We were at MotorWorld Cologne... by chance we saw Steffen Henssler's Ahoy and went in spontaneously... A very nice atmosphere, great friendly service and the food is amazing. So it's a far understatement to think it doesn't pop.... The taste explosion is guaranteed here. Absolutely recommended for young and old who don't want boring food. Price performance is absolutely justified and affordable here... you'll definitely get full

The food here tastes very good. The service was very friendly and the price-performance ratio was also good. As a little goodie, salted popcorn is served at the very beginning.

We were at "Ahoi" for the second time and this time we would be disappointed. At lunchtime there were still enough tables available and a waitress tried to assign us a table according to her wishes against our will. But we rejected that. Placing an order took a relatively long time because two service staff were constantly trying to outdo each other! One lady was probably new and the other, a small blonde woman all dressed in black, wanted to make her work uncomfortable in a harsh tone. Finally ordered and discovered that the steak was served relatively cool. The fries weren't really hot either. The fried fish was tasty, but so greasy. The prices have already increased a lot, which I don't care about. But for such a price I would also like to have the right food. It's a shame because the first visit there was very good.

The waiter was very unpleasant. Every 5 minutes he asked again and again, quite annoyed, whether we had finally voted. Ambience...the restaurant is located in a kind of industrial area and the noise level was very high from proles driving past Food was OKKKKK... We don't have to go there a second time

We have been customers many times and have always been satisfied, especially with the food. Unfortunately, today we were not noticed at all and therefore not served, despite eye contact and several attempts to draw attention to us. There were several waitresses in this area and it wasn't too busy. So we got up and left after about 30 minutes, which was a shame. I was really looking forward to the delicious fries.. Another negative point outside is the smell from the sewers. Depending on where you sit, the smell is unfortunately unbearable. I hope that next time the service will be more attentive and you will be served.

First of all, you can't find the prices of the food anywhere online, so we looked at pictures online on Google of the memory card, which are definitely not up to date as the prices have gone up quite a bit. We still made a reservation and went there. We sat on the terrace outside because we wanted to enjoy the weather and I'm a smoker. After asking about an ashtray, I was told that although it was pointless, smoking was not allowed in these places, but they could put an ashtray outside at another table!? I didn't understand the meaning, but okay. Because the table was only 50cm further. Furthermore, in my opinion the price-performance ratio was not appropriate for what you get. A dry citizen carelessly diced together with loose fries on a plate - I expected more from a restaurant run by a star chef for around €20 per dish. The same with the fish & chips. Arrangement careless, effortless, effortless and unimaginative in my opinion. The chicken in the crispy chicken burger was delicious, as were the fries and the fried fish, but the price wasn't appropriate for the portion. The food also came without sauces, each sauce costs an extra 0.80 cents for mayo ketchup and the extravagant sauces almost twice as much, although I don't know baked fish without remoulade and I think it's part of it. However, service was friendly. However, I think this was our first and last visit.

The best thing was the friendly service. Unfortunately there is no vegan food available at all. Price performance not in balance.

Very tasty, small portions, classy and really impressive. I'll be back. P.s. I'm not a sushi eater but it was excellent (sushi with salmon) and lovingly decorated. The prices are pleasant and not overpriced. The restaurant is busy, so you might want to reserve a table beforehand. We were still lucky ❤️

Super tasty, crunchy roll fantastic, small note on the fish burger but Jonas (by the way, the best service man in a long time!! The waffles were bought and not homemade.

The fish in the burger was super tasty, but the burger as a whole wasn't convincing. Unfortunately, the shape of the fish is a bit awkward because it only fills half of the bread and you basically only eat bread and lettuce in the other half. Maybe you could add a second fish for that price. The bread was dry and not fresh. The fries and sauce tasted very good. I wouldn't go there again for the burger. The fish and chips were delicious.

We were there on Sunday with a very large group (50 people)... The service was excellent, it couldn't be better, everyone was really friendly, no long waiting times... the food was also very good (everyone ate everything on the menu and everyone enjoyed it)... We would love to come back…

Very nice atmosphere, very nice and attentive service. Despite our large group of around 45 people, the food was served surprisingly quickly. I had sushi bowl chicken teriyaki and fries “Henssler style”. The food was very tasty, everything was fresh, very seasoned and beautifully presented. Everything was just right - great! We will be back!

