All in all, steak is actually very tasty, but I don't like this concept with the platters. If I want to fry my steak myself, I don't go to a restaurant. The price is quite high but it's no different compared to other steakhouses, so it's not a big point of criticism. Now we come to the service and unfortunately it is not at all worthy of a restaurant like this. I've been to this store several times now and everything went great when ordering steak. BUT we were there with colleagues twice in the evening around 8:30 p.m. and because the brownie was so delicious we just wanted to eat the brownie and drink coffee. There is a restaurant area and in the complex where the restaurant is there is an outdoor area where we wanted to sit and enjoy our brownie. The reason is because the restaurant smells extremely like meat and if you don't eat meat yourself it's extremely unpleasant. There were enough seats outside but we were denied the waiter's reason: we don't have enough staff to serve you here. Sorry, is that my problem? The restaurant was half empty because they don't have the capacity to serve a table 3 meters away at the reception who just want dessert? We sat down there discussing things back and forth, and the waiter was also not very accommodating and extremely unsympathetic. So there were 6 of us and we all took the offer of 3 desserts for a cheaper price. Waiter, yes, everything was recorded. Then at the end 4 of us went to the door and two stayed seated to pay. The waiter comes out of the corner in a very unfriendly manner, “yes, you still have to pay, you can’t just get up like that” is what he says at the table to the two colleagues who are sitting there and want to pay anyway. Then we paid and what's noticeable is that he only typed in the offer once so we paid 1.50 or so too much. Of course we wanted to get the money back, but the waiter said seriously that we only mentioned it once with the offer. So that's incredibly honest. Well at the end of the day we got our money back but it was really bad service.

Good quality meat, food was ready very quickly and side dishes are refilled free of charge upon request. Unfortunately, despite making a reservation for a birthday, we were placed directly in front of the side entrance. Although there is a protected main entrance, the side door was largely used. Opened every few minutes and we sat right in the train. Very uncomfortable and absolutely avoidable, the main entrance is only 10m further. In cold weather, the side door should simply remain closed The private parking space is also subject to a charge for customers, is that necessary?

Timo(n)? served us really well. We were on our toes, we didn't have to wait long for drinks. I had the 400g New York rump steak (the one with the typical fat edge!)... Unfortunately, my steak didn't have the fat edge that was even widely advertised! I ordered the steak classic medium... Got it on a hot stone, but maximum rare. Yes... Thanks to the stone, which is really hot, I was able to finish frying all the thin sections until the end. That's basically a good thing, but if I order a steak medium rare in a steak house, I want to have it delivered to the table and not cook it myself. In terms of quality, the meat was tender but quite stringy, so a lot had to be trimmed away. I don't even want to say much because that can always be the case. But today, just a few days later, I ate a 28 euro steak in a hotel, which I would always prefer to the 60 euro steak. See if it only cost 28 euros.

Great shop for steak lovers. The steak is served sizzling on a hot stone and you have to immediately move it to the cold stone. Then you can cut off the portions you want and cook them on the hot stone the way you want. If you want medium rare, you have to put the steak on the cold stone immediately after receiving it, you should know that. If the hot stone gets too cold, simply order a new one, just like with the side dishes, which can be ordered as desired free of charge. The meat was tender and delicious, the side dishes were great. We had the US hip stick and grilled vegetables.

Our visit to Abacco’s Steakhouse in Cologne was simply great and highly recommended. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Our waitress Viki deserves special mention – she was always attentive, friendly and there at exactly the right moment. The Aperol was excellently mixed and was perfect for a relaxed start to the evening. The atmosphere and ambience in the restaurant also rounded off our experience perfectly. We will definitely be back – a real highlight for steak lovers!

Was at Abacco’s Steakhouse Cologne several times. The food is delicious. But yesterday, May 2nd, 2025, the staff was unfortunately very unfriendly and sometimes aggressive. That's too bad. It's understandable that not every employee is in a good mood when the weather is warm and they're working for several hours, but the customers can't help it! Furthermore, the staff were generally careless yesterday.

Viki provided great service, very attentive, very friendly and accommodating. - Thanks for that! Unfortunately the air was a bit stuffy due to the warm stones. Value for money a little more expensive.

We were there for the first time and were simply satisfied and thrilled! The meat was to die for!!!

The food at Abaccos was mixed. The Chonabi bread was disappointing in terms of taste - simply not justified for the price as it was hardly seasoned. Unfortunately, the grilled vegetables were also too raw and not very aromatic. We were positively surprised by the cucumber salad, which was really fresh and tasty. The service was okay, although our request for a salt shaker was responded to, but it was empty - a bit inattentive. The ambience is quite nice, but the chairs are very uncomfortable, which somewhat detracted from the stay.

