A spontaneous visit to Motorworld led us to have lunch at AHOI. The service employee was friendly, but the tone was quite rough. The food was comparable to a good chip shop.

Ordered again? Super satisfied so far. But today a no go. Remoulade sauce tasted like mustard Baked fish fried 4x:( Fries weren't fresh. Salad was completely missing. The currywurst looked like goulash. Had nothing in common with sausage. Service was overloaded! Very, very unfortunate

Unfortunately this time it was bad. The currywurst looked like it had been on the grill for three days. Tasted totally dry. If we had eaten this in the restaurant we would have gone back. The salad was missing from the fish dish. Not out of Henssler's house again.

The food was awesome, we had burgers. Rarely have I had such good burgers. Recommended 👍

We were there on Saturday evening. The staff was super friendly. Our waitress was on point and we were served quickly. The food was delicious.

We ate quite well, but unfortunately the selection was quite small for us. But we found something, unfortunately it wasn't anything to fill us up with. It's a shame we had hoped for more.

Food really wasn't cheap. When it comes to the taste of a currywurst, I've eaten it better in a normal chip shop. The price for curry sausage fries was around 14 euros. But only if Steffen Henssler knows what it says, it remains just a curry sausage. The atmosphere goes like this. Anyone who loves black and white painted walls will feel at home. The staff was very, very friendly, there is nothing to complain about, thank you.

We have been to ahoi many times and have always been extremely satisfied. Now the menu has been turned inside out and unfortunately not for the best.. the potato sesame soup, which is what we mainly go there for, has completely disappeared and the crispy chicken burger is prepared with a new sauce and no longer tastes good.. Unfortunately we don't understand this Decisions... never change a running system. Unfortunately it's no longer worth a visit for the always very hefty price... that was our last time there yesterday, which is a shame...

The fries were burnt, the atmosphere was completely uncomfortable, dark and felt between cars and parking spaces and the service was very unfriendly. Price performance absolutely unreasonable.

My husband and I were there on October 5th. eat there, we were shown our table, took off our jackets and someone came to take the drinks, but we didn't even have a chance to look at the menu. So we asked the waiter to come again, but this was absolutely a mistake because he waited 45 minutes before we could order. To be honest, I was very annoyed and about to leave the restaurant. I told him that I would like a salad and a schnitzel with fries then he entered the salad into the system and took my husband's order, so I asked again if he had entered my schnitzel and he literally said "they gave me some said nothing to a schnitzel”… I worked in service myself and I have to say something like that doesn't work at all! Then my husband's starter of tomato soup with fish and chips came at the same time as my salad and schnitzel... the starter comes first and the main course 10-15 minutes later! Everyone around us got a cup with popcorn in it before dinner, but we didn't get that either... And everyone who came after us was served by the waiter we had before us and also got drinks and food before us… It's a shame because it was my 30th birthday present from my husband to me. I have to say it was very disappointing... Unfortunately I can't recommend your shop...

We ate and drank with 5 people. From sushi, to fish, bowls, currywurst and schnitzel, everything looked great and tasted good. The sweet potato fries were a hit. The service was very friendly. We found the prices reasonable. Everyone will find something here. The restaurant is affiliated with Motorworld. 100% barrier-free and there is also a wheelchair toilet.

Reserved and positioned in the passage with a lot of draft, it was cold... the atmosphere was like a ToGo snack bar. There was a very long waiting time for food, complaints were made twice...unfortunately we couldn't eat together and the four of us only got the food when everyone was already finished. Clearly overrated. -unfortunately not worth the money.

Four of us ate at Ahoi. Before that, of course, we looked at Motorworld, which was of course very interesting. Had the tuna burger, two bowls and appetizers. Decent portions, very tasty, great service with a view of vintage cars. We definitely weren't there for the last time.

We were pretty disappointed after our visit to Ahoi Steffen Henssler. The ambience is very nice and you can certainly have a cold drink, but the food was worse than in any cheap chip shop. Rarely have I eaten such dry fries and such greasy fish from deep fryers... We asked ourselves whether Mr. Henssler had ever eaten in his restaurant himself and whether that corresponded to his level as a top chef...

