Wonderful Iranian restaurant! Their Gormeh Sabzi and Qabuli Pulao were just heavenly!! The service was fast and efficient, the waiting staff is accommodating and very polite. Can speak German and English so ordering was hassle free. Menu is very traditional and interesting. The restaurant was crowded but we had a reservation so we didn’t face any issues. Bright cheerful ambience- great if you’re with friends for dinner. Lots of laughter and good food. Totally Recommend 👍🏻

Qasr Restaurant is currently one of the best Iranian-Afghan restaurants in Hamburg. The kebabs and kebabs in this restaurant have a good and acceptable taste, but sometimes, probably due to the absence of the main chef, the kebabs or chicken are a little dry, but 90% of the time we were satisfied with the food and we will go again.

We stayed at a nearby inn and were looking for restaurant inspiration in the area. We initially wanted to reserve a table, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible on such short notice. So we opted for takeout – the names of the dishes didn't mean much to us, but the pictures on the website were very helpful. We chose two salads and two main courses. My wife ordered chicken drumsticks, and I wanted meat skewers. The food was ready for pickup after 30 minutes, and we were very impressed. The portions were truly generous; the salads were huge, and the main course came with a whole bowl of rice. The food was more than worth the price. If we lived in Hamburg, I would definitely go there more often.

I was there today and was absolutely delighted. It's a lovely restaurant with very friendly staff. I ordered the chicken skewer, and one of the pieces of meat seemed a little undercooked at the corner, as there was a red spot. I didn't say anything and just grabbed it from the edge of my plate, since it wasn't a big deal. But when the staff member cleared the table, he noticed it and said the meal was on the house. Really kind, something you don't see very often these days. The value for money is excellent. I would definitely eat there again.

This was my first order, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The meat skewer was badly burnt and therefore inedible. Since I ordered the food for takeout, I unfortunately didn't notice until I got home. I don't understand how anyone could even offer something like that. It's a real shame, because I was really looking forward to it.

The food is tasty. But either the chicken comes raw or they tell you they want it cooked well, and it's burnt. A few days ago, we waited a long time to order. There was a hair in our food. They didn't charge for the meal, but the rest of the table couldn't continue eating either. One spoon was dirty, all the cutlery holders were stained. The music was way too loud. When the restaurant is empty, everything runs smoothly. On weekends, you can forget about it.

Despite ordering by phone, the wait is 30 minutes. So it's best to call them when they're ready. It's almost ready, it's almost ready, no answer. The food tastes delicious. Nice atmosphere.

We visited this restaurant recently and honestly, the experience wasn’t great. The food was very average — the Soltani kebab had a weird smell (probably the meat) although it still tasted okay, but the koobideh was honestly the worst I've had anywhere. Sadly, I didn’t take any pictures of the food. What bothered me most though was the hygiene. As you can see in the photo, the cutlery holders were clearly dirty, both front and back. One of the napkins inside was stained too — possibly from the unclean interior. It's quite surprising (and disappointing) that they’re still using such visibly dirty holders.

I first encountered Persian cuisine at Qasr, and I've been delighted by the dishes ever since! Expect diverse flavor profiles and less familiar herbs here. The chicken skewers with buttered rice are particularly good!

I had the same problem when reading the comments. I wonder why the service hasn't improved. I had guests, and although the food was good, the treatment was so bad that our guest left the restaurant upset.

5 star is not enough for this restaurant

We went to Qasr for the first time with a group of friends on Tuesday evening, Everything was really great The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, both in terms of quality and taste 👌 But what made the experience even more special was the incredibly good behavior and attitude of the staff. They were very friendly, patient and attentive and followed up on the order with a smile and complete respect. I felt like I was treated like a special guest. It is really worth coming back a few more times and recommending this place to all my friends

The staff was very rude and bad. It was disgusting. The music was extremely loud. They were literally fighting. First they sat us at a table because we had made a reservation. Then a group came and gave money to the staff. They told us to change tables in a very rude manner.

I am so disappointed that a restaurant with such food has such low quality service. One of my family members requested for a change in our food due to allergy purposes and instead of trying to change our food and apologize for their mistake, they instead gave us such a horrible attitude. They gave more of an attitude than a teenage girl who is going through their first ever period. They walked past our table many times, even stood there staring at our family, and STILL didn't get the food we requested back. I don't think it takes a Persian kitchen 30 minutes to make simple French fries. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest coming here. Poor services and honestly the food isn't as good as authentic, Persian food. So maybe go somewhere else.

