We ate at the Knusperhäuschen on Sunday based on a recommendation. What can you say 🤔 - “absolutely awesome” 😁. Thank you for finally delicious food again. We had the fish variations (skrei, black halibut, Icelandic salmon) on a bed of vegetables, Reichelsheimer tuber on a citrus butter stock. Everything to the point. Fish perfect, vegetables al dente, potatoes too. The service is very courteous and has some recommendations. The boss (cook) is extremely creative and you can taste that the cooking here is made with love. The greeting from the kitchen was a culinary delight 😋. What can you say? Just go and enjoy! 👏👏👏 Keep it up!

Small but mega 🤗 A small restaurant that specializes in culinary delights. Every dish was an explosion in the mouth and an amazing experience. It's not without reason that this restaurant has received so many awards. It was a wonderful evening, thank you.

The food is simply fabulous. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the food is served quickly. Unfortunately, it's a large, open space upstairs and a small space downstairs, with tables so close together that sometimes you can't hear yourself because the conversation is so loud.

I had a super delicious Cordon Bleu. There were also golden fries, exactly to the point. Another highlight: the classic Hessian green sauce with fried potatoes and egg - very tasty and really authentic. You can taste that the cooking here is made with love. The friendly service makes the visit completely comfortable. If you're looking for down-to-earth German cuisine, you've come to the right place. I'll definitely be back!

A visit to the restaurant at the good spring is like coming home - with the difference that someone who really knows their craft is cooking for you! The staff is incredibly warm and attentive - you can immediately feel that they work here with love. We chose the Swabian pan with tender pork fillet, homemade spaetzle and fresh mushroom cream sauce - and what can I say: it was simply a poem! There was also a really large, crunchy side salad – fresh, colorful and full of flavor. Homemade, honest and cooked with soul – that’s exactly how gastronomy should be. We'll definitely be back! The photo actually says it all – the pan was completely empty. If you still have doubts: go, taste, enjoy!

The Buchwald has been one of the top restaurants in the cider industry in “Frankfurt goes out” for years, and rightly so. It's typical to sit in a very purist restaurant without great table runners, decorations, etc. There is a seasonal selection of different ciders, which makes it stand out or the simple, classic Ebbelwoi in a ribbed (glass) or Bembel. The menu continues to be purist. There is no great fuss, but emphasis is placed on what makes a good cider farm, namely Hessian/Frankfurt cuisine. However, they also offer something for vegetarians. Of course we drank a four of Bembel and ordered a bottle of water. The starter included the classic Handkäs with music, butter and bread and a Tafelspitz salad with Handkäse. Both super tasty. The Tagelspitz salad was very filling. If you're not very hungry, you can also order this as a main course. In the main course we had a cordon bleu and a Frankfurter pork schnitzel with Frankfurter grits sauce. Both can be highly recommended. Only the Cordon Bleu might have a little more cheese in it. The schnitzels were beautifully baked and all of the dishes were very tasty and tasty. The service and probably also the owner (Nici) were very friendly and competent. We felt very comfortable in the Buchwald and would love to come back. Maybe there will be enough for dessert too. See you very soon!
