The Müggenbusch restaurant is highly recommended! The location on the Wakenitz and the extensive private property is beautifully landscaped with many native trees and plants. An oasis of peace and relaxation with plenty of seating to relax. There is a large free parking lot right in front of the entrance. Goats, chickens and a pot-bellied pig live naturally on the premises. The service is very friendly and personal. Every guest is warmly welcomed and served with much joy and good humor. The food is very tasty, plentiful and lovingly prepared. Prices are family friendly. Reservations by telephone are strongly recommended, as many private companies reserve in advance.

Last year I was able to attend a wedding in wonderful Müggenbusch for the first time as an officiant and I was very excited! It is so beautifully surrounded by lots of nature, forest, meadows and water. There is a very special place for the wedding ceremony on a jetty, perfectly protected from the blazing sun or rain. Really a very special place, I'm already looking forward to the next time!

Actually, you can't recommend the restaurant because it will be even more difficult to get a table 😉 So it's really an outstanding restaurant, great home-style cuisine with great service and a wonderful location. You can also forgive the lack of the option to pay by card. A “must visit” in Lübeck

We come regularly and with pleasure. The food is of high quality and fairly priced. The service is nice and courteous. The ambience is cozy at first glance, but at second glance it's a bit old.

Were there for Valentine's Day dinner. Once again it was very tasty. The beef steak was cooked to perfection. Price performance very good.

All in all it was a nice evening with good food and nice service. The price-performance ratio is completely ok. The only unpleasant thing was that there was a bit of a draft and it got cold when someone entered the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

Actually, I don't want to recommend this restaurant at all. If more people come, you'll never get a table again... you often need months in advance for that. There is a reason for that. But: In short, it's really great. The quality of the food is very good. Overall very good

We eat at this great restaurant several times a year. We particularly like the 4-course candlelight dinner. The taste is unique and the serving cannot be topped. The service is great, no wishes remain unfulfilled. The restaurant exudes a charm that I have never experienced anywhere else. Since it is almost always fully booked, the excellent cuisine speaks for itself❣️

Very, very tasty food (mushroom soup, roast goose, Brussels sprouts, robin, dumplings, croquettes, ice cream on hot apples); First of all, a soup that really tastes like mushrooms, demonstration of the whole goose, postponement of dessert due to gluttony and first coffee or cappuccino. The whole thing was very nice, good advice, selection, serving and clearing away with style. Great atmosphere inside and outside. Parking spaces available. Simply great and recommended, but I think only by pre-order.

We were there today for a Christmas birthday dinner and had a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was cozy, the little Christmas market was very pretty and the mulled wine was incredibly tasty! Apart from the fantastic duck, the service was calm and absolutely great despite the full tables. It was our first time here but definitely not the last!

The goose food was first class, very tasty and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fine. The service, the staff is particularly worth mentioning, so nice and accommodating! We were there with 20 seniors and everyone was thrilled.

We were recently there for a goose meal. The restaurant is conveniently located not far from Lübeck and the BAB 20. There are sufficient parking spaces. You will be welcomed into a small Christmas village with mulled wine. The restaurant itself is decorated in a cozy, rustic style. The menu was consistently excellent. The goose was cooked to perfection and the side dishes went very well with it! Price-performance ratio is right here! The employees are also consistently friendly and courteous. Highly recommended! I'd love to come back.

Very good event location with very good food/buffet for various events and seasons. The service is also very nice and accommodating. I like coming back here every time.

There are enough photos available. Four days ago we had lunch there (small birthday party). The parking situation is annoying, especially when larger groups dine there. Note: The restaurant cannot be reached by public transport. In the spirit of Christmas, the wooden stalls distributed punch, gifts, etc. Food was excellent, veal medallions as tender as I have ever had, as were the venison medallions, three generous pieces each. The pike perch stuck out as a fillet over the edge of the plate. Side dishes were so plentiful that guests brought their Tupperware containers with them. Pre-ordering a table is definitely advisable.

Enjoyed the St. Martin's goose menu today! Delicious, plentiful and also affordable and very friendly, competent service! The best St. Martin's goose in Lübeck and the surrounding area! Absolutely recommended! But early reservation is recommended! e.g. E.g. reserve 2024 for 2025! It's worth it... we'd love to come back!

A GRILL BUFETT OFFERED A LARGE SELECTION OF DELICIOUS THINGS, VERY DELICIOUS, A PRAISE TO THE KITCHEN. IT WAS VERY, VERY BEAUTIFUL TO THE EYE. I HAVEN'T SEEN SUCH A GREAT BUFETT FOR A LONG TIME, ANOTHER PRAISE TO THE FRIENDLY AND MOTIVATED TEAM. WE DANCED UNTIL THE MORNING AFTER GREAT MUSIC. Candlelight dinner was absolutely fine for the price. Can be recommended. Unfortunately the parking lot is muddy. Only recommended with rubber boots. Too bad!

