Very tasty food and very friendly service

We can only agree with the positive reviews. There are always a few complainers. Today, six of us were at the Krone. Friendly service, delicious food, and a good price. Everything was excellent, as always. Thank you.

The food was simply excellent. I had a 300g fillet steak. It was cooked to perfection. The taste was simply amazing. Very well seasoned. A very tasty salad as a side dish. All in all, I can definitely recommend this dish. This restaurant has various different types of schnitzel, some of which are very interesting. My partner had one, for example. I was also able to try it. The schnitzel came with homemade hollandaise sauce, which you can taste. There's also an outside area, a kind of terrace, where comfortable seating invites you to linger and enjoy yourself. The staff were very friendly, and I really enjoyed myself there.

Simply fantastic! 🍴 The food is absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, and the portions are more than fair. The prices are also great and truly reasonable. The absolute highlight, however, is the staff – incredibly friendly, attentive, and simply a 10/10! You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! 🌟

We've been there several times and were never disappointed. The staff truly embraces hospitality and understands the extremely stressful job. Whether it's just for two or for a large celebration, we could rely on the quality and expertise of everyone. However, you should reserve a table.

We visited the Krone restaurant last week. We reserved a table outside over the phone. The staff member's reluctance was immediately apparent. When we entered, we were told it wasn't possible to sit outside that evening (?). After we practically insisted, as we had made a reservation and the weather was great, a table was cleared for us after two members of staff had stopped smoking. Along with two overflowing ashtrays, we were treated to warm beer and, among other things, a soggy salad with shepherd's cheese as our main course, which was advertised as goat's cheese. Because we were so disappointed, we informed the waiter. Instead of any conciliatory words, we were presented with the full bill. The rest of the otherwise beautiful terrace still clearly showed the signs of the previous evening, which had obviously been the site of a wedding, and explained the lack of motivation among the staff and the poor quality of the food served. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend the Gaststätte zur Krone and would like to emphasize once again that it is not acceptable to subject paying guests to such behavior.

This time I had a delicious, large salad with champagne. Again, it was delicious, and the staff were nice and friendly.

There were 9 of us in the Restaurant Zur Krone and we were thrilled from the first moment. Everything was perfect – from the lovingly prepared starters to the individually prepared main courses and the excellent dessert. Every wish was fulfilled and the quality of the food was consistently top. We would particularly like to highlight the exceptionally friendly service: the waiters were attentive, warm and professional. The host himself was a real highlight - present, charming and with real passion for his house. We'll definitely be back. Absolute recommendation!

Delicious food and good, friendly and attentive service. The menu offers something for every taste. The price is between approx. 30 - 45 € per person. P. (food and drinks with dessert) I really enjoyed it and will definitely be a guest at this restaurant again. Thank you for the successful evening!

Extremely courteous service. Very attentive. Very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the pork on the spit was a bit too dry, but the beef was perfect. Schnitzel was great and the salad with it was extremely tasty. Good opportunity to chat. Highly recommended. The apple strudel is a feast for the eyes, but a bit too “smoky”

A great restaurant. The service staff are all super nice and attentive. The food is always delicious, we have never had anything to complain about. No matter whether you just go for dinner, celebrate birthdays or other events there, it is beautifully decorated. Bravo, keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

Very good service. I celebrated my birthday there and ate al cart with 18 people. everything went smoothly. Everyone got their food at the same time, over and over again.

Absolut unterirdischer Service!!! Zu allererst wurden wir bei der Frage, ob ein Tisch für 2 Personen frei ist mit einer Kopfbewegung und dem schlichten Befehl „Hochtisch“ platziert. Eine Menü-Karte haben wir auch nach mehr als 10 Minuten nicht erhalten. Dummerweise hatten wir wohl auch den falschen Hochtisch ausgewählt. Denn an dem an der Bar hatten Gäste nach uns Platz genommen, die noch im Hinsetzen nach ihrem Getränkewunsch gefragt worden sind. Daraufhin fragten wir mal freundlich an der Bar nach, ob wir denn auch mal Karten erhalten könnten. Nachdem ich mich gerade wieder setzte, wurden die Karten auf den Tresen gelegt und ich durfte erneut an die Bar laufen, um sie mir selber abzuholen. Nachdem wir unsere Wahl getroffen hatten, kam immer noch niemand um nach unserer Bestellung zu fragen. Aber um uns herum wurde kassiert, serviert und die Gäste, die dreist das „nächste Bier“ durch den Gastraum rufend bestellten, wurden bedient. Nach nochmals 10 Minuten hatten wir dann keine Lust mehr weiter wie Dreck und ungebetene Gäste behandelt zu werden. War ein Versuch, um als neue Anwohner mal die Nachbarschaft auszuloten - nie wieder!!!Pool

One star is still too many!!! A table was reserved for 5 people, but we got one for 4; somewhere in a dark corner. You could barely see the food, which was probably for the better. We ordered various dishes from liver to shrimp and salmon, all of which were not seasoned and bad! The salmon wasn't cooked through in places, the shrimp plate came out of the microwave. Some shrimp hot, others cold. The service was friendly and attentive! Conclusion: There won't be a second time for us!!!

