Restaurant Kochpott in Grömitz

Despite our first visit here, we were welcomed and served like friends. Great service, delicious food. Absolutely worth a visit again and again ❗️

We went to Kochpot for the first time today and will be going back tomorrow evening. The food was super tasty and can only be recommended! The service was very pleasant and friendly. All in all, for me a top address for excellent home-style food in Grömitz. If I stay in Grömitz again, I will definitely see this restaurant again! So stay as you are!!

Unfortunately, the food was just okay, but the rest was good

The food is very tasty...you'll feel full and the price-performance ratio is definitely right here. The service is very friendly and impeccable. Drinks and food arrive in no time...we really enjoy eating here and would love to come back

We tested the lunch menu. We enjoyed it, the service was quick and friendly. Since there are many self-service restaurants in Grömitz, this was a very nice change.

Every time we are in Grömitz we eat there. Today we had nothing to complain about again! It's still the same nice waiter!

The price for the food is rather too high, but it tastes good... but the ambience and service make up for it

After a whole day at the sea and there were only chip shops in sight, I went into the cooking pot around 5 p.m. Very, very friendly staff. Drink came quickly and the meal didn't take 15 minutes...I had liver with puree, onions and applesauce, super tasty but I I think puree came out of the bag, that's not so nice... my husband had sailor schnitzel, which is actually a schnitzel with two eggs plus shrimp skewer, ketchup or mayonnaise, too. Here too, it was tasty but somehow something normal. Both meals would have cost around 20 euros The portion was also 15 euros because it wasn't that much. I would have said it was a ready-made schnitzel, but we were full and satisfied. So you can eat quickly within 30-40 minutes and you're out again

Very nice restaurant with delicious food. The conditions are nimble and very nice. What we noticed, however, is that the portion sizes vary slightly between the dishes. The panfish, which is appropriately served in a cast iron pan (rather rare here in Grömitz), was sufficient in size. The beef liver, on the other hand, was a little smaller in portion. But everything was very tasty. But you should definitely come early or make a reservation. After 6 p.m. it gets crowded...We'd love to come back.

Have been regular guests for years. When we are in Grömitz, delicious food is the order of the day and the path takes us to the cooking pot. Thanks to the super friendly service and the really great food at fair prices.

A big compliment to the Kochpott restaurant. We ordered food to take away and what can I say, it was just TOP! There were baked potatoes with chicken and mushrooms, everything was wonderfully fresh and very, very tasty. The chicken was a little dream, tender and well seasoned and then the mega delicious fresh mushrooms, just great. 5 stars for you and keep it up!

Fish platter (€31.90) The fish plate was so O.K. but could have been done better. Personally, I would put the dish in a lower category, as I'm unfortunately used to better things.

Absolutely delicious!! The price-performance ratio is top. The service is also 1a. We recommend that you reserve a table or bring your time.

Went there for lunch twice during our vacation. Very tasty German cuisine (including stuffed cabbage) and the extremely tasty dark house beer. Any time.

Ate in the restaurant (lunch menu). We chose a salad with chicken fillet and pollock breaded with potato salad and tartar sauce. Both very, very tasty and not off the shelf. Made with a lot of love and spice. The pollock was (I think) made with flakes and not just breadcrumbs - nice and crispy. The potato salad and all other compositions are all homemade. You could add the dressing to the salad yourself as desired. See pictures. Recommendation! We'll be back.

It was our first visit on our Grömitz vacation this year and we are happy to have discovered this restaurant. Very tasty and high quality food, especially for lunch, reasonable prices and the waitresses are also super friendly. We felt very well looked after - it was nice to sit there too. Because of the positive experience, we went there a second time for lunch. Gives us a clear recommendation.

Excellent food and even better service. The entire team is in a good mood and, even though there is a lot to do, they are always friendly and available for a quick chat. We were there on 4 out of 5 days of our vacation, except Thursday because it was a rest day. We would love to come back on our next vacation.

We went to Kochpott twice during our vacation, which shows how delicious the food is there - whether it's fish or meat. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice.

Rarely so good and also large portions, prices are normal. The waitresses are very nice and I definitely recommend it. 4 years later... some things have been remodeled but the food is still as good as it was back then. As usual, prices have increased slightly but ok.

