Restaurant Kochpott in Grömitz

We ate here twice during our two weeks in Grömitz, and both times we were very satisfied.

Very friendly staff and, above all, very child-friendly ❤️ The kids were given something to play with, extra children's cutlery, and dishes. We were all thrilled 😊 And the food was perfect, too. Something for everyone 😉

Located right in the center, yet pleasantly quiet thanks to the enclosed terrace, which effectively blocks out the wind. Friendly staff and a wide selection on the menu. It was delicious!

Cod was OK. Spare ribs were warmed up and dry. The bill took 15 minutes. (We sat a bit off to the side)

The Kochpott is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Grömitz. A relaxed atmosphere paired with great food and delicious house beer. Reservations are only possible for larger groups; two or four people can often get a seat with only a short wait.

A lovely restaurant with a pleasant ambiance. The staff is friendly, and we enjoyed the food very much. We hadn't reserved a table, but we were lucky. A short time later, all the tables were occupied.

We've been regulars for years. Whenever we're in Grömitz, delicious food is a must, and our route takes us to Kochpott. Thanks to the super friendly service and the truly great food at fair prices. Update: It's still great, service, and food. We're already looking forward to next year.

Excellent cuisine, from beef roulade and cabbage rolls with boiled potatoes to fish dishes, schnitzel, and delicious fried potatoes, all deliciously prepared, all served by attentive staff. Reservations are recommended. Delicious dark house beer 🍻.

Very nice restaurant, good selection of food. It was very plentiful and delicious. Smoking is also prohibited in the covered outdoor area. Prices are typical of Grömitz. Unfortunately, it took an hour for the food to arrive. Drinks, on the other hand, came very quickly. Definitely recommended – but make a reservation!

We went to Kochpott and were completely thrilled! The grilled meat and fish platter were absolutely delicious and lovingly prepared. We also really enjoyed the house beer. What was particularly nice was that our individual requests were immediately accommodated – very attentive and flexible. The service was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always made an effort to make you feel comfortable. Despite being full, we only waited about five minutes without a reservation – really well-organized! They also allow dogs, which is a huge plus for us. A fantastic restaurant with great attention to detail – we'll definitely be back!

The service was very friendly. My companion had fish, which was perfectly fine. I had the Jägerschnitzel, which I unfortunately wasn't as enthusiastic about. For substitutions (for fries or fried potatoes), there's an additional €2 charge, which I don't think is justified.

We had a delicious meal here and the service was also very good. The restaurant is located at the entrance to the pedestrian zone in Grömitz and is bigger inside than you would think from the outside, so it's worth a look inside even if it looks quite full from the outside.

I've eaten at Kochpott several times. It's always delicious. All the servers have been friendly and accommodating. Special requests have been accommodated without any problems. I highly recommend the veggie burger! The patty is made from vegetables, so you don't have to settle for meat alternatives. I think it's great! The only thing was that our seating was a bit uncomfortable due to the slope. I wish there was a platform to compensate for the sloped seating position in the entire outdoor area. Nevertheless: I'd be happy to go back :)

We were on holiday in Grömitz and then came across the restaurant kochpott the food was absolutely delicious and the service was absolutely fine and super nice should I go on holiday there again we would definitely go there again

We stopped by without a reservation and got a table outside (covered). If you want to eat inside, it's best to reserve in advance. We enjoyed the food 👍

The hunter's and pepper sauces on the schnitzel were ready-made sauces that didn't taste great. The restaurant had a sour, unpleasant smell. Service was very friendly. Too bad, we won't be back. We were disappointed with the value for money.

I had cordon bleu with vegetables and fried potatoes. The vegetables and meat were frozen, and the fried potatoes were industrially produced. I don't need to go to a restaurant for that; it was very disappointing. If this was due to the off-season, I would be even more disappointed if the food wasn't always freshly prepared.

Schnitzel, burgers and fish are good. So that you definitely want to come back. A bit away from the coast and promenade, but the journey is worth it.

Heute Abend haben wir im Kochpott hervorragend gegessen. Das Rumpsteak konnte nicht besser nicht sein. Der Seelachs war auch sehr lecker. Personal war auf zack und freundlich. Wir hatten das Essen nach 20 Min. auf dem Tisch, heiß und nett präsentiert. Preis/Leistung ist Top. Die vielen Gäste sagen alles aus.

We were there at lunchtime, the food was very tasty. Price-performance ratio was completely right, very nice waiter, all the staff were very nice. It is definitely recommended. Next time we are in Grömitz we will come back.

A very nice restaurant. Even though it was really busy, you didn't feel rushed by the staff. The food was really tasty and came quite quickly despite all the tables being occupied. As a starter we had the bacon-wrapped dates and the baked prawns and as a main course we had pan fish with fried potatoes and pollock fillet in an egg shell. A place to feel good and come back.

Unfortunately the website is not up to date, so we found ourselves standing in front of a closed door for lunch. We went back in the evening and got a table without any problem. The service was good and friendly. The schnitzels were tasty, but unfortunately it wasn't enough for a price of EUR 19.90. There are restaurants where you can get twice as much for the same price or even less. Unfortunately, that was a shame, especially since in our opinion it was ready-made schnitzel. Otherwise we liked it and felt comfortable. :)

All in all, for me a top address for excellent home-style food in Grömitz. If I stay in Grömitz again, I will definitely see this restaurant again! So stay as you are!!
