Landhaus am kleinen Sägeweiher in Kirkel

Wanted to eat there, there was no free space left for 2 people. We had tried to call before but in vain no one answered the phone. Today tried again and again to make an appointment by phone. Nobody answers. I ask myself what's the point? Nothing works without a reservation. That It's not normal, especially since the inn is in the Schlemmerblock. How should I make a reservation???I'm pretty angry.

We became aware of the country house at the small saw pond through the “Schlemmerblock”. And we ate there for the first time this evening. The service is great, we were served straight away and they always checked and asked if everything was okay. My sister has celiac disease (a type of gluten intolerance) and this is something that is very important here. The dishes always stated that they were gluten-free! I had pumpkin soup, side salad and the cordon bleu with pulled pork. Everything was just very, very tasty 😋. We'd love to come back! We really felt like we were in good hands. Everything is barrier-free too! Can really recommend it! 👍🏻

Today we were at the Landhaus am kleine Sägeweiher for the first time. What more could you want: the best food, the best enjoyment, great ambience. It wasn't the last time we were there and we'd love to come back.

In addition to all the very good meat dishes, warm recommendation for the sweet potato gnocchi with peanut pesto. A great combo. Very, very tasty!

Great staff, very friendly even though they were understaffed. The food was very tasty, schnitzel and cordon bleu were juicy. There were 9 of us and everyone was happy. We have been there several times and have never been disappointed. I think it's particularly great that they prepare cordon bleu and schnitzel gluten-free upon request. This is the highlight for me because I have to eat gluten-free. I can highly recommend the Landhaus am Sägeweiher.

We really enjoy going here. We have never been disappointed with the food. We also celebrated our son's communion here. Everything went smoothly too. All in all.. recommended.

Great restaurant with good service and delicious food (but I would brace myself beforehand, the portions are large and fill the stomach well). The only problem I could mention is that you rarely get in without a reservation, but this can be prevented if you call in advance or reserve online. Really a great place. The food was great! By far the best Cordon Bleu we have eaten. Nothing to complain about. The location is very cozy, old but still very nice. A table was decorated especially for us, which we were really happy about. Suitable for autumn 🍂🍄 A huge compliment to the service - especially Andreas. He brightened up our evening and made it as pleasant as possible. Andreas, if you're reading this, you're a doer. Keep it up 🫶🏼 It's worth going there just because of this young man We paid with the Schlemmerblock, it worked perfectly without any discussions or anything else. I can only recommend it to everyone👌🏼

We were in the restaurant again today. Have always eaten well there. Today there were four of us and everyone had steak. One person's steak was so tough you couldn't cut it, let alone eat it. It made her so sick that she vomited. If they complained, they were told they were sorry the person wasn't happy with the food and they would pass it on. After paying, the waitress asked if she could offer an espresso as compensation. After half an hour, the person in question was still waiting for the espresso. We then drove home, we would just sit there and wait. I think it's outrageous to offer something and nothing happens 🤬

Food and service overall...okay But ambience could do with a makeover. And a cleaning lady! Spider webs on the window and think! Doesn't exactly make you hungry for more.

I ate here for the first time yesterday and was really impressed. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was very tasty, sufficient and had a very good price/performance ratio. It is probably quite busy so you should definitely reserve early. I therefore cannot understand guests who are turned away without a reservation and then express this verbally with a lot of displeasure. I hadn't made a reservation either because it was a spontaneous decision, but I would have understood it without knocking if I had been turned away. The fact is, I now have a date for September 6th. Reserved and am already looking forward to eating there. Please keep it up. A big thank you for that.

A really nice place, especially in the summer days. The service was excellent and we all really enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is really very cozy and the beer garden is definitely worth a visit.

I was invited there for a birthday and I was really pleasantly surprised at how beautifully everything was decorated by the owners. The location is on the edge of Kirkel, a little difficult to find because I couldn't enter the street in the navigation system (it wasn't just me).

We were there for the second time with the Schlemmerblock. I can recommend this country house with a very clear conscience 👍🏻 The service staff were nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty and plentiful. I was really surprised about the sauce for the schnitzel. Great taste and nice consistency. NO mush Another big plus point are the dishes for people with gluten allergies. We will be back.......

Incredibly bad!!!! The menu on site does not match the menu online! Service inexperienced, very slow and unprofessional! Bread not brought as promised. Very long waiting times! Not recommendable.

My husband and I recently went there for dinner. First about the service: despite the full house, the service staff were quick and attentive and we felt very comfortable! Now the food: It was really very tasty and the portion was large enough to fill you up. Everything was fresh and crunchy, even the salad dressing was delicious. The crispiness of the fries couldn't be beat. My absolute highlight was the dessert: ice cream with chocolate sauce: amore Mio!!!! We will definitely come back!

