Unfortunately you have to click on a star to be able to write something here. Star not worth it. So unfriendly. You sit outside for 15 minutes. 3 young waitresses constantly walk past us. To every table. They don't even look at us. Or just stand around. Service zero. So even if you complain, all you get is, Yes, then that's how it is. No "sorry" or anything like that. We actually wanted to have a nice meal and something to drink. But that's past now. Thanks for nothing.

Regarding the above review!! We sat a table next to it and can say that the rating is completely unfounded. Maybe some guests should question their behavior before judging others!! We were thrilled by the young, committed staff and the delicious food.

Every visit to the Meygarten is a pleasure and you know what you have. A varied selection of food, especially vegetarian dishes. I've never been disappointed with a dish so far and everything tastes great. On top of that comes the good service! Intolerances (in this case celiac disease) are dealt with with understanding, so that the restaurant is an option even if you have a gluten-free diet. We always like to come back!

Went there for the first time yesterday and we managed to get a spot in the beer garden. Unfortunately, reservations are not accepted there. We had the mushroom cream schnitzel twice (1x pork and 1x chicken, 1x with fried potatoes and 1x with fries/mayo). The food came quickly and was very tasty. The service was very attentive and friendly. I'd be happy to come back, even if I found the price for the schnitzel to be a bit too high

Wir kommen eigentlich gerne in den Meygarten, normalerweise 1x pro Woche. Das Essen ist immer lecker aber die Preise schon recht hoch. Leider wurden die Preise nun zum neuen Jahr nochmal ordentlich angehoben, was ich etwas unverschämt finde. Wir werden sicherlich mal wieder kommen aber unser wöchentliches Stammlokal wird zukünftig ein anderes werden. Schade.

Super Essen mit viel Auswahl Tolle Location

Nachdem meiner Meinung nach während der Coronazeit die Qualität sehr nachgelassen hat, hat uns unser letzter Besuch am 31.10.2023 wieder voll und ganz überzeugt. Die Portionen waren großzügig und haben wirklich ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Meiner Begleitung hat sein Essen sehr geschmeckt, ich war etwas enttäuscht! Es gibt eine wirklich große Auswahl an vegetarischem Essen was ich sehr toll fand, da können sich andere Restaurants definitiv eine Scheibe anschneiden. Jedoch war mein Vegi-Schnitzel aus Saitan mit Soße Hollandaise, Spargel und Käse überbacken nur so lala… es war zu viel Käse der sehr Gummiartig war zudem hat es nach nichts geschmeckt außer nach dem Spargel der aus dem Glas kam. Ich würde evtl nochmal hin aber dann doch was anderes essen und hoffen das es besser schmeckt!

Im urigen Biergarten sitzt man gesellig und sehr gemütlich. Da man draußen nicht reservieren kann, sollte man zeitnah ab 17 Uhr einkehren.

im meygarten kann man in schöner atmosphäre immer lecker essen! ob veggie, fisch oder fleisch - es ist für jeden geschmack etwas dabei. am liebsten mag ich die falafelgerichte! die getränkekarte ist ebenfalls sehr vielfältig!

Für uns eines der Gladbecker-Restaurants erster Wahl. Das Essen war bisher immer sehr lecker, der Service top. Wir sind also immer wieder gerne hier, zuletzt anlässlich der Taufe meiner Tochter. Gut finde ich, dass man die Gerichte in verschiedenen Portionsgrößen (z. B. 80%) bestellen kann, sodass kein Essen verschwendet werden muss. Sonderwünsche sind kein Problem. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt sind für mich auch die dicken Pommes und nicht wie so oft die dünnen, labbrigen "McDonald's"-Pommes. An den Weihnachtsfeiertagen ist der Meygarten bedauerlicherweise geschlossen.

Als we hier in de buurt zijn gaan we altijd een keer hier eten, vriendelijke bediening, goed eten heerlijke salade. Kindvriendelijk

Sonst wirklich immer eine gute Adresse, doch heute war das Tier zweimal gestorben... Noch dröger ging es wirklich nicht. Die Medaillons in Gorgonzolasauce waren wirklich staubtrocken. Auch der Hinweis darauf, war nicht wirklich aufgenommen worden! Und als sich der Gast am Nachbartisch beschwerte, dass das Filetsteak wohl das schlechteste seit langem war, denke ich, dass der Koch einen rabenschwarzen Tag hatte! Er bekam zumindest zwei Kümmerlinge auf Haus! Hoffentlich beim nächsten Mal besser!

Der Meygarten ist immer wieder ein Garant für gutes Essen, vor allem das reichhaltige Angebot an vegetarischen und veganen Speisen. Zum Lokal gehört ein schöner unter hohen Bäumen gelegener Biergarten. Es empfiehlt sich einen Tisch zu bestellen, dass Lokal ist immer gut besucht. Ein Wintergarten ist auch vorhanden, dieser ist auch sehr gemütlich, dass Personal ist stets aufgeschlossen und immer um das Wohl des Gastes bemüht...

Es war okay. Der Service schien nicht sehr motiviert zu sein. Das Essen war okay, aber ziemlich fettig. Werden sicher gerne mal in den Biergarten gehen, aber ansonsten ist es nicht der Hit.

Die Gaststätte hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente - der Serivce ist jedoch schwach: Lange Wartezeiten bei der Bedienung - selbst Getränke dauern immer wieder. Unverständlich ist auch das Essen - manchmal nicht mehr warm - manchmal lieblos angerichtet. Wir werden künftig nicht mehr dort zu Gast sein.

