Ein sehr interessantes Konzept, wo Spielplatz fuer Erwachsene (Pool, Tischtennis…) in gleichem Platz mit Bar und Restaurant. Eine schoene Atmospaere, gute Musik, nettes und freundliches Personal, die sich wirklich bemueht hat, Gaeste zufrieden zu stellen. Wir waren von super casual dress code ueberrascht- Gaeste waren mit Baseball caps und weissen Sneakers, Damen in Sneakers- Platz ist zu schoen dafuer, aber es scheint Hamburg Dress code zu sein. Wir finden es toll fuer ein nettes Abend mit Freunde.

I've eaten at Player several times over the last few years and it's always been fantastic. The staff is attentive and unobtrusive and can quickly adapt to each guest. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious, I have never been remotely disappointed here. Even when a companion once complained/inquired why only three pieces were served for the petit four, they simply added another piece instead of explaining that the word four means the French stove and not the number four. Really big! I also thought Playground was a funny idea, but I haven't been able to really use it yet. Thank you and see you next time

sehr hochpreisiges Essen, welches sehr lecker war aber hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht! Außerdem sind die veganen Varianten einen Witz und viel zu teuer. Wir wollten einen geselligen Abend verbringen, aber leider war der Billardtisch den ganzen Abend von einer Gruppe Teenager besetzt. Das hatte ich in diesem Etablissement nicht erwartet. Zudem ist die Lautstärke bei voller Besetzung unerträglich. Für Partys, Firmenfeiern und Events sicherlich großartig. Für einen schönen Pärchen Abend empfehlen wir etwas anderes.

Very nice restaurant and event rooms. Cleanliness needs to be urgently improved. The service was very attentive, but if the saucers ran out, the coffee was simply served without them. Basically no problem, but I would have expected it differently.

Had lunch today with a friend. Tom Ka mussels and noodles with shitake were really tasty and reasonably priced. Cool location

The player in Hamburg is simply amazing! A really cool location that is perfect for both working and enjoying. The coworking space extends over several floors and offers a mega inspiring atmosphere. The kitchen? Simply next level! Absolutely delicious and made with a lot of love. Whether for productive work or for relaxing – everything fits here. I am totally impressed and can only recommend it to everyone!

Enthusiastic. We had our Christmas party there. Everyone liked it.

We've been to the beautiful conference rooms in the Player twice now with our team for a day's workshop. From the service, to the opportunity to eat delicious food in the restaurant, to the location (easy to reach by train, good parking next door in the parking garage), we would check in here again at any time. Absolutely recommended!

Given the quality of service, drinks and food, the store would have to be fully booked every evening. (Fortunately) it often isn't. :)

We were there for the Christmas party. The player is particularly impressive because of the possibility of playing table tennis etc. upstairs. The food was a bit unevenly distributed, so some tables had too much and others too little. The cocktails were very tasty, although the spirits could have been of high quality.

Great location for events or an evening with friends. Location is modern and part of a chic restaurant. In the “Playground” there are billiards, table football, table tennis, etc. available, so you can relax a bit at the same time. Music is chill and not too loud, so you can have a good conversation, it has a club feel. The service was very attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and varied. Bottled beer on our evening was Peroni, which I really like.

Very nice atmosphere and attentive staff, unfortunately a very unpleasant experience at the end, which is why I won't come back: I had listened to the employee's gin recommendation for my gin and tonic and she hadn't pointed out to me that there was an additional charge 7 euros (!) meant. A gin and tonic for €16 instead of €9 as on the menu. This made me feel very ripped off. That doesn't work at all.

Sehr gutes Essen und aufmerksamer Service. Waren relativ früh dort 19 Uhr, da war es noch relativ leer. Konzept ansprechend, haben noch Billiard und Kicker gespielt, war schon ein guter Abschluss.

Wunderschönes Restaurant und tolle Bar. Der Service war sehr kompetent und alle hatten einen TOP Service drauf. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend. Und empfehlen die Location zu 100% weiter, für Menschen die einen tollen Abend verbringen möchten.

I wouldn't come back. Overpriced drinks (some from €14 upwards) that consist almost entirely of ice. Classic. They didn't taste like alcohol. You have to differentiate between bottom and top: Downstairs the ambience is really nice and cozy. Music is good. There is a table football (and something else...?) and games to borrow. If you want to go to the “Playground” (upper level with “play equipment”), you have to pay an entrance fee of €10 (!!!). That doesn't work at all. ...And it's just absolutely not worth it. €10 for having two ping pong tables and a pool table (and another game), wow. The best thing is; You have to put in extra money for the pinball machines. Impossible. You have to wait so long at the bar (even though the place was almost empty) that you really lose your mood. Ambience was downright cold and boring. Music went like that. The staff was nice, that's why the star, as well as one for the ambience at the lower bar.

We went to the bar for a nightcap after a concert. The two cocktails were great. Even the cocktail, which wasn't on the menu, was prepared without any problems. Very cool furnishings.

Delicious food and chill atmosphere for lunch. The rooftop is also beautiful.

I made a reservation I waited for the table, waved every waiter to get a menu, did it 15 minutes later, waited to ask for my order, they forgot me, I left

I had a business meeting on the rooftop with a couple of beers and when that finished went downstairs for a steak and chips - it was served with a lentil Dahl which I thought was strange but it worked really well. The playground on the 1st floor is full of games a bar pool Table, indoor boule and a dj and dance floor. Los of fun all around. Really friendly staff !

