Hervorragende Schnitzel und noch besseres Bier. Freundliches und sehr effizientes Personal. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Schönes Lokal, aber der Service war für drei Getränke sehr langsam. Das Personal lief herum und tat nichts.

Wir hatten hier neulich Schnitzel mit Spargel und es war super lecker. Getränke und Service waren auch sehr gut. Wir kommen wieder!

War lange nicht mehr da. Leider, denn es ist alles super lecker und die zwei Herren sind sooo nett. Einfach perfekt! Ich komme schneller wieder 🤗

Wir hatten das große vergnügen mit der Familie den 90. Geburtstag unserer Uroma Oma und Mutter zu feiern . Der Service war seeeehr herzlich und zuvorkommend ! Das Essen war herrausragend ,Kalbsleber berliner Art wie aus meiner Kindheit . Die Schnitzel so wie man es sich wünscht . Für die kids gab es Kartoffelpuffer alles sehr schön angerichtet und mit liebe gemacht . Sehr urig ,herzlich und so wie man sich das berliner Herz und die Küche vorstellt. Nochmals Kompliment an die Küche den Sevice !

Vor dem Füchse Spiel ist ein Besuch im Café Meta ein Muss. Nettes Ambiente, liebes Personal und gute Küche. Wir kommen immer wieder!!!!

Nette Bar, nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Wenn man rechtzeitig vor einer Veranstaltung in der Max-Schmeling-Halle kommt, gibt es Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür (Parkraumbewirtschaftung). Reservierung empfohlen.

Ein nettes deutsches Pub. Hier gibt es traditionelle Gerichte und gutes Bier. Das Personal ist freundlich. Sehr traditionelle und entspannte Atmosphäre.

An einem Tag war der Service großartig und freundlich, am anderen Tag sehr unhöflich... Das Essen ist gut und traditionell deutsch.

Very overpriced, not attentive staff

We only had drinks, but the staff was very attentive, friendly, and always had a smile on their faces.

We reserved a table at short notice via email. Because of the concert in the hall across the hall, it was really busy. The food and drinks arrived super fast and everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Super fast, friendly service, we were seated spontaneously, a quaint, cozy pub, and incredibly delicious, fresh food (the schnitzels were audibly freshly pounded). The rosé wine was delicious. Thank you for letting us experience the highly motivated, hand-in-hand service.

You have to try this schnitzel! Are you a vegetarian? Don't worry, I won't snitch. 😜 Honestly. We were here in 2020 and had something to eat before a concert at the Max Schmeling Hall. Simply delicious. 👍🏻 Over five years later, my wife and I checked to see if this place was still there. And lo and behold, it's still here. My wife is now a vegetarian, and she also had a delicious pumpkin strudel, and I had a fabulous schnitzel. Seriously, I absolutely recommend it.

One of my favorite restaurants :) I've been here several times with my family, and after spending such a lovely afternoon with my dad yesterday, I wanted to write a review! Always! We go home satisfied after a visit to this place. The food is well prepared and tastes fantastic, and the super friendly service makes you feel right at home! Highly recommended😊

The schnitzel with asparagus, hollandaise sauce and potatoes is incredibly delicious – simply perfect. The service was very warm and attentive, which is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare in Berlin.

Not breastfeeding friendly and not child friendly!!! Unfortunately, in a really not very friendly and rather derogatory tone, I was told by an employee that I wasn't allowed to breastfeed my 6-month-old child outside because he was unappetizing to other people. I asked her very nicely if I could sit down for a moment, no one was sitting there, I didn't want to get completely naked to breastfeed and my child was crying because she was hungry. I am absolutely outraged by this statement from this employee. In case you don't know, babies are generally fed through breast milk! We often went here for something to eat or drink before or after handball games, but we won't do that in the future. The area definitely has more kid-friendly restaurants and cafes!

We were there after a concert. It was very crowded. Nevertheless, the service was quick and super nice and even the hint that it would be closing soon was done with a very engaging sense of humor. Really great employees.

We are often here before the Foxes' handball games. The food is always delicious, especially the many different types...the service is extremely nice and friendly, although sometimes all hell breaks loose here...the food comes very quickly...

Good and honest food, directly opposite the Max-Schmeling-Halle with fair prices and friendly service. A fresh flower, candle, as well as sea salt and sensible pepper from the mill show the necessary appreciation for the guest and an attentive restaurateur. The only negative point was our table, which was directly in the flight path between the toilet and the kitchen, but that was bearable on a Friday evening + concert day. We'd love to come back! :-)

We drank café Americano and ordered delicious apple strudel. The apple strudel was served with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream with a physalis or golden berry on the side. Highly recommended.

We always really enjoyed going to Café Meta. Either we had bad luck with the service twice in a row or the best days of the meta are over. The kitchen and the kitchen performance are actually always good. There used to be creative dishes too. But the German classics are popular. Unfortunately, the service now has to be described as almost entirely lackluster when it comes to serving the terrace or the outdoor area. We went inside twice and had to interrupt people chatting to order our food and then drinks. I found it even more unpleasant when I looked at the bill today and realized that two too many drinks had been bonged. Of course, our mistake, we should have checked and criticized it. Overall, it fit into yesterday's picture of the service staff. We were very disappointed yesterday and will probably take a break from visiting. A pity.

