Horst and Inger took us to this Restaurant as they go hear regular we had a great lunch and we chipped in the bill and the meal was fantastic Horst and Inger looked at the menu and chose our meals and Inger chose well the staff were great the service was good

Very good food. Creative, fresh and tasty. Can be described as more upscale without hesitation. And at very fair prices. And the service is excellent. You can eat much worse in Cologne in much more popular places for much more money.

Leider konnte man wegen des Wetters nicht draußen sitzen. Eine kleine Auswahl von Speisen, ein älteres Ehepaar hatte damit seine Schwierigkeiten. Qualität in Ordnung, Preise über das Mittelmaß hinaus. Service schien ein wenig überfordert.

Der pizza Bäcker (indian style) macht mit viel zu viel sauce und Käse. Voll Fett !

My partner and I went to the restaurant on my birthday, July 23, after we made a reservation through their website a few days earlier. As soon as we enter the establishment,the woman at the reception stares us all (being nevertheless very well dressed, and being accustomed to star establishments) ,she approaches us, not a "good evening" "just a yes...? Pedant as it is not allowed. We specify that we have a reservation. Answer from her? Laughing and taking us high "no" .My companion and I remain confused. "No, you have no reservation" she said, your name does not appear. We show her the confirmation of the reservation. I specify a detail, which has all its importance: the restaurant is almost empty! Maybe 15% of the tables are occupied. Instead of just saying, "we certainly had a problem when booking, but we’ll get you settled right away." If we hadn’t insisted, she would literally leave us at the restaurant door! Fortunately, his colleague who served us was much more pleasant, although it took almost 15 minutes ( for an empty restaurant) to bring us the menus... I rarely leave reviews, but we felt so unwelcome that I couldn’t let it go.

I have never commented on going to a restaurant. However, even now, after a night of "sleeping on it", I am still in awe of the "unforgettable evening" at La Bussola. It was supposed to be a nice meal with my partner. We experienced total chaos in the service (5x "ehhh did you order that..?"), one meal was finally one that WE ordered ". I then asked for the name of the manager and asked for the bill. After 15 minutes the “managing director” came in, completely unmotivated, completely overwhelmed and seemed like a little boy. No real apology..nothing..nothing at all. After another 10 minutes, I was finally allowed to pay the full bill (they didn't charge for the food I didn't eat 🙏). A really great evening. Many thanks to the team la bussola.. without words.. Or at least