To be honest, we can't understand the many positive reviews. The only positive thing we can highlight was the service. the staff was very friendly and tried hard. But when it comes to food, unfortunately we can't say anything positive. we had the fish and chicken burger. You had to look for the fish under the burger bun because the piece was so small. The burger didn't have much more to offer. The chicken burger was declared as “Crispy Chicken”, but it was more of a limp schnitzel. the fries were more fatty than potatoes. For a hefty price of €20 per plate we were disappointed…

The restaurant was impressively beautifully designed. But you're just outside of Cologne. The food was very tasty and we really enjoyed it. The fish and chips are particularly recommended

The meal was excellent. We had steak and fish'n'chips with the Henssler fries and both dishes were very tasty. Both how the fries were dressed, but also the sauces and of course the meat and fish. Very good craftsmanship! The drinks were also delicious and had a lot of kick. We tried two of the house lemonades and a non-alcoholic cocktail. The composition is not available on every corner and is sophisticated and very tasty. Everything is also appetizingly prepared. The eye eats too. The desserts were just as great as the main courses and drinks. Since it was so delicious and there is still a lot to try, we will definitely come back. The waitresses were also very nice and friendly.

We have been to the location several times, it was often very good and sometimes it just depends on the service. Today was just a disaster. We waited 10 minutes before we could even order - there were a lot of waiters there and few guests. After the meal, our table was cleared and we were asked about dessert - we ordered an espresso - we waited 20 minutes for it - when we asked, it was brought to us - we weren't even asked about any further requests - no one was interested . Then there was another interesting incident - a man ordered food to go - when he went out he dropped the mayo. The waitress saw it and simply turned around and sorted the cards at the counter and then headed towards the kitchen. The man picked everything up and then went to the counter - the maya had run out - it was put on a napkin and handed back to the man (it was lying open on the floor) the man accepted it and pointed out the mayo on the floor. Service is zero - the floor is totally dirty - everyone is totally overwhelmed... you feel unwanted as a guest. The food was super tasty.

The last time I ate great fish dishes, this time I tried the schnitzel and what can I say? Simply super good, the Hensler makes even something as simple as schnitzel into something special. Delicious!

Unfortunately we were very disappointed 🙁... We would have expected more and something special.... The service was very "robot-like".... And the food was in a class of a slightly better snack bar.... The prices are salted, like the popcorn 🍿 first of all... The fries were good... "Henssler Style" was unfortunately not an enrichment...

We are here often. Some days it's a bit too crowded and noisy. And sometimes there seems to be too few staff on site. Otherwise everything is good and everyone is very friendly. We'd love to come back.

We were there with 4 people to have a nice evening. Service wasn't exactly quick but eventually our food came. My potato soup with 2 fried crabs was nothing special, but it was about to get worse :-( The hamburger I ordered with anticipation was in the upper segment in terms of price, but the quality and preparation were absolutely subpar. Instead of a juicy patty, I got a dark, fried meat patty, dry and over-seasoned. Just about able to enjoy the fries. All in all, never had such a bad hamburger at such a price, over €21 with fries. My review to myself, thank you never again. My three companions will neither recommend this restaurant nor visit it again.

We were here for the second time because we still had credit on our voucher. On our first visit we had a steak and the tuna steak with fries. It was tasty, but nothing earth-shattering. On our second visit we decided to do something different and each had a bowl. Here I understood for the first time what is meant by the sixth sense “Umami”. That was the tastiest bowl we've eaten so far.

Food was delicious (had a sushi bowl with shrimp and a chocolate tart). Unfortunately, there were several litter flies flying or sitting around our table, especially at the three windows opposite the counter, and one was even crawling around on our table. If you like, you can google where they come from and what health risks they pose. The food was fresh, no question about it, but the fear remains that someone might have sat on the food and I now have to seriously worry about my health... the service knew about the problem, which the previous owner probably already had - it's a shame It is apparently not possible to permanently eliminate the abortion flies. I would have come again, but because of the abortion flies I will not do so for the sake of my health. A pity!

Fleisch zäh, Teriyakisosse versalzen, Remoulade mit Salat und Zwiebeln auf den Pommes ohne das wir es wussten, Beilagensalat gut. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Küche und Bedienung gaben zu: das war einfach schlecht und boten kostenfreien Nachtisch oder Getränke an. Nur dafür hatten wir das Restaurant nicht aufgesucht. Diese Art des Speisenangebotes ( Burger/Steak/Sushi) bekommen wir überall. Es ist nichts besonderes. Burger und Sushi können wir nicht beurteilen, zu jedem Gericht wird die versalzene „ Henssler‘s Teriyakisosse angeboten. Fazit: wir kommen nicht wieder, und als Impuls: vielleicht das Konzept überdenken und ein Statement setzen für was sich der Weg zum „ Ahoi“ lohnt. Was soll das Besondere sein? Wofür steht der Namen „ Henssler“? Direkt in unmittelbarer Nähe kann man Pizza und Steak essen…. Herr Henssler, es soll eine konstruktive Kritik sein, der Mensch wächst mit den Aufgaben und manchmal ist man so im Stress, das man die Hauptsache aus den Augen verliert.

