Wir waren mit 6 Leuten dort. Wir haben kurzfristig noch einen Tisch bekommen, man sollte aber besser vorher reservieren. Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service toll! Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war reichhaltig und etwas ganz Besonderes. Wir würden immer wieder dort essen!

Gute Weinwirtschaft in zentraler Lage. Die Weinwirtschaft Friedrich-Wilhelm in Trier ist eine gute Adresse, wenn man in der Innenstadt lecker essen und einen guten Wein trinken möchte. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch – nicht weit vom Zentrum, der Basilika und C&A entfernt – und damit ideal für eine Pause beim Stadtbesuch. Das Essen war lecker, und auch das Personal machte einen engagierten, freundlichen Eindruck. Man merkt, dass hier bemüht und aufmerksam gearbeitet wird. Das Ambiente ist eher klassisch-rustikal im Stil einer Weinstube. Das passt sicher gut zum Konzept, trifft persönlich aber nicht ganz meinen Geschmack. Zusätzlich hängen Bilder aus, die man auch erwerben kann – ein nettes Detail, auch wenn es das Gesamtbild etwas speziell macht. Insgesamt eine solide, angenehme Adresse für gutes Essen und Wein in zentraler Trierer Lage. Für mich 4 von 5 Sternen.

Eine gute Location im Herzen von Trier. Ich frage mich allerdings wie lange man sich als Gast die Getränke Preise noch leisten kann. Ein Wein Riesling Trocken 0,1 Ltr. und eine große Flasche Wasser medium für über 12,00 € sorry aber das ist einfach zu teuer.

Die Weinwirtschaft ist ein absolutes Muss in Trier...Sowohl im Restaurant als auch im Garten ist das Ambiente sehr geschmackvoll und lädt zum Verweilen ein.Wir haben schon verschiedene Gerichte gekostet und sind jedes Mal begeistert.Die hohe Qualität der zubereiteten Lebensmittel schmeckt man mit jedem Bissen heraus.Zur Zeit ist der Spargel mit Lachs sehr zu empfehlen. Ein absoluter Gaumenschmaus und auch das Auge isst hier mit. Die Speisen sind sehr liebevoll angerichtet.Die Gastfreundschaft und der wunderbare Service runden einen Aufenthalt in der Weinwirtschaft ab und man fühlt sehr verwöhnt.Wir wurden bei der Weinauswahl beraten und haben schnell unser Tröpfchen gefunden. Wir haben heute im Weingut Friedrich Wilhelm in Trier zu Mittag gegessen und waren rundum zufrieden. Es gibt eine wechselnde Mittagskarte mit preiswerteren Gerichten, aber wir haben uns für À la carte entschieden, da uns keines der Wochenangebote ansprach. Wir wählten den großen Salat mit Ziegenkäse und die hausgemachten Gnocchi mit Salbei. Die Gnocchi waren eindeutig frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker – wunderbar mediterran gewürzt und perfekt gekocht. Die Portion war angemessen und sättigend. Auch der Salat war großzügig, wunderschön angerichtet, und der separat servierte Ziegenkäse passte hervorragend dazu. Besonders gut hat uns die Atmosphäre gefallen. Der Garten ist schön und trotz der zentralen Lage überraschend ruhig. Er liegt etwas abseits vom Trubel der Innenstadt und ist daher ideal für ein entspanntes Mittagessen. Der Service war während unseres gesamten Besuchs außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt bietet das Weingut eine sehr gute Gastronomie mit qualitativ hochwertigen Speisen, einem angenehmen Ambiente und professionellem Service. Für uns sind es absolut verdiente 4 Sterne. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um weitere Gerichte von der Speisekarte zu probieren, auch wenn dieser Besuch noch nicht ganz den gewissen „Wow-Effekt“ hatte.

