La Grappa in Gladbeck

We were a group of 18 people eating here. The service was terrible. Every drink was brought individually; apparently, they don't have trays. Ketchup and mayonnaise were brought separately each time. The food was awful. My guests were completely dissatisfied. When the owner asked how the food was, I listed everything. He wasn't interested at all. He just made excuses. Then I paid almost €500, and we didn't even get a complimentary shot or anything as an apology. Card payments weren't accepted. We didn't receive a receipt either. We were asked to leave the parking lot in front of the building, which belongs to the hairdresser (who is closed on Sundays), because it had to be clear for the pizza delivery drivers. We paid so much money for bad food and terrible service. Never again! 👆 👆 👆

Absolutely delicious food. Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly service. Simply superb.

We order frequently and also eat at the restaurant often. We're always extremely satisfied. Every pasta and pizza dish we've had so far has always been excellent. The service and, of course, the chef are always very attentive and friendly. We can highly recommend La Grappa.

I love coming here to eat; the noodles are truly incredibly delicious. Nevertheless, the waitress is incredibly unfriendly. I briefly considered what I wanted to drink and apparently it took too long, and the waitress walked away, saying it was taking too long. No children's portions, and it's impossible for children to finish. You can never pay by card here, and it was immediately addressed upon arrival, but I had the feeling she thought I couldn't afford it. The food was great, but the waitress was unpleasant and not suitable for families.

Great food, great atmosphere, top service

Well, I can't understand the other reviews - we've been going to this restaurant for years and are very happy that, among the 30 kebab shops within 100 meters, there's a real restaurant to go to. The staff is very friendly and leaves nothing to be desired. The location is also a matter of taste and, for the Ruhr area, in the middle of a city, it's quite decent! Of course, if you're expecting a sea view, you should go somewhere else - you have peace and quiet, and people aren't watching your food. Food very good ***** Service very good ***** Prices completely reasonable ***** Delivery service also top-notch ***** And while I was writing this, I ate my pork schnitzel from La Grappa. AND IT WAS VERY GOOD :) Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys decent food.

I ordered two pizzas: one regular and one large with Tabasco. However, I got two small pizzas. So I called the pizzeria to ask what went wrong. On the phone, I was first passed on, and the next person said to me, "You said regular." I replied, "Yes, but that's small." All they said was, "How are we supposed to know what normal is for you?" When I explained that the mushrooms should be regular and the spinach large, they replied, "I don't believe you said it like that." Honestly: Yeah, all right, you weren't there for the conversation and now you want to know what I said? That's fine. I was really annoyed about it. I ate my mini pizza with a stomach ache, and that was the last time for me. Actually, the matter could have been resolved with a small apology; mistakes happen, after all. But blaming the customer like that is completely unacceptable. I don't want to deal with that. The pizzas here taste really good. I always enjoyed ordering from here, but unfortunately, after this experience, I won't order anymore.

We always order party trays of pizza from there for events. We've never been disappointed, and the delivery has always been on time.

Ordered there for the first time and was immediately totally disappointed. The Jägerschnitzel was completely lacking in fresh mushrooms, the sauce was flavorless and runny, like a soup. If I were to rate only my food, I'd give it a *, but since the pizzas were apparently quite okay, it's a bit better.

We were there for lunch today and had a really good meal. Service and friendliness are very important here. We come from Dorsten-Wulfen and the journey was more than worth it. We'd love to come back.

A very nice and cozy restaurant with a wide selection of Italian dishes. Pizza, pasta, fish etc. are always fresh and delicious. We like coming to Dario. There is even a delivery service.

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was disappointing. The waitress seemed unfriendly and sometimes responded sarcastically to questions. Even though the place wasn't full, we had to wait over an hour and a half for an order, while other customers were served faster. The service was disorganized and not attentive. Overall we felt like we weren't really welcome. Based on this experience, we would not recommend the restaurant.