Why only 3 stars 🌟, the food was ok but not the service, even if you have a name called Hänsler you should always use 100 quality ingredients - the burger was ok but for the price around 20 euros you should use organic salad , or adjust the quality of the meat, the fries were very good 👍 but the side dish of fresh onions and coriander didn't go well with the fries. There are some Bürger stores that are of higher quality and offer a better price-performance ratio - and it's better to throw away an old lettuce leaf instead of giving it to the customer - for me the store is a laughing stock. I can do a better job of it - the salad my friend was ok

We had the teriyaki burger, the chicken bowl and for the kids the children's burger and the salad with chicken skewer. The only thing that was really tasty was the bowl. Everything else was below average. So the conclusion of an experience was that it was worth it but if you buy a burger with the same taste at the snack bar next door you will save at least 50% and support regional gastronomy.

After visiting an art exhibition in Cologne, we put the icing on the cake here. The atmosphere was nice, the staff attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and the lemonades were great.

Nice atmosphere, the staff was very friendly. We first looked at the cars and then went out to eat. The food itself was delicious, but I had one or two things in my sushi bowl that somehow tasted slightly like dishwashing liquid/dishwashing water, such as the piece of avocado or parts of the rice. Still, the rest was delicious.

Ich war schon öfters da und ich hatte bis jetzt immer Glück. Das Essen war immer lecker. Die Fish & Chips mit Trüffelbutter und die Bowl mit Lachs sind extrem lecker. Der Service hat bis jetzt auch immer gepasst. Preislich waren sie bis jetzt immer teurer als in der City, ich fand es dafür aber auch besser. Da ich jetzt ein paar Monate nicht mehr da war, weiß ich nicht, ob die Preise, wie im Rest Köln, auch noch mehr in die Höhe geschossen sind. Die Lage ist nicht so prickelnd. Nähe Wertstoffhof der AWB, neben der Motorworld in Ossendorf. Gibt nettere Orte. Aber ist halt so. Freu mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch und ich hoffe, es ist preislich inzwischen noch im Rahmen.

Very friendly and attentive service. Food was really good too! The location is also cool, but it was a bit cold in the back and people kept walking past the table wanting to go to Motorworld. Next time we will take a different table :) Otherwise everything was great and we had a lovely afternoon.

Essen und Service Top, Preise hoch bis unverschämt. Tunabowl sehr lecker aber mittlerweile 3.-€ teurer, darüber kann man ja noch dank der Qualität hinweg sehen, aber der Homöopathische Gurkensalat (siehe Foto) für 2,50€ ist einfach unverschämt. Das Personal war auch bei unserem 5. Besuch einfach TOP! Ab und zu, unter weglassen eines Gurkensalat, kann man sich das gerne mal gönnen.

Unusual! The ambience is inviting and stands out above all because of the Motorworld cars, as the restaurant is open inside. The food is delicious and the menu is well laid out. The price is slightly higher, so you can pay for everything. The waiters are friendly and attentive and match the style of the restaurant. There are enough parking spaces and can be used for a small fee of 60ct per hour.

A very special experience. How 2* can become 5* through effort! Yesterday (March 16, 2024) we were in the restaurant with 5 people and ordered three different dishes. When ordering, my wife and I ordered a Tuna Burger. Afterwards, we ordered the service staff to place the order with the advice that the tuna should be cooked through a little more. After some time the dishes were served to us. But everyone was only in a lukewarm state. We called the waitress and explained to her that all of our food tasted good, just not the temperature! The service person reported this to the kitchen and came back with the information! The food would probably be lukewarm because we would have liked our tuna to be finished and the other dishes would have been on a warming plate. Absolute incomprehension by everyone present. Even the service person was embarrassed to tell us this. She tried very hard and offered us all an espresso to make up for it. We accepted. But she went a step further in the background and documented our concerns to the manager of the restaurant and it is probably thanks to her suggestion that there is no such thing as a service desert in Germany. Because we were given a very generous discount on the entire meal, which amazed us all. Conclusion: As already mentioned, the service staff's intervening manner turned 2 stars into a 5 star evening and the service staff is our employee of the month for March.

First of all, the Crispy Shrimp Bowl was a culinary delight. The combination was delicious... We had made reservations inside and were sitting in the tent annex at a narrow table divided by a pole. The chairs got cold from the bottom while we were eating. A thick seat cushion would have been nice nicer, so I sat on the jacket. The service was very quick and friendly. But the volume of the "guests" sitting around was terrible and then there was the music, narrow and loud, that's my summary. But I would still like to visit an Ahoi restaurant again. Maybe while on holiday on the Baltic Sea. By the way, the panfish was the best we had have ever eaten.

Staff incredibly unfriendly, food lukewarm, served at a delayed time and super long waiting times for everything! We waited over 70 minutes for dessert. After 1 minute the waiter snatched it away from our daughter with the comment that it was the wrong one. She burst into tears and we finally had enough of the restaurant. No apology, nothing at all. There was no response to two complaint emails to the restaurant management. Never again!