I've been thinking about whether to rate it for a few days now because I really like Henssler as a person. Well, it was my birthday on Thursday and I didn't want to do anything big and I'm too ahoy with my partner because it's close by and MOTORWORLD is always worth a trip ... we were there for the 5th time now but this time it was the last time for me. My wife had shrimp hennsler which looked good but at just under 22€ it was more than well paid. I, on the other hand, decided on a schnitzel from the lucky country pig (her I would have been better off leaving it in the country) I'm not much of a schnitzel eater but that was once the worst I've ever eaten, the fries with a few herbs, no sauce, no garnish, nothing, €21 and more than well paid because for me it was at the level of a fries shop had. The staff was very friendly. The ambience was good because it was the first time we were sitting in the restaurant because there is always a draft outside and the Motorworld hall is very loud. The photo shows the prawns and I didn't dare take a photo of my schnitzel 😫 Conclusion for quick cuisine 55€ for 2 a bit steep

Wir waren seit 3-4 Monaten wider mal da. Karte wurde offenbar geändert. Fanden sie vorher besser. Einzelne Gerichte waren einige gut (Vorspeise Sashimi), Hauptgang ging so lala, Nachtisch haben wir dann ausgelassen, da große Portionen. Ambiente ist sportlich- eben in der Motorworld: das ist ok. Von drinnen, draußen, halbdrinnen oder direkt an den Autos findet jeder was. Service ist sehr freundlich muss sich aber vom fachlichen noch verbessern. Insgesamt ok, 3 Sterne.

The bowl was very tasty. The amount is exactly right, not too little, but not enough to make you want to lie down afterwards. The outdoor area is really relaxed. Gladly again 🤌🏽

We happened to be in the Motorwelt next door and had lunch there, briefly ordered drinks, it took 15 minutes until a cola from the bottle and a water were brought and the shop was almost empty, you probably got the cola next door from Coca Cola on your bike, food Henssler style, phew so if you like food without taste, a recommendation. Big name and big disappointment.

Quite disappointed with expectations. The salads were somewhat ok, but in addition to the poor side dish, there were tons of cranberries stuck together in a dressing advertised as yogurt. However, in terms of taste, this mainly consisted of mayonnaise. The fries were more than over-fried and simply tasted greasy. If Steffen Hensler can't even make fries - good night at half past seven.

Im Großen und Ganzen kann man Ahoi sehr empfehlen und wäre ich nichts bereits ein paar Tage zuvor schon im Ahoi in Hamburg gewesen wäre die Bewertung für das Kölner Ahoi noch besser ausgefallen. Das Restaurant in Hamburg ist einfach etwas gemütlicher und auch der Fisch (Fish n‘ Chips) war in Hamburg qualitativ einfach besser (klar weil Hamburg ja auch am Wasser liegt), aber auch die Panade war anders als in Hamburg und diese in Hamburg etwas besser. Alles in allem kann ich es aber sehr empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

We were there this afternoon. Waiting time for the food was about 50 minutes. Quality of the food was all OK, but nothing special. Taste and price performance don't go together. In summary, if you like looking at beautiful cars, it's worth a visit. But there are much better things to eat

We hebben genoten van ons bezoek aan Ahoi Steffen Henssler in Keulen. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk en attent, wat onze ervaring nog aangenamer maakte. Het terras is een heerlijke plek om te zitten en te genieten van het eten. Het eten zelf was fantastisch, met een ruime kaart die voor ieder wat wils biedt. Dit restaurant is onderdeel van een keten van de bekende Duitse TV-kok Steffen Henssler, en dat merk je aan de kwaliteit van de gerechten. Wij zijn zeer tevreden en komen zeker nog eens terug!

Es wurde ein schlechtes Schnitzel wohl von Aldi serviert, was mehr nach Hähnchen anstatt Schwein schmeckte. Die Currywurst war abdestanden und nur wieder aufgewärmt. Der Lawakuchen wurde kalt serviert anstatt warm, wie man es gewohnt ist und die Schokolade im Kuchenkern war billig. Insgesamt hatten wir über 150 Euro für vier Personen bezahlt, was überhaupt nicht zur schlechten Qualität des Essen stand. Dies war mein erster und letzter Besuch....Bewertung mangelhaft bis ungenügend!

