L'Osteria in Köln

The pasta was cooked through like mashed potatoes. I then ordered penne with cream sauce. Unfortunately these were also inedible. Never again!!! Paid a total of 60 euros and treated penetratively.

Lasagna very soggy, sauce tastes like ready-made food, but otherwise staff very friendly, cozy atmosphere, drinks are good, maybe I should have eaten pizza, lasagna wasn't good

The shop is very nice and quiet. The service was so-so. The Hawaiian pizza had cheddar cheese on it and what felt like 10 pieces of pineapple. You had to pack your own food.

I love this place's pizza. This is the first restaurant I check out in every city I visit. But to tell you a general problem, the employees, I mean the waiters, are a bit lazy, they try to avoid being seen by you as much as they can, they have a very bad service approach, you have to wait a long time to say something. As I said, it is a great place in terms of taste as well as service, I recommend it to everyone.

Four people were there for lunch, which was advertised in the shop window as having special lunch conditions. When we wanted to pay at 3:01 p.m., these conditions were no longer possible because we apparently didn't point them out at the beginning. Very disgraceful!!!

Got cold pizza then after complaining the pizza was taken back and served almost cold again

I can say that it is the best pizza I have ever eaten, it really tastes delicious, the service is very high quality, I highly recommend the caesar pizza.

Although L'Osteria on Ebertplatz is part of a franchise, I find it very cozy there and the service is really very good and very friendly, great!

Disappointing experience at L'Osteria Ebertplatz Today we visited the L'Osteria branch on Ebertplatz as a family to eat pizza. I ordered the seafood marinara pizza with cheese, garlic and parsley this time instead of the pizza I usually eat. By “seafood,” I was expecting the pizza to contain at least a few different types of seafood. Unfortunately there were only a few mussels to be found on the pizza. I asked for hot sauce during the meal. We were brought a bottle of oil but the oil was not spicy at all. I understand that some guests don't like very spicy sauces, but this one really had no heat at all. There was only a minimal amount of chili flakes visible at the bottom of the bottle. That was very disappointing. However, the biggest problem was that the pizza wasn't served as described in the menu. There was no other seafood on the pizza other than the mussels, and parsley was completely missing. Since I was very hungry and didn't want to wait another 30 minutes, I ate the pizza anyway, even though I was dissatisfied. After the meal, I asked the waiter what “seafood” meant in their restaurant. He listed some seafood and I explained to him that my pizza only had mussels, even though the menu said “seafood.” The waiter said he would pass it on to the person in charge. Shortly afterwards, a person in charge came to us and asked if I was dissatisfied with the seafood. I explained to him that I expected a “seafood” pizza to be made from different types of seafood. His answer was: “This is L'Osteria and this is our seafood.” I then said that they should then write “pizza with mussels” in the menu so as not to deceive the guests. The person in charge made no further comments. Additionally, the price of this pizza was higher than the Gambaretti pizza I usually eat there, even though this pizza contained fewer and cheaper ingredients. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience and I do not plan to visit this restaurant again in the future.

Had a very good pizza at a very late hour, when every other place was closed.

Bombastic, starter bruschetta and pizza pane. Main course then pizza, Quattro Formmaggi, Canario and black tagliatelle from the daily menu. Pizzas felt like 1 meter in diameter, thin and crispy. Really good. Wine and Kölsch with it. Coffee afterwards. A first-class experience, again and again.

Eat well---as usual, performance and service underground!!! you don't need to read...it doesn't change anything anyway :-) As a "FAN of the chain" I usually only go to the chocolate museum location or in Cologne Mülheim...the staff level there is also high!!!.....because to my surprise there was one there on Sunday 24.11 lady present who made us feel that she didn't feel like it...... to the point....we stood in the entrance area for almost 10 minutes, no one was there, then the lady in question came, when my wife pointed out that we had waited that long, the answer came...no it was only "5 minutes".... been Afterwards we were led to a table, behind the runs people came in with the same background, how should you say that now?...they were given a table straight away and their order was taken immediately???? We only got a card after 5 to 7... then we had to wait for the drinks... after 15 minutes the order was placed... after the people in question with the same migro backround also got the food first... came First doubts arise... it must actually have been our fault... after a total of 3 questions and 35 minutes our food arrived... the lady was completely playing for time and clearly let her bad mood out on us... underground! !!

Osteria, centrally located in Cologne. Despite the carnival, a seat was available and the service was quick and very attentive.

The service was good and quick, the food, there were 8 of us, came at the same time. The food was delicious for all of us.

