You feel like you're in the "good old days" and the very friendly service is also great, so the ambience gets full marks. I can say the same about the schnitzels, which are very tasty and prepared like grandma's times. This is exactly how good, middle-class German cuisine should be!!!!

Good and a lot, great value for money

I would like to describe the Luley Hotel Restaurant as an inn in the classic sense... This quality of hospitality offered here has now become rare. Real tasty German cuisine without unnecessary frills is offered here. (If you're looking for yellow-beaked Tibetan orchid chicken with caviar rice with wasabi filling, you've really come to the wrong place) My conclusion.. The food is tasty rich and more than adequately portioned. At lunchtime there are 2 choices of tribal food. The staff is friendly and prompt. In summer there is the opportunity to sit in the beer garden. I would like to recommend a table reservation by phone to save the busy staff from having to rush.

We had the cream schnitzel with spaetzle, unfortunately the spaetzle were completely overcooked, the sauce was a finished product in my opinion, but at a price of €9.50 you can't expect more. The best was the salad.

Long-established restaurant with a special charm (generations have sat on these chairs). It's very comfortable to sit in the beer garden with the big trees, but in the summer you don't see much of the main street. The people who work there are very close to the guests, super friendly and quick. Many have been going there for ages. Anyone who likes that kind of thing will feel at home in a second...

The food can be easily described as bourgeois. We've enjoyed everything so far.

The restaurant has many positive reviews, which I unfortunately cannot understand and unfortunately can mislead people like my wife and me. In our opinion, neither the food nor the ambience were good, there is no reason for us to come back and we are very disappointed. I had a cordon bleu with fries and salad for 12.90 or so, which is of course very cheap. My wife had a schnitzel. The breading on the schnitzel fell off and looked dirty, as if several schnitzels had been fried in the same fat, which is a no-go for good quality in a restaurant. The meat was really very thick and there were lots of rubbery fat spots, which you don't necessarily want. I'm Swabian and grew up with schnitzel and gravy and wouldn't describe what's on offer there as schnitzel. It just doesn't meet the minimum requirements. When I was brought a brown gravy at my personal request, but it tasted like chicken stock and was completely orange, the evening was over for me. I will never come there again. Suggestion for improvement: Leave the salad out of the schnitzel menu. Make everything €2 more expensive and work on better quality, maybe with a regional butcher or something. And renovate or paint the beer garden and buy new, uniform tables. PS: you don't drink Pilsner with your schnitzel. Even if you like it, you just have to change your attitude here. It would be nice if there was a light wheat beer, a Zwickel or a Märzen on tap. If that happens, I'll be happy to come back

Wie immer: Getränke ratzfatz auf dem Tisch, die Speisen superlecker, die Servicemädels immer mit einem lockeren Spruch und sehr aufmerksam ! Wir hatten im Garten gebucht, wobei uns der späte Regen nach innen trieb - was soll ich sagen: Obwohl drinnen ebenfalls reserviert war, bekamen wir für den ganzen Abend einen Topplatz - nochmals Danke hierfür !!! Und man ahnt es schon: Zu meinem Geburtstag bekam ich einen großzügigen Gutschein für einen weiter Abend beim "Luley" ! Ich freue mich drauf !!!

Very tasty at really good prices.

We were lucky to be there on Monday around 6:00 p.m. Daring! With a lot of luck we were able to get one of the last free tables for two people. Now we know why: Delicious food and really lovely staff. My grandpa would have said: If only my hump was also a stomach! And not only that, many orders were picked up for home. We would like to come again. Thank you very much, we liked it so much.