Die Weinwirtschaft Friedrich Wilhelm in Trier schafft etwas, das man nicht oft erlebt: Ein Abendessen mit Escape-Room-Elementen und Überraschungsmenü — allerdings organisatorisch. Das Essen war wirklich gut. Wenn man denn die passenden Getränke rechtzeitig dazu bekommt. Unsere Getränke kamen nämlich erst nach der Hauptspeise. So konnten wir immerhin testen, wie trocken ein Riesling ohne Riesling schmeckt. Bei über 30 Grad wurden wir zunächst in die pralle Sonne gesetzt, obwohl mehrere Tische im Schatten frei waren. Auf Nachfrage hieß es nur, wir hätten „zu spät reserviert“. Die kreative Lösung entstand dann gemeinsam mit dem Service: Wir haben unseren Tisch einfach selbst ein paar Meter in den Schatten geschoben. Teamwork wird hier offenbar großgeschrieben. Der Service wirkte insgesamt maximal ausgelastet. Nachfragen nach weiteren Getränken, Dessert oder einfach nur einem kurzen Lebenszeichen blieben den ganzen Abend aus. Brot gab es für alle anderen Tische — wir interpretieren das als modernes Intervallfasten. Besonders unterhaltsam war allerdings das Live-Programm am Nachbartisch: Die Dame bekam ihre Vorspeise, der Herr durfte ihr dabei zusehen. Danach kamen plötzlich beide Hauptgänge mitten während der noch fehlenden Vorspeise des Herrn. Die Hauptspeisen gingen zurück. Kurz darauf erschien dann überraschend die Nachspeise des Herrn — ein mutiger dramaturgischer Kniff. Wenige Minuten später kamen erneut die Hauptgänge, diesmal immerhin ausreichend abgekühlt. Auch optisch hatte der Service seinen eigenen Stil. Ein Kellner in kurzer Hose und Sportschuhen wirkte, als müsste er nach der Schicht direkt noch zum Basketballtraining. Lockerer Mosel-Lifestyle vielleicht. Fazit: Essen gut, Organisation eher experimentell. Wer kulinarisch etwas Geduld mitbringt und Improvisationstheater mag, könnte hier einen sehr erinnerungswürdigen Abend erleben.

Leckeres Essen, kleine Karte - positiv, schneller Service und freundlich

Wir waren heute Abend nach dem Verkaufsoffenen Sonntag mal wieder in der Weinwirtschaft essen. Das essen und der Wein war wieder exzellent.

wunderbarer Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien, innen hat es jedoch auch einen guten Eindruck gemacht. Wohl das beste cordon bleu meines Lebens. Außen crispy innen super juicy. Die "Tapas-Platte" war auch super facettenreich und lecker, hier können aber auch locker 3 Personen von Essen. Die Weinkarte lässt wohl auch keine Wünsche offen.

Aufgrund positiver Erfahrungen beim Mittagstisch, sind wir abends auch mal hier gewesen. Das Ambiente ist nett, die Gerichte sind abwechslungsreich. Die Preise sind größtenteils höher als bei anderen Restaurants in Trier, die Portionen groß. Geschmacklich wurden unsere hohen Erwartungen nicht ganz erfüllt, das Essen war zwar hübsch angerichtet, traf aber irgendwie nicht so recht unseren Geschmack. Die Linsensuppe hätte für meinen Geschmack etwas mehr gewürzt sein dürfen, das Steak war selbst mir etwas zu dick. Fazit: Ich jammere auf hohem Niveau, aber bei höheren Preisen ist meine Erwartung auch größer.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente. Die Bedienungen waren alle sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, trotzdem haben wir noch einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen war wirkkich sehr gut. Zu empfehlen die Rote-Bete-Knödel und die Roulade. Fantastischer Geschmack. Große Weinauswahl mit guter Beratung.

Dieses Restaurant verdient definitiv 5 Sterne. Das Essen war fantastisch, der Service außergewöhnlich. Wir haben viel bestellt und alles war einfach köstlich. Wir hatten Carpaccio, Zwiebelsuppe, Wiener Schnitzel und ein vom Küchenchef empfohlenes Spezialgericht, dessen Namen wir leider nicht kennen. Auch das Bier war sehr lecker. Wir haben den Hund des Besitzers gesehen, der sich an einigen Tischen aufhielt und sich vorbildlich benahm. 🐶

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort und sind absolut begeistert! Trotz unserer Gruppengröße lief alles reibungslos und der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen war etwas ganz Besonderes – vor allem das Steak war ein Traum, butterweich und perfekt zubereitet. Geschmacklich einfach auf höchstem Niveau. Auch die Tapas zur Vorspeise absolut empfehlenswert. Ein rundum gelungener Abend – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team 😃

Tolles Restaurant,sehr gutes Essen und der Service ist toll.

Wir haben sehr gut zum angemessenen Preis gegessen. Wir hatten verschiedene Vor- und Hauptgerichte. Die Zwiebelsuppe war lecker und mit frischen Toppings verfeinert. Die Kürbissuppe war toll zubereitet und ebenfalls sehr geschmackvoll. Die Rinderroulade war zubereitet wie früher von Oma und die Steaks waren auf den Punkt. Als Soße hatte ich mir den Bratenjus dazu bestellt. War unbeschreiblich lecker und jede einzelne Pommes musste ich reintunken. Der Kellner war klasse und sehr aufmerksam. Einziger Kritikpunkt, ansonsten hätte ich 5 Sterne vergeben: der Weißwein hätte deutlich kälter sein müssen. Er wäre laut Kellner zwar aus dem Kühlschrank, dann liegt er aber in der falschen Kühlzone. Wir waren uns am Tisch einig, dass er mindestens 14 Grad, eher mehr hatte.

