We went there for lunch with our children last Sunday. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The price/performance ratio was perfectly fine. The staff were courteous and very friendly. I can highly recommend this restaurant. A small suggestion for the owner: the dining room was a bit too cold for our liking.

We ate there on Saturday and the food was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were great, however, I found the service truly awful. She certainly thought she was being funny, but there are limits. Her comments were really unacceptable and somewhat spoiled the whole experience. However, the food itself deserves high praise.

This is a country hotel nestled in nature, dating back to 1725. It has recently been passed down from one generation to the next. We received a very warm welcome. As we were there for our 50th class reunion, we were even given a quieter room out of consideration for our dog. A big thank you to the chef and to the senior owner (82 years old), who provided fresh bread rolls for breakfast on Saturday. Anyone who loves nature and good food will be very happy here. Thank you for the wonderful time we spent here.

The staff works strictly according to their own rules – without any flexibility or willingness to address individual concerns. Child-friendly? None. Families feel more unwelcome than welcome here. The atmosphere is cold, the staff inattentive and rude. You constantly feel like you're a nuisance rather than a valued guest. The restaurant acts solely in the interests of the business, not the customers. No understanding, no accommodation – instead, rigid processes and zero room for personal wishes. Conclusion: Anyone who values ​​hospitality, service, and a pleasant atmosphere should avoid this restaurant.

We just had dinner at peak time at this lovely country inn. The beer garden was full; at the entrance, there was a sign saying "today by reservation only." Unfortunately, we didn't have a reservation, but we were still warmly welcomed in. They offered us a lovely spot. The staff, including the manager, were extremely friendly and polite despite the large number of guests and the amount of work they were doing. We were prepared for a long wait, as we hadn't pre-ordered, which wouldn't have been a problem for us. Our drinks and food arrived very quickly. All we can say is that everything was lovingly prepared and absolutely delicious. We've had this positive experience several times at the Landgasthof Voigtlaide. She puts her heart and soul into her job and is always very attentive; we always had something to drink. The food was truly delicious; kudos to the kitchen! We were at the Landgasthof Voigtlaide today for our nephew's first day of school. The food was fantastic, and the staff, especially Diana, were absolutely lovely. She was friendly, kind, competent, and had a lovely manner. We had a wonderful day and would love to come back.

The staff is absolutely rude. From the fact that you had to justify why you needed cutlery again – and then you didn't even get it because you were supposedly eating with your hands (which is a disgrace, because I'm still the one who decides how to eat my food) – to: "The glass has a handle, too." Hey, then? Then do your job and just walk around the table, as is customary in a restaurant. I've rarely seen such unfriendly staff, who were also completely overwhelmed. The only question that remains for me is: Why were they so overwhelmed? It can hardly have been the customer service – there was practically no service at all. Glasses were cleared away, but hardly anyone was asked if they wanted something else to drink (which would have increased the evening's revenue 😉).

If you want to eat well and be full, this is the place to go. Great food, very friendly service. The chefs always strive to please their guests. For us, this is the best restaurant within a 100 km radius.

We ate here with our parents today and have nothing but positive things to say. The food is super delicious, portion sizes are generous, and we think it's definitely good value for money. We received very friendly and prompt service, and the staff even had a few quick jokes. We'd be happy to come back and recommend this restaurant.

We had a party with eleven people and were very impressed with the food and the atmosphere. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. What was absolutely terrible was the service! We'd never experienced anything like it before. Some of the comments were below the belt. The looks from our guests showed us that everyone agreed. We know it's hard to find staff at the moment, but that's not right. We'd love to come back.

Third attempt, unfortunately, third failure. It happened last Sunday. First of all, the food at the country inn is really good, which is why you keep going back. Less pleasant when you explicitly request and confirm a seat in the large beer garden, only to be directed to the three tables on the street when you get there. NO, we just didn't want to sit there. The dismissal from the waitress, who had already directed guests before us to the "side seats," with the words "the same goes for you," was reason enough to go somewhere else to eat. It's a real shame.

I was a guest DJ at a wedding at the Landgasthof Voigtlaide, and I can only say that it's a very nice and clean inn with a beautiful hall and good food. The service is basically okay, too; only one waitress spoils the otherwise very good overall impression. When you entertain guests for five hours, but completely ignore the DJ, and when he finally runs up to the bar and begs for a mineral water, you yell at him, "Get out of here, nobody's allowed in here," yeah, okay, I didn't see the sign in the dim light, so that's pretty impressive...! But all's well that ends well. I was handed a bottle of mineral water and a glass and was allowed to serve myself 😁 I've been on the road with my mobile disco weekend after weekend for decades, but I've never experienced such treatment. Hence, one star deduction!

We had a family celebration in the restaurant and were extremely satisfied with the food, except for the unfriendly service. If we go there again, we'll only eat in the dining room.

On Friday, June 6, 2025, four of us spontaneously ended up at the Landgasthof Voigtlaide with friends. Everyone enjoyed the food (the men had a Mutzbraten (roasted pork) and the ladies had a schnitzel). A great dining room, a friendly owner, and very clean restrooms. It was another pleasant stay. Since it was a holiday, the restaurant was very busy, and the beer garden was also open. Nevertheless, we were served promptly and friendly. Special requests were also fulfilled. The food was delicious again, especially the gravy. We'll be back.

Meinen Freunden hat es gut geschmeckt. Meine Ente war nicht der Renner, hat angezogen nach Frost und nur aufgewärmt geschmeckt. Schade. Die Bedienung ist mit einem sofort per Du, trotz unbekannt. Finde ich unhöflich. Und die Webseite sollte man überarbeiten da die Preise ca. zehn Euro teurer sind.

We were there with our two dogs last night and were very excited! The dogs were first given water, we were placed in a quiet place according to our wishes - and everything in the most friendly atmosphere! An extra compliment to the very friendly, attentive young lady who really made us feel like we were welcome guests, even as guests with dogs. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely eat here again!

The service seemed very overwhelmed and unfortunately often reacted unfriendly. Even when we praised the kitchen, it was simply dismissed. In addition, the plates were cleared straight away, even though some of us had just taken our last bite, which left us with an uneasy feeling. Conclusion: A nice restaurant with first-class food, but unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. With more attentive and friendly service, the experience would have been much more pleasant.

An hour before the scheduled end, the DJ was asked to pack his things immediately, otherwise his equipment would be locked up. In principle, the mood was at its lowest point and the celebration ended prematurely. The rude comments from the boss also contributed to this. Food was good, but we can't recommend it for celebrations. Of course there will be a cheeky comment from the owner under this review, but it's just the truth.

A very nice celebration We celebrated our golden wedding anniversary with 9 people at the Landgasthof Vogtlaide. It was just great. As requested, we were able to sit in a separate room. Drinks and lunch orders were taken quickly and friendly and served in a very reasonable time. Everything was of the best and tasted great. The little walk after dinner was quite pleasant. Various drinks and desserts to bridge the time until coffee weren't a problem either. Coffee with a delicious strawberry cake and freshly baked cake rounded off this successful day. Thank you for the great day, especially to the always friendly and nice service. We'll be back soon.

We were guests at the Landgasthof Voigtlaide for three nights. The location is great for getting some relaxation. We went hiking and went on a wagon ride. There is a playground for the children and there is another large playground in town. The rooms were clean and the service was top. Now the food. The prices are appropriate for the portion size and, above all, the very good quality. There wasn't anyone in our group who didn't enjoy it. The couple who run the place are passionate and have nothing to complain about. We'd love to come back