Ate another schnitzel on schnitzel day for only €13.50. Super tasty, over 20 different schnitzels, it's funny, the schnitzels have city names like Borbeck, Rüttenscheid, etc

The food tastes excellent. We had celebrated a birthday and were there with around 20 people. The conditions were simply phenomenal. A lovely, funny and very friendly young woman. Very knowledgeable and quick at your work. Simply great!

Unfortunately a total disappointment. Ten of us wanted to celebrate my father's birthday. The table was stylishly set. It was good to do. Unfortunately, we only got the card after ONE hour and after asking. There were children (10 and 14) there and they weren't the only ones who were upset later when there was still no food on the table two hours after we arrived. At the beginning it worked with the drinks, but after the meal nothing worked anymore. We sat in front of the empty plates, and the glasses were no longer cleared away. The table looked like a battlefield. There were only two service staff there for the entire restaurant AND the beer garden. They were hopelessly overwhelmed. In the end, we literally tripped up the waitress because we wanted to order desserts and drinks so that we could at least end the evening comfortably. The waitress's answer put the crown on the fiasco. She literally said: "The chef didn't buy desserts"!!!! We didn't order any more drinks then. Regarding the food itself, I unfortunately have to say that the beef fillet was a solid end piece from which any normal housewife would have prepared the beef fillet tips, but definitely not the 200g fillet indicated on the menu. All in all disappointing

The food is top and a good price/performance ratio. I had a schnitzel from the schnitzel parade and my wife had the fillet steak. Everything to the point. The next visit won't be long in coming.

Were there at an event! The service was a bit slow and a few drinks were suddenly no longer available!! So only 3 stars...

Today I had the lamb fillet with bacon beans and rosemary potatoes. When the plate came, it was overloaded with beans, bacon bits and potatoes. Something didn't smell fresh either and it was swimming in an oily pepper sauce that wasn't even on the menu. The lamb was delicious. But the bacon was spoiled!!! (I also noticed it in the toilet in the evening). When I mentioned it to the waitress, all I got was a tepid "oh, I'm sorry." Simply a no go. That was spoiled goods and not just my taste! The price of €27.50 was of course fully charged! I won't go to the restaurant again, very disappointing

Was disappointed with the service for the first time today. The usual regular cast wasn't there, and unfortunately you notice that straight away. The food was, as always, very good.

As always, everything was great here. From beautifully set tables to very friendly service. We've been here dozens of times, including large celebrations with 40 people, and we keep coming back.

Update 02/2024 The quality of the food and service increased again, even if it was hardly possible. Hats off. I'm absolutely thrilled ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Update 2023....mega boss, really great service staff and the food is simply unbeatable. Great restaurant, great service, great food... just great.

We often go to Zur Krone and are always satisfied. There is still one note. We regularly order a dish with almond broccoli. But there are NEVER almonds. They are probably always OFF. Alternatively, you can order holondaise sauce and it tastes much better. The map should definitely be changed. There are always little discussions because we always try to get almonds. Otherwise always great. Recommended schnitzel and burgers.

Die Location war super und das Personal wirklich nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen war top. Ich hatte 2 Fleischspieße (Rind und Hähnchen) mit Rosmarinkartoffeln und Pfeffersoße. Der Geschmack war super und die Anrichteweise sehr geil 👍 Der Hähnchenspieß war leider kalt, daher einen Punkt abzug. Nichts desto trotz kommen wir gerne wieder.

Gutes Essen und gutes Bier vom Fass. Sehr schönes Lokal zum Essen und Genießen.

Man kann fast keine besseren Erfahrungen in einem Restaurant machen. Wir waren mit unseren Bewohnern*Innen unseres Behinderten-Wohnheims zum Weihnachts-Essen hier, wurden fürstlich bedient, haben hervorragend gegessen und es wurden keine Unterschiede gemacht. Großartige Sache. Vielen Dank!

Einfach ein wunderschönes Lokal, gute Küche, perfekt propprtionirte Teller, aufmerksame KELLNER. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr guter und netter Service. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht und obwohl 2 große Gruppen dabei waren, kam auch unser Essen sehr schnell. Ich würde das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