Food from the assembly line... That seems to be exactly the program here. But before taking a closer look at the food, first take a closer look at the positive aspects: The atmosphere is very rustic, which is initially a very positive thing. The service is very nice and accommodating. There are parking spaces directly at the house. Unfortunately, these are very limited. Now to the food: We had mushroom cream schnitzel with fries and salad, gypsy schnitzel (yes it says that on the menu) with fries and salad and a daily menu roulade with dumplings and salad and first of all a soup. According to the statement, the soup was good and homemade. At first glance, the salads seemed diverse and fresh. But only at first glance. Because disillusionment quickly set in. Except for cucumber salad and coleslaw, the salads were all canned salads that were carelessly slapped onto the plate. The leaf lettuce didn't really see any dressing either. Canned salads may be fine for those who are lazy about cooking quickly at home, but as a restaurateur with fresh ingredients on your doorstep you shouldn't allow yourself to do something like that. Now let's first come to the best of the 3 dishes: the mushroom cream schnitzel. The portion size was very manageable. There was no sign of the large portions so praised. The schnitzel was very thin and very tough in places. The roulade was also very small and overloaded with filling, so the weight of the meat was less than the filling. The sauce was lukewarm to cold and the dumplings had probably never seen salt water. Apparently you can't make dumplings in Hesse, even though it's actually a very simple thing. The biggest disaster was the gypsy schnitzel. Apparently people at Luley don't know what the ingredients of a so-called schnitzel are: pureed tomatoes, chili sauce, pepperoni, peppers and onions. This is what a real gypsy schnitzel should be like. A drained canned Puszta salad was served, far dry and sour, spread over a child's shoe sole called schnitzel that had been fried to death. It's a complete impudence to serve such kitchen waste on a schnitzel. The portion size is also significantly too small, but fortunately only so small due to its inedibility. I often felt the urge to vomit because of the disgusting taste of the pad. I've never been served such food before. Conclusion: once and never again. It's a shame, because the atmosphere is really nice. I don't understand the reviews here at all. Either people only eat ready-made food and are no longer used to real home cooking or they feel obligated. Because there was no sign of the delicious food on offer. A pork schnitzel that had to die twice, a cold roulade and canned salad. In view of this, the prices are clearly too expensive because they are below canteen level.

We were invited here by friends for lunch. All I can say is the food was great. We recommend the grill plate with beef fillet and pork fillet with vegetables, croquettes and fries as a starter and a side salad is included. My wife had a natural veal schnitzel with chanterelles. I can also recommend it. There is also a nice beer garden where you can sit very well. If you plan to come here you should reserve well in advance. We will definitely be back and kudos to the staff and chef who are always on top of their game.

The restaurant is a bit outdated, but the service was great, the food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was great. The ambience doesn't bother you at all ;) We'll definitely be back. I still dream about the rump steak with pepper sauce today! :)

We fly specially from Frankfurt so that we can eat at Luley's. Very, very tasty, you feel good. If you like to eat rump steak and beef fillet, it is fried to perfection, highly recommended. Please always order a table in advance, always very busy.

Since we haven't been living here for very long, we tried it out and actually came in on Sunday at 5 p.m. sharp and were able to get the last table. Be sure to reserve in advance! The selection of food is great and the prices are more than affordable. The quality is also good, we enjoyed it very much! The service is unbeatable. So much attention from both waitresses, even though all tables were last occupied. You don't sit there for 5 minutes with an empty glass and a friendly saying always comes out of your mouth. I'm really looking forward to visiting the beer garden when it gets warmer soon

Eating takeaway is difficult! I called and the lady on the phone said the wait was 30 minutes. Unfortunately my schnitzel was still not ready by that time. Maybe they shouldn't accept orders over the phone (the restaurant was completely full). Otherwise food is delicious but difficult to take away!

Luley is a world of its own. Good food and the price is more than acceptable. Recommended restaurant. Since it's not in the immediate vicinity, we don't visit it enough, which is actually a shame.

Essen war wieder sehr lecker, freundliches Personal Portionen waren wieder ordentlich, selbst der Senioren Teller. Nur das Ambiente müste mal aufgefrischt werden, die letzten Jahre wurde leider nichts unternommen.

Man kann dort noch sehr günstig gut bürgerlich essen. Bei meinem ersten Besuch war ich so begeistert. Mittlerweile war corona u keine Ahnung was sich geändert hat aber ich finde es schmeckt nicht mehr so super da Alles nicht mehr so gewürzt wird u am beilagensalat ist so gut wie kein Dressing mehr. Man bekommt aber auf Nachfrage eine Portion Sauce gebracht Habe das Gefühl Schnitzel sind nur paniert ohne gewürzt zu sein. Aber Salz u Pfeffer steht auf jedem Tisch. Naja. Leider war das Essen meiner Freundin beim letzten Mal schon fast kalt aber der hunger hat uns von einer Beschwerde abgehalten. Eigentlich war sie wegen der Rouladen da aber die war um 18:30 schon aus. Mein Gulasch war dann sehr lecker nachdem ich es nachgewürzt habe. Der Laden ist immer propenvoll. Reservierung erforderlich. Der Service ist immer nett u freundlich.

