I love this place. The atmosphere is like something out of a fairytale, and the food is made with love. You feel welcomed from every pore of your body. I'll be back again.

The schnitzel had excellent meat quality, and the fries tasted very fresh. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was too peppery for our taste. Service was very friendly, and despite the holiday, it was quick. A nice place to sit.

The food was okay. The service was actually quite nice during our visit. However, we were overcharged €70 (for sparkling wine we didn't even have), which we only noticed later. We got it back, of course, but the service suddenly became less than friendly, and that shouldn't happen.

Pass op.... Like every year, we did our bike tour (5 stages). The start was at the Ubierring, as always. It was my birthday, and I had specifically specified 1:30 PM as the start time. So the ladies and gentlemen could also get over their hangovers. Anyway... First, we got four Kölsch beers to start with. So. Then we started pedaling. We drove... and drove... Oh, there came the thirst... Stop!!!!! We had to stop at the Albatros boat due to an emergency (completely dehydrated after 150 km) and drink Kölsch. Delicious. We felt a little sick because of the waves, but no matter. We continued towards Rodenkirchen in the left lane through the forest. After a tough ride, we finally reached the crocodile, the ferry that was supposed to take us to the place of the ice-cold beer mugs. So we took the ferry, and with the last of our strength, we made it to the beer mugs. We were treated to ice-cold beer mugs and the tastiest beer poured from those mugs. The food was good, 5-star deluxe.

We visited Bacchus on July 2, 2025, for our 20th wedding anniversary – a new experience for us, and chosen quite randomly from a flyer from Porz. The restaurant is picturesquely situated and comfortably furnished with a rustic feel. My husband chose a fish dish with bean soup, and I had what felt like every tapas menu item. We also had Purezza water and Chardonnay. Everything tasted excellent – the dessert, a warm cheesecake with blackberry ice cream, was made on the house, as was a sparkling wine decorated with melon and table fireworks. We felt very comfortable there; the restaurant is very clean, and the food is cooked with love and good humor. The only thing that was a shame was that we couldn't leave a tip – they can only charge the exact amount of the bill to your debit card. Next time, we'll at least bring cash for the tip. It was a very nice evening, and we'll definitely be back! 🙏🏻❤️

We visited Bacchus on Groov with some work colleagues. I have to say, everything was perfect, from the service and the food (the schnitzel was simply amazing) to the beer in a chilled clay mug. The staff always made an effort to please all guests (which isn't always easy). At the end, we even got free cake. Definitely recommend it.

A truly fantastic restaurant in a stunning location. The service is incredibly attentive, and the food is absolutely fantastic. The tapas are certainly not cheap, but they're worth every cent. The other dishes, whether fish, meat, or risotto, are all perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious. I'd go back anytime.

We visited the place spontaneously without a reservation. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. You can feel that guests are truly welcome. The tapas were fantastic, as were the meatballs and mashed potatoes. The sauces, like everything else, are homemade and truly delicious. We're from far away, but this certainly won't be the last time we visit ❤️

We went to Bacchus for lunch today. The service was beyond overwhelmed, and the food was, unfortunately, below average in both quality and quantity. Three homemade meatballs that turned out to be three small meatball balls and cheese spaetzle drowned in a greasy sauce—it was definitely the last time for us.

We went to Bacchus last night for tapas. The service was friendly but overwhelmed. We noticed that the staff greeted and petted our dogs. However, the food was served afterward without washing our hands. Absolutely unacceptable. The tapas were tasty, but there weren't enough of them. The value for money was not right.

The dishes advertised on the menu are not available Asparagus in season is not even advertised as a side dish. Complaints are ironed out with the information that everything is done fresh. Neither friendly nor capable of criticism. After 2 visits on Saturday and Sunday at the best time for lunch no recommendation 👎

Today we were at the Groov and had something to drink. The staff was super nice and accommodating, even if the shop was full to the last seat in the beer garden. Our dog was also offered water directly. We also had a dessert which was really delicious. We'll come back and eat tapas too.