We discovered by chance that Steffen Henssler’s Ahoi is right near our hotel. We ate very well, the service was quick and very friendly. A perfect dinner for us. The cheesecake as dessert was the crowning glory.

Es war ein tolles Essen! Besonders lecker war die Vorspeise Sushi!

Wir waren 5 Personen hatten einen Tisch vorbestellt hat alles super geklappt und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war der Service. Allen hat das Essen gut geschmeckt.

Ich hatte bei Henssler bisschen mehr „lecker“ erwartet . Unterm Tisch war es vom Vorgänger noch dreckig - die Reservierung hätte nicht sein müssen da hat keiner nach gefragt . Die Suppe war scharf obwohl ich nicht scharf bestellt habe und nachgefragt habe und mein Burger hatte Tomaten obwohl ich ohne bestellt habe. Der Cocktail meiner Frau hatte keine Gurke obwohl es angegeben war und die Tischlampe hat auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Das Spaghetti Eis war nicht @Spaghetti“ auch wenn es lecker war gewollt war ein Spaghetti Eis. Alles in allem würde ich nicht nochmal wieder kommen

So it's a far understatement to think it doesn't pop.... The taste explosion is guaranteed here. Absolutely recommended for young and old who don't want boring food. Price performance is absolutely justified and affordable here... you'll definitely get full

Super nettes Personal, super leckeres Essen. Wenn man dort überhaupt etwas anmerken möchte, viel auf, dass der Salat mit Teryaki Huhn sehr viel grünen Blattsalat enthielt und einem optisch nicht so wertig erschien, wie die Bowls. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Laut war es bei uns nur, weil unsere Tischnachbarn sehr laut waren. Insgesamt sonst super angenehm. Wir waren mehr als positiv angetan und kommen gerne wieder!

We were at "Ahoi" for the second time and this time we would be disappointed. At lunchtime there were still enough tables available and a waitress tried to assign us a table according to her wishes against our will. But we rejected that. Placing an order took a relatively long time because two service staff were constantly trying to outdo each other! One lady was probably new and the other, a small blonde woman all dressed in black, wanted to make her work uncomfortable in a harsh tone. Finally ordered and discovered that the steak was served relatively cool. The fries weren't really hot either. The fried fish was tasty, but so greasy. The prices have already increased a lot, which I don't care about. But for such a price I would also like to have the right food. It's a shame because the first visit there was very good.

Unfortunately, today we were not noticed at all and therefore not served, despite eye contact and several attempts to draw attention to us. There were several waitresses in this area and it wasn't too busy. So we got up and left after about 30 minutes, which was a shame. I was really looking forward to the delicious fries.. Another negative point outside is the smell from the sewers. Depending on where you sit, the smell is unfortunately unbearable. I hope that next time the service will be more attentive and you will be served.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, auch die Nachspeise war köstlich. Die Preise waren angemessen und der Service freundlich und schnell. Auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

First of all, you can't find the prices of the food anywhere online, so we looked at pictures online on Google of the memory card, which are definitely not up to date as the prices have gone up quite a bit. We still made a reservation and went there. We sat on the terrace outside because we wanted to enjoy the weather and I'm a smoker. After asking about an ashtray, I was told that although it was pointless, smoking was not allowed in these places, but they could put an ashtray outside at another table!? I didn't understand the meaning, but okay. Because the table was only 50cm further. Furthermore, in my opinion the price-performance ratio was not appropriate for what you get. A dry citizen carelessly diced together with loose fries on a plate - I expected more from a restaurant run by a star chef for around €20 per dish. The same with the fish & chips. Arrangement careless, effortless, effortless and unimaginative in my opinion. The chicken in the crispy chicken burger was delicious, as were the fries and the fried fish, but the price wasn't appropriate for the portion. The food also came without sauces, each sauce costs an extra 0.80 cents for mayo ketchup and the extravagant sauces almost twice as much, although I don't know baked fish without remoulade and I think it's part of it. However, service was friendly. However, I think this was our first and last visit.

