Service was great Atmosphere cool, not too loud to talk but not to quiet. Well located at Ebertplatz Pizzadough was unfortunately quite flavourless and tough. "Schinken"Meat was not good... But the Mushroomtopping and spinach is great!

We were there with 8 people on Sunday late afternoon. The staff was extremely friendly and in a good mood. When ordering, alternatives were pointed out and recommendations were made. The food was excellent, the pizzas were huge and delicious. For the more nutritionally conscious, there was even zucchini noodles with chicken. Highly recommended!

This place has become a real favorite restaurant for me. Every time I'm there, I immediately feel at home - not just because of the great ambience, but above all because of the warm staff. You are always welcomed with a smile and the staff are incredibly attentive without being intrusive. They manage to make you feel really welcome. The kitchen is simply great. The pizzas are huge and have the perfect crispy base, just the way I like it. And the pasta always tastes fresh and homemade. It's clear that the cooking here takes place with a lot of passion. The dessert tastes excellent!

Although you don't know the difference between a salsiccia and a pepperoni salami, the pizza itself is solid. However, if an owner of an Italian restaurant completely lacks interest in Italian ingredients, I personally lose interest in the store.

Tourist trap? Neither my friend or me think the food was “good” enough for the price we paid each. We somehow also felt like we were “forced” to tip the restaurant. As we didn’t know about the tipping culture in germany, we simply choose to tip to be polite. However, other places we've ate didn’t ask nor mention that the tipping wasn't included in the food, and their terminals also didn't have the option to tip. So the visit really made us confused about the tipping culture, and we left a little let down after paying 2x the price of what we've payed for dinner the previous days.

Had a spontaneous lunch there today. The pasta was perfect, the pizza was wafer-thin without being dry. The service was super friendly and on the ball. We'd love to come back.

I can more than recommend L'Osteria in Cologne on Ebertplatz. (About 10 minutes walk from the cathedral) Such a nice place. The pizzas are huge and the staff is absolutely and in all respects more than friendly. Top service

Dirty cutlery, dirty glasses, bread dried out and sauce tastes moldy

I generally like food, but only if the necessary attention is paid to the preparation of the food. Unfortunately, that didn't work today (08/01/24) for a pick-up pizza (unfortunately not for the first time either). I really like the edge, unfortunately one half of the edge was charred. I don't think it's okay to give out a pizza like that. I wouldn't have accepted that in a restaurant.

After the pizza, my husband and I got stomach ulcers and ended up in the hospital. Still questions?

We were there with a group of almost 40 people and everything went great and was very tasty.

We were here with a large group of 40 people and had ordered our food in advance. Everything was very organized and we hardly had to wait for our orders. The food was delicious and our waiter was really friendly.

Generally cool restaurant, unfortunately the last price increase has gotten completely out of hand, a Pizza Rustica now costs €16, compared to €11 two years ago, that cannot be justified by rising costs. It's also annoying that when I order online, I regularly have to wait 15 minutes to pick it up on site, despite ordering an appointment.

Not worth a visit. Pasta was mushy and soft; Ruccola wilted on top. Salad for starter came 15 minutes after the main course. Accompaniment received pizza and appetizer together. Pizzas are way too big. Most of the time half goes back into the kitchen/waste. Less would definitely be more. Also, the music is way too loud. Only the service was very friendly.

There is space for 16 people here. At first I wasn't happy with the place (a bit old-fashioned), but then I felt comfortable. Has something. Service staff was excellent. We felt we were in good hands. The food was also very good.

Good restaurant, quite a choice for dishes, less for desserts. Read the menu carefully, because the pizzas are large, 45cm, but very good.

