We decided to stop by Mortor World on a whim and had a cappuccino and American cheesecake. It was delicious, and the staff was super friendly. We'd love to come back!

I used to enjoy coming here, but now unfortunately you have to wait a long time before you can place your order. The food was okay, but unfortunately not as good as before. What is positive, however, is that the response was very friendly and accommodating.

Sorry, I'm expecting something from that name, especially since Mr. Henssler himself likes to destroy others. This is not meant to be revenge, but rather a real picture of the situation. Food ok, but not transparent. Neither an indication of which animal the meat of the burger is from, nor an indication of how many grams are on it. At least I was able to ask about the latter. I find 140 grams of undeclared meat at least strange for the price. It was ok, but theoretically it could have come from a discounter. Lots of fries that cost nothing to buy, no side salad, i.e. an estimated value of less than €8. But the biggest shame is that you still have to pay for parking. Sorry, we tried it for the second time today (parking was free back then otherwise I wouldn't have come a second time) Stick with “Grill den Henssler” or take care of your shops. Final conclusion: French fries shop with a high standard. The staff cannot be blamed. Friendly and accommodating.

The three of us were at Ahoi / Motorworld Cologne on Good Friday. You should definitely try it out, but don't arrive with too high expectations. It's a really chic quick snack that also tastes good. The only thing to criticize was the tomato soup, which was very tasty, but I've had much better elsewhere several times. I thought the chili in the soup was brilliant as a tuining. The bowls looked very good and I'm sure they also tasted very good because they were ordered in abundance by the guests present. We had pan fish: very tasty and the Henssler schnitzel: crispy, fries awesome. What was annoying, however, was the 45 minute waiting time between the starter and the main course. The service was always attentive and friendly but the young girl should look for another job. Conclusion for us, we'd love to do it again, but only if you're nearby. A longer journey like ours leads to disappointment because the expectations are too high.

The food comes in large portions even for the kids meal. It is delicious but i find the fries a little too salty. Nevertheless, the food tastes great. Service is good and fast. The place was quite packed even at 3pm on a Sunday.

We had already been to the Ahoi in Bonn, and so we also felt very comfortable at the Ahoi here in Cologne. The waiter was really remarkably friendly and accommodating. Music may be a bit loud depending on where you sit. Unfortunately we didn't have time to look at Motorworld, but you can definitely combine that with a visit to the restaurant.

Very tasty food, we somehow sat in the passage between two car dealerships. So it wasn't that comfortable and quite drafty.

I'm thinking back and forth about whether I can recommend the Ahoy, since tastes are very different. The service is, without any restrictions, simply top! The ambience is nice, but it is also relatively loud due to the many guests - I think it can't be avoided. Hmm, well... I had a currywurst (made from veal) and somehow that wasn't really my thing. My companions had something different and were happier. Not highly praiseworthy, but satisfied nonetheless. I was happy with dessert (iced chocolate), but my companion wasn't really happy (churros). They were very small and probably tasteless, but that might also have been due to the caramel sauce. All in all, it was good to be there, but I personally won't be an Ahoy fan.

Food was delicious, no question, but the whole thing seemed really thrown together and like a glorified snack menu. I had 5 shrimps and another plate of fries. Good amount but 20 euros? I find it a bit cheeky. The service was great, the waiter was very attentive, but it's not a place I'll have to go to again.

It wasn't clear on the website whether there were vegan options, so called. According to the information on the phone there should be a vegan burger. I asked specifically whether "veggie" really means vegan - this was confirmed several times. There were markings on the map on site - there was no "vegan" sign on the burger!! So it was just fries for me. They were “Henssler Style,” which apparently means “without any discernible taste.” The service was appropriately as warm as an ordering kiosk at a drive-thru. At least she was persistent and asked several times if I REALLY didn't want to drink. The other dishes were in the feedback: "quite okay" "needs to get used to" "unexpectedly low quality" = schnitzel made from pressed meat Overall, the quality of the food was not as high as the price suggested. No recommendation from me, for vegans a clear “better not”!

