Das Essen war ausgezeichnet die Karte ist übersichtlich im sehr positivem Sinne aber das was man dann erhält ist so super präsentiert und zubereitet. Richtig gute kulinarische Kunst und tolle Tellersprache. Der Service ist richtig klasse - nordisch offen und sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein . Klare Empfehlung und wir werden auch nochmal wieder kommen. DANKE

Wir hatten einen Tisch bestellt und diesen auch zugewiesen bekommen. Das Lokal war aber überraschend gering besucht. Keine Tischdecken, Papierserviette. Wir wählten das "Sommermenue". Als Vorspeise Tomate und Mozzarella mit Olivenöl, Balsamico und Basilikum. Hier fiel auf, dass die Tomaten recht runter gekühlt und hart waren. Da fehlt es dann an Aroma und entsprechend einfach wirkte das auf uns - Brot wurde nicht dazu gereicht oder angeboten. Der Hauptgang war Frische Pasta in Butter geschwenkt mit Rukola & Kirschtomaten, Knoblauch, Parmesanraspeln und einem Lachsfilet Das Lachsfielet war relativ klein, die Nudeln dafür reichlich. Das Dessert war Lübecker Rote Grütze mit Vanillesauce Der Wein war recht einfach und ohne Herkunft. Der Espresso war ebenfalls gerade so O.K. Also insgesamt eine durchschnittliche Leistung in einem zwar historischen Gebäude - aber nicht mit dem nötigen Flair, das auf einem wirken würde. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist dadurch auch nicht besonders.

Friendly reception. We had a large, bright room with a balcony and a view of the Elbe. Bicycle could be locked. Free parking opposite. Breakfast buffet was good and sufficient. Dinner was also good.

We celebrated our wedding in the North Wind. From the first contact to the celebration, everything went very professionally and perfectly. Our guests and we were thrilled. Lovingly laid out, food is a dream. And even when it was raining, the location was really great. We hope to come back as guests in the summer. Thank you very much...

Very disappointing! We drove especially from Kiel to Flensburg to eat plaice with ratatouille vegetables. Unfortunately, the waitress explained to me that this order was not possible because it was too crowded and the ratatouille vegetables would take too long to prepare. Why are there several dishes with ratatouille vegetables on the menu if these cannot be ordered when the restaurant is full??? I asked if I could get the dish if I was willing to wait longer for it. Unfortunately, this was also denied by the waitress. It's a shame that the guests' wishes are no longer worth it. In the future I would rather eat somewhere else!

So far I have always given 5 stars here. Since the last visit in June 2024, today has been an absolute disaster. Our popular fish platter was simply not edible, let alone tasty. The interior is barely warmer than the 10 degrees outside. Despite the warming plate, the food got cold faster than it could be eaten. An absolute mistake today.

We were there for dinner in the evening. The ambience is beautiful and the view is great. The menu was clear and seemed to consist of more alcohol than food. The schnitzels were pounded so thin that they only tasted like breading. There was an inexplicable pile of grated carrots on top of the cucumber salad and it tasted so spicy that I had to leave it alone. This was accepted without comment. The cream sauce was also very spicy and parsley was sprinkled on everything, even on the tartar sauce. Although there wasn't much going on, service was lacking. So the food didn't blow me away, the ambience did.

The food is very tasty, fresh and plentiful. The steak was cooked to perfection. The staff is very friendly and always ready to have a joke. All in all a Niendorf original 👍👍👍

Wir haben hier mit 30 Personen unsere goldene Hochzeit gefeiert. Es war ein super Buffet, das keine Wünsche offen ließ, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Restaurant Strehl ist nur zu empfehlen.