We happened to pass by on the way home. Warm owner, very nice service. The food looked great. Tip: a little hidden is a small, cozy courtyard. We'll definitely be back!

The tapas are new and super tasty and rich. A sought-after spot in the beer garden when the sun is shining. Still our number 1 on the Groov.

A great place in Cologne Porz Zündorf to stop off in the evening after a walk along the Rhine

Operation is already extremely overwhelmed when the workload is low. After our drinks (two draft beers) weren't served after over 20 minutes, we left. We didn't receive a menu.

We were in the restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime, only around 13 tables were served outside. The service was a disaster. You were hardly served, drinks after 20 minutes, food after an hour, then the wrong dish... Several people at neighboring tables left after not being served. The food was okay, the place is nice, it would be important to have someone who had some idea of ​​service in the catering industry.

After a new tenant came to Bacchus a few months ago, we really enjoy eating at Bacchus again! The warmth and effort put into each guest is phenomenal! Simply great! The food is super delicious, no matter what we've eaten on the menu so far! It was very tasty and beautifully presented! The homemade chutneys (with bread or on a burger) are ALL highly recommended. Everything is made in-house and served with love and you can see and taste it! I myself will be celebrating my birthday there in the summer and today was the rehearsal dinner! And what can I say, everything was really delicious and attractively served! So the photos show a selection of the menu as bites! Try it...you won't be disappointed! And if something doesn't fit, let us know and it will be made right! For me the best restaurant on the Groov!

Super nice atmosphere. We were here on January 18th, 2025 and it was very cold... despite the cold, we were able to sit beautifully in the sun and drink a delicious mulled wine. Everyone here is super nice and nice. We'd love to come back.

Super delicious food. But waited an extremely long time. Over 90 minutes. It wasn't said that it would take longer. In the meantime, after 60 minutes, we asked what was going on... it would have been possible After another 30 minutes I wanted to pay for the drinks and leave. But then the food finally arrived. The girl had no experience with making Irish coffee. She told us another place where they make Irish, but that place was closed. Then she decided to make one and that would be her first .. this is service we miss in a lot of restaurants. Compliments!!

Friendly staff with good advice and very nice surroundings. However, the prices are exorbitantly high and the ambience of the Groov doesn't justify them either. In terms of taste, the food is quite good, but way too overpriced. The portions are super small, the drinks are also very expensive and unfortunately my backrest was so wobbly that it was impossible to lean on.

The food was really bad. White beans in tomato sauce completely unseasoned. You certainly shouldn't call it bean soup. Canned beans in pureed tomatoes with a mini bockwurst and then just a really small plate. Even the 2 pieces of baguette couldn't save it. For 10 euros it was unacceptable in terms of taste and quantity. The service, on the other hand, was very nice and at least brought more bread when asked. We will not come back not recommended.

I had the honor to eat breakfast and lunch at this restaurant. Both breakfast and dinner were a masterpiece of taste for me, just by looking at the plate served I could tell that the chef was a very experienced cook, and you could see that after the first bite. The restaurant was beautiful and atmospheric, the tables, chairs, floor and toilet were sparkling clean. The sight of the very nice and friendly owners of the place welcoming the guests and the chef serving dishes to the guests of the restaurant was heartwarming!!!!

Our daughter, 4 years old, urgently needed to go to the toilet, which the staff did not allow. This wasn't a problem in the restaurant next door. Even if we can't judge the food at Bacchus, we will avoid the restaurant in the future due to its lack of friendliness.

Yesterday (on a Saturday) we wanted to have a relaxed drink outside with the family around 9 p.m. We were anything but warmly welcomed; we were immediately turned away on the grounds that the restaurant was closing for “economic reasons”. At 21 o'clock. At a saturday. We've visited this restaurant before, the food is good, but this kind of "friendliness" doesn't keep customers.