I was disappointed today, the duck leg was very dry and some of the skin wasn't eatable. The coffee in the mug tasted stale, the fruit cake: where was the fruit....? I was always enthusiastic, but today I was very dissatisfied.... And the parking spaces were soggy, muddy, a physical assault.... Car washed thoroughly, clothes, pants and shoes.... 😡

A very special flair, simply enchanting

The grill buffet in the evening was very nice and everything was really good. Breakfast for me personally bit disappointing very little choice. The staff, however, was great. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. The ambience is great, the whole thing has a very nice old style and the small pond outside also fits perfectly into the overall picture.

The place, in this nature, could not have been better chosen and the words that Pastor Frank Gottschalk chose, about Noah's Ark and fragility nature, fit exactly there. The right place to say thank you. Not only for the fact that we can live here happily and in peace, but also to Martin and the whole Müggenbusch team for the delicious food, which was free for everyone and hopefully brought in a lot of donations for children and young people who are not doing so well. When choosing our wedding location, we chose Müggenbusch and celebrated our wedding including a free wedding ceremony here on September 8th, 2024. Admittedly, at the beginning there was some uncertainty about scheduling and scheduling, which made us a little unsure. But we didn't let that deter us, we trusted in the Müggenbusch team's years of experience and in the end we weren't disappointed. On the contrary! The Müggenbusch is beautiful, especially when the weather is good, the staff are super friendly and were always on hand during the celebration and the food was absolutely amazing - the barbecue buffet is a clear recommendation! The ambience is wonderfully naturalistic and is reminiscent of Louisiana in the summer, only without the mosquitoes and alligators. Super friendly staff who make a lot of things happen at celebrations and serve up a great buffet!

We celebrated a big birthday. The food and service in the tent were great. The environment is a dream. But here and there the corners and the floor are dingy and dusty. Even if the ambience is supposed to be rustic, it can still be a little more neat. Even old lampshades and sofas don't have to look that bad.

The order was taken and we were informed that everything was reserved! So the food cannot be rated!

We were there by bike and had a good time at the kiosk/construction trailer by the water. The small animals in the gate were very cute 😁 Very nicely located restaurant.

We chose the Müggenbusch. At that time we looked at the tent where we decided on the location. Now we came to the Loction in March and they had to completely remodel. At first we thought whether it was a good thing with the separate rooms. But we have to say it was 1 A with an asterisk. The separate rooms made it great because the people who wanted to talk could stay seated at the table and the others could dance in a relaxed manner. There was no interruption to the wedding at all. We felt very comfortable and all of our wishes were completely implemented. We are super happy to have celebrated our wedding in Müggenbusch. The food was terrific 1 A with double stars. There was something for everyone. We had a salad with goat cheese that was super refreshing. Afterwards we booked a BBQ buffet. HAMMR JUST HAMMER. We had all kinds of dessert and it was also really good. For lunch we had currywurst with bread and a delicious cheese plate. The waiters/ladies were great, they read every wish from their lips and were super friendly. No matter whether you ordered a schnapps at night or right at the beginning, the waiters were extremely friendly and did it with passion. The waiters discussed everything with us beforehand and coordinated it with the DJ. It was just a really nice communication. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the entire Müggenbusch team. We would have loved to continue celebrating with you. Thanks for organizing and setting up everything. We were super excited. Our guests still rave about the food and the location, how beautiful everything was and how harmonious everything was. We are super happy to have celebrated with you. Last weekend I was there as a wedding planner and really wanted to share my amazing experience with the service team. Nina and Jannes supported me as contacts throughout the day with so much helpfulness, empathy and flexibility. At no point were any questions left unanswered and the coordination before the program items ran absolutely smoothly. Very tasty food, the staff is super friendly

We celebrated our wedding here and Mr. Schäfer's team really gave us a dream wedding. During a few preliminary discussions, the key points were determined very professionally, and the celebration itself was better than we imagined. Starting with the decoration, both outside and inside, a super delicious BBQ with a large selection and great quality, a totally motivated service team that immediately fulfilled all wishes (Bravo, Jule and Co.), from A to Z Everything was very well organized and the bride and groom and all the guests had a great time and were happy. Thank you.

Despite various closed events in the marquee, there was enough space in the picnic area for hungry and thirsty canoeists and rowers.

The food, atmosphere and staff are really great, the only thing that sometimes bothers me is that some dishes or side dishes are sometimes out of stock. However, this is really rarely the case. I really enjoy eating there and can recommend it to everyone.

