Nice little restaurant in the middle of Bonn. Not only is it beautifully furnished and strikes the perfect balance between rustic design and elegance, but it also impresses with very good food. My pizza was big, crispy and as tasty as in Italy. The service was very courteous and tried to accommodate every request.

Been there twice. Quantity is great, quality was once very good, other times quite OK. Service friendly and funny.

I have to say I would have preferred Borsalino earlier, but everything is evolving and so is this shop. Personally, I used to find food tastier, but it was okay. The service today was, just like before, mega good and very nice. Thanks again for the nice service 😊

The delivery was quick, but unfortunately the food was okay. The Bolognese is definitely not homemade as it is advertised. Is the typical orange sauce with finely pureed minced meat. I ate 3 forkfuls and left the rest. We added salt, pepper and parmesan ourselves, but that didn't make it tasty either. When I order in a restaurant, I expect more. I could have done it better myself.

Waiter, young man impatiently knocks on our table when taking our order so that we should hurry up. I wanted tagliatelle with prawns, I was told there was only prawns. I took it, after 10 minutes I was told it wasn't there. Then ordered pizza funghi with onions. What was missing ? Of course the onions. Notified and didn't even get the drinks on the house with the bill. Never again in this store.

A table was reserved and confirmed for the European Championship game, but when we arrived on time they had forgotten or it just didn't matter because all the tables were full. We were lucky to get a table because someone was leaving. But that's not possible and there wasn't even an apology. The second star is only given because the staff was super nice and friendly despite the hut being full.

We had a pizza funghi and a burrito with salad. Both were very tasty and the quantity was almost too much. The drinks were very tasty. The service was very friendly and I have fond memories of it. The location has a pleasant atmosphere and appears clean. The reason why some guests throw paper towels on the floor in the toilet is because the trash can is hidden under the sink. However, I don't see this as a fault on the part of the operator, but simply inconsideration or disrespect on the part of some guests. The toilet seemed clean and well maintained to me. I would love to come back!

I had reserved a table for EM for 12 people, but got a table for 7... Extremely disappointing.

Unfortunately, since Corona, the prices here have risen sharply, as in almost all restaurants. An extensive selection of home cooking, Mediterranean dishes and pasta dishes are served here. This makes them solid, even if the quality is not at the same level as a real Italian restaurant would be. But the food is still good, tasty and plentiful. As a student, you just think about whether you can still afford dinner and a drink/cocktail here. At least the lunch specials are available with special prices for those on a budget. So definitely suitable for one or two visits during the week.

Unfortunately, in the kitchen there is no hairnet for longer hairstyles, which I won't go into in more detail now. Had just ordered via Uber, unfortunately the fried potatoes were very flabby and the pork medallions were tough. The food is nowhere near the price.

As a student, I used to eat here often. Now, after four years, I visited the restaurant again. Prices have increased by around 110% while quality has unfortunately decreased. I understand the price increase due to inflation but not the loss of quality and smaller portions. For a dish that costs €23, I expect more flavor. The food was disappointing and tasteless.

We each had a schnitzel, it really wasn't good. Everything was soaked in a sauce and the two pieces of meat on the plate each tasted different; they were returned half-eaten. An accomodation with a dessert on the house was well-intentioned, but it basically just made everything worse. These 4.5 stars are completely unjustified.

Previously a great place where we ordered 16 tasty drinks at once during happy hours. The last time I was here (practically the only visitor to the bar), the wait staff did their job in no time and the drink was good as always, but unfortunately that was about it. I had a terrible appetite and wanted to order a lot more, but unfortunately they left me sitting for half an hour and then no one came to take my order, so I better go next door. Damage.

The pizza was really delicious. The edge is thick and the bottom is very thin. We could easily order the pizzas without cheese. Unfortunately the free starter was not vegan, which is a shame.

Despite all the stress, the waitress Anna was great! We felt very well looked after. We can only recommend it. Food was good and the price was right too!

We had a fantastic evening at Borsalino. The staff was super attentive and very nice throughout the evening. We didn't eat anything, but the drinks, especially the recommended cocktail, were delicious. We would be happy to be your guests again on your next trip to Cologne!

Amazing service and very understanding waiters main issue was the extremely dry meat I got served on my grill plate, all 3 meat types were very dry and flavourless. I got another piece of chickeb which turned out good for takeout as compensation but still left alightly dissapointed

There were four of us here and no one was happy. The rice in the bowl wasn't cooked, the supposed Parma ham on the pizza wasn't, the beef carpaccio was cooked and stuck to the plate (hot plate from the dishwasher or frozen carpaccio defrosted in the microwave) and the saltimbocca was tough and drowned in an indefinable cream sauce. Apart from the high prices, it had absolutely nothing to do with a good Italian restaurant. A ruined evening for 140 EUR. Mediocre service and ambience didn't make up for the bad food. Expressly not a recommendation!