I only had one tarte flambée to eat but it was very tasty. The service was friendly. The mulled wine sometimes had more and less punch but all in all it was a cozy evening.

Unfortunately it was far too cold in the restaurant. The dishes cost an average of €29 and only tasted mediocre. The Sauvignon on the menu was not edible.

The staff was very friendly, funny and accommodating. We had a nice evening there. In terms of taste, everything was to our satisfaction, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all. A small green salad with 5 prawns as a starter costs almost 20 euros (in other restaurants you can get a salad like this as a MAIN COURSE for 14-16 euros) and the risotto was so extremely tiny that I actually had to eat two more to get full . Unfortunately, at a price of 25 euros, far too little.

Wir haben im Bacchus den Kindergeburtstag unserer Tochter gefeiert und sind einfach total begeistert vom neuen Team, vom Service und von dem fantastischen Essen. Es war ein toller Nachmittag/Abend! Auch hier nochmals vielen Dank für die Engelsgeduld, die ihr alle mit uns hattet!

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal nach dem Besitzerwechsel wieder im Bacchus. Das Essen und die Weine waren fantastisch! Die Preise sind absolut gerechtfertigt für die Qualität des Essens. Auch die junge Dame, die uns bedient hat, war sehr engagiert und freundlich.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und freuen uns, dass es in Zündorf wieder ein Lokal mit tollem Essen gibt.

Sehr leckere Speisen, gut ausgesuchte Weine und aufmerksamer Service. Endlich wieder ein Highlight in Zündorf.

Wir waren beeindruckt. Wir besuchen min 2-3mal die Woche Restaurants, doch bisher haben wir uns nirdendwo auf Anhieb so wohl gefühlt wie im Bacchus. Das Personal war durchweg sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und man merkte die positive Stimmung innerhalb des familienbetriebenen Lokals. Hier werden mit Leidenschaft die Essen zubereitet und ausgezeichnete selbstkreirte Schnäpse angeboten. Letztere insb. der Glühweinwodka sind mal so richtig gut. Hier heisst es unbedingt probieren. Auch unseren Kleinen wurde besondere Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet: ob es ein kleiner Spaß im Vorbeigehen war oder beim Bestellungen aufnehmen. Unser großer Hund war ebenfalls herzlich willkommen und bekam schon sein Wasser geliefert schon bevor wir alle saßen. Top. Gegessen haben wir Erwachsenen die Maronensuppe, die Kürbissuppe, das Kürbisrisotto mit den Tigergarnelen und das Lammfilet. Dazu gab es den passenden, wolhtemperierten Wein. Alle Gerichte waren gewürztechnisch auf den Durchschnittsgeschmack abgestimmt, getreu dem Motto besser vom Gast nachwürzen lassen als zu übersalzen oder zu überpfeffern. Nachwürzen mussten wir weder bei den Suppen oder den Hauptgerichten. Alles schmeckte äußerst stimmig. Wir freuen uns auf die nächsten Male. Vielen Dank.

Ich war zum ersten Mal da und ich bin begeistert!!! Wir haben zu viert gegessen und getrunken. Zwei von uns haben das Ibérico Kotelett gegessen, die anderen zwei Pilz Risotto mit Garnelen und Salat mit Ziegenkäse, alles vorzüglich! Das Personal sehr freundlich! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Gemütlich, lecker, aufmerksam - was will man mehr. Lo

Unser Sohn musste dringend zur Toilette. Auf nachfragen, ob das gegen Geld möglich wäre, wurden wir abgewiesen. Wir hatten überlegt, nach dem Spaziergang dort essen zu gehen, die Entscheidung war damit dann gefallen. Never ever!!! Mich wundert jetzt nicht, warum keine Menschenseele im Restaurant zu sehen war. Grottiger Service. Kein Herz für Kinder. Nebenan im Restaurant wurden wir freundlich empfangen, ganz anderer Schnack.