Der Thunfish in "rare" war "well done". Selbst nach Reklamation und zweitem Versuch ein tief sattes Braun und trocken. Beim zweiten Anlauf wurde auch der Trüffel-Schaum der Bowl vergessen. Das Burgerpatty war auch "tot-"gebraten. Nach deutlicher Intervention kam zumindest ein Kinderburger in "medium". Dem Kellner war das alles peinlich und er hat wirklich alles versucht. VOm Restaurant keinerlei Entschuldigung. Volle Rechnung... Für einen Samstag-Abend ist es dort mittlerweile erstaunlich leer... ich hätte eine Ahnung...

Wir wurden äußerst freundlich bedient und unsere Enkelin erfreute sich sehr netter Zuwendung. Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker 😋. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend - sehr zu empfehlen.

Obwohl es wirklich nicht voll war, Grad mal 5 Tische besetzt, hat es die Servicekraft geschafft geschlagene 10 Minuten immer wieder an uns vorbei zu gehen ohne uns überhaupt zu beachten. Nachdem wir dann endlich unsere Getränke hatten wollte unser Enkelkind dann was zu essen bestellen und wieder wurden wir gekonnt ignoriert. Wir haben uns dann entschlossen woanders zu speisen. Einmal und nie wieder.

Vor ein paar Wochen war der Tunaburger wie er sein soll. Aussen schön abgegrillt, innen roh. Gestern das Gegenteil. Der Tunfisch war kpl durchgegrillt. Was ist da los in der Küche? Steffen Hennsler würde wahnsinnig, wenn er es wüsste. Ist auch das Ahoi in Köln ein Auslaufmodell? Wäre schade. Aber ein Burger für über 20,— Euro muss anders aussehen.

Wir waren gestern mit 4 Personen dort. Haben im Aussenbereich gesessen. Alle haben wir sehr gut 👍 und lecker gegessen. Es gab Fish und Chip Henssler Styl und Veergie Bowle.Danach gab es noch ein Eis .Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich .

Essen war okay bis gut, Service leider unter aller Sau bei dem Namen erwarte ich mehr. Die Weingläser wurden vergessen und auf Nachfrage geliefert. Die Flasche Wein durften wir dann selber öffnen und einschenken. Erwarte das das erste Glas vom Service eingeschenkt wird.

Die Currywurst schmeckte nach altem Fett und war nicht heiß. Die Pommes waren OK und der Service war gut. Herr Henssler sollte einfach mal probieren, was seine Küche verlässt.

Wir waren schon öfter dort. Diesmal habe ich das gleiche erwartet und weniger bekommen. Portionen sind ok und groß. Für Männer vielleicht zu wenig insbesondere beim Fisch Burger. Da ist nur ein Filet drauf. Bei den Fish and Chips Deluxe fehlt definitiv ein Salat. Und die Portion Trüffel Butter ist Mini. Die Getränke sind insbesondere bei den Cocktails voller Eis. Das nervt total für den Preis. Die bowls sind gut aber jeder Lieferdienst bekommt das genau so spannend hin Ich war nicht ganz zufrieden. Schade

The waffles were bought and not homemade.

The fish in the burger was super tasty, but the burger as a whole wasn't convincing. Unfortunately, the shape of the fish is a bit awkward because it only fills half of the bread and you basically only eat bread and lettuce in the other half. Maybe you could add a second fish for that price. The bread was dry and not fresh. The fries and sauce tasted very good. I wouldn't go there again for the burger. The fish and chips were delicious.

We were there on Sunday with a very large group (50 people)... The service was excellent, it couldn't be better, everyone was really friendly, no long waiting times... the food was also very good (everyone ate everything on the menu and everyone enjoyed it)... We would love to come back…

I had sushi bowl chicken teriyaki and fries “Henssler style”. The food was very tasty, everything was fresh, very seasoned and beautifully presented. Everything was just right - great! We will be back!

