Thank you for a very nice Christmas party. Fun for the children, whether big or small. Service and food excellent.

Great location for events or an evening with friends. Location is modern and part of a chic restaurant. In the “Playground” there are billiards, table football, table tennis, etc. available, so you can relax a bit at the same time. Music is chill and not too loud, so you can have a good conversation, it has a club feel. The service was very attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and varied. Bottled beer on our evening was Peroni, which I really like.

Very nice atmosphere and attentive staff, unfortunately a very unpleasant experience at the end, which is why I won't come back: I had listened to the employee's gin recommendation for my gin and tonic and she hadn't pointed out to me that there was an additional charge 7 euros (!) meant. A gin and tonic for €16 instead of €9 as on the menu. This made me feel very ripped off. That doesn't work at all.

Sehr gutes Essen und aufmerksamer Service. Waren relativ früh dort 19 Uhr, da war es noch relativ leer. Konzept ansprechend, haben noch Billiard und Kicker gespielt, war schon ein guter Abschluss.

Wunderschönes Restaurant und tolle Bar. Der Service war sehr kompetent und alle hatten einen TOP Service drauf. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend. Und empfehlen die Location zu 100% weiter, für Menschen die einen tollen Abend verbringen möchten.

I wouldn't come back. Overpriced drinks (some from €14 upwards) that consist almost entirely of ice. Classic. They didn't taste like alcohol. You have to differentiate between bottom and top: Downstairs the ambience is really nice and cozy. Music is good. There is a table football (and something else...?) and games to borrow. If you want to go to the “Playground” (upper level with “play equipment”), you have to pay an entrance fee of €10 (!!!). That doesn't work at all. ...And it's just absolutely not worth it. €10 for having two ping pong tables and a pool table (and another game), wow. The best thing is; You have to put in extra money for the pinball machines. Impossible. You have to wait so long at the bar (even though the place was almost empty) that you really lose your mood. Ambience was downright cold and boring. Music went like that. The staff was nice, that's why the star, as well as one for the ambience at the lower bar.

We went to the bar for a nightcap after a concert. The two cocktails were great. Even the cocktail, which wasn't on the menu, was prepared without any problems. Very cool furnishings.

Moin Folks, das ist ganz anders als das was man so kennt, wieso, hier kannst Du arbeiten, dann Mittags etwas essen und am Abend Deine Herzallerliebsten zum Abendessen einladen und später nicht hier vernaschen. Delicious food and chill atmosphere for lunch. The rooftop is also beautiful.

I made a reservation I waited for the table, waved every waiter to get a menu, did it 15 minutes later, waited to ask for my order, they forgot me, I left

I had a business meeting on the rooftop with a couple of beers and when that finished went downstairs for a steak and chips - it was served with a lentil Dahl which I thought was strange but it worked really well. The playground on the 1st floor is full of games a bar pool Table, indoor boule and a dj and dance floor. Los of fun all around. Really friendly staff !

I went here for lunch & it was sooooo delicious! I had the pulled pork and it was really delicious. Everything was great, I'd love to come back.

Visitamos la zona de Altona y buscamos un lugar para almorzar. El restaurante tiene un estilo inusual y moderno. Por la noche parece ser una sala de billar. Pedimos una ensalada con carne de res para mi esposa y una ensalada Cesars para mí. El servicio fue amable y eficiente, la comida era muy buena. Los precios eran justos.

Großartiger Service, die Speisen sind eine Augen- und Gaumenweide, die Weinauswahl exzellent und das Ambiente cool mit wunderbarer Showküche. Manchmal Live-Musik, nicht zu laut und nicht zu lange. Es ist nie ein günstiger aber jedes Mal ein besonderer Abend.

Super Laden hatte ein Wunderschönes Date mit sehr gutem Essen kann ich nur empfehlen.

Hammer! I've lived in Ottensen for 22 years, I've rarely found myself in this corner, but when I did, I walked past it. A tip made me curious, I expected little and got everything: funny, knowledgeable, casual service. The team is an enthusiastic crew. Sharing is caring food in the middle of the table for everyone, vegetarian, like fish, like meat. Everything with an individual twist and something extra, no ChiChi but still reminiscent of star cuisine. If you like the Strawberry Eating Dragon, you will love The Player! Negroni perfect, wine wonderfully good selection for the individual glass, all courses refined and taste explosions. The highlight: your own digestif creations. Sour pear for me - cracker. Then on the 1st floor in the playground, billiards, table tennis, event location. The location itself is industrial, cozy, urban chic. Great in summer with an open facade. We just couldn't see the rooftop bar yet. Let's catch up. Very soon.

Very large, modern and beautiful store. The staff was totally relaxed and friendly. The drinks were very good. We ordered a tomahawk and vegan fries. It was all very, very tasty and tasted really good. I was only missing a steak knife, otherwise everything was really great. Come back to play upstairs.

