Ich gehe super gern dort zum Schnitzel essen hin. Preis-Leistung ist echt top und die Auswahl ist richtig gut. Die Bedienungen sind auch immer super freundlich.

Das Gasthaus hat einen Imbisswagen, mit dem sie im Merckstadion Am Böllenfalltor bei Heimspielen der Lilien Burger und Pommes verkaufen. Die Burger und Pommes sind in der Regel wirklich sehr gut jedoch auch sehr teuer. Bisher waren sie wirklich immer in sehr guter Qualität. Bei einem der letzten Heimspiele War das Wetter jedoch sehr feucht und Die Brötchen der Burger waren qualitativ minderwertig. ich habe mich beschwert und Feedback bekommen. Man sieht ein, dass man etwas ändern muss. Zu einer Wiedergutmachung war man leider nicht bereit. Sehr schade bei diesem Preis.

Leute, wenn ihr gut essen wollt dann geht dort hin. XXL Portionen die aber auch noch richtig gut schmecken und das zu fairen Preisen! Ich war echt überrascht was für tolle Schnitzel es dort gibt, in den verschiedensten Variationen. Von mir definitiv eine klare Empfehlung und den schnellsten Service den ich je erlebt habe. Nach gefühlt 2 Minuten waren die Getränke am Tisch und nach weiteren 3 Minuten der Salat der zum Schnitzel gehört. Die Hauptspeise kam ca. 15 Minuten später 👍 Super Restaurant, ich komme gerne wieder, weiter so!

Also, ich war gestern sowie heute dort. BOOOOMBE! Alles hat gepasst, wirklich alles. Wahnsinn. Ichndacl

Der Name ist Programm! Wer Hunger hat, ist im Gasthaus Rot Weiss XXL genau richtig. Das Essen schmeckt fantastisch und die Portionen sind wirklich großzügig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der freundliche Service, der trotz der gut besuchten Tische immer ein Lächeln parat hatte. 5 verdiente Sterne!

Das Essen ist mega für Fleischesser. Als Vegetarier hätte ich gerne ein paar mehr Angebote. Draußen ist es mega schön , drinnen könnte es ein wenig gemütlicher sein . Diese Bänke sind nicht so schön

Ist supi dort, vorallem die Kitty dort ist eine sehr nette Servicekraft.

Ein einzigartiges Lokal, gut geführt und immer gut besucht. Essen und Service sind gut, die Fotos werden dem Ganzen nicht gerecht. Die Portionen sind riesig. Ich kam hungrig und bestellte ein „normales“ Rot-Weiß-Schnitzel, das ich nicht einmal aufessen konnte! Das „XXL“ war mehr als doppelt so groß … also Vorsicht bei der Bestellung!

Ultra große Schnitzel, guter Salat, aber die Bratkartoffeln sind aus der Fritteuse. Das Personal ist nett und nahm meine Kritik freundlich an. Gemütliches Vereinslokal.

Zum ersten mal hier gewesen. Glück gehabt und nochen Platz zu zweit bekommen. Atmosphäre gut. Bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten. Nicht zu laut , allerdings war es auch noch nicht kpl. besetzt. Am Wochenende sollte man unbedingt reservieren. Bedienung sehr nett und freundlich. Essen kam zügig und war lecker. Schnitzel Wiener Art , heiß serviert👍angenehmer Geschmack , gebackener Camembert war super. Wir kommen wieder 😊um auch andere Gerichte zu probieren!

The food is typical of an inn, a lot of it is fried, tastes good. The staff is a bit unruly and not attentive. In any case - schnitzel lovers have a wide choice here.

Wir waren diverse Male dort. Man sitzt drinnen und draußen sehr schön. Es ist immer alles einwandfrei, von der Bedienung bis zum Essen und dem gemütlichen Absacker.

Es ist ein Vereinslokal, deshalb ist das Ambiente nicht ganz so schick. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Schnitzel sind riesig und schmeckt gut.

Einfach klasse, Essen ist super lecker und Saftig und XXL ist nicht nur XXL sonder auch Saftig!!! Habe meine Mitarbeiter zum Jahresabschluss Essen eingeladen und jeder war sehr zufrieden Alle Gerichte waren Super Lecker!!! Und der Gedeckte Apfelkuchen war der krönende Abschluss Ich komme wieder!!!!

Ich hatte ein tolles Erlebnis im Gasthaus Rot Weiss XXL. Das Italiaschnitzel war einfach fantastisch – knusprig, geschmackvoll und perfekt zubereitet. Auch der Service war exzellent; die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir waren dort mit unserem Verein zur Weihnachtsfeier. Sehr schöner Raum, tolles Ambiente, weihnachtlich dekoriert, aufmerksamer Service, und das Essen...einfach Klasse!!! Vielseitig, schmackhaft, reichlich. Wirklich toll. Wir machen unsere nächste Feier wieder dort.

