Super tasty and very hospitable. Always our first choice when we are there.

We always come here when we are in Grömitz. The food is really very good and the staff is super friendly. The atmosphere has that certain something. And dogs are always welcome there.

We went there last night on a recommendation. And all I can say is it was GREAT! Even the reservation was easy and friendly. We had a great table with a beautiful decoration. The Swrvice team including the senior chef was excellent. This also came to the table. The whole atmosphere was fantastic. We had the fish soup and potato soup in advance. The fish soup has plenty of good ingredients, the broth is excellently seasoned and also the right herbs. The potato soup tasted like my grandma's, a true childhood memory. Afterwards we had the pan fish and the Störtebeker Shiet with fried potatoes. Both fish dishes were prepared to perfection. Lightly mottled and well fried, the slats were glassy and slightly disintegrated. The fried potatoes are also wonderful. The portions are plentiful. The whole thing has a good price-performance ratio. Also recommend the drinks. The water drinks are part of a dispensing system, which is really great. The house red wine is also good. And what should also be highlighted positively is that the takeaway food in Rebowls comes with a deposit. Conclusion. We would be happy to come back and would definitely recommend it

Really good cuisine, I was there with my parents when I came for a weekend. I can warmly recommend the food we had. I had the disturbed citizen, my mom had the Old German style schnitzel and my dad had Störtebekers schitt. What we had was really tasty and we can recommend it. N.H.

Comfortably furnished. The staff was super friendly and extremely quick. The food was excellent. A small but very fine and exquisite menu. A little more expensive. But worth every cent.

We regularly eat at Störtebeker when we are in Grömitz. The service is always very nice and friendly - you just feel comfortable (especially when it's not busy). All dishes - except for one - were always good and very tasty (otherwise we wouldn't be repeat offenders ;-)) We look forward to the next visit 🤗

We got a table at short notice on Saturday evening, the food was delicious and the portions were good. The staff is courteous and the chef is an “original”. It certainly wasn't the last time we ate there. Value is placed on regional products!

We ate there yesterday with 4 adults, 1 child, 1 baby and a dog. We were warmly welcomed and our daughter was included right away. We were served very kindly and there were also pens and a coloring book for the little one. The food was a solid 10 out of 10. The evening was cozy and super tasty. We left full and happy. We'd love to come back.

We ate there with a larger group (10+dog). Great service. Very attentive. Our jackets were taken away at the entrance and at the same time the candles were lit at the table. The table was beautifully decorated for the birthday. With streamers and happy birthday napkins. The drinks were served quickly, as were starters, main courses and desserts. Special requests were taken into account. We asked regularly whether everything was OK. The chef also came over. Very good portions. We felt very comfortable and thank you very much!

We were lucky to get a spot in the outdoor dining area. Despite the temperature being 4 degrees +, the skepticism quickly disappeared because there were heaters, hot water bottles and blankets. The team treated each other with such humor, something I have rarely experienced in the catering industry. And the food was delicious and the price was absolutely legitimate with delicious drinks. We were extremely happy when we were accepted there without making a reservation. A small table for 2 people in a cutely furnished niche was made available to us as the restaurant was fully booked. We've been going to Störtebeker for a few years now and we really like it every time. The staff is always very friendly, open, helpful and very attentive. From my point of view, it's exactly the right level of attention because you're not constantly being asked if everything is OK and it's not like you can only order one drink because the staff magically disappears afterwards. As a starter we had the tartare which was really delicious and the quantity was perfect as a starter. Afterwards we had the kale with cod and the fisherman's schnitzel. The Fischerschnitzel is my absolute favorite dish because the Hollandaise sauce is not a finished product but rather homemade. You can also get more sauce upon request.

Whenever we are in Grömitz, we treat ourselves to one or two delicious dinners in the Störtebeker restaurant. We appreciate the pleasant atmosphere and the excellent quality of the food. All the meat and fish dishes we have eaten so far were cooked to perfection, very pleasantly seasoned and lovingly prepared. We are already looking forward to our next vacation in Grömitz and a few visits to Störtebeker.

With a total of 9 people, we made a spontaneous reservation via WhatsApp the evening before - From a very warm welcome to a very appealing service at the table. Hearty, yet cleverly prepared dishes ensured a successful evening. The next time you visit Grömitz, your stomach is guaranteed!