Nothing special. The name is used for not even standard food. The sushi is made with mushy rice and is wet with sauce. The currywurst was ok, but it just came with sweet potato fries. The specially ordered side dishes were delivered too late. Oh well. Service was ok. The location is far too crowded and there is more of a camping atmosphere outside

Second time here. And after Henssler's closed the shop, it's no longer worth the trip. The staff was friendly, but the asparagus was completely unpeeled, and the popcorn appetizer was gone. The currywurst needed some coloring and was drowned in ketchup...

I invited my mother here for her birthday. The ambience had something of a rest area restaurant. The waitress seemed very overwhelmed, even though there was very little going on. I definitely expected more from the food. The starters were divine, unfortunately the main courses were even more disappointing. The plates were mainly filled with fries, there were no vegetables. The tuna steak was completely over seasoned. Unfortunately we were very disappointed.

One of our favorites for take-out orders. All of the dishes can still be enjoyed without restriction, even after a short journey.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. We were escorted to the table and had to wait 10 minutes until someone came to at least take the drinks. About half an hour later there was still no food because no one came. Even asking didn't work until the second attempt because it was forgotten the first time I asked. Food came quite quickly and it tasted OK. When we then asked for the bill, two more attempts were made to contact the waiter. He kept forgetting and ended up having to ask us what we ate and drank. Isn't it normally in your system which table got what? We definitely won't be coming back, but it's up to you.

Got a table spontaneously, the food came quickly and was very tasty and the staff was friendly. “Unfortunately” the main portion was a bit small and an attempt was made to “compensate” with plenty of filling side dishes. The food is average, the service is good, the atmosphere is sometimes not so pleasant to sit in with hard chairs. Very petty billing: I ordered ketchup for the fries instead of the "Henssler Style" sauce, ketchup was charged extra! This is how you annoy guests.

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The fries were so dry that I had to order extra sauce so I could eat them. The vegan burger patty was extremely good, but unfortunately the rest of the burger wasn't. The sauce on the burger was a kind of BBQ sauce and it masked everything else in terms of taste, so that, for example, B. couldn't taste the avocado. A little crunch would also have been desirable. The non-alcoholic cocktail didn't deserve its name; it wasn't seasoned properly at all, as if someone had made a mistake with the quantities. Better just order a soda. The staff was friendly, but a bit slow and could have asked more often.

So the first impression wasn't all that good....it was all concrete and more of a fast food joint than a restaurant....but the service - whitish nice ladies - super tasty food completely changed my first impression. I'll be honest: I sat and was so amazed by the interior that I looked for the reviews because I was about to leave...then I was surprised by what I read and stayed...and now I can fully confirm the comments written.

Also der erste Eindruck war gar nicht so gut....alles Beton und eher Schnellimbiss als Restaurant....aber der Service -weißlich nette Damen -super leckeres Essen haben meinen ersten Eindruck komplett gedreht. Ich bin ehrlich : ich saß und habe mich so über das Interieur gewundert, so dass ich die Rezessionen gesucht habe, weil ich kurz vorm Gehen war....dann war ich überrascht was ich gelesen habe und bin geblieben....und nun kann ich die geschriebenen Kommentare voll und ganz bestätigen.

Immer wieder gerne und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Leider war es sehr kalt als wir mittags dort ankamen und es zog ein wenig. Auch der Tisch direkt hinter der Popcorn Maschine war ziemlich eng und beklemmend. Also nichts für Menschen, die keine Kleidergröße 36 haben... Das Essen war wie immer super lecker. Ich freue mich auf's neues Mal.

Wir waren vom Service und vom Essen wirklich sehr angetan. Es war sehr, sehr lecker, das einzige, was ein wenig gestört hat, war das es etwas frisch an den Tischen in der Halle war, dafür der Service und das Essen haben es wieder gerichtet. Im Sommer ist bestimmt angenehmer dort. Ansonsten wirklich zu empfehlen. Preisleistung war dafür wirklich in Ordnung.

It was my first time at Ahoi and I absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly tasty, but huge praise goes to the waiter Samuel. He was extremely respectful, attentive and extremely accommodating. In all my years of being an avid restauranteur, he is definitely one of the best waiters I have ever met. I would come back any time just because of his excellent service. Beim Besuch in der Motorworld Köln haben wir uns im Ahoi Steffen Henssler ein Käffchen gegönnt. Mit bestellt haben wir ein Schoktörtchen mit Eis und Popcorn, ganz was Feines!