The country house is decorated with old furniture and objects, I like that sort of thing. The food and service were good, what I didn't like was that the menu contained too many schnitzel dishes for me. Nevertheless, I have to say my cordon bleu was very good. Definitely go there again.

A cozy and simple restaurant. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the food. I had a Schlemmer Cordon Bleu and was thrilled with this variation. The price-performance ratio is also right. The staff was also very friendly. Overall everything is consistent. Gladly again ☺️

The food is again really good - especially the steak and fries. Brilliant! We haven't been there for a long time because it wasn't so good before, but our current visit convinced us to definitely come back. Have already recommended it to others!!! The furnishings/ambience are not really harmonious. It's neither a restaurant feeling nor a bar feeling. There is still room for improvement here.

We were here on Valentine's Day and chose the Valentine's menu. At the reception there was a delicious rose secco, which was offered both with and without alcohol. The menu consisted of 3 courses and was so tasty that at the end we couldn't even say which of the 3 courses was best ;) The ambience was romantic and beautiful with dim lighting and candlelight. You felt comfortable and relaxed. The waitresses were really friendly and nice and despite the busy restaurant there was no sense of hecticness. We like coming here. We would like to say thank you very much for a wonderful, relaxed and delicious evening

It was a bit of a shame that the steak wasn't on the normal menu like it was online and they then said that the dishes from the daily menu weren't available on the gourmet block. Otherwise it was good

The location is not a place where you want to stay for a long time, it's very old-fashioned, the service is hard-working, the prices are reasonable, the food, home cooking, is a lot but okay. Unfortunately for us no second visit. The selection of gluten-free dishes should definitely be mentioned.

We celebrated our wedding in the country house and everyone was thrilled. The decoration of the entrance area and the next room was very nice. The buffet was fantastic, from starters lovingly prepared in individual bowls to dessert. The waitresses were all very nice and friendly, never annoyed. We all had an unforgettable day and would do it all again.

Im Landhaus am kleinen Sägeweiher war ich früher (2011-2014) fast alle 4 Wochen. Leider hat sich bis heute nicht viel geändert. Immer noch richen alle Kleider nach Pommes oder sonstigem Fett. Sonst ist dort alles ganz ok. Bedienungen sind nett und man wird auch recht schnell bedient. Man hat nicht den Eindruck dass alles frisch zubereitet wird. Geschmacklich ist aber dennoch alles ok.

Das Essen ist immer lecker. Wenn Buffet ist, ist die Auswahl immer ausreichend und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei.Leider ist es immer wieder, dass andere Gäste die Deckel am Buffet nicht mehr schließen und dadurch das Essen nur noch lauwarm ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Angefangen hat es mit einem Salat, dessen Dressing super lecker war, der Salat knackig und frisch. Das Essen...um es kurz zu beschreiben....fantastisch. Fleisch, frisch zubereitet und sehr gute Qualität....Pommes schön cross und heiß...Soße, hausgemacht mit frischen Pilzen.....hier macht essen Spaß im Mund...... So begeistert wir waren, so enttäuschend war es an Weihnachten. 50 € pro Person, Buffet und Getränke inklusive. Sie kamen mit dem auffüllen nicht nach, manches wurde gar nicht mehr aufgefüllt, sodass man nur noch das nachsehen hatte. Für das was geboten wurde, war der Preis total überzogen.

Wie auch die vergangenen Jahre, ein ganz tolles Weihnachtsbuffet. Dieses Jahr mit anderen Speisen als letztes Jahr; der Lachs und der Rinderbraten waren göttlich. Wir waren jetzt das 4. mal dort und kommen ganz sicher wieder.

Hallo, er war alles super! Aber es war einfach im Restaurant zu kalt wir hatten durchweg mit 10 Personen kalt. Aber trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

Waren mal wieder dort und es war sehr sehr lecker

War sehr laut. Essen Top. Ich hatte ein Cordon Bleu gefüllt mit Pulled Pork und Käse. Ein Gedicht. Meine Frau hatte ein Vegetarisches Schnitzel und seit langem mal das Gefühl als Vegetarier willkommen zu sein.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Der Service war freundlich. Die Preise sind angenehm. Wir mussten nicht lange auf Getränke und Essen warten. Das einzige was etwas störte,war der Lautstärkepegel der anderen Gäste, aber dafür kann der Wirt, bzw. Betreiber ja nichts. Ansonsten war es ein schöner Abend. Gerne wieder.

Ein Lob an die Küche. Essen war echt sehr schmackhaft 😊 leider mussten wir eine halbe Stunde warten bis wir unsere Getränke bekommen haben. Allerdings war es auch sehr voll! Deshalb keine große Kritik! Personal war trotz großer Fülle,sehr nett.
