Today, to kick off our vacation, we wanted to eat light fish, and we weren't disappointed. After a friendly welcome and a table assignment, we were quickly served drinks by the extremely friendly and attentive staff. For our main course, we opted for the plaice Finkenwerder style, and it was truly deliciously light. It was preceded by a side salad with light dressing. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

We very much regret that the Margarethenhof is closing its doors at the end of the year. Here on Fehmarn it is one of the most creative cuisines served in a local atmosphere with a harmonious price-performance ratio. We wish Ms. and Mr. Dietrich all the best for your next project.

Very successful menu sequence with surprising combinations, always suitable and never too many flavor components. Just great! The wine accompaniment was very appropriate!

Four of us were at the Hinkelstein on May 24, 2025. It was a wonderful evening. The food was truly amazing, the staff worked together wonderfully, and the restaurant is so cozy and comfortable. I would recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

Here on Heligoland, you can enjoy truly excellent food. Delicious food, friendly and attentive service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Make sure to make a reservation in advance.

Il ristorante è bello (questo il motivo per cui riceve due stelle e non una sola) e abbastanza elegante, ma stonano i tovaglioli di carta. Il problema è la cameriera. Dopo oltre 15 minuti che eravamo seduti non avevamo ancora in mano il menu. Ho cercato di attirare la sua attenzione con scarso successo, fino a quando – e faccio notare che non avevo nemmeno aperto bocca – lei mi ha aggredito in malo modo dicendo che mi aveva visto, che era da sola. Come suggerimento per lei: basta dare ai clienti il menu quando li accompagna al tavolo! Non abbiamo avuto la prontezza di andarcene in quel momento e quindi abbiamo mangiato lì. Menu piuttosto povero con poca scelta, piatti banali, troppo salati … insomma niente di notevole. Anche il prezzo è alto. Decisamente sopravvalutato e poco consigliabile. The restaurant is nice (that's why it gets two stars and not just one) and quite elegant, but the paper napkins are out of place. The problem is the waitress. After more than 15 minutes of sitting down, we still didn't have the menu in our hands. I tried to get her attention with little success, until - I hadn't even opened my mouth - she attacked me in a very rude way saying that she had seen me, that she was alone. As a tip for her: just give the customers the menu when you escort them to the table! We didn't have the presence of mind to leave at that moment and so we ate there. The menu is rather poor with little choice, banal and very ordinary dishes, too salty ... in short, nothing remarkable. The price is also high. Definitely overrated and not recommended.

We came here on recommendation and have no regrets. The restaurant is very quiet but easily accessible on the edge of town. A large parking lot right in front of the restaurant saved us the hassle of searching for a table. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our table. After making a reservation by phone, we were given a table by the window. The staff proved to be very attentive and friendly throughout the evening. The menu is just right, long enough for everyone to find something and short enough to feature fresh ingredients. The dishes we ordered were also of high quality, and the welcome from the kitchen was warm and delicious. I took photos of the starters. Later, I had Wiener Schnitzel, and my companions had entrecote. We were very satisfied.

Service was very friendly and attentive. The food was okay. A bit bland. The atmosphere was boring.

Unfortunately we couldn't eat anything because there was a Christmas party going on. Unfortunately it wasn't available outside. Menu is no longer listed here. And after looking at this, there was nothing there for us. The offer is very thin. There is no other menu.