Wir finden es immer wieder sehr lecker. Das Team ist immer sehr freundlich.

Essen war wie immer gut. Leider kommt alles viel zu schnell. Man sollte sich Zeit lassen und erst in Ruhe Getränke bestellen und erst anschließend das Essen. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir haben einen Besuch in der MOTORWORLD geplant, um mit den Kindern (10, 14) BATTLEKART zu fahren. Das ist wie SUPER MARIO nur in echt. Durch Zufall sind wir auf das AHOI gestoßen und auf die MICHAEL SCHUMACHER PRIVATE COLLECTION. Der Besuch hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Wir waren in HH schon im AHOI und waren zunächst skeptisch. Doch ich kann sagen - lecker, schnell und freundlich- eingerichtet im Motorrennsport Style, in schwarz, weiß, türkis. Sehr ansprechend. Das Essen in der aus HH gewohnten Qualität. Eine Tasse Popcorn gab es auch zur Begrüßung auf den Tisch. Zu essen gab es bei uns Schnitzel, Kartoffelpuffer, Chicken Teriyaki Bowl und eine Bowl mit paniertem Blumenkohl. Dieses Mal habe ich mir die Trüffelbutter für 4€ dazu gegönnt - für mich die absolute Geschmacksexplosion. Von uns uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zu Besuch in Köln und machten eine Führung in den MMC Studios. Da das Restaurant gar nicht weit entfernt ist, wollten wir es ausprobieren. Die Bedienung war, auch schon am Telefon, super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alle Gerichte haben uns, den Kindern und den Omas -3 Generationen an einem Tisch - sehr lecker geschmeckt. Wir waren auch von der Qualität überzeugt. Die Preise finden wir völlig in Ordnung. Vor allem für die Sushi Varianten. Das Ambiente in der Motorwelt hat uns super gefallen ( Auch wenn es in der Halle wirklich etwas kalt war.) und wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen.

Die Räumlichkeiten waren kalt, die Heizstrahler wurden erst bei unserer Ankunft (Reservierung lag vor) eingeschaltet. Schade ...

Mal wieder ein tolles Erlebnis mit super leckerem Essen und Getränken. Freundliche Bedienung. Nur war es ein wenig zu kalt.

We ended up here as an alternative accommodation with a regulars' table. For around 20 people, the food was good to very good across the board, and the service was attentive and very nice. The ambience suffers a bit because the Motorworld as a whole is no longer what it was a few years ago... Nevertheless: Gladly again!

We stumbled upon this place searching for fish and chips while staying in Cologne and it was excellent! The food was delicious as well the atmosphere. My youngest son had the tuna and he still talks about it. My oldest son had the fish and chips. Highly recommend.

The restaurant is located directly in the Motorworld, but also adjacent to the Mediapark. The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is integrated into the media park and consists of two areas. The seating area and the counter are in one room. High tables and additional seating have been integrated into the Motorworld. With outside temperatures of +5°C, the Motorworld wasn't heated very warmly, which meant you were cold in the restaurant and had to wear your jacket. The food was okay, but it was more like fast food and not fresh cuisine. We expected it differently.

Great food in a really nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service here leaves a lot to be desired. When we entered the store, there were currently 6 tables that were ready for service. Accordingly, the three service staff held the counter together and looked at us in surprise as we entered the restaurant. We were greeted warmly, were allowed to choose a table and the drinks were requested quickly. These were then used without a tablet. So for every drink for three drinks the waiter went back from the table to the counter and got the next one. Unfortunately, we weren't ready with the food yet, communicated this and then nothing happened for a long time. The staff chatted happily, casually and rather bored with their work at the counter and only came back to the table after a friendly note from us. The food came quickly. It was really well prepared and the taste was also very good! We weren't asked whether we would like to drink something again. Whether everything was great with the food was not asked. The staff preferred to drink their own drinks at the bar, and at the end of the day they wiped down the tables around us, cleaned the areas and had fun. I understand that we work with students/temporary workers and mini-jobbers. Unfortunately there was no guiding hand here who would have raised the quality of the service or structured it. Only the food and ambience were worth 5 stars, the service didn't seem inviting at all to us and we decided to leave the restaurant straight after the meal.