Hier heißt es Essen wie ein Hungriger, bedient werden wie ein König und bezahlen wie ein Armer! Das soll heißen ganz tolles Essen mit ordentlichen Portionen zu einem kleinen Preis. Und dann noch bedient werden wie ein König. Wir haben diese Lokation heute mit dem Fahrrad von Okriftel aus aufgesucht . Das ist eine sehr schöne Fahrt von 35 KM mit hin und Rückweg zu einem tollen Biergarten. Als wir reingegangen sind, viel uns der schöne Biergarten sofort auf. Hier gibt es sogar Spielgeräte für Kinder wie Rutschbahn usw. Wir haben kaum gesessen so wurde auch schon nach den Getränken gefragt. Als wir diese bestellt hatten wurden wir aufgeklärt was es heute als Mittagstisch gab. Ich habe einen Schweinebraten mit Pommes, Tagessuppe und Salat (6,70 Euro), der zweite hatte den Schweinebraten mit leckeren Klößen, Tagessuppe und Salat (6,70 Euro). Der dritte Mann hatte ein Rahmschnitzel mit Pommes und Salat, das war eine sehr gute Portion. (etwas über 10 Euro) Dazu hatten wir jeder 0,5 Liter Krämer Apfelwein (3,40 Euro). Mal ganz ehrlich hier kann man vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis einfach nicht meckern. Die Chefin ist absolut lieb und macht jeden Spaß mit. Der einzige kleine Minuspunkt ist das diese Lokation direkt an einer großen Kreuzung liegt und dauernd Autos hupen und den schönen Flair wieder stören. Aber weil sich hier so viel Mühe gegeben wird und das Essen sehr gut schmeckt und auch sehr günstig ist, wollen wir der lieben Chefin das nicht antun deswegen nicht mehr wieder zu kommen. Wir waren auf jeden Fall sehr begeistert. Wir werden das Luley auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen auch wieder. Also Ihr Mädchen vom Luley: Macht weiter so, es war echt toll!! Update heute am 12.10.2022 waren wir wieder auf userer Radtour hier eingekehrt. Es war wieder absolut der Hammer!!! Essen toll, Bedienung toll, Preis toll, alles gut. Wir hatten 2x Nudelsuppe, Schweinebraten einmal mit Pommes und einmal mit Klößen, dazu einen gemischten Salat. Komplettpreis 6,90 Euro pro Essen. Einfach unglaublich.

Unglaublich gutes deutsches Essen. Wir hatten Lendchen und Lendchenspiess. Man kann also Schwein wie Rind medium braten. Es hat uns super geschmeckt. Über die Preise von vor 20 Jahren wollen wir gar nicht berichten. Wir wollten nur vor einer längeren Reise in Hotelnähe essen und fanden einen Gourmettempel deutschen Essens.

Die Gaststätte Luley kann ich nur empfehlen. Hier gibt es noch sehr großzügig bemessene und geschmacklich gut zubereitete Gerichte und selbst ein Seniorenteller ist von den normalen Portionen kaum zu unterscheiden. Das Personal ist auch immer sehr freundlich und schnell.

Sehr gutes Essen zu günstigen Preisen. Service und Bedienung ist ebenfalls sehr gut und super freundlich. Leider stört der starke Verkehrslärm. Aber trotzdem jedem zu empfehlen.

Sollten Sie noch etwas jünger sein und es passt beim Essen noch richtig viel rein, dann ist dieses Restaurant das Richtige. Mir war es zu viel, und da ich aus Württemberg komme, war mir diese Hausmannsküche auch nicht gut genug. Aber es war.....ok.

pas de grande cuisine, beaucoup de personnes agees, la carte est simple: escaloppes panees , salade, fritres ,pommes de terres rissolees etc... bon vins blanc du coin, biere. une tres bonne qualite a bas prix,mais , toujours reserver....

Aus Richtung Darmstadt kommend ist die Gaststätte direkt am Ortseingang von Mörfelden gelegen. Man findet hier eine gute deutsche Küche mit ausreichenden Portionen bei vernünftigen Preisen und eine nette Bedienung. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
