Schnitzel was tender and tasty, unfortunately the mushroom sauce didn't seem fresh and had a strange consistency. Otherwise large portions, nice and quick service.

To the Linde, Oberursel. One of the most beautiful beer gardens in the region, easily accessible from the centers in the Rhine-Main area by car or bicycle. In summer you can sit wonderfully under the ancient, gnarled linden trees. But the interior of the restaurant in Oberursel also offers everything you could wish for in the colder months. No matter whether it's a dinner for two, a social or family event... here you will always find suitable rooms - tastefully furnished and decorated. "Unter der Linde", on Urselbachstrasse, serves good, solid Croatian dishes and dishes from international cuisine, with attentive service (despite always being busy in the summer season). I believe that is the "secret" of the local cuisine is an absolutely high-quality grill that, when operated professionally, can transform any grilled dish into a very good one, even if it (?!) comes from TK or CF, which is certainly nothing unusual given this price/performance ratio. At least I've never "heard a meat tenderizer at work..." ;-)Note: The menu is very extensive, so it's hard to decide. But, based on the experiences mentioned, just look carefully. There are so many good ones Dishes in this extensive selection, if you have a bit of knowledge. TIP: Also note the days with special prices such as the schnitzel day or the “fish day” (Fr.) The fresh fish offers and the grilled pulp are particularly recommended! (both as a starter and as a main course), the fish duet from the menu, or the lamb and veal dishes. Conclusion: A wonderful, historic beer garden in a rustic atmosphere. Very tasty food with friendly service at a very acceptable price/performance ratio! Whenever - we look forward to coming back every time!

Fast service despite a good visit

A beautiful place, unfortunately the food absolutely cannot keep up. All dishes with minced meat are a bit tough. In my opinion, the portion and the quality are too small for this price. That's really a shame because you're sitting under a beautiful tree and expect more here.

We were invited there for my brother's birthday, the food was very good. We had salt-crusted fish, schnitzel and steak. Fish and steaks were portioned and flambéed at the table, which was pretty spectacular 😁

In summer you can sit wonderfully under ancient, gnarled linden trees. In the cool season it is a pleasure to dine in the beautifully renovated rooms. The menu is very extensive, so it's hard to decide. The service staff is quick and very attentive. The food is delicious.

We've been going there to eat for years. The quality is consistently good, the staff friendly and attentive. The very extensive menu offers something for every taste. The price/performance ratio is very good. We continue to be very satisfied regular customers of LINDE and invited our neighbors to dinner yesterday. The food was again excellent, and overall the guests were very complimentary about the large selection and the consistently consistent quality and good service. We are already looking forward to better weather and a visit to the very beautiful and cozy summer garden.

Stopped here for dinner after the bike tour, nice staff, nice beer garden (also very, very nice inside) and the food was large and the four of us really enjoyed it, it wasn't the last time. We will be back. Thanks to the whole Zur Linde team for the lovely evening with you Tom

Very nice staff... Very tasty food... Absolutely recommended. Update1: Unfortunately, the quality and taste of the food has decreased since my last visit. Too bad 😥 Update 2: Another try.. Anyone can have a bad day... Sorry, but the kitchen has gone a lot 😔😞 Update 3: Next try... The grill dishes are TOP 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. Schnitzel rather average. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, prices have increased. Update 4: As I said... Balkan dishes are my absolute favorite. This is what Oberursel tastes like. But unfortunately the schnitzels are still 'well'. Update 5: 2.2024 Unfortunately the salad bar no longer exists... What a shame 😪

Good day, we asked twice about reservations. This was also confirmed to us on the phone. Today we were greeted by a very unfriendly employee without a "greeting" literally left out in the rain and no reservation was displayed. I ordered a not particularly great salad with couscous. What I got was an inferior salad with a side of rice. There was no response to criticism. At the end we were complimented as other guests had reserved. Something like that is an absolute NOGO!!!!! and never in any other restaurant happened. We will strongly reconsider whether we still will come once, especially since we often were guests there. Need something so guest-unfriendly we are not. No, the situation is simply simple wrong of you. The one we reserved and promised Places were not available and that The restaurant was well attended

The reception was extremely friendly (with the door opening ;-)), the starter was unbeatable, the schnitzel with "green sauce" was a poem... If I were to be here again in the corner, there is only one place to stop off. I am very stunned! Many thanks to the waitress for the first-class hospitality, I've rarely seen such a friendly "new employee", it was a worthwhile experience

It was our first time there and definitely not the last time. The food was super tasty. Wednesdays are schnitzel day, absolutely recommended. Great meat, delicious sauces, the fries are crispy and taste like potatoes, the salad is crisp and fresh with a great dressing. Service very nice. Thanks for the nice evening and compliments to the kitchen!

