A little disappointed. I went to this restaurant ten years ago, and I loved it. Family atmosphere, typical Berlin dishes (pork shank, pea puree...). So I went back there with my eyes closed with friends. But: more than Currywurst and Schnitzel on the menu. Very good otherwise, but too classic. The service was quick and friendly. However, there is a grimace when it's time to leave. My French friends who paid that evening did not think, as good French people, to leave a tip. We were clearly glared at, I only understood afterwards! So: good, friendly family setting, but nothing extraordinary and... Don't forget the tip!...

The food was delicious and plentiful! The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed due to the high workload, but were still friendly.

This rustic restaurant offers hungry hikers a small but good selection to fortify themselves and warm up. The service was excellent.

Das Essen selbst war absolut großartig. Eigentlich waren das 5 Sterne. Leider gab es bei den Getränken Dinge zu monieren. Das erste war ein Sherry, der sauer war. Keine Ahnung wie das ging, aber es war sauer und bitter. Nicht das, was ich erwartet hätte. Ich hatte einen Grauburgunder feinherb bestellt. Es kam ein Grauburgunder trocken, eine ganze Flasche. Ich schau drauf und bin nicht zufrieden und spreche die Kellnerin an. Sie hat gesagt, sie haben den Grauburgunder bestellt. Daß ich einen Anderen haben wollte, hat sie nicht zur Kenntnis genommen. Sie ist dann abgezischt. Das hat mich sehr geärgert. Der Wein war übrigens wirklich gut. Also: Essen 5, Service 2, Getränke 3 - wegen des Sherrys. Und für die Kellnerin: Augen auf bei der Berufswahl!

Very attentive and quick service. Price performance is right. The portions are large and everything tastes delicious.

We were there with a large group. And ate and drank there. If it was worth more than €1100, I would have liked a round of max 10 drinks of medlar or something similar as a thank you. Unfortunately the staff was crying about their tips. I thought that was a shame. The food and the evening were really nice.

Rustic restaurant with good home-style food that tastes great! Prices also reasonable!

The food (Tafelspitz with green sauce, sauerbraten, red cabbage and dumplings) was ok. However, the "homemade" dumplings were never homemade! The boiled potatoes were glassy and not completely cooked, which is a shame, so only 5 out of 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice hotel. Rooms were always clean and tidy. Modernly furnished. The food there is also highly recommended. It's not far to Lake Constance either. Reservations are highly recommended during the holiday season. We were always there out of season and it was easy to get a room at short notice. Credit cards and EC cards are accepted. I will definitely try to spend the night there on my next trip to Lake Constance.

This was our second time in this restaurant, a small but nice restaurant. The service was nice and quick. Good Saxon home cooking