I liked the food but unfortunately some of the staff (Milad) did not behave properly. One of the staff members was rude and made one of our esteemed guests leave the table without food, which was very upsetting for the host. They also turned up the music for a group of guests who were celebrating, which disturbed the peace of the crowd to the point where I felt like I was in a disco. Of course, I give five stars to one of the staff members named Omid for his courtesy and respect!

I have to say that I have been traveling around Germany for 3 days now, and this was the best restaurant I’ve tried — Restaurant Ghasr. Big shout-out to them, especially for the chicken kebab, absolutely top-notch! Compared to all other restaurants of this kind, it was by far the cleanest and highest quality.

A Persian friend took me here with the promise that it would be delicious—and it truly was. The taste was outstanding and the dishes truly delicious. The fries here are, without exaggeration, the best I've ever eaten. The service staff was always respectful and professional. I will definitely be back.

The service and staff at the restaurant were good, but the taste of the food was unfortunately disappointing. We ordered Kabab Kubideh and Baghali Polo, but neither dish had an authentic taste.

Went to Qasr Restaurant and honestly, it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. We ordered ghorme sabzi, zereshk polo with chicken, and qaboli polo—and every single dish was packed with flavor. The ghorme sabzi was rich and herby with super tender meat, the zereshk polo had that perfect mix of tangy barberries and fluffy saffron rice with juicy chicken, and the qaboli polo was hands down our favorite—fragrant rice with sweet carrots and raisins, and perfectly cooked lamb. The place feels cozy and authentic, the staff were really kind, and you can tell the food’s made with love. Can’t wait to go back.

Everything was great. We had reserved a table for three and requested a high chair. We ordered the Qasr special chelo kebab and a chelo kebab with side dishes. It was really delicious and had a nostalgic taste 🤩😋

Food was salty, sereschk polo was served without sereschk! One has to pay rice extra for dishes that are all made with Rice… No matter how much you order you always have to pay extra for the delivery

As soon as you walked in, it smelled unpleasant... either sweat or onions. The starter came with sticky, thin bread, and it just tasted like paper. I didn't understand the starter: parsley and other greens with bread and onions, strange. The cardboard bread couldn't be salvaged. The main course was okay. The decorations at the entrance should be replaced; there were some strange, broken decorative items lying around the entrance area.

This restaurant may look nice, but the staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. They treated us with extreme rudeness and disrespect. The staff and the restaurant manager seem to think they're giving away food to guests for free—they act like prison guards, making up and enforcing rules at their own discretion. For example: Before entering the restaurant, you are not allowed to bring a water bottle—neither for yourself nor for your child. If a toddler has a snack in their hand, it must be left outside, and you are asked to order a meal for the child in the restaurant instead. The staff is extremely rude and disrespectful. They have no understanding of cultural courtesy—neither from their own country of origin nor from Germany.

We went to the restaurant today with our family (10 people in total) and had reserved a table in advance. Unfortunately, our visit turned into a very unpleasant experience. After about two hours, the wait staff asked us to leave the restaurant, saying we had been sitting at the table "for too long." We were just about to order drinks and dessert. But even that was denied to us – we were explicitly told that we weren't allowed to order anything else because our time was "up." Such disrespectful and rude behavior is absolutely unacceptable. As paying guests who have behaved properly, we expect hospitality – not to be treated as if we were unwanted. For us, this was definitely our first and last visit. It's a shame that a lovely evening was ruined in this way.

We went out to eat with the family today and were treated very rudely. Even though we wanted to order drinks, we were simply asked to leave and pay immediately because we'd supposedly been sitting there too long. We've never experienced anything like this before, especially since we've been regular customers for years and have always enjoyed eating here. After this disrespectful treatment, we will definitely never return and can't recommend it to anyone (p.s., we had a reservation).

The food was great! I had Dogh (Persian Ayran) and it was super tasty. The portions are huge, perfect for anyone who's really hungry 😉. Plus, they give you free tea, which is a nice touch after munching on a big plate of Persian kebab. The food was pretty good, and I was so hungry that I totally forgot to snap any pics! 😅

Excellent restaurant with huge delicious portions! On Sunday we sat down at the table without a reservation, although it was 5 pm. But this restaurant is always full of visitors - we lived in a hotel nearby and always saw a full restaurant when passing by. The price tag for such portions and the quality of food is very adequate for Hamburg. The staff is polite, responsive and efficient. Advice - one portion can be ordered for two, the dishes are very huge)

Best Persian in Hamburg. Unfortunately there is only one vegan dish on the menu (Qabuli Polo), but it is very good. Reservation is essential if you don't want to wait.