I went here for lunch & it was sooooo delicious! I had the pulled pork and it was really delicious. Everything was great, I'd love to come back.

Visitamos la zona de Altona y buscamos un lugar para almorzar. El restaurante tiene un estilo inusual y moderno. Por la noche parece ser una sala de billar. Pedimos una ensalada con carne de res para mi esposa y una ensalada Cesars para mí. El servicio fue amable y eficiente, la comida era muy buena. Los precios eran justos.

Großartiger Service, die Speisen sind eine Augen- und Gaumenweide, die Weinauswahl exzellent und das Ambiente cool mit wunderbarer Showküche. Manchmal Live-Musik, nicht zu laut und nicht zu lange. Es ist nie ein günstiger aber jedes Mal ein besonderer Abend.

Super Laden hatte ein Wunderschönes Date mit sehr gutem Essen kann ich nur empfehlen.

Hammer! I've lived in Ottensen for 22 years, I've rarely found myself in this corner, but when I did, I walked past it. A tip made me curious, I expected little and got everything: funny, knowledgeable, casual service. The team is an enthusiastic crew. Sharing is caring food in the middle of the table for everyone, vegetarian, like fish, like meat. Everything with an individual twist and something extra, no ChiChi but still reminiscent of star cuisine. If you like the Strawberry Eating Dragon, you will love The Player! Negroni perfect, wine wonderfully good selection for the individual glass, all courses refined and taste explosions. The highlight: your own digestif creations. Sour pear for me - cracker. Then on the 1st floor in the playground, billiards, table tennis, event location. The location itself is industrial, cozy, urban chic. Great in summer with an open facade. We just couldn't see the rooftop bar yet. Let's catch up. Very soon.

Very large, modern and beautiful store. The staff was totally relaxed and friendly. The drinks were very good. We ordered a tomahawk and vegan fries. It was all very, very tasty and tasted really good. I was only missing a steak knife, otherwise everything was really great. Come back to play upstairs.

Food is average and quite expensive. The waiters are super nice. However, you shouldn't expect taste explosions. The play options are cool but unfortunately there are too few in the upper area, far too spacious and large open spaces remain virtually empty and unused.

Modern bar with plenty of space. Very friendly staff and delicious drinks. We can't judge the food yet because we didn't have time for it. The only cashless payment is also very good. We'd love to come back.

We were looking for a nice bar to have a drink. We found what we were looking for in the player. The reception was super friendly and attentive. We had 2 cocktails - the menu offers a very creative offering - fast, friendly service and one we thought was great quality. We would love to come back when we are in Hamburg. Keep it up.

A very loud restaurant with loud music while eating, conversations are hardly possible, excessive prices for drinks and food, service at the table is clumsy and inexperienced, rude tone, I have been waiting for the requested entertainment receipt for over 4 weeks (this entertainment receipt has now been created and is done), value for money is not right, no recommendation, there are many good other restaurants in Bahrenfeld and Ottensen

I'm still very impressed by the crazy concept of the store and the breathtaking menu. The entire staff are all very accommodating and super friendly. You can tell that they get along well with each other and the service works hand in hand. The kitchen is simply phenomenal! We ate our way through the menu because everything was so damn delicious. Afterwards we went upstairs for a drink and later a DJ played, so we sank right there. Definitely a must for our next stay in Hamburg!

Where should I start, the store is completely harmonious and unique. The concept, the furnishings and the food match each other 100 percent. Right at the entrance everything is explained to you in a friendly manner and your jacket is taken away. The service staff is funny, friendly, attentive and simply authentic. You just enjoy watching the kitchen prepare the food. The food, no matter what we tried, was simply incredibly tasty and creative. My favorites The French rock oysters The onsen egg Spicy beef tartare Roasted duck breast The drinks are awesome. The toilets are clean. The second floor invites you to linger and play a game or two. If you want to stay longer, you can fidget until the morning. Some complained about it, we found it good, no cash payment. For someone who has nothing to hide, it shouldn't matter that only card payments are accepted. This is pointed out directly at the entrance. A very successful evening. Thanks to the team. We will be back

Everything perfect and a must. The location is stylish, modern and warm. Although the restaurant is large, the noise is pleasant and the service is quick. The open kitchen shows you what the chefs do and, even though it's open, the clothes don't smell the next day. The service was super friendly, attentive, quick and accommodating. The food was terrific and an experience in terms of taste. The cocktails were also simply delicious. On the second floor you can not only relax with delicious drinks, but also play table football, pinball, table tennis and more. The highlight: everything is super chic and on weekend evenings there is a DJ. Anyone who loves a lot of detail will get their money's worth when it comes to the restaurant's furnishings. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Definitely visit.

The concept of this restaurant is almost unique in Hamburg. The combination between a restaurant and a board game, bar, meeting place. About the food: everything was lovingly prepared, very fresh and well made. The drinks were also very tasty, sometimes even too much alcohol. The prices are rather at the upper end of the acceptable range. The play options on the first floor should definitely be used and are really great. Overall, the restaurant is not equipped with enough soundproofing objects. Accordingly, the acoustics are very loud; you have to shout at each other when the store is full. The service was really very nice and accommodating. The starters are better value for money than the main courses.

We celebrated our civil wedding here with the closest circle and were totally thrilled! The arrangements in advance went great and in the end everything was implemented as discussed! The service was great and we and our guests loved the menu! We were then allowed to use the playground alone with our guests and ended the afternoon perfectly! So a big recommendation for such events and a big THANK YOU to everyone and especially to you Rafa! 🤍
