Food only rated 3 stars because all 2 of us struggled with nausea the next day, which was definitely due to the food. According to the doctor this morning it was a food matter. Today was the first and definitely the last time here. I reserved a table for two people at the beginning of the week and that worked out okay so far. The waiter was very friendly and didn't seem stressed. When we had ordered everything, our steaks arrived after about 5-10 minutes, which really surprised us. It was clear to us that we had a "roasting stone", but it only gave off heat for what felt like a few minutes and that was it. After my first bite of the "US Prime Rump Steak 500gr" I was speechless, the meat was cold - it felt like it had just been thawed - and the silver skin wasn't even removed. Meat tasted almost like nothing and wasn't even seasoned. A sign of pre-roasting were a few light brown stripes on the “US Prime Steak”. If I look at the pictures from the other reviews here and compare them with my "US Prime Steak", then the chef probably had a bad day today. Reserved a table at 8:00 p.m., left the store again at around 9:00 p.m. and "lightened" your wallet a lot. Absolutely no recommendation from me, you can get much better quality elsewhere for the same money.

Had dinner here this evening. Been to Abaccos for the second time. Dear Miguel served us and read all our wishes from our lips. Visually speaking, I think the location in Bonn is better, but I think the chain itself is great. Especially with the concept that you can always order as many side dishes as you want. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will notice the stylish, modern ambience - cozy, yet elegant, furnished with great attention to detail. The service was first class from start to finish: friendly, attentive and pleasantly unobtrusive. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. The absolute highlight was of course the food. The steak - I had a fillet - was served on a hot stone so I could cook it to exactly how I like it. The quality of the meat was outstanding – tender, juicy and full of flavor. The side dishes were also great – I particularly liked the homemade dips and the crispy fries. Conclusion: Abacco’s Steakhouse in Cologne is a must for anyone who wants to enjoy high-quality steaks in a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come back – absolute recommendation!

We were served very courteously by Helin. The restaurant has tight seating, a table for two that is too small for the two of us. The whole restaurant is permeated by the smell of barbecue - which we find delicious. The US tenderloin fillets were very good, although a bit overpriced. Unusual, because at least we hadn't noticed in advance that the steak was being grilled on the hot stone. But it was nice. Unfortunately the steaks were completely unseasoned. The man is himself. Not recommended!!!!! Staff rude and completely incompetent. Ordered 3 sauces for the surf and turf, which the waitress said was possible. Six sauces were then brought because the waitress got it wrong when ordering! Even after complaining, no option or accommodation. Each sauce costs €4.90, which was then also charged for the 3 sauces I ordered. More on that later!! All dishes were incorrectly put together regarding the side dishes. When we pointed this out, the staff told us to listen better! Incredible When paying, we asked for an invoice (no wonder this wasn't presented during the actual transaction), as there was no way the invoice amount could be correct. Also billed incorrectly. Not that an apology was heard here. The food was good but way too overpriced. Conclusion!!! Definitely not recommended!!!! All steaks are served minimally pre-fried on a hot stone and you can determine the degree of doneness yourself. This has charm, but has two problems: 1. If you are inexperienced, you can quickly go beyond the desired cooking level or have to put the meat on several times. 2. If you like English / bleu, you have to eat your meat immediately. For me today it was still 'only medium'. There are 'all you can eat' side dishes, so you can reorder the side dish you ordered endlessly. Otherwise the portions (e.g. surf and turf, salads, etc) are rather small. In terms of price, the restaurant is in the upper midfield.

I ate the best steak I've ever had here, along with three delicious dips (included) and the crispy fries (as much as you want).