EVERYTHING works here. The food is excellent and really plentiful. This time we unfortunately couldn't manage dessert, another reason to go back 🫶. As has often been mentioned, the staff is really very friendly and competent. Ambience cool and chic😎.

Nach 1 Minute hat der Kellner ihn unserer Tochter wieder weggerissen mit dem Kommentar, das war der Falsche. Sie brach in Tränen aus und wir hatten endgültig genug von dem Restaurant. Keine Entschuldigung, gar nichts. Auf 2 Beschwerdemails an die Restaurantleitung wurde nicht reagiert. Nie wieder!

Gutes Essen, jedoch wurden im November/ Dezember die Preise erhöht obwohl der Mehrwertsteueranstieg auf 19% im Januar bevor stand - etwas sehr fragwürdig !!!

It's a shame if you're just trying to make money with this name. Every MC D makes better burgers, the steak was tough and far from what we ordered and expected. Always the Hensler special sauce here and Hensler style there, but only 0815 on the plate and extra expensive prices... Well... a moron gets up every day, you just have to find him. This time we fell for it. The service was understaffed and pretty much messed up everything, drinks, starters and main courses. Everything mixed and swapped. Really bitter... But for the fanboys it's certainly unique that you can travel 200km and also be able to flood your social channels with photos of PS cars from the motor world. And save yourself the comment about the recession. I simply don't care.

We generally like to eat there. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was packed. The service was quite overwhelmed and our food was served lukewarm (including curry sausage fries). The chairs were also very cold so I had to sit on my jacket. Would try another Ahoy next time.

The food, the fish, the sauces, the fries was delicious and the steak, cooked to order, was well cooked. Our waitress, Jonas, was extremely friendly and very attentive. We found our first visit to the AHOI so good that we would be happy to come back and recommend you to others. Keep it up, you're doing everything right.

Just don't order steak Starter was super tasty. (Salad) Although I didn't want the classic but the chicken teriyaki. The main course was rump steak with fries, the fries were really great but the steak I ordered as medium rare came rare, I asked for it to be repaired but only the cut side was put on the grill for a short time, I then got half of the steak left lying around because it was still almost raw. The structure of the steak was also very high, perhaps in the future you should cut the pieces a centimeter thinner then you can achieve the right level of cooking. I think without the special name the store would have trouble staying afloat. I arrived with relatively high expectations and was very disappointed. Unfortunately there is no ambience, there is a passing audience and therefore an increased volume. The places are also not particularly attractive. I ordered a burger with fries and a salad. Some of the fries were rock hard, the burger was tasty, but not for this price. The salad was also OK. The overall package simply didn't appeal to me and my group; there could have been much more. Nobody will come from us anymore.

We are live on site, that staff is not able to clear the tables after the guests and assign us a table. Ridiculous. We've always been happy here. But the train arrived for us. Greetings to the boss. 👎👎👎

Unfortunately we managed to get a seat in the drafty passageway, despite having a reservation. The food was good, the service made an effort.

The main courses were good but the dessert is unfortunately not worth mentioning. The ice cream had really big water crystals as if it had already been thawed.

Facility top. Adjacent to the Motoworld Cologne hall. Unfortunately, this makes it a bit cold in winter. But there are places closer to the entrance that are untouched by this. Stylish furnishings. Restaurant level fast food. I love it.

We were there twice last weekend... both times the reservation went smoothly and on Saturday the reservation was even spontaneous. Friday it was absolutely awesome.. Service was top notch with 100 stars.. Food was more than a pleasure.. unfortunately on Saturday everything wasn't quite as smooth.. However, it was also a bit fuller and the lady in service unfortunately had a lot to do.. My Unfortunately, the lady had to eat my burger because of the lady's incorrect information, but mistakes happen, I was appeased by the sushi to begin with and my experience the day before. Next time, when we travel 100km to eat with you, we hope to enjoy the experiences and enjoyment of the first evening. The location in the middle of Motorworld was also brilliantly chosen... suits the Henßler ;)

Four of us went to Motorworld on Sunday and were looking forward to fresh chips and fish at Steffen Hengsler's “Ahoi”. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food is frozen goods. On a French fries stand level 😕 a complete disappointment!!! Price-performance fits in the smallest possible way - never again. Here you only pay for the name, good food can be found elsewhere! It's a shame, there was no response to our complaint about the food.

Due to an event next door, there was no parking space and we had to walk a long way. Even though it was on the absolute outskirts of Cologne, parking on site would have cost a fee. Reservation apparently not available. Food is average, but expensive. I've eaten fish and chips much better elsewhere, and the fries were extremely seasoned. Two out of three burgers were completely cooked through. We waited forever for food and were there for 3.5 hours. However, the service was super nice.