It's a shame...was there with family, ate badly and unfortunately left disappointed. Pizza was good. Bruschetta was limp and soft. Only half of the lasagna was edible, the rest was so baked that you couldn't even get through it with a knife. Maccheroncini al Gorgonzola...unfortunately only made with cream, Gorgonzola was not tasty...left standing. The waiter explained to us that the lasagna is not made in-house and that's why something like this can happen??? When asked if he would like to try it, he said he wouldn't eat anything like that here. Men's toilet disgusting, water on the floor in all rooms, the shop has lost its charm...it's a shame

My business partner and I wanted to try this l'osteria. We can only attest to the negative comments from various customers that “xenophobia” is prevalent here. The waiter with glasses, black hair and a black beard only saw us after 30 minutes! asked if there were two of us. We said yes. Then he said that the small, square table was for 4 people and said we should move around. Now the other tables were round, just as small and also with 4 chairs. The other customers, who sat in pairs like us, were not "relocated". After asking why we and not the others, the unfriendly waiter replied "that we should take you to McDonald's". The other guests - mind you, only Germans - shook their heads. Fazi: Pure xenophobia!

I have to say first time and the last time we start with the salad INSALATA MANZO Beef fillet strips were counted 3 pieces the mango was a joke 2 mini cubes and the rest was green to me I say in the value of the goods none 2 euros and I think we paid 18€ no tomatoes no corn no cucumbers........ it looked like it was dead if you charge these outrageous prices you should also offer something like that it doesn't have a name anymore you can see it on it Photo the salad has no color and we would have to season or dress it and on the subject of inflation there is none, you make up the prices according to your mood On the subject of giant pizza, large, far too much topping, inedible. I made an observation outside today that makes me angry and sad. We sat at a table outside. Two young men with a migration background sat down near us. When the waiter came out with the cards after about 30 minutes, he told the two men to sit at a round table. The square ones would only be for 4 people. After one of them pointed out to the waiter that there were four chairs at the round tables and what a difference that made, the waiter then said in an aggressive and denouncing tone: Then go to McDonalds. The two then silently got up and left. It's really a shame to see something like that happen. My colleagues and I will avoid L'Osteria in the future. The waiter with glasses, black hair and a beard behaved disrespectfully and, in my opinion, racistly towards the men.

We visited the restaurant 2 days in a row and were thrilled with the food and service. If we come to Cologne again, this restaurant will be the first address.

In short: the large pizza is good. A very tasty, thin dough is clearly topped (Vegetariana). The lasagne is not! At a price of over 14 euros you should get a better quality. There are probably better frozen goods out there. CONCLUSION: It's better to just eat pizza!

We went there in the early evening and waited almost an hour to get my pasta. The taste was flat and seemed like they forgot the salt. Later, when we were about to pay, the waitress asked if everything was fine. I told her that unfortunately, something seemed to be missing in my sauce and taste was flat. She didn't react and just asked if we wanted to pay with card or cash. We will never go there again. 👎👎

Unfortunately my visit to Losteria was disappointing. The staff wasn't particularly friendly and the service left a lot to be desired. The salad I ordered didn't seem very appetizing and didn't taste really fresh. When I requested a refund it was not accepted. Shame about the money and the experience

I ordered a pizza with ham, unfortunately I got a pizza that was very, very spicy and I can't eat it (RDS). Mistakes happen, I fully support them, no problem. I found it embarrassing that the "boss" and the waitress stood next to me and claimed that I had eaten half of the pizza and that she would have to charge for it now, given that the goods had a maximum value of 2.50 euros. If at all I ate a maximum of 30 percent of the pizza, and then trying to console myself with an espresso after the six of us had waited almost an hour for our food was unfortunately not possible. Stay honest and fair and own up to your mistakes, then I don't have to write negative reviews. For me it's definitely not about the few euros the pizza cost...

This store is really miserable. When it opened it was really great but now thank you. Waited 20 minutes for someone to serve us after the seat was assigned, but no one came, the waiters even walked past us. It's really a shame that only low-level people come to this store.

According to the waiter, it can take up to two hours to receive your food. All the other tables that came into the restaurant after us received their food sooner. Definitely not recommended for lunch during the break.

I can't recommend it. Makes us wait outside even though there are tables inside. When we went in we were sent out again, even though we had 2 small children with us and we had already met 3 different waiters. Haven't experienced anything like this yet. Very unfriendly, bad-tempered staff. In addition, we and 3 other tables had to wait about 70 minutes for the food. Never this location again.

