Today in cool weather, cozy and warm outside in the glass dome, had a great meal. The waiters were very attentive. The food was super tasty. Always my pleasure.

Despite the stormy weather, the ambience is beautiful and definitely unique. The service is very courteous, but never intrusive. The food is extremely good. Pasta, meat and mussels were cooked to perfection. The pumpkin risotto is definitely worth recommending. For an extraordinary evening, the Investor 1870 is the right place.

Definitely recommended. Extraordinary and atmospheric ambience in the outdoor glass houses with the view of the water. The food and wine were excellent. The bruschetta and the tartare were particularly good. The veal liver was also tasty and to the point. The service was extremely attentive and courteous. We'll definitely be back.

Unusual places in the glass dome directly on the Alster Canal with a view of the Outer Alster and also really good pasta. Can highly recommend it. It is warm and cozy even in winter thanks to the heaters.

Wonderful evening spent for two in one of the glass houses with great service. Our own Pinot Gris is highly recommended with pumpkin risotto. For dessert, the homemade tiramisu is a must!

Classic Italian, with special waterside seating in a glass pavilion. Seems to be becoming fashionable with the pavilions, opposite the Spanish one too. Good Italian cuisine and delicious food here! It's something completely different and a special experience for groups! Service friendly, price-performance ratio is right.

Had to remember. • Were asked if we wanted the dessert menu again. We wanted to. Unfortunately we were then forgotten again. Then we didn't order any more. • The tables at the entrance are super cold. Every time the door opens it feels cold. But the food was really tasty :-) Maybe we also had a bad day.

The glass houses or greenhouses are a very good idea and the staff are very friendly. We were there with three adults and one child. The food was very delicious but unfortunately our hunger was not satisfied and the highly touted truffle no longer had any aroma and seemed dried out. Given the prices (over €300 in two hours) you should expect it. Too bad!

The food was very average and definitely not worth the price. The octopus was rubbery, the fish and one of our steaks were overcooked. The appetisers are bigger than the mains. We were sat in one of the glass huts, which provide a super nice view and atmosphere, but the person sitting closest to the door was too cold. Wouldn’t come again unfortunately.

If you're here to enjoy a unique atmosphere with a professional and friendly staff then this place is where you want to be. If you're also here for the food then you may reconsider your choice. Sadly , we've found that the food was quite mediocre for the price and not matching our expectations. Surely the quantity and the dressing was there but most of dishes weren't seasoned properly and were therefore lacking taste. The cheese plate was also quite disappointing by providing only similar sorts of cheese. Promising place all in all and yet improvable.

You felt warmly welcome at all times and the well-being of the guest is definitely the priority here. The staff always had a genuine smile on their faces which made for a special evening. The food - from starters to desserts - was of excellent quality and beautifully presented. No matter whether it was beef fillet or a pasta dish with mussels, everything was cooked to perfection and super tasty! Big compliments to the kitchen! I spent my birthday there and can only say that it was a wonderful and special evening - highly recommended! This birthday will be remembered. We'll definitely be back!