Food and service was ok but going to the toilet was torture, the door to the toilet was closed and there was no way to dry your hands because the device was broken and there weren't even any towels put out to dry them.

It's very nice in there I am very picky (I eat pasta and tomato sauce without pieces) and you can order with so many extra wishes, e.g I ordered pasta with tomato sauce but without pieces and there were ZERO pieces in there. Very nice bar/restaurant close to the Südbahnhof. The staff was super nice and the noodles were very good.

We were here for the first time. The staff greeted us very friendly when we entered the restaurant and we were able to choose anywhere in the restaurant with our dog. After ordering our drinks and food, we immediately received delicious mini rolls with 2 different sauces for dipping. These were very tasty and warm. I tried one of the homemade kiwi iced teas here. Super tasty, I have to say. The burgers were very fresh and tasty, but the portions were too much for me. So there is definitely a “get full” guarantee here. We will be back.

31 eu for schnitzel that was inedible without sauce and several hairs found in various main courses. So we were not satisfied, but at the end the clerk also asked for a tip. We gave that tip but according to her it was too little so she didn't add it up and walked away angry. A shame for the catering industry...

Einfach toll, besonders der blonde Kellner is eine Augenweide. Sehr leckere Pasta,Pizza und auch die Fleischgerichte sind sehr lecker.

Einfach Kult in diesem heruntergekommenen Viertel mit seinem eigenen Charme. Immer noch die beste Lasagne in town! Nachtrag Januar 2024: Haben gerade 2 x Lasagne abgeholt und sind echt geschockt, dass die Lasagne jetzt 13,90 Euro kostet. Noch gar nicht lange her, da lag der Preis bei 6,50 Euro! War dann wohl heute, nach 15jähriger Restaurant-Treue, das letzte Mal hier zu essen. Daher reduziere ich meine Sterne von 5 auf 3. Bei allem Respekt, aber so eine Preiserhöhung innerhalb von knapp einem Jahr ist echt nicht kundenfreundlich.

Die Kurzform: Essen: Lecker Getränke: Gute Auswahl, gutes Kölsch Personal: Nett, aufmerksam, gepflegt Preise: Inzwischen angehoben, aber noch okay Lage: Mitten im Studentenviertel, Ecklokal Empfehlung: Die Cocktails ############# Die Langform: Kenne das Borsa seit vielen Jahren. Ein sehr netter Anlaufpunkt. Optimal gelegen, um sich mit Freunden zu treffen und den Abend im "Studierenden-Viertel" zu starten. Oder um mittags seinen Cappuccino zu trinken und sich dazu ein Tiramisu zu gönnen. Das Essen dort war bis 2021 sehr gut, aber eben das Übliche. Nichts, was rausstach. Das hat sich geändert. Denn das Lokal hat sich neu ausgerichtet, seitdem es Anfang 2022 komplett renoviert wurde. Die Optik ist jetzt feiner, es fehlt dafür etwas an der alten Gemütlichkeit. Aber die Renovierung, auch die Neuausrichtung, waren auch bitter nötig. Zum Einen, um das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Inventar mal endlich auszutauschen. Zum anderen aber auch, weil das Niveau auf der bekannten "Feiermeile" im Kwartier Latäng seit etwa 2015 insgesamt drohte, immer unterirdischer zu werden: Lärmbelästigung für die Anwohner, Alkoholexzesse und Prügeleien (meist durch Jugendliche und Nicht-Kölner) und harte Kampfpreise bei minderwertiger Warenqualität (vom Döner to go bis hin zu den Cocktails im Viertel) waren fast schon trauriger Alltag geworden. Über die Gründe hierfür lässt sich trefflich spekulieren, aber mit Sicherheit hat dazu beigetragen, dass einige neue Gastromen das Viertel aufmischten mit ihren "hippen" Lokalen, die ein junges und gerne exzessiv feierndes Publikum anziehen. Welches nur kleine bis kleinste Preise bezahlen will (das es einen direkten Zusammenhang gibt zwischen dem Preis und der angebotenen Ware scheint ihnen dabei nicht bewusst oder schlicht egal zu sein - ebenso auch den neu zugezogenen Gastwirten, die oft gar nicht wirklich aus der Gastro kommen). Sogar die Stadt Köln sah sich bereits genötigt, durch mehr Präsenz von Polizei und Ordnungsamt wieder etwas Ruhe und Ordnung in das Kwartier Latäng genannte Viertel zu bringen. Und das umso mehr nach den Corona-Jahren 2020/2021, weil die Leute plötzlich - und wohl durch die wieder erhaltene "Freiheit" - dort wie außer Kontrolle eskalierten beim feiern. Und auch, weil sie im Schnitt immer jünger wurden. Aus dem klassischen "Studenten-Viertel" drohte ein "Schüler- und Jugendviertel" zu werden. Meine Beobachtung - auch als Anwohner im Kwartier Latäng - ist: Das "neue Borsalino" trägt mit dazu bei, das Niveau im Veedel wieder anzuheben. Vom guten Essen über die Weinkarte bis hin zum Personal. Letzteres ist in der Gastro des Viertels leider immer öfter eine Seltenheit, im Borsa wird aber seit jeher schon darauf geachtet (nicht zuletzt deswegen wurde ich ja auch Stammgast hier, denn man will ja nicht von ruppigen, lahmen oder ungepflegten Menschen bedient werden den halben Abend...) Neuerdings gibt es dort Bowls, mit Dressings und knackigen Beilagen wird das Essen aufgepeppt. Auch die Qualität der eingesetzten Ware ist gut, was man schmeckt. Aber auch an etwas gestiegenen Preisen spürt, die jedoch im Gastro-Preisspiegel in Köln immer noch im "normalen bis oberen Mittelfeld" liegen. Die Kosten für Lebensmittel und Energie sind aktuell in Deutschland explodiert. Hinzu kommt noch der deutlich angestiegene Mindestlohn, der ja auch in der Gastro gezahlt werden muss. Ich kann die Szene also durchaus verstehen, auch wenn ich es natürlich nicht wirklich toll finden kann, aus der Sicht eines Kunden bzw Gastes gesehen. Fazit: Hier geht man nicht den Weg "Hauptsache, der Umsatz stimmt". Übrigens: Einige der vom "alten Borsa" gewohnten Gerichte stehen noch auf der Karte. So sollten auch hartnäckige Gewohnheitsmenschen, die z.B. ihr lieb gewonnenes Putenschnitzel oder ihre Spaghetti Bolo dort weiter essen wollen, nicht zu kurz kommen.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen da und die Bedienung war toll, super höflich und zuvorkommend. Pizza und Bowl waren lecker. Ich hatte mir den Chef-Burger bestellt und war enttäuscht, in der Karte steht 200gr. Putenpattie bekam aber Geschnetzeltes Putenfleisch! Auch die Rostzwiebeln fehlten! Auf meinen Hinweis ging der Kellner bei Koch nachfragen und der sagte ihm, die machen das immer mit dem Geschnetzelten und das er leider die Zwiebeln vergessen habe. Zur Entschuldigung erhielt ich das hausgemachte Tiramisu, was sehr lecker war. Bitte ändert die Beschreibung des Chef-Burger in der Speisekarte. Das ist irreführend!

