Unfortunately, the salad was forgotten despite requesting it, and there was no invoice due to the printer being broken. Unfortunately, there was no email either, as promised.

Nadine was very nice and the giant grilled prawns were amazing, as a hamburger I would have preferred them!!

We had dinner here on August 9th. The Wiener schnitzel and the one with salsa verde were good, the one with onions was excellent! 4 stars because the fried meat wasn't anything special. The cutlets were served with potatoes and salad, both good. Definitely recommended.

I've been told that the owners are new and the food isn't as good anymore. But I always like to see for myself. Unfortunately, it's true. It was the most expensive salad I've ever eaten, and it didn't taste particularly good either. It's the same menu, but the taste isn't as good. The service was nice, but you always had to call out to ask for something. Not very attentive to the customers. It's a shame.

A rustic inn in the center of Mörfelden with a large outdoor dining area. They serve a delicious variety of salads, among many other delicacies. Lunch (you can usually choose from three menus) is served promptly. The lunchtime staff are dedicated, prompt, and friendly. Unfortunately, card payments have not been accepted for some time; only cash is accepted.

Unfortunately, the service and food are getting worse and worse. It takes forever to get drinks. My spare ribs were as dry as the Nevada desert. I've never been there, but they sound good. Seriously, please get better.

The food is okay and the ambiance is pleasant. However, the service was unfortunately very slow. We had to wait forever for our drinks. There's definitely room for improvement here!

Great atmosphere. Great restaurant and courtyard. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has suffered quite a bit lately. The service has also been poor. Very long waits or people are on their phones. A no-go! It's a real shame about one of the last lovely beer gardens/restaurants in the old town. Hopefully, that will change soon.

We really enjoy eating here. The food is always fresh, we really enjoy it, and the salad is always delicious, too. The service is fast, polite, and attentive. There aren't many good restaurants in the area. The Golden Apfel is definitely very good! We especially liked the friendly, nice, and extremely dedicated intern. He was also very nice and provided really good service! Keep it up!

Starter with smaller portions but higher price! The communication is extremely poor. When asked if they could combine the regional specialties into an appetizer platter (a bit of everything), they were told the price was €18 – assuming, since no further information was provided, that this was the total price. Even when I asked again whether the price was €18, this was confirmed with a yes. Then, at the checkout, came the rude awakening: The main course and drink were predictable, but the starter was absolutely utopian. Even if you had ordered all the dishes individually and in full size, the average price would have been just over €15 per person. For €18, you got a platter with small portions and paid even more. Absolutely absurd, and from my perspective, both in terms of price and communication. This will probably be the last time I eat at this restaurant.

When we asked the staff, we were told the regional appetizer platter cost €18. When the bill came, it was suddenly €18 per person, which for four people came to €72, which is a completely unrealistic price for the platter. If you make a mistake, you should take responsibility and not let others pay for it. But no problem, we'll avoid this place in the future.

I liked it. Finding a parking space was difficult because I didn't recognize the sign pointing to the restaurant's private parking lot.

I come here almost every day, sometimes with customers from the Far East and Asia. The team is very attentive. Traditional food, and plenty of options for Generation Z: vegetarian or fresh and spicy. My personal favorite: salad with turkey breast and grilled feta cheese. Next comes the pepper schnitzel with creamy pepper sauce and green peppercorns. Waitress Sunny is very attentive and always offers the right thing, at exactly the right time. It's like everywhere else: be nice to people, and they'll be nice to you. High praise for the best restaurant in town.

We had a very tasty Frankfurter schnitzel. Dessert was also top-notch. We sat outside in a large group, so I can't say much about the atmosphere inside.

Great, rustic restaurant in Mörfelden with excellent regional cuisine. In addition to steaks, schnitzels, cordon bleu and Frankfurter Grie sauce, there were also various asparagus dishes and a handful of dishes of other origins. The beautiful beer garden for al fresco dining completes the ambience. We'd love to come back!

Nice outdoor area, but unfortunately, the quality of service and the food are declining. It used to work best when Jonas was on duty. Now they're letting the only professional employee go, and they're only employing temporary staff. Not good!

If you want to try real Frankfurt cuisine in an authentic setting, this is one of the best places in the city. The place is spacious, ideal for large groups, and in the summer there is a nice summer terrace. The staff is very friendly - they found us a table despite being fully booked, and I would especially like to mention our waitress for her attentive service. The food is delicious, the prices are quite reasonable, and the location is very good.

The food was very tasty, no semi-finished products, but quality food. It was a bit frustrating waiting for dessert for more than 40 minutes, which in the end didn't even come. However, the service was nice and offered me compensation in the form of a discount. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very lively, it can be seen that the restaurant is one of the favorites. I will definitely be happy to return in the future when visiting the city.

A very nice beer garden and restaurant in a historic half-timbered house in the heart of Mörfelden. The asparagus with boiled ham and ice cream with hot raspberries were delicious. Special thanks to the excellent service, especially Nicole. We'd be happy to come back.