Tolle Location, flotter Service, Essen sehr lecker und wirklich ausreichend, nur die Toiletten waren dann etwas weniger “sauber”, habe vielleicht eine ungünstige Zeit erwischt.

Food is average and quite expensive. The waiters are super nice. However, you shouldn't expect taste explosions. The play options are cool but unfortunately there are too few in the upper area, far too spacious and large open spaces remain virtually empty and unused.

Modern bar with plenty of space. Very friendly staff and delicious drinks. We can't judge the food yet because we didn't have time for it. The only cashless payment is also very good. We'd love to come back.

We were looking for a nice bar to have a drink. We found what we were looking for in the player. The reception was super friendly and attentive. We had 2 cocktails - the menu offers a very creative offering - fast, friendly service and one we thought was great quality. We would love to come back when we are in Hamburg. Keep it up.

A very loud restaurant with loud music while eating, conversations are hardly possible, excessive prices for drinks and food, service at the table is clumsy and inexperienced, rude tone, I have been waiting for the requested entertainment receipt for over 4 weeks (this entertainment receipt has now been created and is done), value for money is not right, no recommendation, there are many good other restaurants in Bahrenfeld and Ottensen

I'm still very impressed by the crazy concept of the store and the breathtaking menu. The entire staff are all very accommodating and super friendly. You can tell that they get along well with each other and the service works hand in hand. The kitchen is simply phenomenal! We ate our way through the menu because everything was so damn delicious. Afterwards we went upstairs for a drink and later a DJ played, so we sank right there. Definitely a must for our next stay in Hamburg!

Where should I start, the store is completely harmonious and unique. The concept, the furnishings and the food match each other 100 percent. Right at the entrance everything is explained to you in a friendly manner and your jacket is taken away. The service staff is funny, friendly, attentive and simply authentic. You just enjoy watching the kitchen prepare the food. The food, no matter what we tried, was simply incredibly tasty and creative. My favorites The French rock oysters The onsen egg Spicy beef tartare Roasted duck breast The drinks are awesome. The toilets are clean. The second floor invites you to linger and play a game or two. If you want to stay longer, you can fidget until the morning. Some complained about it, we found it good, no cash payment. For someone who has nothing to hide, it shouldn't matter that only card payments are accepted. This is pointed out directly at the entrance. A very successful evening. Thanks to the team. We will be back

We had a great time! The service was super nice and the cocktails were great. The table football looks nice, but isn't really easy to play ;)

Everything perfect and a must. The location is stylish, modern and warm. Although the restaurant is large, the noise is pleasant and the service is quick. The open kitchen shows you what the chefs do and, even though it's open, the clothes don't smell the next day. The service was super friendly, attentive, quick and accommodating. The food was terrific and an experience in terms of taste. The cocktails were also simply delicious. On the second floor you can not only relax with delicious drinks, but also play table football, pinball, table tennis and more. The highlight: everything is super chic and on weekend evenings there is a DJ. Anyone who loves a lot of detail will get their money's worth when it comes to the restaurant's furnishings. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Definitely visit.

The concept of this restaurant is almost unique in Hamburg. The combination between a restaurant and a board game, bar, meeting place. About the food: everything was lovingly prepared, very fresh and well made. The drinks were also very tasty, sometimes even too much alcohol. The prices are rather at the upper end of the acceptable range. The play options on the first floor should definitely be used and are really great. Overall, the restaurant is not equipped with enough soundproofing objects. Accordingly, the acoustics are very loud; you have to shout at each other when the store is full. The service was really very nice and accommodating. The starters are better value for money than the main courses.

We celebrated our civil wedding here with the closest circle and were totally thrilled! The arrangements in advance went great and in the end everything was implemented as discussed! The service was great and we and our guests loved the menu! We were then allowed to use the playground alone with our guests and ended the afternoon perfectly! So a big recommendation for such events and a big THANK YOU to everyone and especially to you Rafa! 🤍

I can only rate New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, all the employees from the bouncers to the hostess (she was drunk) to the bartenders were all very unfriendly.

The three of us were at Player/Playerin on a Saturday evening. We were warmly welcomed and, since it was our first time there, we were explained about the various options for staying there. There is a restaurant (here it is better to reserve in advance), a cocktail bar and on the first floor billiard tables, pinball machines etc. for entertainment. In summer there is still a roof terrace, which was of course closed in December. We chose the cocktail bar. The service was very friendly and the cocktails were tasty, as was the Prosecco, so we ordered another round. Unfortunately there were only cocktails that were on the menu, which was a shame and is unusual for a cocktail bar. All in all, we had a nice evening in the Players with good music that allowed us to have a conversation and lifted the mood (there were 2 DJs playing that evening. One for the Coacktail restaurant level and one on the Player level).