Rarely have I eaten so well elsewhere. Price performance, completely justified in the district. Small point of criticism...plate was cold...keep it up 😉

Very rude waiter. I asked if I can have tap water when he brought the coffee. Then he said "next time please tell it before when you order". Am I confused or isn't bringing orders part of a waiter's job description? It is not insult or anything, but still super rude and arrogant behaviour.

Really good German restaurant with decent German cuisine including an ideal location right next to the Max-Schmeling-Halle, the Falkplatz (there is also a playground hidden there) and the Mauerpark. Overall, recommended, reasonably priced, also suitable for family celebrations and birthdays or similar, super classic atmosphere and lots of wood, very family friendly (it doesn't bother if the children are loud too/the children are allowed to be relatively loud there), otherwise You don't often find this anymore in our beautiful Berlin!

We ate there for my mother's 90th birthday. Would we have preferred to go to another restaurant! The waiters were overwhelmed and uninterested. Although there were specific agreements about the meal, one meal was completely forgotten, sorry?... no, but not us Apparently they ordered one meal too few. The replacement meal (ragout fin) came 23 minutes later, when the other guests were already ready. And the ragout fin was from a can, just warmed up...The veal liver was available in several pieces, there was everything from almost raw to completely cooked through. The owner was a career changer and the staff was untrained? Coming from this industry (33 years in the catering industry), I think I can make this judgment.

La comida y el servicio muy bien, hemos probado un filete de cerdo empanado con guarnición de patata, ensalada de pepino y huevo frito, y unas especie de albóndigas de carne con puré de patatas y ensalada de remolacha que estaban riquísimas. Y de postre un Creme Brule que es lo mismo que una crema catalana pero algo más suave

Eine echte Berliner Kneipe in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Max-Schmeling-Halle. grandioses Schnitzel! Die Lauchsuppe und das Würzfleisch sehr lecker

Königsberger Klopse waren lecker mit Luft nach oben 4/5 ⭐ Schnitzel mit warmen Kartoffelsalat wurde mit Krautsalat serviert, da der Standard zu sein scheint; passt nu' leider überhaupt nicht zusammen. Schnitzel war lecker, aber den Kartoffelsalat mach ich besser! Krautsalat passt nicht zu Schnitzel und schon gar nicht zu Kartoffelsalat, daher nur 3/5 ⭐ Der Apfelstrudel mit Eis und Vanillesoße hatte viel zu viele Rosinen, die zudem in Alkohol eingelegt waren und war daher ungenießbar; würde 3/5 bekommen, wäre auf der Karte deutlich zu lesen gewesen, dass Alkohol drin ist... für trockene Alkoholiker fatal, bekommt daher leider 2/5 ⭐ Service lässt Luft nach oben 3/5 ⭐ Ambiente ist nett. 4/5⭐ Alles in allem verdiente 3 ⭐

Sehr gutes Wirtshaus, so würde ich es bezeichnen... Lecker Bier und vor allem leckeres Essen. Wir hatten Schnitzel, Königsberger Klopse und Schokomousse. Alles sehr lecker 😋

Sehr schön am Mauerpark gelegen. Und schöne Mischung aus Kneipe und Restaurant. Die Karte ist zwar klein, aber das Essen sehr lecker zubereitet. Für Berlin ungewöhnlich freundliche Bedienung. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung...

Netter Service, bei tollen Getränken u Speisen! Wir kommen gerne wieder

Um sich für das Konzert in der max-schmeling-Halle zu stärken, kehrten wir hier ein. Es war gut was los, was leider zur Folge hatte, dass wir sowohl auf die Getränke als auch auf den hähnchen Salat sehr lange warten mussten. Es gab erst auf Nachfrage eine Info, dass die Küche überlastet sei, da der Laden voll ist. Als wir nach Brot vorab fragten, weil wir echt hungrig waren, bekamen wir das gefühlt widerwillig. Ich bin gern bereit, aufs Essen zu warten aber eine Info darüber oder schnellere Getränke stattdessen hätten die Wartezeit etwas versüßt.

Da vi selv boede på Prenzlauerberg (1999-2009) lå denne café der allerede. Det er faktisk et geheimtip at de mest autentiske berlinske spisesteder kalder sig cafeer (snarere end restauranter) - og serverer et mindre udvalg enkle, men vellavede retter, der veksler med sæsonen. De har typisk en tavle over en lang bar af træ, et stammtisch, og inventaret har ikke ændret sig i 100 år. ...Men i Metas tilfælde burde de virkelig male det store lokale i en mere neutral farve end skrigende grøn! Og tage nogle af de grimme hippie-lamper ned!

Wir waren vor einem Konzert dort. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und es war ziemlich voll, aber trotzdem wurde uns ein Platz angeboten. Die Angestellten waren alle sehr nett. Das Essen kam zügig und hat geschmeckt.