We haven't been here for many years and today we were thrilled by the delicious food, friendly service and moderate prices. I think we will come back soon and often and we are looking forward to it.

We have about 50 minutes for the starter and almost 1 hour Waited for the main course. The drinks came quicker.

A hidden gem of a restaurant, pizza was incredible and the steak banging. Will be going back again this week.

We came here again today after a long time (the last time before Corona, but we also used the delivery service in between) and it was as if nothing had happened. We have appreciated "La Grappa" for a good three decades (!), and after a long absence we were even greeted with a handshake from the "Cheffe" - THAT says it all. We even had children's birthday dinners here. Three decades and the quality is still there. A number of locations in Gladbeck have already fallen by the wayside. We remain loyal to La Grappa!

We have a new favorite pizzeria. Maybe not that easy to find. But it's really worth it. A few tables outside, perfect for warm evenings. But also very inviting inside. Big map, everything included. Attentive service and friendly hospitality.

A nice pizzeria that definitely stands out from the typical pizza shops. Very attentive staff - there is also a nice, small outdoor area. Of course this isn't the best of the best - but all in all it deserves 5 stars. Daily specials that change from time to time. The pizza is pretty good there. Not much to complain about!

La Grappa in Gladbeck is one of the best pizzerias I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know.

Small, cozy restaurant, we didn't like the aioli and herb butter. The pizza was good, so the taste was 0815, but the price-performance ratio wasn't adequate enough for me.

Very tasty and fresh food. The warm vegetables were particularly tasty with the antipasti. Antipasti for one person is easily enough for two to share. The pizza tasted very good and had good toppings. Just as you know them from before. The portion of gnocchi in cream sauce with spinach was also delicious and generous. The very attentive service from the boss and the waitress rounded off a successful taste experience. The price/performance ratio was also good. Therefore worth recommending.

We usually order by phone and have the food delivered to us. Last week we were there with an English visitor. The food was - as always - impeccable, the service was top and the price-performance ratio was also right.

Unfortunately a bit hidden, but definitely worth mentioning! La Grappa, an Italian restaurant with on-site, but also take-out and delivery options! ...a special feature, an XXL pizza is offered here! Top!!! ...we were there, a family dinner, choices and more, so everyone should find something for themselves. Extra requests will of course also be taken into account. We were very well looked after and left very satisfied after a grappa or massala. And will definitely come again!

We ate last night, my partner and I think the La Grappa restaurant is currently the best in Gladbeck

Today I unfortunately have to give an otherwise good pizzeria few stars. You can no longer pay by card there! And this in this day and age. The fees are too high for the boss. So if someone wants to go out for pizza, take cash with them. It was never possible to pay by card when ordering for pickup. Quite strange. In addition, the courts have shrunk massively. Normal pizza is as small today as it was three years ago. The big salad just like the small one back then. The prices have risen massively. 2 normal pizzas with a large spritzer and 1/4 liter of Lambrusco now €42. It's not worth it to me anymore.🙄

The diversity of the menu leaves nothing to be desired – from fresh pasta to hearty antipasti. The quality of the ingredients and the loving preparation ensure an authentic taste experience. The wine selection is also impressive. A place where you feel comfortable and can enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Nicht empfehlenswert. Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich und kurz ab. Gefragt ob noch einer was trinken möchte wurde nicht. Das Essen war jetzt auch keine spitzen Qualität gerade bei solch einer Preisklasse kann man erwarten , dass frische Champignons serviert werden und keine aus dem Glas. Anhand der Pommes konnte man feststellen, dass das Pommes Fett nicht mehr frisch ist. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Sehr gute Pizza aber auch die Gnocchi sind spitze.

Je nach Tageszeit bekommt man gefühlt immer andere Portionsgrößen. Aber das Essen ist insgesamt immer sehr gut! Und der Service war meistens gut, aber jetzt beim letzten Mal war er hervorragend.