To be honest, we can't understand the many positive reviews. The only positive thing we can highlight was the service. the staff was very friendly and tried hard. But when it comes to food, unfortunately we can't say anything positive. we had the fish and chicken burger. You had to look for the fish under the burger bun because the piece was so small. The burger didn't have much more to offer. The chicken burger was declared as “Crispy Chicken”, but it was more of a limp schnitzel. the fries were more fatty than potatoes. For a hefty price of €20 per plate we were disappointed…

Wir waren zu 4. Ambiente ist sehr schön, klein aber durchaus ansprechend, es gibt auch eine Terrasse. Die Bedingung ist freundlich, nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt: Tuna Steak /Schnitzel/ Steak - mega, sehr lecker. Bei der Hamburger Kabeljau Filet war alles einzeln lecker, aber es hat mit Röstis nicht zusammen gepasst, zu deftig am Ende. Salat schmeckte auch sehr gut und Dessert ein Traum. Wir waren sehr überrascht, wie schnell alles vorbereitet wurde, dabei blieb alles frisch. Preislich etwas teuer. Rundum gelungener Abend.

The meal was excellent. We had steak and fish'n'chips with the Henssler fries and both dishes were very tasty. Both how the fries were dressed, but also the sauces and of course the meat and fish. Very good craftsmanship! The drinks were also delicious and had a lot of kick. We tried two of the house lemonades and a non-alcoholic cocktail. The composition is not available on every corner and is sophisticated and very tasty. Everything is also appetizingly prepared. The eye eats too. The desserts were just as great as the main courses and drinks. Since it was so delicious and there is still a lot to try, we will definitely come back. The waitresses were also very nice and friendly.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen! Wir hatten: Kartoffel-Sesamsuppe mit knusprig gebackenen Garnelen (Lecker!) Lachs Steak mit Steffens Teriyakisauce (ein Traum!!!), Süßkartoffel-Pommes “Henssler-Style“ sowie gebratenes Kabeljaufilet mit Kartoffelpuffer (die wären allerdings verbesserungsbedürftig), krosser Speck, Apfelmus und einer leckeren Senfsauce. Super netter Service!

Der Salat war sehr lecker mit besonderer Note im Geschmack des Dressings. Der Service war super, sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! Der Nachtisch (Brownie) war auch sehr lecker, aber viel zu süß (Zucker), gegen Ende spürte man den Zuckerschock

Food very good, nice and friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere. Since the restaurant is known beyond the borders... lots of guests.

Gutes Essen in netter Atmosphäre. Manchmal etwas laut.

We have been to the location several times, it was often very good and sometimes it just depends on the service. Today was just a disaster. We waited 10 minutes before we could even order - there were a lot of waiters there and few guests. After the meal, our table was cleared and we were asked about dessert - we ordered an espresso - we waited 20 minutes for it - when we asked, it was brought to us - we weren't even asked about any further requests - no one was interested . Then there was another interesting incident - a man ordered food to go - when he went out he dropped the mayo. The waitress saw it and simply turned around and sorted the cards at the counter and then headed towards the kitchen. The man picked everything up and then went to the counter - the maya had run out - it was put on a napkin and handed back to the man (it was lying open on the floor) the man accepted it and pointed out the mayo on the floor. Service is zero - the floor is totally dirty - everyone is totally overwhelmed... you feel unwanted as a guest. The food was super tasty.

The last time I ate great fish dishes, this time I tried the schnitzel and what can I say? Simply super good, the Hensler makes even something as simple as schnitzel into something special. Delicious!

Schon die Begrüßung ist sehr freundlich ausgefallen, ich hatte die freie Wahl, wo wir sitzen wollen. Der Service war super freundlich und schnell. Es wurde immer wieder nachgefragt, ob wir noch Wünsche haben. Die Bestellungen wurden schnell aufgenommen und es wurde auch auf individuelle Wünsche eingegangen. Das Essen kam promt, war auch ganz ok. Die Preise sind schon gesalzen, aber dafür speist man auch in einem außergewöhnlichen Ambiente. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed 🙁... We would have expected more and something special.... The service was very "robot-like".... And the food was in a class of a slightly better snack bar.... The prices are salted, like the popcorn 🍿 first of all... The fries were good... "Henssler Style" was unfortunately not an enrichment...

Alles in allem OK. Essen wie immer lecker und schnell.
