We were passing through here and found a beautiful restaurant. Very comfortably furnished. Super nice and pleasant staff and very tasty food. Only recommended

A cozy restaurant with good German cuisine, which is very difficult to find here these days. Very, very friendly staff and great beer.

On the way home today I thought for a while about whether I should write a review. I arrived at Fichtelberg today on my mountain bike full of anticipation. I thought there might be a nice drink and something small to eat. Unfortunately we (me and an older couple) were turned away. There was apparently no food. This was communicated brusquely. No one knows why. It was supposed to open at 3:30 p.m. There was also some talking in the kitchen. It took a while to find someone to ask. The snack bar was also not manned today (the sign said it was not manned today). In my opinion that is not good service. If it is decided on the mountain that there is no food, then as a potential customer I do not know that before my tour. So it gets 3 stars (because I cannot judge the rest and I still do not think 3 stars are desirable). The atmosphere was cozy and the terrace and the view are wonderful. I have heard that the food is good. It's a shame, a couple of wieners would have been enough for me. Apparently, there were drinks available (at least someone was sitting in the restaurant with a pilsner). But I decided not to ask. So I ended up having Knopers and water on a bench...

Always worth a visit! Good regional cuisine with great and very friendly service! Also recommended for celebrations! A beautiful beer garden in summer! Was there again and the level remains great!!

We were there on Christmas Day with 20 people. We booked our table at 12 p.m. The first drinks arrived at 12:45 p.m. That was a long time ago. The food order would also be taken around this time. A second drink order was just possible. We then ate at 1:45 p.m. The food itself was good. But the portions are so big that you can't manage it. It's a shame if half of it ends up in the trash. Smaller portions and a little cheaper would also be good.

Unfortunately on March 11th We had an unpleasant experience when we wanted to have something to drink and eat around 5:30 p.m. First they left us wondering whether we would get a table - there were a lot of unoccupied tables - then they asked in a very harsh tone whether there should be anything else... no, unfortunately not there anymore!

We ate well and were served courteously. As always, very good.

Good selection of home-style German cuisine. Lovingly prepared and tasted great. Service was also very warm and accommodating. Can be warmly recommended with a clear conscience.

Well, what can you say? Just TOP TOP TOP. We haven't eaten so well in a long time and have the feeling that the quality has really declined in many other restaurants. A very cozy inn with good food. In my opinion it could do with a little more spice, but everyone has different tastes. Otherwise everything is fine and you are welcome to visit the country inn again.

Cute hotel, very good value for money. Breakfast could be a bit more generous and the mattresses a bit harder, but otherwise everything was great.

Bad service. Don't respect reservations anf have zero manners. Highly not recommended to tourists.

Yes, we were only in the restaurant. The interior was designed with a lot of love. The food was excellent.
