten auch noch ein Dessert. Es war alles sehr lecker. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich. Wir genossen einen schönen Abend. Sehenswert sind übrigens auch die Bilder auf der Damen- und Herrentoilette.

Delicious tapas at rather ambitious prices - that's what you're used to from Robertino's. So I took 4 friends with me to the tapas bar: unfortunately this visit ended with a huge disappointment for all of us, because we discovered that smoking was tolerated in the restaurant: an absolute no-go!

A real alternative in Trier's gastronomy: great tapas in a large selection, deliciously prepared and served. Friendly, attentive service in a super cozy atmosphere. Remarkably clean toilet with “full facilities” (unfortunately very rare, so I mention it).

Robertinos Tapasbar kannte ich als Restaurant, das bis spät leckere Speisen und Getränke anbietet. So ging ich mit vier Freunden zum gemeinsamen Abendessen hin: der Abend verlief eher unspektakulär, aber endete traurig: denn nach 22 Uhr wurde im Lokal geraucht, offensichtlich vom Personal toleriert. Der Qualm war eklig - und das geht überhaupt nicht in einem Nichtraucherlokal! Somit werden wir beim nächsten Mal anderswo speisen - und ich kann das "Robertinos" auch nicht mehr empfehlen.

A cozy, extravagant tapas bar. Very good attentive service, good products, great wine selection. Again and again

This evening we had dinner at Robertinos again after several months. After a friendly welcome and a delicious Spanish rosé sparkling wine, we looked forward to the various warm tapas. The olive oil standing at the table, which used to be from "Can 2 Pedros", still came from the old bottle, but the label had been removed and the oil was not recognizable as olive oil and was completely tasteless. The Vitello Tonnato as a starter is recommended, even if the tuna was a bit tough to cut. Unfortunately we were also disappointed with two warm tapas. The prawns were too dry and the cod croquetas tasted too strongly of fish. On the other hand, sherry chicken, patatas bravas, baked feta and pimientos de padron were of the usual good quality and the dessert was also good.

Yesterday evening we visited this small, beautiful Spanish restaurant with our friends - the ambience was excellent, the service was very attentive, not intrusive, but still communicative.
