We were there for dinner with a large group. The pizza was delicious and as big as ever. The best part was Sebastian's service – very attentive, friendly, and funny :) We had a great time!

Super friendly service and, as always, delicious food. The perfect restaurant to refuel after shopping.

If the waiters were more attentive, business would certainly be better, and guests would be happier. It's okay that food preparation takes a bit of time on this scale, but drinks are available more quickly.

I've been to L'Osteria on Hahnenstraße several times and I'm always delighted. The staff is friendly and attentive, the food arrives quickly and is always freshly prepared. The enormous pizzas are a particular highlight – crispy, deliciously topped, and perfect for sharing. The pasta is also excellent! The atmosphere is relaxed and lively, ideal for an evening with friends or family. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

Unthinkable, abysmal wait times! We waited a full 1.5 hours for a single pizza that DIDN'T ARRIVE! No apology, no compensation. The manager, who seemed very confident in his performance, was too good to deduct at least two small waters or the meager bruschetta from the bill as a gesture of goodwill.

L'Osteria, we always enjoy being your guests, not just in Cologne, but we felt very comfortable here too. The food, service, ambiance, everything was top-notch! (The only shame, and none of you can personally blame this, is that the points and ADAC discount aren't working. Hopefully, you'll get that sorted soon.) We'll definitely be back!

The one star because I had to practice patience here. I waited 100 minutes for a single pizza, which ultimately never arrived. So I can't comment on the taste. But I did have to pay full price for the 250ml of water and the two bruschettas. A unique experience that I wouldn't want to repeat.

Absolutely not recommended. It's unacceptable to wait more than an hour for a pizza. Despite warning us that we were still waiting, we were constantly put off. And then the team leader was so unfriendly, not even offering compensation or an apology. Never again!!!!!!!

Would not recommend this branch, we waited an hour for our food and no one even apologised. They said it’s just too busy… and mixed orders from tables.

The reception was okay. That was all the positives. We waited 90 minutes for our food. While we were waiting, the restaurant smelled so burnt that I got a huge headache. No windows or anything like that were open. The music was way too loud. We had to shout at each other to be heard. The pizza arrived lukewarm and one person didn't get their food until we were all almost finished!! The waitress apologetically said it was too busy. But that's not our problem; the manager needs to hire more staff for such a huge space. The customer is king and not a challenge that needs to be overcome.

Quick and very friendly service. I had an authentic Pesto Genovese. The atmosphere is simple and slightly rustic with an open Pizza kitchen. Will come again.

At L'Osteria, we had a typically good meal and a delicious Lambrusco. We would go back.

Very tasty pizza, friendly service, and we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. Depending on the day of the week and the time of day, a reservation might be a good idea. It makes sense – you can do it quickly online.

We made a reservation for 20 people and were seated at two different tables. This made the atmosphere that evening much more tense, and everyone was unhappy. Even when we asked if we could sit together, we were told that such a thing wasn't possible in Germany. The food was okay.

If you want to be ignored even though there was almost nothing going on, then you can go there.

There were only three tables occupied, and we still waited an hour for our food...

The pizzas are really large, but unfortunately, they don't taste like anything, which is probably due to the poor quality ingredients, or the 5 fermented strips of extra onions for €1.50. Unfortunately, due to the lack of service, there were no refills on drinks, so you couldn't enjoy the 40-minute wait for the bill. We didn't take any photos; it wasn't worth it.

The food was delicious, fast, and varied. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant is in a good location. The service was very friendly (Sebastian)! If I were to return to Cologne, I would return to this restaurant.

I ordered a BBQ pizza. The first half was okay, but the second half was a complete disaster—way too spicy and absolutely inedible. I had to throw half the pizza away. I mentioned it when paying, but all I was told was, "You're the second person to say that." No apology, no compensation—nothing. And as if that weren't enough, I was then asked if I wanted to tip. It's a disgrace to have to pay the full price for half an inedible pizza.

A very large L'Osteria with the usual pizza quality. I don't think the downtown location is as cool as some a little further out.

Top! The appetizers were excellent, but when the pizzas arrived, we were all surprised at how big and good they were. So, to sum it up: It couldn't be better.

Hey, Sebastian was simply the king of the pizza game – he served us like a boss on a speedrun. Without him, everything would have been completely lost. I've been to Düsseldorf several times, but the service I received here surpasses the Düsseldorf branches in every respect. A great waitress who is very polite and friendly and even welcomes guests. Unfortunately, she was already off duty when we wanted to pay. The food was good and plentiful, as you'd expect from L'Osteria. The restrooms could perhaps use some repairs (the faucet was loose). But my skepticism was unfounded.

I'm updating my previous, very poor, one-star review. After waiting for 20 minutes and still not being served once, I returned to the Osteria twice. This time, everything was perfect, hence the very good rating this time: Service, food, and atmosphere: everything was great! The pizzas are huge and taste amazing. I'd be happy to go back anytime.

Unfortunately, you're not allowed to sit at a table with 10 people outside. We had three tables together. Supposedly for "fire safety" 😅🤷🏼‍♂️ Please note, outside! As a team, we obviously don't want to eat lunch separately. Unfortunately, that's out for us for the future! The pizza was delicious, as you'd expect from other L'Osterias as chain restaurants!