We've been coming here for ages, and the food is always a real treat. Always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great.

I've been there three times now, and the food has always tasted delicious 😋.

The side dishes, like fries or fried potatoes, were tiny. The schnitzel wasn't crispy, unfortunately, but soft, as if it had been sitting around for a while. The staff didn't notice that half the portion was returned to the kitchen untouched. Perhaps they're used to it. I would have appreciated more attention from the staff. Not a very successful visit.

Delicious schnitzel in many different variations and three different sizes. XXL here really means XXL. Of course, besides schnitzel, they also have other tasty dishes. I always enjoy coming here, and it's always absolutely delicious! 👍

This has become our regular spot for XXL schnitzel. The restaurant boasts a wide selection of food. All the dishes were excellent and absolutely delicious. We were served by the attentive and courteous Kitty. We'll definitely be back. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Regular schnitzel is only manageable for big eaters. I had the garlic schnitzel and was really satisfied.

The quality of the meat wasn't convincing, and the piece of cake wasn't quite fresh. It was a bit noisy, but the team was very friendly.

The spiciness of the garlic chili peppers is too strong for my liking, resulting in a runny nose. The salad and the garlic schnitzel are a flavorful side dish.

Although the ambiance of the restaurant is quite good, both the service and the quality of the food leave a lot to be desired for the price. The schnitzel tastes of nothing but breadcrumbs and fat! It's not particularly difficult to find a better schnitzel! The service staff was overwhelmed. In conclusion, the restaurant simply cannot be recommended, even though there are many alternatives in the area.

The heating was out, and it was quite chilly in the restaurant. Furthermore, the kitchen didn't take the order properly... Sauces were delivered very late, and the food was already quite cold. Otherwise, the food was delicious, as always 👍

The food was worthy of a sports club and really good, too. The ice cream for dessert came with various free ice crystals from the refrigerator 😉 And the waiters were a bit overwhelmed, even though only the indoor dining area was open and not fully booked, but otherwise really nice. For the price, everything was really okay, and the schnitzel was really good and quite large. The spare ribs we ordered weren't very popular. They were simply served dry on the plate. There's a sauce with it, but the otherwise tasty meat seems to have become very dry due to being stored separately.

Fantastic value for money meets good taste, served quickly and friendly in the atmosphere of a local club. A clear recommendation: go fast, good, and cheap.

The reserved table had already been taken, so things got off to a bad start. Then we had to wait a long time for drinks and even longer for the food. And then they asked what the others had ordered because they only brought food for three, but there were five of us. Even after dinner, the nightcap took a long time. The feta cheese on my Greek schnitzel was thicker than the schnitzel, which was way too much for me. In the end, no one took any of it. The one thing that was well-received was the steak; it was amazing.

A delightful spot for authentic schnitzels! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Service is quick, and prices are reasonable. By the way... They have so many variations... Just to mention some pineapple schnitzel, broccoli schnitzel, chef schnitzel, cordon bleu chili cheese schnitzel... The list is huge and... Delicious... The picture attached is the smallest one (for seniors), the next size is normal and for sure... Also in XXL format... A delightful place for authentic schnitzels! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The service is quick, and the prices are reasonable.

We celebrated our 30th anniversary with 75 people and enlisted the help of Gasthaus Rot Weiss XXL: We booked two food trucks for our event. The food was fantastic: varied, fresh, and expertly prepared, so everyone found something to suit their taste. Drinks were in full supply and catered to all tastes. The staff was extremely friendly, competent, and helpful. Everything ran smoothly, so there were no waits and everyone was served immediately according to their wishes. Even spontaneous requests for changes were handled with ease. The collaboration was exceptionally pleasant and reliable. Setup and teardown also went smoothly and without any problems. Overall, it was an outstanding food truck experience with first-class service, delicious food, and matching drinks – a wonderful choice for our celebration. We would definitely use you again, thank you very much!

We happened upon this place by chance while passing through. What a stroke of luck! The food was delicious. I was a bit skeptical at first, because the giant schnitzels at other guesthouses are often beaten to death, dry, and more like breading than schnitzel – but here everything was wonderful, the schnitzels were beautifully juicy! But even the regular portions are huge! The service was very friendly and fast...what more could you want? 1000x better than some fast-food joint on the highway! Service

The schnitzel selection is truly amazing, and the portions are more than generous. Definitely recommended for anyone who enjoys good, large, and unique schnitzels.

The staff was very unfriendly. We had to wait over 60 minutes for our food. In the end, the food arrived lukewarm to cold. We will definitely not spend another evening here.