Am gestrigen Abend (18. April) haben sich meine Frau und ich auf ein gutes Steak im Abacco in Bonn gefreut und einen Tisch für Zwei um 18.30 Uhr vorab reserviert. Durch den Platzanweiser wurden wir an den uns zugedachten Tisch geleitet, der sich in der hintersten (wirklich hintersten und noch dazu dunklen) Ecke des Restaurants befand, einer spitz zulaufenden Nische. Auf die Frage, ob denn kein anderer Tisch verfügbar sei (mehr als die Hälfte aller Tische in der Mitte und an der Fensterfront waren noch frei), wurden wir durch den Platzanweiser auf einen Tisch direkt neben der Eingangstür verwiesen. Entweder hatten wir es hier mit einer ungelernten Aushilfskraft zu tun, dem auch noch jegliches Gespür für den Gast fehlt oder der Platzanweiser war einfach unwillig. Wir haben ihm jedenfalls durch unser Nachhaken und unsere Reaktion auf die zugedachten Tische - ohne jede Form der Unhöflichkeit - jedoch deutlich zu verstehen gegeben, dass beide unseren Ansprüchen nicht genügen. Seine Reaktion bestand darin, noch bevor er unsere Entscheidung abgewartet hat, sich einem Ober zuzuwenden und er hat uns stehen lassen. Wir können immer noch nicht nachvollziehen, wie man Gästen, die reserviert haben, ernsthaft solche Tische anbieten mag - keine Atmosphäre, keine Gemütlichkeit, Zugluft (im Fall des Tisches unmittelbar neben dem Eingang). Diese Tische, so sie denn unbedingt vorgehalten werden müssen, um wirklich auch noch den letzten Winkel des Restaurants "bestücken" zu können, sind eher Gästen ohne Reservierung als "letzte Möglichkeit" zu offerieren. Wir haben uns daher gestern Abend zum Gehen entschieden. Wir haben in der Vergangenheit das Abaccos-Restaurant in Bonn immer wieder gern nach Shoppingaufenthalten aufgesucht, werden es aber in Zukunft meiden. Es gibt genügend Alternativen, wo nicht versucht wird, den Gast am besten noch "in der Abstellkammer"  unterzubringen, um ja noch den letzten qm im Restaurant auszunutzen und wo man nicht einfach stehen gelassen wird, weil man anscheinend "Besseres" zu tun hat.

A real taste experience! We went to Abacco’s Steak in Cologne (right next to Motorworld) and it was simply fantastic. The food was delicious, the steaks were cooked to perfection and of the best quality. The service was also top – attentive, friendly and professional. Ambience, quality and service: everything at the highest level. Absolutely recommended – full 5 stars! We'll definitely be back!

An absolute highlight – perfect all around! I was at Abacco’s Steakhouse at the V8 Hotel in Cologne and I was really impressed! As soon as we entered we were greeted very warmly - the service was top from start to finish, super attentive, warm and professional. You immediately felt welcome. The ambience is modern, stylish and very clean, with a really pleasant atmosphere. You can tell that attention is paid to every detail here - from the furnishings to the cleanliness: simply A1! And then the food – simply MEGA good! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and full of flavor. The side dishes were also really tasty and fresh. You can tell that quality is being worked on here. The crowning finale was the dessert, and that was another real highlight - super tasty, prepared with love and simply the perfect end to a great meal. Conclusion: An unforgettable experience – top service, first-class food and a great atmosphere. I can only recommend Abacco’s Steakhouse to everyone and am already looking forward to my next visit! Price performance, top, I can only recommend it!!!!!

It is in the northwest of Cologne, next to Motorworld, and next to the V8 Hotel. Parking is very convenient and there are many locations. There are many restaurant locations, but even if it is not a holiday, the locations are still very tight. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance. Swiss-style barbecue, you control the doneness of the meat on the heated rocks. The quality of the meat is very good. I recommend the ribeye because this kind of meat has a fatty part and can be grilled on the hot stone without being burnt. Pricey, but worth it The only drawback is that the tables are too small and the oil will splash out. When there are many people in the restaurant and there is no powerful smoke extraction equipment, it is easy to create a lot of smoke.

Went there on Saturday for a birthday and we were treated really well. The service was so pro-active. The food was great, the table really fit and then at the end they came with the cake and sang together. Many thanks to Tatjana, Gabi and a nice gentleman who served us very well. See you again 😁

Food only rated 3 stars because all 2 of us struggled with nausea the next day, which was definitely due to the food. According to the doctor this morning it was a food matter. The doctor also told my friend this independently because we ate the same thing. And that with a fillet steak, fries and the salad... We went there on a recommendation, but also for the first and last time.........!

It's quite loud, there's always a slight smell of grease in the air. The service was mixed average. The meat is simply overpriced for the quality offered and since you have to "roast" it yourself. The same quality can be found elsewhere at more down-to-earth prices.

Good address for a business lunch

Had dinner here this evening. Been to Abaccos for the second time. Dear Miguel served us and read all our wishes from our lips. Visually speaking, I think the location in Bonn is better, but I think the chain itself is great. Especially with the concept that you can always order as many side dishes as you want. One point of criticism would be that food is not always ready straight away, so you sometimes have to wait a bit for the side dishes.

Today was the first and definitely the last time here. I reserved a table for two people at the beginning of the week and that worked out okay so far. The waiter was very friendly and didn't seem stressed. When we had ordered everything, our steaks arrived after about 5-10 minutes, which really surprised us. It was clear to us that we had a "roasting stone", but it only gave off heat for what felt like a few minutes and that was it. After my first bite of the "US Prime Rump Steak 500gr" I was speechless, the meat was cold - it felt like it had just been thawed - and the silver skin wasn't even removed. Meat tasted almost like nothing and wasn't even seasoned. A sign of pre-roasting were a few light brown stripes on the “US Prime Steak”. If I look at the pictures from the other reviews here and compare them with my "US Prime Steak", then the chef probably had a bad day today. Reserved a table at 8:00 p.m., left the store again at around 9:00 p.m. and "lightened" your wallet a lot. Absolutely no recommendation from me, you can get much better quality elsewhere for the same money.
