We've been wanting to try Essenz for a long time. The restaurant itself is very nice, but we found it a bit too "clean." The service was very attentive and friendly, but a bit too distant for our taste for an Alpine restaurant (even with three stars, you can expect something to thaw out after several hours). Personally, the food came much too quickly for us. Both times I wanted to sneak around the corner, I was asked to hurry up – I understand that the food is ready when it's ready, but then you just have to slow down. The food was very good, although a bit defensive in flavor (compared to other international three-star restaurants). Definitely something everyone will enjoy; we just would have liked a bit more punch on some of the plates. All in all, a great restaurant, but for the price, we wouldn't go back.

Good Turkish Doner restaurant in Schwerin The owner is friendly and cheerful, he doesn’t speak English proficiently, but he tried his best to welcome us and have a chat with us. The cost is reasonable for the amount of food. The food is Halal as well.

We go for soup several times a week. The food is always delicious, the service is excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly. It's also always clean, and we feel very comfortable every time!