We've been here at least 10 times. So far, the service and food have always been excellent. Today, July 9, 2025, the new staff is completely out of the question! We waited over 30 minutes for our food. Then the XXL schnitzel was still wrong. We spoke to the waitress, who was still annoyed because she had taken the order incorrectly. Another 20 minutes after the complaint, there's still no new schnitzel at the table. We ordered the garlic schnitzel. I got a completely burnt chili cheese schnitzel. Service is a desert in Germany!!! No apology, no drink on the house! I'm looking forward to your feedback!!!

The staff is really friendly. The salads have gone down a lot. They're not fresh, which isn't good. The tables weren't wiped down and were dirty. The schnitzels are good, though, depending on what kind you order. Everything could be fresher and hotter. Then it would be great.

I've rarely had such a large selection of schnitzels. The food tastes very good and is really well-priced. If you can't get full from these portion sizes, the only thing that will help is a stomach slit. We liked it so much that we came back two days in a row. We highly recommend it.

If you want to eat something really tasty, plentiful, and good, you can definitely do it here! The XXL restaurant offers a variety of schnitzel variations with pork, turkey, or vegetable wedges. If you choose the wrong size, you can pack the rest to take home. The selection of drinks also leaves nothing to be desired. However, it is recommended to reserve a table in advance, as it is often very busy and, depending on the time of day, it is rare to get a table with more than two people.

This is our second visit. We made a reservation in advance, which is recommended since it's always quite busy. The atmosphere is okay. Unfortunately, the drink glasses weren't exactly clean. They had rims and flecks from something on the outside. It was also a shame that the dessert had whipped cream on it. But otherwise, the staff was very friendly, and our orders were delivered quickly despite the relatively busy place. Special requests were also accommodated. If you like schnitzel, there's a large selection of different varieties. We enjoyed it. The price/performance ratio is good, even though the prices have been adjusted to reflect the current situation.

The two of us came spontaneously with strollers today on Mother's Day. We were put off by the fact that there were no more seats because everything was reserved. So we ordered take out. I actually wanted to avoid it. Then 5 people came in spontaneously without a reservation (we could overhear the conversation) while my husband was waiting for our food. These were of course placed. My husband was then looked at expectantly when he collected the money and didn't enter the amount because they were hoping for a tip. In principle, we always tip, especially when the service is good. Well this time there was none. It should probably be clear why. I can't say whether the stroller (baby) was unwanted or whether the employee just didn't want to be with us. However, we won't be coming back any time soon and will now eat our now wobbly fries on the 5 minute walk home. Too bad. Portions are large, ambience is quite nice. Addendum in response: Yeah right. My husband was offered the table after one employee got in trouble from the other because we were there first. It is completely understandable that a restaurant is full and you may have to wait for a table. If we had been told that we could wait for the next table, we would have done so. When we ordered takeaway at the counter, I asked a second time whether we could get a table straight away, to which the only answer was: No, they are all reserved. And my husband certainly didn't get the impression that he was waiting for a tip when he paid. But your reaction to my review is absolutely defensive, as you can see.

I don't understand all the 5-star reviews. Where else do all the reviewers go to eat? While it wasn't terrible, it was by no means a good dinner. The schnitzel: Apparently the focal point of the menu. The schnitzels are simply too thin and therefore far too crispy, because there is significantly more breading than meat. A classic schnitzel should still have its own taste of meat, right? To estimate a price of just under €20 for this is already steep. 1 STAR The (ready-made) sauce: Without words! Lumpy and bland in taste. A finished product from Selgros that you just mix with water. 1 STAR The meat platter: I like going to that “Yugoslavs” and treat myself to a meat platter. The owner's name suggests that he also comes from the former Yugoslavia and that he wants to emulate his colleagues. The meat platter was “okay”. It felt like you had fried everything at the same time and for the same amount of time. The spareribs were cold. The bottom line is that it's better than the porous schnitzel, but the taste is still a long way from a good meat platter at the Croatian around the corner. 3 STARS The service: Young, friendly team. Still a bit inexperienced and unstructured, but everyone starts small. We had to remind them several times about the drinks we ordered and the food was also delivered incorrectly. Towards the end we were a bit annoyed, but that quickly went away thanks to empathy. 3.5 STARS Ambiance: Sterile like in a hospital, bright lights, bright tables. Comfortable is different. Restaurant kept very open, a small train station feeling. What we noticed: The door to the kitchen was open to everyone. There are always different people coming into the kitchen who weren't part of the staff that night. You could see in quite well from our table and it was a bit questionable for us what it was like to go into the kitchen on a Monday evening for different people who weren't working that evening. Certainly an alternative for a “gorilla meal” among friends or a men’s evening. However, if you place a little more value on quality and taste, you are definitely out of place here - with a little gastronomic experience.
