I don't understand all the 5-star reviews. Where else do all the reviewers go to eat? While it wasn't terrible, it was by no means a good dinner. The schnitzel: Apparently the focal point of the menu. The schnitzels are simply too thin and therefore far too crispy because there is significantly more breading than meat. A classic schnitzel should still have its own taste of meat, right? Estimating a price of just under €20 for this is already steep. 1 STAR The (ready-made) sauce: Without words! Lumpy and bland in taste. A finished product from Selgros that you just mix with water. 1 STAR The meat platter: I like going to that “Yugoslavs” and treat myself to a meat platter. The owner's name suggests that he also comes from the former Yugoslavia and that he wants to emulate his colleagues. The meat platter was “okay”. It felt like everything had been fried at the same time and for the same amount of time. The spareribs were cold. The bottom line is that it's better than the porous schnitzel, but the taste is still far away from a good meat platter at the Croatian around the corner. 3 STARS The service: Young, friendly team. Still a bit inexperienced and unstructured, but everyone starts small. We had to remind them several times about the drinks we ordered and the food was also delivered incorrectly. Towards the end we were a bit annoyed, but that quickly went away thanks to empathy. 3.5 STARS Ambiance: Sterile like in a hospital, bright lights, bright tables. Comfortable is different. Restaurant kept very open, a small train station feeling. What we noticed: The door to the kitchen was open to everyone. There are always different people coming into the kitchen who weren't part of the staff that night. You could see in quite well from our table and it was a bit questionable for us what it was like to go into the kitchen on a Monday evening for different people who weren't working that evening. Certainly an alternative for a “gorilla meal” among friends or a men’s evening. However, if you place a little more value on quality and taste, you are definitely out of place here - with a little gastronomic experience.

Very great restaurant: very large portions, delicious food and absolutely fair prices. Dear staff, even if the whole restaurant is full. Absolutely recommended, we would love to come back.

Food and service were very good. Even though we were with a large group, we received our food at the same time. The menu offers something for every schnitzel fan, otherwise I recommend the XXL house platter.

I've been there often and have always been completely satisfied with the food. The only thing that isn't nice is when you're with several people and everyone pays for themselves, you have to pay at the counter. It would take too long at the table. A queue formed here like at Aldi.

The shop is ideal for schnitzels of all types and sizes. The concept here is designed for groups and young people. A lot on your plate and “small” money 💰, that’s how it is here.

We've been there twice now. We had reserved in advance, which is recommended as it is always quite full there. The ambience is ok. Unfortunately, the drinks glasses weren't exactly the cleanest. Edges and sprinkles from something outside. Otherwise it was a shame that the dessert had spray cream on it. But otherwise the staff was very friendly and the order was delivered quickly despite the fact that it was relatively full. Special requests were also taken into account. If you like schnitzel there is a large selection of different types. We enjoyed it. The price/performance ratio is good even if the prices have been adjusted to the current situation.

Schnitzel Cordon Bleu not recommended. A real fat bomb (the oil was either not squeezed out properly after frying or the schnitzel was out of the deep fryer) and the ham is of a cheap variety. The service could be a little more customer-oriented and professional.

Schnitzel was okay, fried potatoes unfortunately only lukewarm, the service was very good and quick, someone came to the table several times and asked if there was anything else.

Unassuming from the outside, but we were totally blown away by the service and everything. Charging station in front of the door, super friendly service (we haven't experienced that in North Rhine-Westphalia for a long time), the food was good, the price-performance ratio was amazing. We were there again today We ate red and white and were not disappointed again. The service was A1 and the food was super tasty. I don't miss the shrimp salad and the schnitzels are always great! UPDATE: Because of an invitation, I ended up here again. Because of the bad experiences so far, I decided not to eat schnitzel and chose a salad, also because it was one of the few dishes on the menu that was not marked with the addition of flavor enhancers (so much for "finished products"). Unfortunately That also went wrong. It started with the other guests' side salads, one of which contained a beetle, the other a large piece of plastic, and grains of sand, which indicated that the salad had neither been washed nor sorted, which then also became clear with the salads for the main course . On my salad plate was the stalk of an onion, mealy tomatoes and lettuce leaves with brown spots. After the two side salads were previously criticized, it can be described as provocative to release something like that again. Another person at the table couldn't even eat the salad she had as her main course because she was fed up with the wilted leaves, the mealy tomatoes and the dry addition of grated carrots and cabbage. In addition, one of the three waitresses who were responsible for us behaved very rudely and unprofessionally; It is definitely not appropriate to put down another waitress, who is probably just being trained, in front of the guests. And drinking carbonated water from flower vases without a cap isn't quite as "sparkling" either. I also find it interesting that the snappy answer to my last review stated that none of the sauces were a finished product, another guest also expressed this assumption in his review and the answer he received was that it was not possible to work without finished products and to cook the sauces fresh. A rogue who thinks evil!

Arrive at 18:00 on May 22, 2024 Located in Walldorf, Germany Soccer clubhouse restaurant A restaurant with indoor terrace seating filled with sunlight I had the pork cutlet course, a local German dish. The crispy batter, cheese, and tomato sauce are delicious, and the beer goes well. The garnished croquettes and stir-fried vegetables are also delicious.

Nice ambience, service very friendly... now for the not so nice review... the meat schnitzel was ok, but the breading was very bad, the schnitzel only tasted like old fat oil... we all had normal size schnitzel no xxl that's more than enough....at the end when we were all at home we just stank of fries...I also had a slight stomach ache but it didn't have to be the schnitzel.... For me and my family it was also the first and last visit to the Gasthaus Rot Weiss XXL

Super friendly staff, were very enthusiastic about the food and it was very cozy there. It was our first time there and we were surprised and thrilled by the selection of schnitzels and the size of the schnitzels. Definitely we'll come back. Keep it up, you are a top team. Delicious and really big schnitzel 🤤 The potatoes were tasty as well. They have many options for the schnitzel that is hard to decide. All options look so good.

Ambiance is great.. Staff very friendly, the food is ok had cordon bleu with fried potatoes with bacon and onions, well I only got a small strip of the bacon and the onions were more.. unfortunately too expensive for about 20 euros especially if there was no bacon in it because fried potatoes are. My wife liked it and had garlic schnitzel which was also ok but my wife thought it was a garlic sauce gratinated with cheese but unfortunately it wasn't the product.. whether we had specifically asked if it was sauce the waitress said yes.. will definitely do it again come as we give every restaurant a second chance... to do better a portion of fried potatoes is more than just half a handful and it has to be bacon and onions... not just one or two strips.

I thought the schnitzels were great so far. However, the broccoli schnitzel doesn't taste that tasty because there was this bag of sauce on top, which tastes extremely cheap. Everything else was great. The fries are awesome.

I've always had schnitzel - they come in a huge selection and are simply delicious Whether senior, normal or XXL portion, everyone will find what they like here Conclusion - if you haven't been here yet, you definitely have to do so. When we are in FRA from HH we stop there at least once. So far everything has always tasted good and the portions are sufficient and the value for money is also right. You should make reservations, it might not work out spontaneously