Incredibly unfriendly and unprofessional staff. First you are left to stand at the entrance door and wait. If you look for a seat after asking, you will be evicted from the restaurant when it is not full because the seat is supposedly intended for three people and not two. Ridiculous. Food okay, but also overpriced. And when you want to pay, you will forget again.

Went to this restaurant spontaneously and got a table. Service and cuisine get 5 stars. Really friendly staff. Extra wishes were also respected. The food came quickly. Easter Monday evening the restaurant was of course full, which caused longer waiting times. But what happened to us was underground, we waited 45 minutes for a starter of bruscetta and only when we were finished did the waiter obviously order pizza and pasta for us, which then took another 45 minutes. Yes, they said it would be full, but there were definitely people who came later who had been provided with food beforehand and a group of eight people who had ordered at the same time as us had already left, including eating and paying, when we finally got our pizza. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. I had spaghetti carbonara, which had almost no sauce on it and was therefore incredibly dry, but had a lot of bacon.

Courteous and relaxed service and delicious food at an acceptable price in a down-to-earth atmosphere. No more is needed. Gladly again.

Dear Losteria team, I recently had the pleasure of visiting Losteria and I can enthusiastically say that it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The manager, whose friendliness and warmth were truly remarkable, made me feel at home straight away. The ambience of the restaurant is charming and cozy, which is perfect for a relaxed dinner. The wait staff was attentive and courteous and I felt genuinely cared for. Now to the most important part - the food. The menu offers a wide range of traditional Italian dishes and I chose the Margherita pizza and a selection of antipasti. The pizza was baked to perfection, with fresh ingredients and a delicious, crispy crust. The antipasti were also excellent, offering a variety of flavors and textures. All in all, my visit to Losteria was an absolute pleasure. The warm atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food make this restaurant a place I can definitely recommend.

Since we were now tired and worn out by frankfurters and chips, we went to a place where the familiar name echoed on the door, "the tavern", confident of finding refreshment and feasting on Italian smells... but it was with great tragedy that we found strange pasta and pizza adorned with strips of chicken, so that we shouted in unison: "German cook, give back what doesn't suit you". Paraphrase: German pizzas and very original dishes that you would never find in Italy. The three stars are for the beer.

Me and my brother friend from middle East of Europe trying to eat here for lunch. We have been sitting there for 10 minutes, one of the staff came and talk to us that we can not sit here so we should go outside wait or go somewhere which the tables are available and not reserved. Then I went to ask another staff behind the bar and he told me that I can sit anywhere I want. So for that time waits and get this line ether for service, I could understand for that “service for another skins” . 1 star is enough. I am a big fan of Italian food, but things I have been through here, it is depressing.

Outstanding pizza, quality is not on the same level in some branches, but today was already world class. I would particularly like to highlight the service of the waiter Tiziano (I was so impressed that I proactively asked for the name to write a review, which I never do). He was excellent in his advice without being intrusive, extremely attentive and consistently and proactively ensured the quality standard. You could see how he managed his entire area in the same way and thus had it under control. He should become a service trainer so that his service standards become the L'Osteria standard. Thanks for the experience!

The tables are a bit tight. Unfortunately, they only serve mozzarella made from cow's milk. Apparently there are dishes with buffalo mozzarella, but I didn't find it on the menu. He was probably blind or his glasses weren't clean. Unfortunately, you can't get real buffalo mozzarella on your pizza instead of mozzarella for an additional charge. It was ok, at L'Osteria you just know what to expect.

Food was very good. Service took a while for the drinks, but was very nice and it was quite loud.

The pizzas were very large but also very good, the pizza base was really thin, perfect. What's really good is that you can combine two different pizzas.

Nice atmosphere and L'Osteria like good food. The only downside is that you can evaporate at the table. Everyone is nice and the first order is taken quickly and the food comes quickly too, after that "the construction site gets dry". There is still room for more.

No matter where, there is always good food at L'Osteria. The pizza in Cologne's Ebertplatz was again huge, but it also tasted really good. I was there with Italian friends and they had the same opinion. They have to know ;-) The ambience is nice as is the service! All in all, a restaurant to come back to.