Very nice place with a large outdoor area. I tried the famous Viennese schnitzel and was very satisfied. Good breading, fried well and not heavy at all. The fries are also excellent. Too bad that when it was time for dessert we were told that the kitchen was closed. No post payments. Quick but not very attentive service. Prices normal.

The lunch menu in particular promises good quality food at very fair prices. The menu is very tasty. This was our third time there and we will always come back. Good team!

The environment is very nice and there is plenty of seating. The staff is polite and friendly, the service quick and very attentive. The food is very good, we tried multiple specialties and were surprised, the cutlets are large in size and the portions are not in short supply. But let's get to the sore points... Even though we were at opening time and had asked for desserts, they were not served to us as the kitchen was closing, ok we were among the last tables of the evening but as long as the place is declared open, everything requested should be served. Upon payment we were denied the possibility of paying by card as they do not have a POS. It is understandable that German laws allow you to refuse credit card transactions but in 2025 it would be a plus to have it. If they used a little more care to satisfy the customer, I don't deny that I would return.

The waitress Nicole is extremely attentive, in a good mood and very on the ball. 👍 The ratio to a boiled potato and 3 pieces of fillet tip doesn't fit.

The food (beef liver, braised onions + fried potatoes or pepper cream schnitzel + fries - both with salad) was very tasty and was served quickly. The service is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a reservation for the indoor area, but because of the nice weather, we were able to easily move outside - to the quiet and beautifully landscaped Biegarten (although if we had come an hour later, it probably wouldn't have worked out, because the outdoor area filled up pretty quickly). Unfortunately, we weren't able to try the Kaiserschmarrn that we ordered for dessert. We ordered it with two cappuccinos and wanted everything served together. After a while the drinks arrived and the Kaiserschmarrn was promised to us shortly afterwards. When we asked again after 5 minutes, we were told that the oven was broken and due to time constraints, we "cancelled" the Kaiserschmarrn and paid. The cappuccino was on the house, probably due to the Kaiserschmarrn disaster. Conclusion: We will definitely eat there again because the price/performance ratio is right and the service was very friendly.

Delicious food and friendly service

Unfortunately our visit wasn't that enjoyable, we ordered our food and drinks at the same time. The starter was ready within 2 minutes, but unfortunately we had to wait another 5 minutes for the drinks. The salads also came extremely quickly and of course the main course didn't take long to arrive - the whole thing went through in 13 minutes. The quality of the food left a lot to be desired - all dishes were unseasoned. Instead of a Viennese-style schnitzel, turkey was served; the fried potatoes were so dry that you got the feeling that they had been warmed up in the deep fryer. The baked potato was already translucent, but the quark was very simple. There was little response to our complaint, but the gossip behind the counter was easy to understand. You just noticed that the kitchen wanted to go home, even though we were there during regular opening hours. A positive thing to mention is that we were given the Wiener Schnitzel to go. As we were leaving the restaurant we heard the waitress talking loudly: “As long as the service was good, she doesn't give a damn about the kitchen”. There was also no farewell to the service staff. You could rather get the feeling that they were happy that we left. Our conclusion: great location, service OK, kitchen worth improving. There are much better German restaurants.

Unfortunately for me it was a complete disappointment. The side salad barely had any dressing. The schnitzel is large but flat and tastes rather average. Lovely some fries with sauce on the plate. The wine is more bitter than dry, nothing special. Dessert.... Oh well.

5 stars are the minimum here! Cozy atmosphere, the food is super tasty and lots of it, no one leaves here hungry. Our waitress, Nicol, was really awesome, I think she could read minds ;o) Didn't have to wait long, the price was almost unbeatable, it's worth a further journey here. Come again!

Parking situation a bit difficult, better to park at the Sparkasse opposite. Reservation essential. Food and wine very good. My recommendation is the Frankfurter Schnitzel. Service fits

We had our winter party (catch-up Christmas party) with the company on Friday with 70 people. The food (buffet) was delicious, very sufficient, the service was quick and friendly - almost all colleagues were impressed, including by the rustic, cozy atmosphere. Everything also worked well organizationally. Actually everything was just as great as I've experienced before when I celebrated here privately - and everything at a really good price-performance ratio. That's why dear Golden Apple team - stay as you are - keep it up and a big THANK YOU from all Spectron employees (f/f) for the lovely evening -)

The food, service and ambience leave nothing to be desired. It's relatively quick, the waiters are all super friendly and the atmosphere is old German but very clean and cozy :) I love coming here.

I was there again recently. I ordered a schnitzel. The schnitzel was very thin and consisted almost entirely of breading. I have nothing against price increases, but please do so clearly and not in the form of a schnitzel that you can roll up. The green sauce came in a small bowl that barely held 2 tablespoons. The side salad was very fresh and the dressing tasted very good. The staff is super friendly and on the ball.