Great place to spend an evening, service and atmosphere is great. The only pity is that almost all the dishes are cooked with great ingredients that are dipped in salty sauce….I wished for every dish that the sauces were 90% less on each plate.

It’s such a pity. Last year exactly on this day I had amazing dinner here. This year the food was so disappointing. So saulty, so much random sause. We were 4 friends of different nationalities: Asian, Western and Eastern European and everyone found it very saulty. I actually felt very tired after food and could not enjoy the evening. Very pity! It is such a lovely place.

Es war dort eine Veranstaltung Weihnachten allein zu Hause. Das war so toll Danke ihr wart sehr nett . Das Essen war einfach lecker .

Alles top, angefangen vom Ambiente, dem Service, der Partylounge im Obergeschoss und dem leckeren Essen. Man muss allerdings auch bereits sein, 120€ auszugeben..

Netter Service. Deko erschlägt einen in Lametta rot und gold. Der Apperativ war lecker, mal was Neurs. Vorspeisen lecker, Hauptgericht ok, das Risotto war pappig und schwer. Der Players Rotwein, ein Merlot, in Ordnung. Der Grauburgunder war nicht ausbalanciert, zuviel Säure. Leider viel der Nachtisch stark ab auf zimtpflaumen ein grosser Berg Creme mit ganz vielen crocrant Perlen, die störten. Im erste Stock eine riesen Lärmkulisse. Was gar nicht ging, waren die Toiletten im 1 Stock. Sobald man die Tür aufmachte, ein fürchterlicher Geruch, unhygienisch und unsauber, so lange kann man gar nicht die Luft anhalten. Wir waren sehr früh im 1 Stock, so dass das nicht alles durch die Gästemassen verursacht worden sein kann. No go für ein Restaurant.

Unglaublich geniales Essen, mega Service und einfach ein perfekter Abend! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen :)

Famoser Laden. Superschön eingerichtet, sehr gute Cocktails und in der ersten Etage ausreichend Spielfläche mit Billardtisch, Flipper, Bowl und Tischtennis. Tolles Konzept!

Ich war das erste Mal im "Der Player" und hatte hohe Erwartungen. Und muss sagen, ich war begeistert. Erstklassiges Essen bei sehr engagiertem Servicepersonal, angenehme Atmosphäre mit erfrischendem Sitzplatz-Setting. Dezente, gut gewählte Hintergrund-Musik im Restaurant und coole Beats eine Etage höher im Spiele- und Tanzbar-Bereich. Beides DJ-gesteuert. Ein toller Abend und eine echte Bereicherung für Hamburg.

Leider sehr enttäuschend Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht miteinander überein. Personal ist freundlich, aber sobald man banale Fragen ( Speisen u.Getränke) hat, muss man sich beratschlagen und ist erstmal weg. Bestellungen wurden falsch gebracht, man musste dann diskutieren das es def.falsch war. Der Service muss das was er anbietet aus dem FF können, ansonsten nicht geeignet für diese Art von Gastro. Es war enttäuschend bei euch, obwohl gut gemacht. KORREKTUR: Es gibt eine „neue“ Barchefin und hat WIRKLICH Ahnung von Barkunde und ist serviceorientiert!! Es sind scheinbar doch alle guten Dinge 3 oder vielleicht eher „Gut Ding will Weile haben“?!! Egal, wir kommen gerne wieder, bitte haltet den Standard. VlG

Ich komme gerade aus dem Player. Cooler laden und sehr gutes Essen, was auch seinen Preis hat. Beim Sinn und Zweck des playgrounds bin ich zwiegespalten: Als Student wäre ich hier öfters hin gegangen um vor der Reeperbahn Spaß/Beschäftigung zu haben und 1 Bier zu trinken. Als Vollverdiener konsumiert man hingegen viel (zu relativ hohen Preisen) aber bekommt nicht wirklich Platz an den Spielmöglichkeiten da sie oftmals von jüngeren Leuten, welche kaum etwas konsumieren besetzt werden. Daher die Frage: welches Klientel möchte der Player vor Ort haben? Das Gesamtkonzept ist mir nicht schlüssig,

Bin begeistert von dem Laden. Die Küche ist wirklich überragend. Vor allem die Vorspeisen haben uns angetan. Der Wein war ganz gut, die Cocktails super. Das Hauptgericht mit Schwertfisch hat mich umgehauen. Das Entenfleisch was wow, die Beilage etwas weniger interessant. Die Ambiente modern aber wenig stillvoll. Etwas.laut, man hat das Personal Akkustich nicht gut verstanden.

Die Location ist toll, leider ist die Musik manchmal viel zu laut, dass man sich nicjt unterhalten kann. Das stresst…Sonst tolles Personal und recht gute Kueche…