Wir besuchten dieses Restaurant an einem Montag zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr. Die Einrichtung ist gehoben und zielt eindeutig auf ein gehobenes Ambiente ab. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die umfangreiche Weinkarte mit einer großen Auswahl an Weinen im Glas und Flaschenweinen – ein echtes Plus. Wir bestellten Maultaschen und für die beiden anderen Gäste Tapas. Die Tapasplatte war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, mit vielen verschiedenen Komponenten, darunter auch einige frittierte. Insgesamt war sie reichhaltig und schmackhaft und bot mit rund 30 Euro pro Person ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Maultaschen waren sehr gut zubereitet, wirkten hausgemacht und wurden mit einer leckeren Zwiebelsoße und einem kleinen Beilagensalat serviert. Das Salatdressing war etwas mild und hätte etwas mehr Würze vertragen können. Mit 25 Euro erscheint die Portion jedoch überteuert, insbesondere da ein traditioneller schwäbischer Kartoffelsalat eine passendere und sättigendere Beilage gewesen wäre. Der Service ist freundlich und bemüht, aber das Tempo entspricht nicht ganz dem gehobenen Anspruch und dem Preisniveau des Restaurants. Insgesamt war es kein schlechtes Erlebnis, aber die Preise erscheinen angesichts des Gebotenen überteuert. In Trier gibt es bessere Möglichkeiten, ein gutes Glas Wein mit einer preiswerten Speiseplatte zu genießen.

Das Essen war hervorragend, besonders das Dessert, die Crème brûlée.

Was soll ich sagen? Ich war mega begeistert. Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe zum Essen und Weinprobe dort. Also wirklich sehr sehr gut. Danke an den Inhaber der seine Weine mit soviel Überzeugung und Herzblut präsentierrt hat. Wirklich zu empfehlen.

Classic German and regional cuisine, creatively and deliciously prepared. Portions are generous, too. Rustic ambiance in a historic building. All in all, highly recommended.

A very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service (despite the busyness), very good food, and a nice selection of regional wines (bottles and by the glass). The dishes are attractively presented and tasty, and there are also some unusual dishes (such as the fantastic beetroot dumplings). The quality was high, and our portions were still easily enough to satisfy our hunger after a day of hiking. After dinner, we got chatting about the wines with a friendly gentleman at the next table: It was the owner, who spontaneously arranged a small wine tasting. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return here again. Thank you very much!

The food was truly excellent. Each course was prepared with care, harmonious in flavor, and made from high-quality ingredients. I particularly remember the dessert – a chocolate cake with a liquid center that was not only delicious but also beautifully and creatively presented. The portions are very generous, so bring a big appetite! The service was also first-class: attentive, friendly, and professional, without being intrusive. You can just tell that the work here is done with real passion. I highly recommend the Weinwirtschaft – it was an all-round wonderful evening! I'm already looking forward to the next time.

Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday after doing a wine tasting at Rinke the night before. As expected, this place was great. Well decorated near the Basilica, and quietly tucked away. We had a chicken cordon Bleu and a steak "special" with the pfifferling mushrooms. The service was great, the food was even better, and the wine was already known to be amazing. Would go back here whenever we're in Trier and recommend it to anyone looking for a hearty meal. The portions were more than enough to have some leftovers.

Advertises with the slogan "Something for everyone." Two vegan soups in total on the daily and special menu are not an option for people with ethical diets, but rather an exclusion. A pity.

We went there because we wanted good, home-style food. The wine bar is busy, and you think it can only be good... We had a cordon bleu and a schnitzel. The chef messed up both of them badly. Both were over-fried and dry. The taste was also rather subpar. It's a shame that a German restaurant like this couldn't get the classic dishes right. Feedback was given to the waiters.

We visited the Friedrich-Wilhelm winery on a balmy summer evening and were able to sit in the garden. Along with an excellent wine tasting from the Rinke winery, we enjoyed the tapas, which we highly recommend. They were delicious! The portions were so generous that we unfortunately couldn't finish everything—despite our best efforts.

We were booked with a large group... We had a reservation outside at a very long table... The food was pre-ordered and was served like a barracks yard. It was more reminiscent of a canteen than a restaurant. The price and the dish (cordon bleu) didn't match. If you're charging €25, the kitchen should be set up accordingly... 5-star reviews don't reflect reality...