Uns hat der Service sehr gut gefallen und ebenso das Essen! Auch die kleinen Brötchen zur Vorspeise sind hervorragend! Der Ziegenkäsesalat hat sehr gut geschmeckt, nur leider war etwas zu viel Dressing im Salat, werde ich nächstes mal separat bestellen. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen.

Las últimas reseñas no son falsas, somos un grupo de 10 personas que teníamos reserva a las 21:30 con The Fork, llegamos allí a las 21:10 y nos dijeron que ya era tarde. No nos quisieron atender y punto.

Mi experiencia en este restaurante fue decepcionante. A pesar de haber realizado una reserva, no se nos permitió cenar sin una explicación clara. Me siento estafado y frustrado por la falta de transparencia. Además, es preocupante que el establecimiento ponga en duda las opiniones de sus clientes en lugar de abordar los problemas de manera proactiva y profesional.Dice mucho de un restaurante que trata así a clientes independientemente de su etnia o país de procedencia, y pretende dejarlos de mentirosos porque son tan incompetentes que no saben dar una respuesta con un mínimo nivel de civismo.

Reservamos para el día 31 a las 21:30 con dos semanas de antelación, el mismo día llamamos para confirmar la reserva. Llegamos al local con 20 minutos de antelación y nos dicen que llegamos tarde y que cerraban en breves. Me parece pésimo el modo en que nos atendieron y como nos dejaron tirados viniendo de tan lejos como España en una fecha tan importante. (Tenemos capturas de pantalla de la hora de la reserva)

We booked weeks before for the end-of-year dinner, we called in advance to confirm the reservation and we arrived before the reservation to avoid delays. When we arrived they told us that it was late and they would not attend us, in bad ways and without any kind of explanation, we will not repeat. Very bad service and treatment

Nos han confirmado la reserva online. Hemos llamado para hacer una segunda confirmación y nos la han confirmado. Llegamos al restaurante y no nos han atendido. Nos han tratado como idiotas y nos han dejado plantados. Hoy es día 31 de Diciembre y habíamos reservado para cenar. Lamentable. Como podéis ver, reservamos a las 21:30. Llegamos a las 21. No les apeteció atendernos.