I was here last time around 10 years ago with family before moving to Singapore. So wanted them to give another try. This was marvelous! We had a gilt headed bream fish (Dorade) and a mixed plate pola pola (half & half). The food was amazing! It was cooked perfectly, i felt like in former Yugoslavia. The service was wonderful as well: Attentive and not intrusive. He filleted the fish perfectly at the table, there were no bones left.I will come back soon, it's worth. If you are looking for fresh and great cooked food, here you are right. And the had Loza Rakija! That is the highest possible recommendation i ever give to a restaurant! Thank you for your service.

It was quite good, the service took a little long because of the food, but it was still very good except that you felt like you were ignored every second time. The food was very good and really well prepared 😊

The food was good, my food was a bit dry, there was no ajwar or a dip for me. I had a stuffed schnitzel with fried potatoes. Unfortunately, the service staff had probably reached their limits, even though the restaurant was not completely full (an ordered Fanta took three attempts to arrive).

The liver was hardly edible even in the improvement attempt. Paying extra for the side salad plus the enormously increased prices make it not easy to decide on the linden tree.

Sehr freundliches und ausgebildetes Personal. Die Tische sehr ordentlich eingedeckt. Eine tolle Fischauswahl. Absolut empfehlenswert. Wir konnten sogar ein Essen mitnehmen. Allerdings sollte man auf der Karte beachten, dass ein Gericht, das Lachs enthält, kein vegetarisches Gericht ist!

Wir waren heute dort zum Essen. Der Service war freundlich und flott. Unser Platz war zwar nicht so toll, aber das Lokal als solches ist schon sehr schön gemacht, das Ambiente wirkt gemütlich. Ich hatte Schweinelende mit Spätzle und Champignonrahmsoße. Die Portionen sind groß. Das Fleisch war super zart. Die Rahmsoße war fast schon Brei. Viel zu dick. Geschmacklich hätte ich mir auch mehr Mut zum würzen gewünscht.

Waren am 1.Weihnachtstag zum Mittagessen um 11 Uhr da. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich. Rund um Essen war alles i.o. , Super lecker , waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und zwei Kinder da. Kann man nur weiter empfehlen!!!!! Gegessen haben wir Bauernspiess, Schweinelende Diana, 3x Wiener Schnitzel und Rumpsteak. Von Familie D.Specht aus Köln und Familie Specht aus Oberursel.

Das Essen (Grillteller) war sehr gut. Auch die anderen könnten das bestätigen. Die Gans war jedoch Recht teuer, aber kein Problem ist nicht unbedingt mein Fall.

Ich war 2x essen, mittags und abends..Das Lokal ausgesprochen schön, die Kellner flott und freundlich. Das Essen hat mich nicht überzeugt, 1 x Gänsekeule (hatte ich schon bewertet) und zuletzt Pjeskavica mit Pommes Frites, hierbei fehlte die Würze, d.h. wir, 3 Personen, hatten mit Salz beides nachgewürzt. Trotz allem möchte und werde ich nochmal dorthin gehen und das Essen erneut probieren und werde hoffentlich nicht enttäuscht.

Super schön und gemütlich, allerdings viel zu eng stehende Tische. Können wir mit älteren und größeren Gruppen nicht mehr besuchen. Sehr schade, denn das Essen war sehr gut.

Hallo! Wir waren gestern mit der Familie hier essen und es war super! Ich habe Schnitzel mit Pommes gegessen, das Schnitzel war sehr lecker, jedoch waren die Pommes etwas weich und nicht wirklich knusprig. (Essen 4/5 Sterne) Die Bedienung war sehr nett und hilfsbereit Service. (5/5 Sterne) Die Atmosphäre war ganz okay. Es gab hübsche Dekoration, jedoch war es sehr laut. (Atmosphäre 4/5 Sterne)

Schade! Das jugoslawische Essen war recht wenig und schmeckte nach deutsche Küche.

Ich war schon öfters dort und bin immer wieder begeistert. Das Essen dort ist super und der Service ist auch nicht schlecht. Manchmal dauert es ein bisschen lange, bis man das Essen bekommt, aber das vergisst man schnell wieder, wenn man dort etwas isst. In Weißkirchen ist ein eins der besten Lokale und ich gehe gerne dort hin.

Toller Service, super Essen und das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis stimmt. Kleines Manko: Parkplätze sind abends rar.
