I ordered the new quinoa salad and asked to return it as the quinoa was undercooked ( it was crunchy). There was no apology from the waiter - more of a grunt.. maybe my message was lost in translation- it was very busy but politeness and a smile don’t cost anything ..!! I did reorder pasta as I thought you couldn’t get this wrong - it was ok nothing special - maybe I should have ordered the pizza !! If you cannot handle the pace of working in a busy restaurant - don’t work as waiter - the back kitchen would have been better suited to my waiter!!

Wir waren wirklich zufrieden und fanden es angenehm, daß auf Bitte auch die Beschallung etwas heruntergepegelt wurde. Das ASH ist eine gute Empfehlung und wir werden wiederkommen.

Good location near hotels/public transport/walking. Good food if you are looking for USA based stuff. Nora, in particular, is an amazing server/bartender!

By far the worst tortellini I've ever eaten... The chili cheese nuggets were great.

Very unfriendly. Without any announcement (piece of paper or anything else) that you only have to pay with the card from €20 onwards. If you don't see that, you'll be thrown out. Without a sign or information that payment with card is only possible from 20€. Not recommended. Because it is usually possible to pay by card from 5/10€. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

Pub and bar hopping around the wonderful Huemarkt we decided to drop into Starnberger Alm and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, interior is superb, pine wood features abound throughout the tavern, wonderful decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this tavern both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Huemarkt that when we visited in late December was packed with the famous Huemarkt Christmas Market in full swing. We sat outside were we ordered their own brewed helles beer ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great tavern we were in . My beer was really good, a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this tavern, it was just so good being in such a lovely tavern enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Starnberger Alm we had a great time. Starnberger Alm is easy to locate on Huemarkt, in my opinion one of the most beautiful square's in Cologne. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the Old Town of Cologne.

A bit too dark for me personally - definitely nice in the summer when you can sit outside.

It really hurts that I have to write this review, but my experience from Saturday still sounds like... I've actually always been very happy with the food and the prices. On Saturday (around 6:00-6:30 p.m.) I bought a Dürüm kebab with veal. I saw that there was very little meat left on the skewer, but I didn't think anything of it - which was a mistake. About half of the meat (and therefore also the kebab) consisted of cartilage. Every now and then one can be there, I don't want to complain BUT it really wasn't edible anymore! Especially because the rest of the “meat” was super fatty and not as nice as usual. Well, maybe it was my fault when I saw the skewer, but I actually expect a little more honesty and customer orientation from an otherwise really good shop. Conclusion: I will definitely stop by again, but not after lunchtime. At the moment I've lost all appetite for kebab... Just imagining how I kept hitting and biting cartilage makes me feel really sick.

Friends held their champagne reception there after the civil wedding in the Old Town Hall. The service staff was very attentive and friendly. The inner courtyard is beautiful and it was a big surprise for the guests to find such a large inner courtyard filled with plants in the middle of Cologne city center. The guest room was lovingly set up for dinner for another company and looked really great and inviting. I would like to visit the Consilium again on my next visit to Cologne.

Are here for the second time now. The schnitzel was really good and the service was on point. Were well served here. The Gilden Kölsch is definitely unusual for a North German, but you also have to jump over your shadow. But I'd love to come back.

Delivery service that brings really good food.

When I went to the sauna today, I ordered a small tarte flambée with spinach and salmon for €10.50 and was shocked at how tiny it has become (only the size of a hand and just 4 pieces of salmon on it). That's simply not enough for the price. I had it returned and it was kindly canceled for me. At that point, however, I had already been sitting in the restaurant for 25 minutes, which was all of my time in the sauna. My tip: Stop offering small tarte flambées if they are so tiny, but only one size. It was a bit unfortunate that there was no service in the sauna area, so only 3 stars for the ambience. However, 5 stars for the very nice and hard-working waiter, who even tried to get a cheaper price for the small tarte flambée from his superior (spoiler: it didn't work, but I could have ordered something on the house. Since the tarte flambée is now It was cold, so I skipped it). I learned from it and will no longer eat in the restaurant when visiting the sauna, but would rather get a small snack in the rose café.