2* for the owner's effort. We reserved online and asked for a baby chair in the comments. Arrived there, we ask to get the baby chair to relax, and let him relax and enjoy the dinner. The staff told us they'll bring it. When the main course arrived, we had to ask again, to be told that they actually don't have any! Food wasn't bad for the price.

Das Essen war leider sehr minderwertig und kaum verzehrbar! Der Service war zwar freundlich, doch leider ein wenig unprofessionell! Ambiente war gut. Letztendlich leider keine gute Erfahrung.

Das Essen im Borsalino war nicht nur lecker, sondern die Portionen waren auch großzügig bemessen. Die Dame im Service war äußerst nett und aufmerksam, was unseren Besuch besonders angenehm machte. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war ausgezeichnet, und wir planen definitiv, wiederzukommen. Das Borsalino ist absolut empfehlenswert und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Preisleistung fast unschlagbar aber in den hinteren Reihen ist es im Winter etwas kalt.

Nach dem Umbau etwas "chic" geworden - einige exklusiv teure neue Gerichte auf der Karte. Ansonsten hat sich nichts geändert...

Sehr leckeres Essen, da gibt es nix zu mosern. Der Salat kam sehr spät. Im Restaurant war es recht zugig. Die Toilette war solala. Es waren weder Handtücher noch Trockner da.

Bedienung war freundlich, dass war es dann aber auch schon. Wir hatten Burger, die miesesten seit langer Zeit. Auch Pommes kann man echt wesentlich leckerer hinbekommen. Die Toiletten waren dreckig und klebrig. Offene Kabel am Handtrockner- meiner Meinung nach Gefährlich. Kaum zu Hause angekommen, krasse Bauchschmerzen und Durchfall. Keine Empfehlung!

Super Frühstück. Alles war sehr lecker und üppig. Der extra Speck war auch weitaus mehr als erwartet. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt.

Ich habe die unangenehmste Situation erlebt, die ich je in einem Restaurant hatte. Ich hatte zwei Grillplatten für 2 Personen bestellt und uns wurde das Falsche serviert. Die Person, die es an den Tisch brachte, war nicht dieselbe Person, die die Bestellung aufgenommen hatte, wir hatten sie darauf hingewiesen, dass dies falsch war, und sie nahmen die Teller zurück. Dann kam die Person, die die Bestellung aufgenommen hatte, mit den Tellern zurück und war sehr unhöflich und wollte klarstellen, dass ich das bestellt hatte. Missverständnisse können natürlich passieren, aber sie war von Anfang an sehr unhöflich und hat uns nicht geglaubt. Ich hatte den Teller, der uns gebracht wurde, nicht einmal auf der Speisekarte gesehen, so dass ich mir sicher war, dass ich keinen Fehler gemacht hatte. Ich habe ihr dann auch gesagt, dass diese unangenehme Situation mit dem Hunger vorbei sei, auch das hat sie angezweifelt und konnte es nicht verstehen, am Ende habe ich akzeptiert, dass das richtige Essen gebracht wurde, aber hatte keinen Appetit mehr. Missverständnisse können von beiden Seiten immer passieren aber ein solches Verhalten geht garnicht. Einmal und nie wieder.

Vorab: ich kann jegliche schlechte Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Das Restaurant hat nach der Renovierung nicht nur ein moderneres Ambiente, sondern die Qualität der Zutaten und Gerichte verbessert. Nicht nur Veganer und Vegetarier kommen auf ihre Kosten, sondern auch Menschen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit können sich unter anderem glutenfreie Pasta bestellen. Hauptsache gute Lebensmittel verlangen und nur 5€ dafür zahlen wollen. Ich bevorzuge Qualität vor Quantität. ;) Auf jeden Fall: Borsalino ist super lecker. Abgesehen von der guten Lage, die man mit verschiedenen Linien erreichen kann und in einem Studentenviertel liegt, bietet das Restaurant allerlei Gerichte. Von frischer Tomatensuppe, über selbstgemachte Pasta, bis hin zum guten Burger, kann man reichlich leckere Gerichte in der Speisekarte finden. Außerdem schmecken die Cocktails auch super und es gibt generell eine sehr gute Auswahl an Wein, Longdrinks, Sours, etc. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und geht auf Wünsche ein. Man fühlt sich willkommen und wohl. Außerdem werden Fußballspiele auf einer großen Leinwand sehr gut übertragen. Ich bin nicht nur einmal dort gewesen und werde das Restaurant Borsalino in Zukunft öfters besuchen.

Food was okay and well presented. However, the waitress messed up the plates (who h can happen) but she was accusing us of ordering 2 plates that we didn't even know that were on the menu. She was not even able to apologize for the succeed. In the payment she messed up with the orders again, putting more amount of plates than what we ordered. Really bad service. Regarding the hygiene, was also a no go