Unser Sohn, 3 Jahre alt, musste dringend aufs Klo. Dies ist ihm vom Personal nicht erlaubt worden. Schade zu sehen, wie man hier mit Kindern umgeht. Wir werden das Restaurant daher in Zukunft gänzlich meiden. Es schmeckt doch gleich viel besser, wenn man freundlich empfangen wird und Weltoffenheit an den Tag legt, anstatt auf jeden € zu gucken.

Wir besuchten das Restaurant an der Groov an einem Montag Abend mit hohen Erwartungen, wurden jedoch leider enttäuscht. Der beworbene Wildkräutersalat entpuppte sich als gewöhnlicher Salat, ohne vorherige Benachrichtigung über die Nichtverfügbarkeit der Wildkräuter. Erst auf Nachfrage erhielten wir diese Information, und als Entschuldigung bekamen wir ein Bier aufs Haus, ohne die Möglichkeit, einen Getränkewünsche zu äußern - vielleicht muss man ja noch fahren. Das Personal schien abgelenkt und bevorzugte die Unterhaltung mit einem Stammgast. Das Brot zur Beilage war dünn wie Toastbrot und nicht besonders schmackhaft. Insgesamt war unser Besuch enttäuschend, und wir hätten uns eine bessere Erfahrung gewünscht.

Leider kleine Portionen und dafür eindeutig zu teuer. Essen dauerte sehr lange. Die Kellner hatten das leider nicht gut im Griff. Schade, Lage ist sehr gut

Grosse Erwartung! Service freundlich. Aber keiner hat gesehen. Daßwir noch etwas zu trinken möchten. Lange aufs Essen gewartet. Dann kam auch noch das falsche, teurere. Dennoch das teurere berechnet. Sehr enttäuscht

Ich könnt jetzt nicht unbedingt sagen, dass das Essen besser ist als beim Vorgänger. Da wir von weiter herkommen, erfreuten wir uns im Bacchus immer. Aber was wir sehr traurig finden ist, dass viele Stammgäste von damals dort kaum mehr essen gehn. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass man meint, nur mit hohen Preisen ein hochwertiges Essen bieten zu können. Mitnichten, denn wenn zB ein Schnitzel Wiener Art bzw generell ein Wiener Schnitzel nur aus dicker Panade besteht, und man quasi durch das zu dünn gequält geklopfte Fleisch durchgucken kann ( Wiener Schnitzel muss 5-6 mm im Duchmesser sein )und man dann um die 22,50€ bezahlt für ein Schweineschnitzel mit Kartoffelpüree und Beilagensalat, ist das keine hochwertige Küche, sondern überteuerte Imbiss Küche. Meine österreichischen Freunde würden die Hände über den Kopf schlagen. Auch Salate viel zu teuer. Leute, ihr seid an der Groov und nicht auf Sylt . Wir kennen soviele gehobene Restaurants zB an der Küste, die lange nicht solche Preise haben. Da würden ihnen ja die Touristen weglaufen.Und bitte, es ist nicht sehr professionell, auf Facebook die nicht so guten Kritiken zu löschen. Denn auch negative Kritiken tragen zur Verbesserung bei. Und dass euch Freunde Spitzenrezensionen auf Google und Facebook schreiben, ist doch logisch. Euer gesamtes Essen ist nicht schlecht. Es ist gut, aber es entspricht einfach nicht den Preisen. Wir warten einfach mal ab, ob die Gäste weiterhin gewillt sind, für normales Essen diese Preise zu bezahlen. Wünsche euch aber alles Gute für die Zukunft.

In den letzten Wochen hat es uns mehrfach ins Bacchus gezogen, weil der erste Besuch schon so toll war. Hier herrscht eine so angenehme Gastfreundlichkeit und auch wenn viel los ist, bleibt das Personal entspannt und professionell. Das Essen überzeugt nicht nur in der Präsentation, sondern auch im Geschmack. Wir haben nach mehreren Besuchen ungefähr ein Viertel der Speisekarte durch und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Die Inhaberin und ihr Personal wirken wie abgestimmt aufeinander und sorgen für einen schönen Besuch im Bacchus. Top Empfehlung!