So far everything is fine. Unfortunately, on the day of my visit it was a bit uncoordinated. Service wasn't as good as usual. The small minus point when billing was that the service had already clicked on a 20% tip on the card reader without asking me.

When we were asked about the long waiting time for service, we were treated in a very unpleasant manner. Very unfriendly directed to our seat, where we had been waiting for more than 20 minutes for a transfer. It's bizarre that people react offended instead of asking how things can be improved. Very special experience. We don't come here anymore.

My sister and I had dinner there this evening and probably won't come back. We were first brought the wrong food (it's not a problem, mistakes happen) we waited a relatively long time before we could order something take away and the bill wanted after 10 minutes then the take away came and after another 10 approx we could then pay. The waiter then looked pretty closely at what we wanted to tip, which was strange. When we paid he asked with a pretty dumbfounded face: no tip? Why? When we explained why (we just waited a long time for everything, we didn't get to the other part) he said rather snippily, but you already know that I'm alone?! No, we don't know that, we saw that there were two young women there who also seemed to be serving (or so we thought). Tipping is a nicety for good service but not an obligation. You don't want to feel like you're being forced to give something. Yes, there was a lot going on in the restaurant, but that doesn't mean we think it's okay to wait a long time - after all, our time is worth something. I know there's always a lot going on there in the evenings, so why can't you schedule more staff? Why do people have to wait a long time? Why do you feel like you have to pay a tip?

Pseudo Italian restaurant chain. South American music (Latin) Surprising mozzarella. Size of XXL pizzas but served on normal plates. Garlic pasta is chili pasta. No garlic. Not much Italian.

Service was great Atmosphere cool, not too loud to talk but not to quiet. Well located at Ebertplatz Pizzadough was unfortunately quite flavourless and tough. "Schinken"Meat was not good... But the Mushroomtopping and spinach is great!

We were there with 8 people on Sunday late afternoon. The staff was extremely friendly and in a good mood. When ordering, alternatives were pointed out and recommendations were made. The food was excellent, the pizzas were huge and delicious. For the more nutritionally conscious, there was even zucchini noodles with chicken. Highly recommended!

This place has become a real favorite restaurant for me. Every time I'm there, I immediately feel at home - not just because of the great ambience, but above all because of the warm staff. You are always welcomed with a smile and the staff are incredibly attentive without being intrusive. They manage to make you feel really welcome. The kitchen is simply great. The pizzas are huge and have the perfect crispy base, just the way I like it. And the pasta always tastes fresh and homemade. It's clear that the cooking here takes place with a lot of passion. The dessert tastes excellent!

Although you don't know the difference between a salsiccia and a pepperoni salami, the pizza itself is solid. However, if an owner of an Italian restaurant completely lacks interest in Italian ingredients, I personally lose interest in the store.

Tourist trap? Neither my friend or me think the food was “good” enough for the price we paid each. We somehow also felt like we were “forced” to tip the restaurant. As we didn’t know about the tipping culture in germany, we simply choose to tip to be polite. However, other places we've ate didn’t ask nor mention that the tipping wasn't included in the food, and their terminals also didn't have the option to tip. So the visit really made us confused about the tipping culture, and we left a little let down after paying 2x the price of what we've payed for dinner the previous days.

Had a spontaneous lunch there today. The pasta was perfect, the pizza was wafer-thin without being dry. The service was super friendly and on the ball. We'd love to come back.

I can more than recommend L'Osteria in Cologne on Ebertplatz. (About 10 minutes walk from the cathedral) Such a nice place. The pizzas are huge and the staff is absolutely and in all respects more than friendly. Top service

Dirty cutlery, dirty glasses, bread dried out and sauce tastes moldy

I generally like food, but only if the necessary attention is paid to the preparation of the food. Unfortunately, that didn't work today (08/01/24) for a pick-up pizza (unfortunately not for the first time either). I really like the edge, unfortunately one half of the edge was charred. I don't think it's okay to give out a pizza like that. I wouldn't have accepted that in a restaurant.

After the pizza, my husband and I got stomach ulcers and ended up in the hospital. Still questions?

We were here with a large group of 40 people and had ordered our food in advance. Everything was very organized and we hardly had to wait for our orders. The food was delicious and our waiter was really friendly.

Generally cool restaurant, unfortunately the last price increase has gotten completely out of hand, a Pizza Rustica now costs €16, compared to €11 two years ago, that cannot be justified by rising costs. It's also annoying that when I order online, I regularly have to wait 15 minutes to pick it up on site, despite ordering an appointment.

