I can only recommend lunch. Very good home cooking that can be shown off. Any time. Price was also very fair. Service friendly and on point.

Good down-to-earth German cuisine. The breaded hand cheese was delicious. The sauerbraten is nice and tender, the schnitzel is nice and crispy and the liver is tender. Price/performance is fair, gladly again.

Mega delicious 😋 Hessian cuisine. I had breaded hand cheese as a starter (unfortunately no photo because I was so hungry 😂). Super tasty 🤤 For the main course, the knuckle came popping onto the table (Wow). The veal schnitzel, braised in apple cider, was delicately pink inside. (Perfect) In winter I love the warm, wood-heated fireplace in the main room!!! Great warmth. The service was super attentive and very accommodating! Thank you 🤩

Update December 2024: Great Christmas dinner. Very tender goose breast with red cabbage and Brussels sprouts, with dumplings, chestnuts and sauce. The portion was quite large and extremely tasty. The sauerbraten that my wife had was also very good. And you rarely find it in restaurants. Highly recommended 6 years ago: Good German restaurant with a typical German menu and seasonal offers. Depending on the season there is also game or other things. We have been there several times and were quite satisfied. But it also happened that the meat on the skewer was quite tough or the fried potatoes were not fried properly. But that can happen when it's full.

Hello, first of all thank you for the good food, everything was fine. When paying, I chose with a card, held my card to it and then placed the device on the table or on the tray. The waitress, an older lady, perhaps got upset, not on the tray, you know that, she said, I said I didn't know that otherwise I wouldn't have done it. Then she just said rudely, now they know. I thought that was a disgrace, I was at a loss for words. Embarrassing a customer like that?

We had a really delicious meal. All 5 dishes were very good. Service perfect. All in all, a pub that we can more than recommend.

Fast friendly service. Decent food with good value for money. Of course not top cuisine. My matjes was good. Handkäs mit Musik didn't taste like pickled cheese and was still curdy - I've had better experiences in the area.

Good German restaurant. Good home-style menu. Steaks are also offered. Good lunch with delicious food. Since the restaurant was quite full, it was almost too tight for the lunch break. The beer garden is very inviting, unfortunately it rained today. We'll come back on a sunny day. Thanks.

Lovely service and ample portions of fresh and tasty food surprised us in this place, away from the tourist hot spots around Frankfurt. We had Spargel with veal, which was buttery and perfectly cooked. The chicken salad was also generously portioned and fresh. The beer from the tap was maybe 3 degrees warmer than I like it but we drink our beers ice cold in Australia, so maybe it's how beer is served here.

Terrible beer! Dirty glasses, volume mismatch, I waited a long time for my order. I really don't recommend it!!! The service is good, the only thing I can thank the establishment for.

The beef broth was definitely a finished product. The sauce from the Försterinen Schnitzel was mixed with “canned mushrooms” and wasn’t seasoned enough. The fried potatoes are only fried on one side or even raw. The salad is too vinegary. The steak was okay, but I think €3.80 for fried onions and/or €2 for a piece of herb butter is very excessive!!! The inn itself has water stains everywhere on the ceiling. Dusting and watering flowers should not be done during opening hours. All in all we are "Very Disappointed" especially at TODAY's prices. We won't go there again. Good bourgeois is something different for me, I'd rather go to Mörfelden to the "Golden Apfel" or "Zum Schützenhof" because I know what I'm getting for my money.

That in this day and age? I would like to receive a voucher, I would pay by bank transfer beforehand or via PayPal. No, that doesn't work! How flexible is such a modern guesthouse? A bitter disappointment for me and the friends in Mörfelden who would have received this big voucher. Of course, I will never go there to eat when I'm in Mörfelden Walldorf again

A Hessian inn with all the trimmings, we had 7 different dishes and two desserts and everything was tasty, so a thumbs up! The ambience is time for some sprucing up, but it's about the food 😎 and also about the service, both impeccable!

We called shortly beforehand and were lucky enough to be able to come straight away. There is smoked apple trout and here too we were lucky that this was in stock without having to order in advance. It was some of the best trout I've ever eaten. The house beer is Büble beer, very tasty. I'm looking forward to when the beer garden opens. Next time we will try different prices. I will report.

Never again, the waitress has no change and instead of waiving 30 cents, tries to ask for a tip of over €4. I'm happy to give a tip, but I react allergically to the statement: "How much can I give out?" It was also the worst schnitzel I've eaten recently.

Authentische Speisen in einem gemütlichen Ambiente. Das von mir bestellte Frankfurter Schnitzel war das zarteste das ich jemals serviert bekommen habe. Der Service war ebenfalls stets aufmerksam und freundlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Mittagskarte zu sehr fairen Preisen. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Wir waren mit Freunden zum Essen seit langen mal wieder dort. Essen war gut Bedienung unfreundlich. Dann der total Reinfall Essen zum abholen als ich es abholte stand es in einer Kiste im Lokal Soße war im Trinkbecher als ich zuhause ankam Essen total Kalt Bratkartoffeln verbrannt. Das wars mit dem Lokal. Bei den Preisen müsste es besser gehen.

Wir hatten uns mit den Schulkameraden gestern verabredet. Ich war sehr zufrieden. Da ich ja in Nauheim wohne kannte ich diese Gaststätte nicht und habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich werde diese auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Hat leider empfindlich nachgelassen. Die Qualität des Essens hat nachgelassen. Am Service mangelt es auch. Hatte essen vorbestellt, wurde aber erst auf Erinnerung serviert Fairerweise muss man sagen, bei voller Auslastung - wie Freitag mittag, ist das anwesende Personal überfordert. Ich hoffe dies bleibt eine Moment Aufnahme. Wäre dem Wirtshaus zu wuenschen, denn war früher eine tolle Alternative um gut und Preis wert mittags zu Speisen. Daher : bitte nachbessern !

Wir kannten das Restaurant noch von vor Corona und waren begeistert und haben uns dirt immer sehr wohl gefühlt. Doch jetzt nach Corona waren wir sehr enttäuscht von der Art und Weise wie wir dort behandelt wurden. Wir haben ewig auf das essen gewartet. Andere Gäste wurden vor uns bedihnt und sind auch vor uns gegangen bevor wir essen bekommen haben. Es wurden uns Speisen zu viel berechnet und die Bedienung war unfreundlich. Wir haben uns richtig unwohl gefühlt. Das essen schmeckt gut doch da gibt es auch andere Restaurants wo der Service auch freundlich zu seinen Gästen sein kann. Wir werden nicht mehr dort hin gehen.