Im Herzen von Zündorf an der Groov hatten wir wieder ein großartiges Essen im Bacchus! Margita und Ihr Team sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Erklärung zu den Gerichten und den Weinen. Der Service ist die ganze Zeit sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Unser Essen war von der Präsentation und dem Geschmack perfekt abgestimmt! Wir können das Bacchus nur weiterempfehlen, denn es ist eine Gastronomie mit Herz und Leidenschaft!

Sehr gutes Essen, leckerer Wein, sehr netter Service und schönes Ambiente. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Bedienung ist umsichtig und zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Mein Risotto sah optisch sehr gut aus und hat noch viel besser geschmeckt. Rundherum kann ich das Bacchus empfehlen. Besonders schön ist es, wenn man draußen und einen lauen Abend in der Groov verbringen kann.

Iberico Kotelett war nicht gar, zurück in die Küche. Soße hat gefehlt. Kohlgemüse für den Sommer viel zu fett zubereitet. Der Kellner mußte 2x nachfragen welches Getränk bestellt war, immer wieder VERGESSEN! Bei der Begleitung wurde die falsche Beilage serviert. Der Salat mit eingelegten Radieschen schmeckt so nicht, sauer. Insgesamt viel zu teuer. 41€ für 1 Person ist schon happig wenn's nicht gut war

War mit meiner Frau dort essen, und wir wurden super bedient und das Essen war Top! Nach langer Zeit, wirklich wieder ein Super Lokal. Kann ich nur empfehlen. 👍

Statt wie in der Karte beschrieben, gab es keine schwarzen Tagliarini zum Zander, sondern ordinäre Spaghetti. Ich finde, das ist durchaus ein Unterschied, auf den man bei der Bestellung hinweisen sollte und was sich vor allem auch in einem reduzierten Preis bemerkbar machen sollte.

Das Lokal hatte eine schöne Lage und war recht gut besucht, daher verzichteten wir auf den Blick in die Google Rezessionen vorab. Das Ergebnis dieses Leichtsinnigkeit war ein Wildkräuter Salat mit Ziegenkäse sowie karamellisierten Birnen und Nüssen für 19.90€. Der Preis war zwar happig, aber nicht mal das Problem. Wir mussten über 1h auf die 2 Salate warten und was dann serviert wurde war unverschämt. Ein Haufen Ackersalat mit 2 Pseudo Kräutern , daneben völlig kalte und unreife Birnen, die vielleicht 3Tage früher mal karamellisiert wurden und direkt vom Kühlschrank auf den Teller gewandert sind sowie ein Ziegenkäse in Discounter Qualität. Unser Fazit: leider einmal und ganz sicher nie wieder.

Einfach alles super lecker und sehr gut angerichtet.Selbst die Bedienung weiß was sie servieren. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das war nicht der letzte Besuch. Können wir nur empfehlen.

Toller Service, das Steak mit dem Zwiebel-Chutney war fabelhaft. Medium bestellt, medium bekommen. Zum Nachtisch der gedeckte Apfelkuchen war grandios. Gerne wieder.

Selbst gebackenes frisches Brot ✔️ Check Selbst gemachter Aufstrich ✔️ Check Handgestampftes luftiges Kartoffelpüree ✔️ Check Frisches Kohlgemüse, auch handgemacht ✔️ Check Saftiges schmackhaftes ibérico Kotelett ✔️ Check Helles vom Fass, ein überraschend guter Muskat Rosé ✔️ Doppel Check. Nicht günstig aber absolut den Preis wert und für die Qualität durchaus erschwinglich! Denn hier wird richtig gekocht. Ich komme wieder.

Beeindruckend toll! Kotelett, Schweine Medallions, Zander, alle drei absolute Spitze, und dazu eine super nette Bedienung. 10/5 Sternen!