Not worth a visit. Pasta was mushy and soft; Ruccola wilted on top. Salad for starter came 15 minutes after the main course. Accompaniment received pizza and appetizer together. Pizzas are way too big. Most of the time half goes back into the kitchen/waste. Less would definitely be more. Also, the music is way too loud. Only the service was very friendly.

There is space for 16 people here. At first I wasn't happy with the place (a bit old-fashioned), but then I felt comfortable. Has something. Service staff was excellent. We felt we were in good hands. The food was also very good.

It's a shame...was there with family, ate badly and unfortunately left disappointed. Pizza was good. Bruschetta was limp and soft. Only half of the lasagna was edible, the rest was so baked that you couldn't even get through it with a knife. Maccheroncini al Gorgonzola...unfortunately only made with cream, Gorgonzola was not tasty...left standing. The waiter explained to us that the lasagna is not made in-house and that's why something like this can happen??? When asked if he would like to try it, he said he wouldn't eat anything like that here. Men's toilet disgusting, water on the floor in all rooms, the shop has lost its charm...it's a shame

The panna cotta is very fresh and very tasty. I recommend them for lovers of this dessert.

I made an observation outside today that makes me angry and sad. We sat at a table outside. Two young men with a migration background sat down near us. When the waiter came out with the cards after about 30 minutes, he told the two men to sit at a round table. The square ones would only be for 4 people. After one of them pointed out to the waiter that there were four chairs at the round tables and what a difference that made, the waiter then said in an aggressive and denouncing tone: Then go to McDonalds. The two then silently got up and left. It's really a shame to see something like that happen. My colleagues and I will avoid L'Osteria in the future. The waiter with glasses, black hair and a beard behaved disrespectfully and, in my opinion, racistly towards the men.

My business partner and I wanted to try this l'osteria. We can only attest to the negative comments from various customers that “xenophobia” is prevalent here. The waiter with glasses, black hair and a black beard only saw us after 30 minutes! asked if there were two of us. We said yes. Then he said that the small, square table was for 4 people and said we should move around. Now the other tables were round, just as small and also with 4 chairs. The other customers, who sat in pairs like us, were not "relocated". After asking why we and not the others, the unfriendly waiter replied "that we should take you to McDonald's". The other guests - mind you, only Germans - shook their heads. Fazi: Pure xenophobia!

We visited the restaurant 2 days in a row and were thrilled with the food and service. If we come to Cologne again, this restaurant will be the first address.

I have to say first time and the last time we start with the salad INSALATA MANZO Beef fillet strips were counted 3 pieces the mango was a joke 2 mini cubes and the rest was green to me I say in the value of the goods none 2 euros and I think we paid 18€ no tomatoes no corn no cucumbers........ it looked like it was dead if you charge these outrageous prices you should also offer something like that it doesn't have a name anymore you can see it on it Photo the salad has no color and we would have to season or dress it and on the subject of inflation there is none, you make up the prices according to your mood On the subject of giant pizza, large, far too much topping, inedible. In short: the large pizza is good. A very tasty, thin dough is clearly topped (Vegetariana). The lasagne is not! At a price of over 14 euros you should get a better quality. There are probably better frozen goods out there. CONCLUSION: It's better to just eat pizza!

We went there in the early evening and waited almost an hour to get my pasta. The taste was flat and seemed like they forgot the salt. Later, when we were about to pay, the waitress asked if everything was fine. I told her that unfortunately, something seemed to be missing in my sauce and taste was flat. She didn't react and just asked if we wanted to pay with card or cash. We will never go there again. 👎👎

Unfortunately my visit to Losteria was disappointing. The staff wasn't particularly friendly and the service left a lot to be desired. The salad I ordered didn't seem very appetizing and didn't taste really fresh. When I requested a refund it was not accepted. Shame about the money and the experience

I ordered a pizza with ham, unfortunately I got a pizza that was very, very spicy and I can't eat it (RDS). Mistakes happen, I fully support them, no problem. I found it embarrassing that the "boss" and the waitress stood next to me and claimed that I had eaten half of the pizza and that she would have to charge for it now, given that the goods had a maximum value of 2.50 euros. If at all I ate a maximum of 30 percent of the pizza, and then trying to console myself with an espresso after the six of us had waited almost an hour for our food was unfortunately not possible. Stay honest and fair and own up to your mistakes, then I don't have to write negative reviews. For me it's definitely not about the few euros the pizza cost...

This store is really miserable. When it opened it was really great but now thank you. Waited 20 minutes for someone to serve us after the seat was assigned, but no one came, the waiters even walked past us. It's really a shame that only low-level people come to this store.