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort-es war normal voll. Auch nach 50min Wartezeit kam unser Essen nicht (Salat und Folienkatfoffeln). Wir haben alles storniert und sind gegangen. Wir waren auch nicht die Einzigen die so lange warten mussten. Auch die Bedienung kam mal alle 20min vorbei und unser Tisch wurde erst nach Aufforderung gewischt. So ein unverschämter, unfreundlicher Schuppen. Keine Entschuldigung garnichts! Unfähig überhaupt ein Restaurant zu führen. Wir saßen drinnen und da flogen nur Insekten herum. Auch die Kellnerin musste kurz aufschreien als ihr ein Insekt die Arme runterlief. Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Kurzfristig suchten wir mit einer etwas grösseren Gruppe eine Möglichkeit zum Abendessen, dies wurde von den freundlichen Mitarbeitern des Restaurants zeitnah möglich gemacht. Überzeugt hat nicht nur der nette Service, sondern auch das ausgesprochen gute Essen. Mehrere Gäste unserer Gesellschaft hatten ein Steak bestellt, unisono waren wir höchst zufrieden mit Qualität und Zubereitung. Einfach lecker.

Neben der freundlichen Bedienung die, obwohl sehr viel zu tun war, sehr freundlich und s hlagfeerig war, war die Küche sehr fix und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Das Essen war sehr frisch und lecker. Ich hatte einen Salatteller Lachs, der mit Aioli und Brot mehr als gesättigt hat. Alles war sehr frisch und lecker. Das bezahlsysten mit Karten zum absstreichen hat mich zunächst irritiert, das Bezaheln ging aber dadurch an der Kasse (Nicht am Tisch) sehr zügig. Alles in allem ein schönes Erlebnis und sehr empfehlenswert

Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und hatten uns auf den Biergarten gefreut und wurden sehr enttäuscht. Wohlgefühlt haben wir uns da nicht. Wir haben in dem ersten Teil mit Überdachung gesessen und überall lagen Blätter. Die sollte man da wirklich öfter mal entfernen. Der andere Teil ist mit verschiedenen Pavillions überdacht und die sehen sehr schmuddelig aus. Es fehlt da auch sehr die Gemütlichkeit..man könnte einiges da herausholen....z.b. Kabel die zu sehen sind verdecken und z.b.hübsche einheitliche Blumenkübel wären angebracht da mit alles ein wenig hübscher aussieht....dies nur mal als Anmerkung. Also sind wir nach einem Getränk reingegangen und da sagt man wirklich.....schön! Die Gemütlichkeit die draussen total fehlt findet man da wieder. Die Bedienung dort ist sehr nett und da haben wir uns auch wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war auch in Ordnung. Wir werden wohl nicht wiederkommen, weil wir eher draussen sitzen möchten und es uns da so gar nicht gefallen hat.

As you can probably see from my TripAdvisor reports I do like to eat out a lot - and all over the world... For me, it is essential that is always a great balance between service AND the quality of the food. At the Meygarten they need to get their act together on this score. One sunny, balmy evening recently my party of 4 hungry teenagers and I had spent a long, gruelling day at the nearby Movie Park theme park. We wanted to eat somewhere close by but away from the fast food offerings of hot dogs and such fine culinary delights available at such places. As usual TripAdvisor came to the rescue. The Meygarten seemd like the ideal place to wind down and feed those hungry mouths. Luckily our car's navigation system found this rather hidden restaurant and we parked on the road nearby full of anticipation. There is a large beer garden at the Meygarten and one of the busy waitresses assured us that we could sit anywhere so we decidied on a large table set out for 8 diners. Was this the trigger for what happened next? Anyway, the menus arrived quickly enough and we ordered our first round of drinks. Our waitress for the evening seemed to be very stressed, politely unfriendly and cool. Teenagers also deserve respect, particularly as those with me that day were pretty well behaved. Anyway, eventually the waitress came to take our order. She simply exuded an unpleasant aura of impatience which really started to annoy me. In the ordering process she duly warned us that the food may be some time coming to which a joked that I hope that it would not take too long as I had some very hungry mouths to feed. This obviously fell on deaf ears. The meal took forever. I have rarely been in a restaurant where we had to wait so long. Over 90 minutes in to the wait the same waitress came over to see if everything was all right at our table. I replied that, no it wasn't and that the wait was ridiculously exaggerated to which she abruptly snapped that she had warned us and left in a huff. The kids started to get irritated as well, sighing loudly & sarcastically whenever food was brought out for other guests and at one point, one threatend to go into the kitchen and help out the poor chef who was clearly not coping. Eventually the food arrived. And we all agreed that it was delicious. I had a teriyaki hamburger with hot potato wedges which I couldn't finish. The others had schnitzels served in various ways and falafel served on a huge bed of salad (including onions which we had asked not to serve). But at that point we were all tired, fed up and wanted to go home. The irony was that after a day at Movie Park waiting in queues to join the rides we had an even longer wait at the Meygarten for our food. Next time (but there won't be one) we'll ask for a Speedy Pass to get served properly. But at Movie Park they accept credit cards - not at the Meygarten so be warned! Oh, and to the young waitress who served us, please change your attitude and remember - you serve bottled water at the table and open it there please...
