Wonderful location by the water. Cozy vaulted restaurant with individual glass houses/winter gardens (heated) directly on the wooden planks. Warm, unobtrusive but attentive service (we were able to move outside as soon as it became available).
Food was fantastic for us: salmon with avocado cream and vitello tonnato as a starter, seasoned with herbs, both very tasty. Main course spaghetti vongole and gnocci with porcini mushroom filling, both on point.
We simply enjoyed it and really enjoyed it!!! Planned for the next visit to Hamburg.
I've been there several times now and will keep coming back. The food is delicious, and the selection offers a change from the usual dishes. Especially when it's warm, the location right on the water is particularly beautiful.
The Nomad is a real fine-dining restaurant - and that is also reflected in the price. It definitely belongs to the upscale category, both in terms of cuisine and price. The ambience is very stylish and classy, perfect for special occasions.
We were here for Valentine's Day and the food was impressive: the sushi and beef in particular were excellent. The sushi is definitely in my top 3! For a special occasion, the Nomad is a great choice.
However, it's outside my normal budget - not for everyday use, but definitely recommended for special moments!
Half of the dishes were apparently sold out. We had to wait over 1 hour for our pizza. It was tasty, but there wasn't even any sugar in the coffee. Absolutely chaotic juice shop! The only plus point - the very nice and embarrassed waiter.
First of all, the Bresaola pizza was really excellent, we would come back for that alone.
What really surprised us was the disappointing buffalo mozzarelle bruschetta. It was ONE small slice of bread with two even smaller slices of mozzarella and some tomato and dry arugula. Without spices or anything else. Why are you offering something like this for €7?
The red wine is served in white wine glasses, which is a bit of a shame for the good wine. The Shiraz was very tasty.
The staff tried very hard, but sometimes seemed a bit stressed. There was generally a lot of hustle and bustle in the store. We were there on Saturday evening.
The audience is very young, early to mid-20s. It has a bit of a sense of seeing and being seen, fair enough if you like it. It’s also a “social club”. Being in our mid-30s, we were among the older guests.
The tables are lined up very close together, so you have to be careful not to tip anything over when you get up. I think the aim is to “socialise” yourself.
The music system and the playlist are excellent, we really liked it.
All in all, the store has its place, especially for people under 30.
The food at the Brooklyn BBQ Bar was really above average. The service was extremely prompt, polite and customer-oriented, which made the overall experience positive. Nevertheless, my visit was overall pleasant and the food pleased my taste buds.
I had a takeaway dish from the traditional menu, and I have to say, it blew my socks off! I'll definitely try the traditional menu again; I highly recommend this place!
We were there some time ago. But we didn't forget the restaurant.
We remember it very positively and want to visit it again. The food is of very good quality and the waitresses are very friendly. My girlfriend and I felt comfortable😃Thanks for that
Don't get confused! This place is not anymore what it used to be. The iconic kebab house is gone, including its staff and grill. What you find now is a very pricy (in my opinion) restaurant where you get kebab burgers! Yes, that's correct, burgers that costs 15€. Everything is okay but not more than that and overpriced, I think. Sorry, I cannot recommend this place really. You can go there but you don't have to.
