Bickendorfer Hof in Köln

We eat there regularly. Usually, we eat rump steak. Today we treated ourselves to the prawns as a starter. It was, as always, delicious.

A huge thank you to the service team for the wonderful evening on November 7th! The food was delicious, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back. Thumbs up!

Yesterday we were at the Bickendorfer Hof for the first time in a while. I now have your beer mat hanging on the fridge as a reminder to come back more often. It was so lovely. The atmosphere was great - the Kölsch was fresh - the food was delicious - the staff were attentive, quick, and very friendly. Everything we needed for a relaxing evening where we didn't have to worry about anything.

Found it by chance online; parking is difficult to find. But the food is so good, the service is incredibly fast. Kudos to Michelle, she's very kind. We'll be back. We came here for our wedding anniversary because it was recommended to us, and we were not disappointed. Quite the opposite. The food was freshly prepared and tasted excellent. What I would especially like to mention is the friendly, attentive, and courteous staff, starting with the "chef" and continuing with three other waiters, who were very concerned about our needs and wishes and anticipated our every need. That's no longer a given these days and deserves special praise. We will gladly return.

I've been to the Bickendorfer Hof a few times now and have been very satisfied every time. The food is really good – the schnitzel is especially amazing with delicious side dishes. The freshly tapped Gaffel Kölsch pairs perfectly with it. The service is friendly and attentive. Michelle, with her fun and relaxed manner, always makes you feel well looked after. The blonde bartender is also very personable and keeps an eye on things – you can tell she enjoys her job. Resad is very present and personally cares about the well-being of his guests. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal – exactly what you want from a brewery. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable visit – I'd love to come back!

The staff is friendly and fast, but unfortunately, the portions are too small for the price. I left hungry after eating the Wiener Schnitzel with fries. I wouldn't recommend it.

Today we wanted to try something new and visited the Bickendorfer Hof for the first time. We received a friendly welcome and were given the choice of whether to sit inside or outside. We opted for outside, and the waiter already had the menu with him. I chose the Bickendorfer fillet pot and my partner the schnitzel with chanterelle cream sauce. Both were delicious. Since I'm a bit of a sauce freak, I ordered a second portion of mushroom sauce, which thankfully wasn't charged extra. For both dishes, including two Cokes, the bill came to €48. An absolutely fair price for great quality. Conclusion: we'll definitely be back 👍🏻 Unfortunately, I can't attach the pictures 🤷‍♀️

A real Kösche brewery with delicious food and very friendly service.

Now in the summer, there's a lovely outdoor dining area with many large umbrellas, including patio heaters for the winter. The food was great as always, and the service was friendly. We had two schnitzels, which were tender with crispy fried potatoes. There was nothing to complain about. Incidentally, the wheat beer wasn't even half empty when the food was already on the table. The portion size was great. There were two schnitzels stacked on top of each other on the plates. Highly recommended.

We were in Cologne for the "Monet's Garden" exhibition. Afterwards, we went to the Bickendorfer Hof, as it was listed as the nearest brewery. We got a table without a reservation and enjoyed a very good, home-style meal. The ingredients were all fresh, the portions were quite generous, and the service was very attentive and friendly, and... delicious Kölsch! It's a shame the weather wasn't great, otherwise we would have sat outside in the lovely beer garden. Highly recommended location.

A lovely restaurant with excellent food, especially popular with children – the currywurst and chicken nuggets were a highlight. The friendly service was also impressive. Only the steak didn't live up to expectations.

So no matter what you order there, it's always great!

Totally great! We were there with a 14-man bachelor party. The staff was super friendly and the tables in front of the brewery were put together for us because the weather was nice. The food was super tasty and came hot and at the same time despite the large number of people. Highly recommended, especially if you were playing laser tag just around the corner (5 minutes walk)! gladly again.

Very nice inn, the food was very good. The children love the dishes, currywurst and chicken nuggets were great. Everything is only surpassed by the nice service.

I can highly recommend this place to everyone. It is a place mostly visited by locals, which creates a pleasantly authentic atmosphere. The chicken schnitzel with hollandaise sauce that I had here was really excellent. The staff were also very welcoming - especially Javier, who looked after us, for which we are very grateful. It's ideal for large gatherings with friends, but I highly recommend asking for a reservation beforehand.

Great food and drinks, and amazing service as well. Was also very reasonably priced :) I ate the Sauerbraten which was amazing. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and easily helped us both in German and English. I will definitely be back!

Nice brewery with delicious food

If you want to drink a real Kolsch in a real German brasserie, this is the one for you, it's really typical, the price of a kolsch is 2 euros and at carnival you can watch the carts throwing the sweets, the food is very good, both the schnitzel and the local specialities, on sunny days it is possible to eat on the terrace

Super friendly staff, we hadn't booked a table and yet we were able to stay for 2 hours until the next reservation. I can only recommend pork neck steak with braised onions, fries and salad.

Were there on Saturday and had reserved. Schnitzel and fried potatoes are homemade and taste very good. Service is attentive and friendly.

Four of us had dinner last week! The food was very tasty, the portions were so good that you felt full. Even if the Bickendorfer Hof is rather away from the hustle and bustle! Is it worth going there… the waitresses are very nice! I asked a few times if everything was okay and if we wanted anything else! It was full while we were there! Nevertheless, the question was asked several times. And that is not a given.

I would give more than 5 stars! Luckily we spontaneously got a table for two on Boxing Day. Despite the general Christmas "stress", everyone here was very friendly, attentive and everyone always had a friendly smile on their faces 😊 The food was very tasty. We have been coming to the Bickendorfer Hof regularly for schnitzel for two years now. We love the atmosphere, the delicious schnitzel, the ice-cold, freshly tapped Wiess and are very grateful to the warm-hearted owner for this great restaurant, which has now become our absolute favorite restaurant. Even if we have guests over, a visit to the Bickendorfer Hof is a must!!

Service quick and friendly; All participants also enjoyed the food and was served hot and beautifully prepared. The agreements made before the visit were followed exactly. Service quite OK. My herb quark tasted like rubber. Fried potatoes taste like they came from the deep fryer, hard on the outside, soft on the inside. Bacon cubes extremely hard. Dessert was medium sized. Price doesn't match the quality of the food. Not worth going. Too bad.
