Friendly staff, good food. Lunch deals are worthwhile.

I always eat there when I'm in Cologne. I eat and watch football. Good pizza and salads. Friendly service, big TVs.

Cold fried potatoes with leftover aluminum foil in them, the veal saltimbocca tasted like it had been kept warm for 3 hours and there were also leftover aluminum foil in the pizza, despite there being little activity, cold food.

Unfortunately, prices here have risen sharply since Corona, as in almost all restaurants. An extensive selection of home cooking, Mediterranean dishes and pasta dishes are served here. This makes them solid, even if the quality is not at the same level as a real Italian restaurant would be. But the food is still good, tasty and plentiful. As a student, you just think about whether you can still afford dinner and a drink/cocktail here. At least the lunch specials are available with special prices for those on a budget. So definitely suitable for one or two visits during the week.

I'll start directly with the staff: the employee Luana gave us a divine welcome and provided outstanding service. For being so young, she knows exactly how to deal with guests. The food was also absolutely top class, and the Kölsch had the perfect head of foam. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is consciously looking for a unique spot in Cologne.

Delicious food at great prices, but the cocktails are absolutely amazing. They are all great no matter which one you order and only cost €4 during happy hour. We've been coming there for a cocktail evening for several years. However, you should reserve in advance as it can get full quickly.

Cozy restaurant pleasant and relaxed atmosphere

We ordered a Saltimbocca a la Romana and the turkey steak. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The Saltimbocca did not have Parma ham (as it should have and was advertised as such in the menu) but was served with pancetta and there was no sage either. The consistency of the sauce was more like a pudding and completely tasteless. It shouldn't happen that you use other ingredients as a substitute and thus deceive the customer. Parma ham is one thing and pancetta is another...without mentioning the price of the respective products!!!The turkey steak was almost unseasoned and the sauce was the same misery...The only good thing about both dishes were the fried potatoes. When I asked about the Parma ham, they tried to suggest to me that it was Parma ham and that I couldn't taste it...unbelievable! Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant and advise against it. Be careful what you order and make sure you get what is on the menu. Bad value for money!

The food is very tasty and the prices are normal for this time (especially at lunch). The meal doesn't take long and there are also free rolls with herb butter and herb quark. A very nice restaurant right on Zülpicher Straße. Anisa in particular was very nice :)

We were in Cologne today for a day visit and were looking for a restaurant where we could enjoy our dinner so we came across this one. The service was super friendly and also very quick, the food was great and, since there was so much, it was packed without any problems. My husband paid and we left, on the way home we talked about it again and he told me that the meal cost €135. I have no problem spending a little more when you go out to eat but I knew that my meal + drink cost around €23. 2 more meals for €14.90 each and a few drinks, I just looked at the menu again and came to a total of around €80 Unfortunately we didn't get a receipt and I'm really annoyed that I wasn't there when I paid. The food was great, but something wasn't right here today. Since we don't have any plans to visit Cologne in the near future, we unfortunately couldn't clarify our concerns in person, which is a shame!

There were two of us there today, Saturday evening (5.4.25 around 1845 p.m.), it was well filled but not overcrowded. A friendly welcome and then the Borsalino staff did everything they could to put aside a really bad service. First of all we were ignored for 15 minutes and no one came Staff felt responsible for us. However, everyone at the neighboring tables was served. After another 5 minutes, a waitress came over very forcedly and with a look that was very disrespectful and said “I'm better than you”. She then took our order which was 2 cocktails and was gone. New people sat down next to us and were served immediately and received their cocktails quite quickly. After 25 minutes of waiting for our drinks, which didn't come, we left. As we were leaving, the waitress who had taken our order said a rather gloating “goodbye”. So if you can afford such behavior and such service on Zülpicher Straße with the surrounding competition, everything has been done right here. My conclusion, not recommended and definitely avoided. Instead of 1 star I would give 0 stars everywhere.

Very very good. Delicious food and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The food came quickly (there were 25 of us). The toilet is a bit difficult. It smelled bad and it was dirty… that wasn't so good, but otherwise great. Anisa was our waitress: high praise!

We made a reservation here today and are more than satisfied and happy! The service is top, the lasagne and potato gratin are great and even come with lots of sauce! The portions are very tasty for the price, and there is free bread. The passion fruit spritzer is also excellent, just a little more fizz would be great. Thank you very much and gladly again

Food is very tasty and fresh, we were very satisfied. The waitress, a gentleman named Kambiz, was also very attentive and friendly. If something was missing it came within a minute.

We wanted to redeem a 2 for 1 deal from Neotaste. We were literally told: “Do you want to mess around for 7 euros” and rejected the voucher. Why do we offer such vouchers? To insult customers? This is not Cologne friendliness.

Had tickets for the party on March 1st. Tickets alone cost €20 per person in advance. We then ordered a wreath from a young waiter in the store for €30. They didn't have enough money and even gave the man €35. He said he would bring change with the wreath. In the end, the wreath we ordered didn't come and the above-mentioned waiter and everyone acted as if they didn't know anything about the order. We were then cheekily asked to simply order a new wreath and pay for it. Juice shop with bad service staff!

We are always happy to come back, the service is top. The portions are large and super tasty. My highlight is the Borsalino pan :-) The cocktails are really tasty. There are no children's cocktails on the menu, but if you ask, you can get a delicious, fruity cocktail for children. Every wish of the guest is taken into account 100 percent. Our children would like to give 100 stars for the pizza margarita and children's cocktails.

The Borsalino is a real gem! From the first moment you feel welcome here - the atmosphere is stylish and cozy, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. The menu offers a great selection of Italian classics, prepared with love and fresh ingredients. The pasta and pizzas in particular are an absolute highlight! The quality of the food is consistently excellent and the portions are more than fair. There is also a nice selection of wines that go perfectly with the dishes. If you're in the area, you shouldn't miss a visit to Borsalino - a real insider tip for lovers of Italian cuisine! I'll definitely come back.

My favorite Italian restaurant in Cologne – best pizza in town! There are many Italians in Cologne, but none come close to my favorite Italian. Every time I'm here it feels like a little piece of Italy in the middle of the city. Above all, the pizza is unbeatable! The dough is perfect – crispy on the outside, airy on the inside – and the ingredients are always fresh and high quality. You can simply taste that there is real passion in the kitchen here. I've tried a lot of pizzas in Cologne, but none come close to this one! But it's not just the food that makes this place so special to me. I have many personal memories with this restaurant - conversations, special moments and just the feeling of being welcome. If you are in Cologne and are looking for a really authentic pizza, then there is only one address for me. My absolute favorite!

Apart from the good location, which can be reached by various lines and is in a student area, the restaurant offers all kinds of dishes. From fresh tomato soup to homemade pasta to a good burger, you can find plenty of delicious dishes on the menu. The cocktails also taste great and there is generally a very good selection of wine, long drinks, sours, etc. The staff is very friendly and responds to requests. You feel welcome and comfortable. In addition, football games are shown very well on a large screen. I have been there more than once and will visit the Borsalino restaurant more often in the future.

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately neither the food nor the service was good. The restaurant is dingy, tables with leftover food and dirty seating. The dishes also had stains. After the appetizer was eaten, it was mentioned that there was no burrata and that we should choose something else. Then we chose Italian-style carbonara - but pasta with cream sauce and lots of salt. The freshness could not be found in the lasagne either. The service is unhygienic and not attentive, and one person for the entire restaurant is definitely not enough. Price-performance ratio is definitely very bad.
