My meal was very good and the portion size was decent. The very friendly service deserves special mention.

A cozy restaurant with a brewery atmosphere and a lovely outdoor terrace with large parasols and awnings. Traditional food with monthly changing seasonal specials; good value for money, prompt and very friendly service.

We were in Cologne for the "Monet's Garden" exhibition. Afterwards, we went to the Bickendorfer Hof, as it was listed as the nearest brewery. We got a table without a reservation and enjoyed a very good, home-style meal. The ingredients were all fresh, the portions were quite generous, and the service was very attentive and friendly, and... delicious Kölsch! It's a shame the weather wasn't great, otherwise we would have sat outside in the lovely beer garden. Highly recommended location.

Very friendly service, good food!

A lovely restaurant with excellent food, especially popular with children – the currywurst and chicken nuggets were a highlight. The friendly service was also impressive. Only the steak didn't live up to expectations.

So no matter what you order there, it's always great!

I stayed at Bickendorfer Hof with family and friends, and we had a fantastic experience. We enjoyed a late lunch together, and the food was absolutely great—delicious and well-prepared. On top of that, the price was an excellent value for what we got. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it made for a memorable time with loved ones. Highly recommend!

Delicious, rustic food and friendly service in a lovely setting. The food isn't top-notch, but it's good enough and tasty.

Totally great! We were there with a 14-man bachelor party. The staff was super friendly and the tables in front of the brewery were put together for us because the weather was nice. The food was super tasty and came hot and at the same time despite the large number of people. Highly recommended, especially if you were playing laser tag just around the corner (5 minutes walk)! gladly again.

Very nice inn, the food was very good. The children love the dishes, currywurst and chicken nuggets were great. Everything is only surpassed by the nice service.

I can highly recommend this place to everyone. It is a place mostly visited by locals, which creates a pleasantly authentic atmosphere. The chicken schnitzel with hollandaise sauce that I had here was really excellent. The staff were also very welcoming - especially Javier, who looked after us, for which we are very grateful. It's ideal for large gatherings with friends, but I highly recommend asking for a reservation beforehand.

We had a great time! We showed up with a big group and they were able to easily keep track of everyone's bill, the food was excellent, and the service was really fast. All the people working were really friendly and fun too, especially Javier! We'll definitely be back and it was great place for traditional German food. :)

Great food and drinks, and amazing service as well. Was also very reasonably priced :) I ate the Sauerbraten which was amazing. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and easily helped us both in German and English. I will definitely be back!

Nice brewery with delicious food

If you want to drink a real Kolsch in a real German brasserie, this is the one for you, it's really typical, the price of a kolsch is 2 euros and at carnival you can watch the carts throwing the sweets, the food is very good, both the schnitzel and the local specialities, on sunny days it is possible to eat on the terrace

Super friendly staff, we hadn't booked a table and yet we were able to stay for 2 hours until the next reservation. I can only recommend pork neck steak with braised onions, fries and salad.

Were there on Saturday and had reserved. Schnitzel and fried potatoes are homemade and taste very good. Service is attentive and friendly.

Four of us had dinner last week! The food was very tasty, the portions were so good that you felt full. Even if the Bickendorfer Hof is rather away from the hustle and bustle! Is it worth going there… the waitresses are very nice! I asked a few times if everything was okay and if we wanted anything else! It was full while we were there! Nevertheless, the question was asked several times. And that is not a given.

I would give more than 5 stars! Luckily we spontaneously got a table for two on Boxing Day. Despite the general Christmas "stress", everyone here was very friendly, attentive and everyone always had a friendly smile on their faces 😊 The food was very tasty. We left the restaurant wishless, satisfied and completely full. We would love to come back.

We have been coming to the Bickendorfer Hof regularly for schnitzel for two years now. We love the atmosphere, the delicious schnitzel, the ice-cold, freshly tapped Wiess and are very grateful to the warm-hearted owner for this great restaurant, which has now become our absolute favorite restaurant. Even if we have guests over, a visit to the Bickendorfer Hof is a must!!

We went to the Bickendorfer Hof for food and drinks with a group of 41 people and we were all very satisfied. Service quick and friendly; All participants also enjoyed the food and was served hot and beautifully prepared. The agreements made before the visit were followed exactly. We are very excited and will recommend the inn to everyone. Thank you everyone, whether in the kitchen or in the service!

Service quite OK. My herb quark tasted like rubber. Fried potatoes taste like they came from the deep fryer, hard on the outside, soft on the inside. Bacon cubes extremely hard. Dessert was medium sized. Price doesn't match the quality of the food. Not worth going. Too bad.