Nice restaurant, very, very nice employees. The schnitzel was good, my husband's steak was "sour" and inedible! Unfortunately, it's a real shame. Was our last evening here. We wanted to go out for a particularly nice meal and then something like that. Of course excuses came from the staff, I think it was the junior boss, they would have tried it with 3 employees, it wouldn't be bad, that would be a special beef. Sure, we don't know each other🙈. Really a shame!! We were able to order again, but had to pay twice in full.... No accommodation. You can't do that in a restaurant like that!!!

We have only been to Grömitz four times so far and the first time to Störtebeker. It was top notch. We ate cod fillet with kale. The potatoes were like they came from our own garden. The portion is very large. We will definitely eat here again.

Very good food in a pleasant atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive. The salad with salmon strips was more like salmon on a bed of lettuce but was very tasty. The pan fish was also very good and plentiful. Although it didn't come in a cast iron pan...It was just Störtebeker style. We can definitely recommend the restaurant. We would also like to come back again.

First of all, the conclusion: A successful evening! Starting with a friendly phone call to reserve a table (highly recommended). When you arrive, you receive a nice welcome and a very nice table in a modern and stylishly furnished restaurant. The ordering, including competent advice, as well as the serving of food and drinks were carried out quickly. The food was of excellent quality and tasted great! The service was always very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine! The “Störtebeker” is recommended in every respect!

As an amateur chef, all I can do is write, hats off to the chef and the kitchen crew. Culinary highlight in Grömitz! Really all the ingredients on the plate were on point, such a delicious, homemade hollandaise sauce, just fabulous! Also thanks to the fast and super nice service. Highly recommended!!!

I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Everything is perfect here, food top, service top, ambience top. Highly recommended. Update from August 25th, 2024, one of the few restaurants that continues to be top, we'll be happy to come back.

Too bad, too bad, too bad... Really good meal the night before. Then the next day, shortly before 9 p.m., I wanted to order a table for the evening after next and drink wine on site, but was refused. The landlady was no longer in the mood, even though she was still sitting outside the restaurant with numerous guests. Then just do not…! 👎🏼

It was my first time in the Störtebeker restaurant and I found the place to be very cozy. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was quick and friendly, which made the first impression positive. Unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing. The schnitzel was very greasy and tasteless and the fried potatoes were sometimes harder than chips. That was a shame because we were looking forward to a delicious meal. Of course we've experienced worse, but we'll definitely look for alternatives before we go back to Restaurant Störtebeker.

We didn't have a reservation and still got a table even though the restaurant seemed full. All employees were very friendly. The food was great and more than sufficient.

The same dish 3 times and always different. That shouldn't happen in a place like this. Schnitzel once super crispy, twice soft and wobbly. Even after a complaint, no response. The plaice is also wobbly. Apparently not out of the pan. Service very friendly. The food was inadequate in the price range. At the neighboring table there were 2 large dogs, a German Shepherd and a mixed breed, who were harassing one at the table. It doesn't work at all 🐕❗️❗️Reaction, it doesn't do anything. Disgusting for us.

During our vacation we wanted to eat fish and came across this restaurant. We reserved the table via WhatsApp. We received a very friendly welcome on site and were shown to our table (including a note about the steps within the restaurant). The food was really tasty 😋 A small mishap by our daughter (a water glass was knocked over) was noticed and we were immediately provided with new napkins. Card payment is possible.

After a year and a half we came here again to eat - and again it was very, very good. The crew was attentive and friendly, the food was plentiful and tasty. The fish from the pan is fried to perfection, the fried potatoes are way better than before. at Gosch on site. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Had Störtebeker Shiet, unfortunately price performance was not satisfactory. Actually it was an expensive baked potato with little fish. Far too expensive for that and almost a little little.

We became aware of this due to good reviews. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were shown to a table by the friendly team. Everything was fine. Five stars * We then made a reservation for the next evening. This time too everything was perfect. Praise to the entire team. We will definitely come back on our next vacation.

We had the cutter plaice. Super tasty and so fresh, it was still swimming in the Baltic Sea in the morning. Thanks to the chef! It was quite well staffed, but the waitresses dealt with difficult situations in a confident, nonchalant manner and really did it with humor and joy. Clear recommendation.

Outstanding! Unfortunately, you rarely experience something like this! Although the restaurant was full to capacity on a Tuesday, we were particularly impressed by the service. She was more than accommodating, was able to give us full advice on the wine selection and offered us a better place to sit before we got our food. Our first but certainly not last visit to Störtebeker. Top service and really delicious food. The mustard soup is highly recommended. The portions are enough to fill even a sailor and you can't find gussets on tap everywhere else. We'll definitely come back.