Ich will niemand schlecht reden. Aber ich habe halt echt schon deutlich bessere Burger gegessen. Pommes waren leider bei mir nurnoch leicht warm. Alles andere war gut.

Wir wurden als Familie mit zwei großen Hunden sehr freundlich empfangen und hatten die Wahl zwischen mehreren verschiedenen Plätzen. Wir haben uns bewusst für einen Platz ganz hinten durch entschieden, damit wir mit den Fellnasen niemanden stören. Das Ambiente kurz vor der großen MOTORWORLD Halle ist natürlich nicht vergleichbar mit dem drinne. Das essen war sehr lecker, ich persönlich fand aber das Essen im Ahoi Otterndorf ein Ticken besser. Bei meinem Burger fehlte beispielsweise der Koriander komplett und mein Freund hatte Burger mit Süßkartoffel im henssler Style bestellt aber normale Süßkartoffel Pommes erhalten, weil die Kellnerin sich 100% sicher war das jede Pommes bei den Burgern im Henssler Style kommt ohne extra Bestellung. Preisleistung man zahlt definitiv auch den Namen aber es ist auch echt lecker!

Die Bedienung sehr schnell und zuvorkommend, das Essen sehr lecker. Wir waren hier bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal!!!

Ich habe wirklich Verständnis für die momentane personelle Situation aber das was uns heute von der Service Kraft geboten wurde war echt unterirdisch. Hemd und Schürze waren sehr stark verschmutzt, so kann ich als Servicekraft nicht arbeiten ….. die Art und Weise war auch nicht akzeptabel, Teller abgeräumt obwohl noch jemand am Essen war …. und als er kein Trinkgeld bekommen hat wurde ich bei der Übergabe meines Kartenbeleg mit den Worten „so mein Freund“ abgefertigt. Ich war schon öfters im ahoi Köln und auch und anderen aber so etwas habe ich noch in keinem Ahoi erlebt. Auch unsere bestellten Speisen wurden dem gewohnten Standard heute leider nicht gerecht! Schade weis noch nicht ob und wann das Ahoi Köln eine Chance bekommt. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

The atmosphere is modern and stylish, the staff is super friendly and attentive. The selection of dishes is not huge, but that speaks for the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the preparation. I was particularly impressed by the Crunchy Shrimp Burger – crispy, juicy and full of flavor. The sushi variations are also highly recommended. It's not a bargain in terms of price, but the quality absolutely justifies it. Anyone who loves fresh fish and innovative preparation should definitely not miss Ahoi. A real win for the Cologne gastronomy scene!

Das Essen war Top, die Speisen kamen wie beim Speed Dating, viel zu schnell obwohl wir Vorspeisen und Hauptgang extra bei der Bestellung aufgegeben haben. Obwohl wir die Vorspeise noch nicht aufgegessen haben kam schon der Hautgang. Meine Vorspeise wurde schon abgeräumt obwohl meine Frau mit der Vorspeise noch nicht fertig war. Alles in allem war das Essen aber grandios!!! Die Bedingung war sehr freundlich aber passt nicht zur Preis Leistung. Wir hätten gerne entspannt gespeist aber es war leider nicht möglich. 13:04 Uhr kam die Vorspeise und um 13:16 Uhr kam die Hauptspeise

Alles war sehr gut von der Bewirtung bis hin zum Getränk und der Optik des Sushis. Mit der Kritik richte ich mich an den Ideengeber, Hauptsache lecker 😉 Das Sushi war mir etwas zu amerikanisch. Die vorherrschende Geschmacks Note umami süß und nochmal süß. Nach den 6 Happen war ich extrem satt und konnte nichts weiteres probieren. Das kenne ich so nicht wenn ich klassisches und/ oder auch modernes Sushi esse. Der Reis war ein bisschen zu weich. Viele Grüße