Just had Heaven and Ääd, good portion, tasty and nicely prepared. The service staff were all very friendly, unobtrusive and prompt. Toilet pleasantly clean, modern, practical.

One of our favorite places! The service was great and really very accommodating, the atmosphere on the terrace was also really nice. The chef and all the staff are really very friendly and the most important thing, of course, is that it's incredibly tasty there! We now regularly order the cream spaetzle to take away, but the schnitzel there is also amazing and always large portions. Really only recommended! 😊

Cozy beer garden, the plants mean you don't pay much attention to the street. Attentive, fast, and of course friendly service, even if, like us, you just want to drink a beer. The menu doesn't contain too much, there are seasonal offers, currently chanterelles, otherwise solid brewery cuisine, including Cologne specialties. I'll definitely come back for dinner sometime 😀

The service staff is really excellent and absolutely worth mentioning. Nice, fast, friendly, everything was great. The food, however, wasn't outstanding. There were 7 of us, drinks always came very quickly, we waited an hour for the food, but it was also quite full. The only child at the table got their food at the end, which was an absolute no-go for us. The portions are generous, but every dish lacks a side salad or vegetables. The plates are full of meat, which we no longer find entirely contemporary. The schnitzel + fries and sauces were ok, but not a highlight. Heaven and Ääd was delicious. Sauerbraten and the sauce were inedible, spaetzle were cheap supermarket spaetzle fried in butter. For €20 the dish was a joke. We all found desserts to be too expensive. The path to the toilets smells extremely musty and has a slaughterhouse atmosphere.

The Kölsch sizzled and the food was down-to-earth👍🏽 We'll remember that and come back.

The service was friendly and nice. Fast and always keeping an eye on us. Kölsch was ice cold and delicious 😋. What I didn't like was the schnitzel cordonbleu. It looked like it was made in the deep fryer. I didn't like the breading. The salad was delicious with mustard sauce. It definitely wasn't my last visit...

This restaurant is absolutely recommended. The food tastes excellent, whether it's the 300 gr. skirt steak or the schnitzel or the meat loaf, everything tastes good. The prices are absolutely okay, you could say cheap for the quality of the food.

I've been to the Bickendorfer Hof a total of three times in the last two weeks after a long break and it was always great. Regardless of whether it was family or friends, everyone was just as happy as I was. The Bickendorfer Hof offers classic brewery cuisine and Rhenish specialties. In addition to Kölsch and soft drinks, there are also wines and wonderfully delicious Gaffel Wiess fresh from the barrel. The dishes don't need to hide. No matter whether it's schnitzel, spaetzle, salad, currywurst or steak - you can rely on it to taste good. The steaks in particular are really good. The portions are quite large, which means that the Bickendorfer has a very good price/performance ratio. The always friendly, attentive and funny service - even when it's full - and the boss, who lends a hand in all functions and shows his face, should not go unmentioned. That's the way it has to be. In summer, the restaurant has a beautiful, large terrace - it's definitely worth a visit!

Watched euros one night, then took my lads for dinner. Staff were excellent particularly the blonde lady (management) who seemed to be the hostess with the mistress and was in tune with everyone's requirements.

A great brewery for every age group. The food is always delicious and the price/performance ratio is great. The boss and all the employees are always friendly and always have a smile on their faces, no matter how full the brewery is. We'll be back...promised.

Wir waren am 14.06.2024 zu eine Geburtstagsparty dort. Gesamt ca 110 Leute vor Ort. Das Buffet war eine Sensation, es wurde permanent frisch nachgeladen. Viele Veganer waren genauso glücklich, wie alle anderen Gäste. MEGA Service!!! Immer freundlich, immer schnell. Es ist lange her, dass wir so perfekte Gastronomie erleben durften. My girlfriend, my daughter and I were there today (04.06.24) quite spontaneously. We both had an excellent meal. The tomato soup first delighted us both. And my friend thought she had the best currywurst she's had in a long time. I had the farmer's schnitzel, this dish is to blame for the fact that I had no room for dessert 😅. Unfortunately, inflation is also noticeable in the prices here, but many restaurateurs are in the same boat. But you definitely get enough for your money here. Our waiters were friendly, on the ball and generally very relaxed. They were well positioned for the number of guests, and we didn't wait too long for the food either. It feels like half an hour at most. You can assume that we will pay you a visit again soon.

The food at the Bickendorfer is WONDERFUL! Everything I have tried is delicious. Michele has a beautiful way of serving the guests and making people feel at home no matter where you are from. Resad, the owner, is very friendly as well. The atmosphere at this restaurant is very friendly and has a welcoming vibe that is not always common in Köln. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!!