Eine Pizza die geschmacklich einmalig und sehr lecker ist, nettes Personal, einladendes Ambiente und Faire Preise. Immer wieder gerne 😊

Wir hatten dort unser Klassentreffen und klar das nicht alle zur gleichen Zeit kommen konnten. Getränke waren von uns bestellt und eigentlich wollten wir noch auf die anderen warten, doch die Kellnerin meinte: das Essen dauert ca.40 Minuten, dann kann es auch sein das ihr erst um 22.00 Uhr was bekommt. Also bestellten wir. Das Essen wurde serviert mit dem Satz; nun esst jetzt. Wir verdutzt. Dann die Frage: Wenn bis 20.00 Uhr keiner mehr kommt können wir dann einen von den angestellten Tischen weg stellen? Es kam nich mehr, aber das würde zu lang. Auf den Punkt gebracht, die Kellner unhöflich und hektisch. Das Essen war gut und die Preise angebracht. Auch die Atmosphäre sehr angenehm. Vielleicht sind sie mit einer größeren Gruppe überfordert. Es war auch ein Samstag und alle Tische besetzt.

Wir waren hier zu fünft essen. Das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und extrem freundlich, das Essen war sehr lecker, schnell serviert und heiß. Die Preise sind in Ordnung. Für fünf Personen waren es am Ende 140€. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Nach einer nicht so positiven Erfahrung vor einigen Monaten, haben wir nochmals einen Besuch im La Grappa gemacht und saßen in dem schöneren Restaurantraum, wurden sehr nett bedient und haben lecker gegessen. Jetzt können wir das La Grappa empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Ich kenne den lnhaber seit mehreren Jahren. Seine Philosophie zur Speisenzusammenstellung ist auch meine. Ich fühle mich wohl dort.

Wir haben das Restaurant durch die Kulinariscard vor der Pandemie kennengelernt und sind letzte Woche dort nach langer Zeit wieder hingefahren, weil uns „La Grappa“ in Erinnerung geblieben ist. Uns gefällt das Ambiente sehr gut, neue italienische Musik, nettes und aufmerksames Personal, aber vor allem sehr gutes Essen italienischer Art. Eine besondere Art der Bruscetta sowie die Pastagerichte haben uns überzeugt. Auch wenn der Nachtisch nicht selbst hergestellt, sondern über Drittanbieter eingekauft wird, schmeckt auch der. Wir werden wiederkommen und möchten den guten Eindruck gern hinterlassen, um andere auch davon zu überzeugen, es hier auszuprobieren oder wiederzukommen.

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal dort Essen, da viele uns schon viel erzählt hatten, wollten wir es selbst mal Testen. Mega lieber Empfang. Wir hatten uns spontan entschieden Essen zu gehen und bekamen sogar ohne Reservierung einen schönen Platz. Pizza war mega lecker und die Tiramisu war sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben die Konfirmation unserer Tochter im La Grappa gefeiert (19 Personen). Das Buffet haben wir gemeinsam mit dem Chef zusammengestellt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service gut. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Das übrig gebliebene Essen konnten wir komplett mitnehmen. Einziger winziger Kritikpunkt: an dem Tag war es sehr heiß, es funktionierte nur einer von zwei Deckenventilatoren. Ansonsten auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Normalerweise bin ich anderes Essen bei La Grappa gewohnt. Heute hat mich die Pizzeria jedoch enttäuscht. Pizza viel zu trocken und an den Zutaten wurde wohl gespart. Unter Bruschetta verstehe ich etwas anderes. Stattdessen servierte man uns ein trockenes Stück Baguette mit Tomate und Zwiebeln! Wo ist der Rest? Keine Würze und kein Balsamico! Sehr enttäuschend.

Angenehmes ruhiges Ambiente mit sehr leckerem Essen. Preislich sind z.B die Pizzen unschlagbar und sehr lecker.