Enjoying the outdoors in the city center is a great experience here. Unfortunately, rain was forecast, so we were served excellently inside. All the dishes were very good, both visually and tasted great. The veal lasagna deserves special praise; I even liked it better than my own 😉 Delicious!😋

We chose this restaurant for our dinner after our civil wedding, and it was wonderful. From the initial discussion to the final meal, everything went smoothly, including our special requests. Service is totally overwhelmed and as a result you fall into a barracks tone. (Probably no exception) 1 person for the entire terrace is simply not possible. We preferred to spend the rest of the evening somewhere else. Food was okay for the price.

The first step into the restaurant began with meeting Mr. Rinke at the door. The impression is of a person who cares about not a single guest, even a random one like us. Everything that followed only confirmed this. When choosing food, the chef recommended fish that was not on the menu - thank him 20 times! Everything is very tasty! We had our first experience with Moselle wine. Unfortunately, it did not fall into my taste range; I think it turned out to be too complex. We didn’t finish the bottle, which I now regret, of course. The wine has been processed to every drop. The obsessive thought that I need to go back. Thank you again Mr. Rinke!

For my birthday, I ordered catered food from the winery after we had eaten there several times recently. That was the best decision ever. ALL guests loved the food and received nothing but compliments. The clarification in advance with Alex Rinke was super uncomplicated and reliable. All in all, highly recommended if you want a stress-free celebration. Big thanks to Ali & Alex!!

Super tasty and super nice to sit and enjoy. The young man (Kasper) who served us was also super nice and accommodating. We really enjoyed the tapas, thanks to the kitchen! Unfortunately, the service was otherwise very hectic and almost turned us away because “many tables were reserved in the evening”. We were there at 3:00 p.m. Other interested guests were turned away, even though a maximum of 50% of the tables were occupied.

The reason for deducting all stars is that after a long walk to this address - and from our point of view completely without reason - we were not welcome there and it was therefore not possible for us to stop off there. As follows: We came into the vineyard and it was very empty and wanted to sit outside at one of the many tables. We were called back very harshly by the service “Hello! Can I help you in any way?” - but in a tone as if we had entered someone else's house as criminals, a very, very unfriendly reception!!!! We understood that apparently you should be seated and wait at the entrance. We then looked at the entrance to see if there was any evidence of this. And discovered that a sign with the request to wait was tipped over there... NO, IT'S CLEAR!!!?!!! Unfortunately we had already lost the desire to have a little wine there!!!

Wir sind des Öfteren Gast in diesem wunderbaren Haus. Jeder Besuch auch mit Gästen war eine Freude. Wir wurden auch in der Getränkeauswahl immer sehr gut beraten. Gastfreundlichkeit wird hier großgeschrieben. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Fazit: Gerne immer wieder. Eine deutliche Empfehlung!

We stopped there after a wine tasting. The service took a little long, but it was friendly. It is the first restaurant to offer beef roulade without bacon and is therefore a dream for me. The dishes are above average in price, but really tasty and attractively presented. There are dried flowers on some of the dishes...really beautiful

Die Speisen sind stets frisch zubereitet, von höchster Qualität und geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt. Ob Fisch, Fleisch oder vegetarische Gerichte – hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten. Die Weinauswahl ist beeindruckend und harmoniert perfekt mit den angebotenen Speisen.

Modern, creative cuisine with unusual dishes. The mix of styles of European and oriental influences makes choosing difficult, but the great service team has good recommendations. A firework of flavors is served, every bite is different, exciting and the best entertainment for the palate. There was a wine accompaniment, the recommendations were appropriate and excellent. We have been guests at the winery several times now. In addition to the excellent food we were able to enjoy, the cozy atmosphere and the first-class wines, the service was, as always, very courteous and friendly. As always, we felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit.

If you are not only hungry but also thirsty, you should bring drinks with you. Too bad.

Food and service top. What impressed me most, however, was the perfect size of the table. They are apparently too big for some guests. Well, what can I say, I was apparently lucky and was able to get hold of an optimally sized copy 👌

The food was very tasty. The tapas are simply great.

We went here for lunch for the first time this week and unfortunately we were very disappointed. Unfortunately, the starter of beef broth wasn't good, although it's actually not a heavy dish. The dessert was quite ok There are certainly better addresses in Trier

We were 3 people with 1 dog and it was great again! Table in a niche so the dog had peace and quiet and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. We felt really comfortable. And the food, as always, was simply delicious!

Nice atmosphere, friendly service and very tasty food. We'd love to come back!