We have visited Kochpott several times and have never been disappointed. Super nice service, a good selection on the menu, the food was very tasty and the portions were large enough. The price-performance ratio is also good, only the children's meals are a bit expensive.

Well, schnitzels are solid from pork loin. Unfortunately the breading is not airy but rather pressed. Fries are ok too, but for €19.90 it's more like a cleverly prepared Pinocchio plate or children's plate. Because if you order a schnitzel with sauce, the sauce is served on the plate and if you take it down after serving, the portion only covers just over half of the plate. Especially since we may have had a bit of bad luck because the rosé we ordered wasn't really cool and the juice spritzer was really warm. All in all it was still ok

Very nice restaurant, super tasty food, very friendly staff, a few more fried potatoes as a side dish, then everything would have been even more perfect, but you can change that by next year 😉 So we would definitely like to come back.

Unfortunately, the schnitzel only came from the freezer, along with a few fries and sauce without at least a bit of salad or vegetables. Great for a canteen/snack bar but very disappointing for a restaurant and almost €20. The service, however, was very good.

Wir gehen hier jedes Jahr wenn wir in Grömitz sind zum Essen und wurden auch dieses Jahr nicht enttäuscht. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und man wird flott bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ist frisch zubereitet. Wir hatten Fisch und Schnitzel. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig ok. Also wir kommen auch nächstes Jahr wieder 👍👍.

Really good food with very friendly service. We particularly recommend the fries, which are really good on their own. 🙂 But the other dishes are also really good. At least one visit on vacation is now a must here 😉

The food was really impeccable. We got what we ordered and everyone liked it very much. The employees are very accommodating and friendly. Your wishes will definitely be well taken care of. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the sanitary facilities are clean and easily accessible. However, it is not advisable to visit when it is raining. One part is practically outside, only with partition walls and when we visited there was unfortunately a lot of water just running off the wall. Maybe this should be sealed better. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant.

If you want to eat home-style food, that's what we wanted after a week of vacation, certainly okay. Children's meal was good. My fish was almost over salted and the other food was okay too. It's just a simple restaurant and that's how it's laid out

Tolles Restaurant. Wir haben am selben Tag noch einen Tisch für abends reservieren können und konnten spontan draußen sitzen. Die Bedienung war einfach toll. Essen war auch tip top. Danke für einen tollen leckeren Abend.

The best restaurant in Grömitz! Delicious food, very friendly staff and a really cozy atmosphere. For us, at least one visit is part of every vacation. Unfortunately there is no longer a lunch menu, the restaurant only opens at 5 p.m

Totally delicious food, good value for money, not a long waiting time and nice, friendly staff. We were there spontaneously without a reservation with 6 women, it wasn't a problem at all, even though it wasn't exactly empty. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to have the boiled pot again the next evening. Thanks to Mr. Lüthans, the tip was his.

We really liked it there. The food was very tasty, we sat on the terrace which could be closed with an awning and the staff was friendly and available to have a laugh. We would come back.

I can confirm the impression of other guests: there are a lot of frozen dishes and ready-made sauces here. The dining room sometimes smelled strongly of Maggi gravy when food came from the kitchen. The salad tasted musty (according to the service, the yogurt sauce was “refined” with pineapple). Wouldn't come back.

Like every year, everything is always good 👍 If you come to Grömitz, you should definitely eat there...it's definitely worth it...

Never again The schnitzel was a frozen product. Plus a ready-made sauce and fries for 19.90. I'm still okay with a price increase, but does the quality have to get worse?

2024: Hello Grömitz ☀️ Vacationers, we've been vacationing here for years, but we've only now stopped by Kochpott on the recommendation of my colleague and are annoyed that we weren't there earlier. The food was super tasty, the portion didn't look that big at first, but it was really enough. So, next year for a new one 😋. We were also allowed to bring our four-legged friend 🐕‍🦺 with us 👍

Food no longer like it used to be

We ate in the area every day. By far the best restaurant and cannot be compared with Timmendorfer Steand or Travemünde. Price performance fits. Keep it up. A wheelchair-accessible toilet would be great.

A little disappointed 😞. The long-announced wedding anniversary with some table setting was not fulfilled. Drinks and food were delivered quickly. Prices are very generous. A pity....

Nicely decorated restaurant, nice service. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly within a year and the prices have risen extremely. Which is not all due to inflation. There is also a bit of rip-off of tourists.
