A very nice restaurant with friendly and competent staff. The food is excellent, freshly prepared, and delicious. There's also something for children on the menu. Thanks to all the staff, from the front desk to the hard-working kitchen staff.

Very, very tasty, but unfortunately, the lunch portions are getting smaller and smaller. Above is last year's lunch of pollock in egg batter, below is the lunch of 2025 of pollock in egg batter. What a pity...

The food was absolutely delicious, nothing to complain about. One star deducted because there were a few too many fries. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend it. Very tasty. The price was also quite reasonable.

Highly recommended. Very friendly staff (even though we arrived just before 2 p.m.) and incredibly delicious food for all ages! It's already on my to-do list for next year's vacation.

Side salad: The dressing was tasteless and the salad was very cold, probably pre-prepared from the refrigerator. The appetizers and main course were very tasty. The service was friendly and courteous.

Food/Quality gets 4/5 stars: The schnitzel was very tasty and large enough, but I think the fried potatoes could be improved in terms of crispiness. Delicious food and fair prices. Good, friendly service. Would gladly return. Update 2025: The quality of the food has declined significantly. The fish was too dry and very salty. The hunter's and pepper sauces on the schnitzel were ready-made sauces that didn't taste great. The restaurant had a sour, unpleasant smell. Service was very friendly. Too bad, we won't be back. We were disappointed with the value for money.

I had cordon bleu with vegetables and fried potatoes. The vegetables and meat were frozen, and the fried potatoes were industrially produced. I don't need to go to a restaurant for that; it was very disappointing. If this was due to the off-season, I would be even more disappointed if the food wasn't always freshly prepared.

The steak was a little over the desired cooking point, but that can happen. Price-performance and quality are great. We will definitely come back! ☺️

Schnitzel, burgers and fish are good. So that you definitely want to come back. A bit away from the coast and promenade, but the journey is worth it.

Heute Abend haben wir im Kochpott hervorragend gegessen. Das Rumpsteak konnte nicht besser nicht sein. Der Seelachs war auch sehr lecker. Personal war auf zack und freundlich. Wir hatten das Essen nach 20 Min. auf dem Tisch, heiß und nett präsentiert. Preis/Leistung ist Top. Die vielen Gäste sagen alles aus.

We were there at lunchtime, the food was very tasty. Price-performance ratio was completely right, very nice waiter, all the staff were very nice. It is definitely recommended. Next time we are in Grömitz we will come back.

We had dinner here both days of our weekend getaway. We enjoyed it so much the first night that we couldn't help but eat there again the very next day. 🥰 Service, quality, value, taste – everything was impeccable!

A very nice restaurant. Even though it was really busy, you didn't feel rushed by the staff. The food was really tasty and came quite quickly despite all the tables being occupied. As a starter we had the bacon-wrapped dates and the baked prawns and as a main course we had pan fish with fried potatoes and pollock fillet in an egg shell. A place to feel good and come back.

We have been eating at Kochpott several times a year whenever we are in Grömitz for years and always find consistently good quality, courteous and service-oriented staff, always helpful owners and a family atmosphere in a great ambience. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Very tasty food, large enough portions for fair prices. Service = very friendly, relaxed, attentive, requests are taken into account, changing the side dish is no problem. We were there for the first time yesterday and we liked it so much that we had a delicious meal there again today. We will definitely come back on our next vacation. Unfortunately the website is not up to date, so we found ourselves standing in front of a closed door for lunch. We went back in the evening and got a table without any problem. The service was good and friendly. The schnitzels were tasty, but unfortunately it wasn't enough for a price of EUR 19.90. There are restaurants where you can get twice as much for the same price or even less. Unfortunately, that was a shame, especially since in our opinion it was ready-made schnitzel. Otherwise we liked it and felt comfortable. :)

We went to Kochpot for the first time today and will be going back tomorrow evening. The food was super tasty and can only be recommended! The service was very pleasant and friendly. All in all, for me a top address for excellent home-style food in Grömitz. If I stay in Grömitz again, I will definitely see this restaurant again! So stay as you are!!

After a whole day at the sea and there were only chip shops in sight, I went into the cooking pot around 5 p.m. Very, very friendly staff. Drink came quickly and the meal didn't take 15 minutes...I had liver with puree, onions and applesauce, super tasty but I I think puree came out of the bag, that's not so nice... my husband had sailor schnitzel, which is actually a schnitzel with two eggs plus shrimp skewer, ketchup or mayonnaise, too. Here too, it was tasty but somehow something normal. Both meals would have cost around 20 euros The portion was also 15 euros because it wasn't that much. I would have said it was a ready-made schnitzel, but we were full and satisfied. So you can eat quickly within 30-40 minutes and you're out again

Very nice restaurant with delicious food. The conditions are nimble and very nice. What we noticed, however, is that the portion sizes vary slightly between the dishes. The panfish, which is appropriately served in a cast iron pan (rather rare here in Grömitz), was sufficient in size. The beef liver, on the other hand, was a little smaller in portion. But everything was very tasty. But you should definitely come early or make a reservation. After 6 p.m. it gets crowded...We'd love to come back.

A big compliment to the Kochpott restaurant. We ordered food to take away and what can I say, it was just TOP! There were baked potatoes with chicken and mushrooms, everything was wonderfully fresh and very, very tasty. The chicken was a little dream, tender and well seasoned and then the mega delicious fresh mushrooms, just great. 5 stars for you and keep it up!

Fish platter (€31.90) The fish plate was so O.K. but could have been done better. Personally, I would put the dish in a lower category, as I'm unfortunately used to better things.

Ate in the restaurant (lunch menu). We chose a salad with chicken fillet and pollock breaded with potato salad and tartar sauce. Both very, very tasty and not off the shelf. Made with a lot of love and spice. The pollock was (I think) made with flakes and not just breadcrumbs - nice and crispy. The potato salad and all other compositions are all homemade. You could add the dressing to the salad yourself as desired. See pictures. Recommendation! We'll be back.

It was our first visit on our Grömitz vacation this year and we are happy to have discovered this restaurant. Very tasty and high quality food, especially for lunch, reasonable prices and the waitresses are also super friendly. We felt very well looked after - it was nice to sit there too. Because of the positive experience, we went there a second time for lunch. Gives us a clear recommendation.

Rarely so good and also large portions, prices are normal. The waitresses are very nice and I definitely recommend it. 4 years later... some things have been remodeled but the food is still as good as it was back then. As usual, prices have increased slightly but ok.

Excellent food and even better service. The entire team is in a good mood and, even though there is a lot to do, they are always friendly and available for a quick chat. We were there on 4 out of 5 days of our vacation, except Thursday because it was a rest day. We would love to come back on our next vacation.

Well, schnitzels are solid from pork loin. Unfortunately the breading is not airy but rather pressed. Fries are ok too, but for €19.90 it's more like a cleverly prepared Pinocchio plate or children's plate. Because if you order a schnitzel with sauce, the sauce is served on the plate and if you take it down after serving, the portion only covers just over half of the plate. Especially since we may have had a bit of bad luck because the rosé we ordered wasn't really cool and the juice spritzer was really warm. All in all it was still ok

Unfortunately, the schnitzel only came from the freezer, along with a few fries and sauce without at least a bit of salad or vegetables. Great for a canteen/snack bar but very disappointing for a restaurant and almost €20. The service, however, was very good.