We have already celebrated my wedding, birthdays and my daughter's high school graduation here. Everything was always perfect! The boss is a great guy and the staff is super accommodating. The food is also super tasty! The entire area is beautiful. The best five stars I've ever given.

We celebrated our wedding there and have rarely been so enthusiastic about the food. The atmosphere, the service staff and the location itself are simply beautiful. Only the rooms for overnight stays are not the non plus ultra. But they're all enough for an overnight stay after the party. We'll come by again. :)

Wow! We were invited to a wedding celebration with a barbecue buffet in Müggenbusch. We are very excited. And that's because of two things. Food & Staff! A little anecdote: During the second photo shoot, heavy downpour began. Two hotel employees immediately ran out with umbrellas to look after the bride and groom and the guests on the lawn. This really knocked my socks off. This isn't just about "selling food and saying goodbye" - this is about the guest. This was also permanently noticeable later. The entire team was so incredibly attentive. At exactly the right distance, in a pleasant manner, people asked if you needed anything else. There were always small conversations with the staff. Nobody “just did their job”, everyone put their heart and soul into it. We really liked the entire area, including the evening atmosphere. Sure, it could do with a bit of renovation in one corner or two, but overall it has charm. And the grill buffet - it was awesome. The meat - fried to perfection. The salads, the fruit, the cold plates. The Candy Bar. It was amazing and super delicious!

Price-performance top. Compliments to the service and management of the restaurant.

We went to a wedding in Müggenbusch yesterday and what can I say, it was top class! The atmosphere is very cozy. The many wooden huts and the many seating areas make it look a bit like a festive Christmas market. When it gets dark, this ambience is complemented by the countless fairy lights. Only the pavilion on the water could use a little more attention and a bucket or two of paint. For dinner there was a fantastic grill buffet where nothing was missing. From the sumptuous starters to the excellent grilled meat and the delicious sauces and side dishes, there is nothing to complain about here. The guys at the grill definitely know their stuff. The service and employees are always courteous, attentive and happy to chat. All in all, a great day and certainly a positive experience for the bride and groom. We'd love to come back. If necessary, even for your own wedding. Keep it up! 😉👍

The restaurant is idyllically located near the Wakenitz. The "garden" extends to the ferry dock. Many celebrations take place here, so you should definitely make a reservation. It's worth it!

Went there for the asparagus buffet. Huge selection and everything very well prepared and very tasty. Very friendly service who quickly refilled all the dishes throughout the evening. There are also lots of places outside in a really nice atmosphere. Would love to come back.

update May 11th, 2024: Candlelight dinner booked, reserved in good time: there was asparagus, either schnitzel or salmon, with home-made hollandaise. First of all, bread with homemade curry dip, a small terrine of asparagus cream, then tomato mozzarella on rocket and a cherry pepper in an excellent dressing. As dessert, vanilla ice cream with strawberries and cheese cake cream was served in a glass. Excellently prepared, salmon and schnitzel were cooked to perfection. Full marks! Service staff very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. That was our gastronomic highlight of the last few weeks. Absolutely recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Over 60 guests at a birthday party - obviously no problem for the Müggenbusch team. It started with the welcome and continued at the tables, which were lovingly set with high-quality cutlery and beautiful decorations. My personal highlight was the varied buffet, which was a visual highlight in the tent structure alone. I would like the service team to be exactly like that for a possible celebration: silently in the background and always there when you actually wanted to call them. Very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Since I've known the location since the late 1960s and haven't been there for ages, I was very pleased to see the transformation into this current feel-good place. Quality and fair prices characterize the popular restaurant in Lübeck 'Amazon of the North' from! The disadvantage: due to the high demand, it was difficult to get appointments in a timely manner. We had to have the 'Candle Light Dinner' on Wednesday lunchtime with 4 adults because the evening dates were fully booked for a long time. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay again and can only recommend the house! The point deduction for the ambience does not refer to the cozy, living room-like interior, but to the partly very 'rustic' outdoor area, which is striking in daylight.

Great location in the forest + by the lake. It's furnished a bit like grandma's, but it has style and is cult. Excellent wedding location, great food (best value for money in a long time). I can only recommend.

I celebrated my daughter's wedding there last year and have always enjoyed going back there several times to eat, great staff, always nice and friendly, very accommodating, the boss is also very nice and friendly, always accommodating. I'll definitely be there again soon. I can I'm happy to recommend what I've done many times. Keep it up.

Delicious food at reasonable prices, beautifully located on the Wakenitz. However, I "only" give it 4 stars because the staff refuses to pay by debit card, even though it is possible (the staff probably can't help it because they are acting on instructions). Even with larger companies we were supposed to pay in cash, we refused. Only after a long discussion were we able to pay with an EC card.

Always my pleasure. Our traditional annual goose dinner is simply top.
